Wet love these lights, in winter are garden was dark at night and we looked out at blackness, now these lights, light up or shrubs in the darkness and give it a completely new look at night, fortunately we have a power source down the garden so they were easy to plug in and set up. So as long as you can get the power to where you need it then these lights can transform your garden at night.

I had no issues with the length of the main cable length that said some installations may require an extension cable, these lights are white only,a nice accessory could have included coloured lens covers to change the effect,if you are happy with white lights then these are good value, compact and bright.I would recommend them.

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersThese lights are really good and bright enough to illuminate any average household garden.

I’m running mine through an off grid system, where solar panel is recharging a 12V 120Ah leisure battery. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07RZBVTGR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Battery supplied by Tayna (https://www.tayna.co.uk/).

The load is being fused through a car fuse box (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08XHS4B55/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to protect against shorts.

If connecting to the 12V supply directly, you do not use the supplied transformer, but you will need to cut the end of the plug off and connect the wires to the fuse box terminals (Blue to Black, Brown to Red).

***IMPORTANT- DO NOT CONNECT TO THE HOUSEHOLD MAINS (240AC) SUPPLY WITHOUT USING THE SUPPLIED TRANSFORMER***

The lights are being controlled by my Alexa, by one of these relays (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B084DR3VWR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), giving me a timed schedule on when they come on and go off.

As others have said, the cables are very short, but can be extended very easily, by cutting the cable on the light and joining with outdoor cable (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XNVZTR9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) using a waterproof junction box (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07C3TRC62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

As this is a 12V supply, you just need confidence in cutting the cable and joining it. All the above can be done without any soldering, as they are all screw connectors.

Consider these 6 light system, as they are “daisy” chained instead of all coming from one socket, they are a little longer, but may still need to be extended as I explained above. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08341FFSB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Hope this helps, they are really good quality, although the thread on the screws to connect the spikes are a little short, meaning they can be fiddly to tighten up.

How long they last, I don’t know, as only had them a few days, but I’m happy with them.

Hope this has helped…. good luck.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersGood Value modern LED’s that I used to replace mains powered flood lights (Par 38 – 100W). Initially I was sceptical when I received the very small box, but all components are very well made. Just had to add the ground-spikes (allen key and screws provided), and connect the 4 leads into the adapter plug amd they were ready to go. For extra safety from weather I used an enclosure box (Eagle Outdoor IP54 Rated Splash Proof Water Resistant Electrical Connection Box) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0718Z2MQJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As you can see from the above picture used to highlight garden plants. Impressed with results – much brighter than I imagined they would be for the size of bulb, but less “bleed” of light compared to old floods, so overall effect better. As other reviewers stated – leads are relatively short, so need to be positioned central to your display. Adapter plug wont fit within weatherproof IP rated flip-top sockets, hence why I used enclosure box.

Good Bright replacement for old Par 38 floodlights

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersLights themselves are very good quality. However the cables are very limited so coverage of distance between all lights I found to confined and close together.
On looking to locate ‘compatible’ extension leads they were almost the cost of the lights.
I ordered a similar product with extra extension leads supplies of which enabled me to extend a lot more coverage throughout the garden.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersGood product, well made, does the job… but the wires are only 2m long so the maximum distance for end light to end light is 4m, one light per metre. Cable could be 2 @ 4m long and 2 @ 2m long. Also the mains plug / transformer does not fit inside a weatherproof garden socket so cannot close and seal. But, still a good product!

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersGreat product and speedy delivery…cable could do with being a bit longer and it could be made more clear which extension cable is needed as I ordered a pack of 5 leads which were advertised with the light set but they did not fit.
