Changed my review as camera has stopped recording on its own. It was all set up fine but for some reason it’s stopped recording. I can still view live. Excellent price but very disappointed with unreliability.
I am a total cretin with IT stuff so my neighbours had to set it up for me. Picture quality is great and colour night vision is great. Had to buy an sd card and didn’t realise until my neighbours showed me today that it records on its own, just what I needed. It also shows you alarm recordings so you know to check the footage. It looks good in black and does what I need it to do when I’m getting tormented off my next door neighbour. Good manoeuvrability. Excellent value for money, compared to the price of cctvs with hard drive, just hope it lasts especially where I live is exposed to harsh weather.
Can I just say I bought the camera of amazon there was a mark on the screen I was told to contact the company I did they were realy helpfull looked through my camera saw there was a fault and they sorted it realy happy with quality and service
I purchased 2 of these cameras (and now buying a 3rd one) for security on a renovation property. It was important that the cameras could observe a large area, be good in day and night time, and to be high in video recording quality. They tick all those boxes.
The cameras also have loud speakers and microphones, so good for detracting unwanted people, as well as a good light for security at night.
The cameras are easy enough to install. Overall, they are good value of the money
Bought this to just keep an eye on the cars out the front of the house.

Iv had this camera for the last couple of month now and have to say I’m very surprised on the quality of the camera with it been under 50 I paid for it, the night vision is spot on and the picture quality I have no bad words for it.
The only problem I had with the install I could not get it to connect to WiFi so I ended moving the rooter so I could run it off the cable and it went straight on and have not had problem with it.
Bought the model CTIPC-285C-B HD security camera to monitor my drive .
Set up was easy via phone method but my PC could not find it to set it up.
However the phone find control is a bit rough I want to line up with top of fence . so I get maximum area of my property watched Its very hard to do on my old phone but when I used a different program on my amazon fire tablet it was easy .. Can add a program to see camera on fire stick so can view on my main TV
I have been using for a while the continuous monitoring to Sd card is nice and the alerts when sent are easy to find . However it seems to be forgetting to do alerts and forget to frame humans . It was original fine and i can see the events happening on the continuous recordings on SD card. A reboot seems to cue the framing and alerts for a while. Not tried it yet but the email alerts and write to ftp server were a pleasant bonus . Sadly the cable for power , reset and ethernet are very large and you need a big hole in the wall to hide them . so not as clean as the photo they show
The framing of humans is strange as the box jumps around faster then the stream on my old phone

Great item.. signal a little weak though keeps dropping the signal now and again but overall it’s a decent camera, perfect image and strong design.pricing is just right anymore then 39.99 and it’s starting to get not worth it.
Both the CCTV camera’s worked very well once set up with Wi-Fi range extenders.
I think that they’re really good, sturdy and reliable cameras. They have a very clear image and the lights around the camera mean that you can see in the night very clearly which is fantastic. They are also very easy to set up on the app and the app is easy to use in order to move the cameras around. The design is slick and easy to install anywhere in and out of the home. Overall, I really like these cameras, the audio and microphone is very clear and loud too. I would definitely recommend and may be repurchasing soon.
I kept box and had temporarily installed the camera with pull ties as I was doubtful of quality as the price.
This camera is amazing. Physical installation is easy, the setting up the app for pic settings takes a bit of time.

This camera at this price point is Excellent . Easy to install and set up . Very good Wi-fi connection and able to view remotely is so good . Image quality is also good and clear. I was impressed with the night time vision and when switched to colour also equally clear but does have a LED light that enables this feature. It quite sensitive for human location and picks up the trees at the front of my house. Yes its made of plastic but it looks a quality item installed.
This camera is so much more than i imagined, perfect pictures, day, and night, even my 2 sons were impressed, so easy to control via the app even for a 59 nana lol

I’ve had this camera installed for two weeks now. The picture is very clear and the night vision is superb too. A bit fiddly to set up and I found that a hard wire ethernet connection was the best option. For this I used a weatherproof cable and have had no problems with connecting to the camera remotely despite my poor internet connection at my business. The two-way audio is not the best but does the job. I’m going to buy another one of these cameras and that will cover my property which is 20+ acres. I am really amazed that this camera can do the same as my aged system that cost thousands to install 10 years ago!
High quality results but great price and easy to install.
Absolutely brilliant easy to install quality of pictures is first class
But what lets this camera down is the god-awful Windows software, it really is bad. For a start, setting this camera up is even more difficult than installing the camera on your outside wall. You have to use your phone or tablet to scan the QR Code on the box, this adds the camera to your phone/tablet app, but not the Windows app. In the Windows app, you have to manually enter your ‘Area’, then modify your area to add your 15-number serial – “Input UID”, then do a search to find your wi-fi, select your wi-fi, then add your router’s details, then goto the “Camera” icon, then click on the region you want. Hopefully, then your camera is online in one of the windows on the right. But this took a long time of trial and error, because the camera kept saying “camera not found”, or “camera offline”, even though it was online in the router’s settings.
Once setup, the camera is easy to use. There are buttons to move the camera, but the dome version I purchased doesn’t zoom in or out, despite the advert saying it has zoom, it doesn’t. You can zoom in the camera software, but all this does is zoom the “screen”, not the camera lens.
BUT, there is one REALLY annoying button in the Windows software. The middle circular arrow, the button that is surrounded by directional arrows in the PTZ section, bottom left of the software. what this button does is it puts the camera in “Roam” mode, and the camera roams, or rotates the camera automatically, but you can’t switch this off, there is no stop button. And if you try to keep pressing this button the camera keeps roaming, even if you quit the camera software then restart it, the camera KEEPS roaming, and the only way I have found to stop it is to constantly keep pressing one of the directional buttons until it stops – this might take 5+ minutes of constantly pressing the button, OR you power off the camera for at least 5 minutes. So annoying, to a point that this software could make you want to send it back, it’s that bad. I won’t be sending mine back because I spent some time installing the camera high up on one of my exterior walls, and it is a good camera – I will get another one for the back part of my property, but only because I now know how to use the software, and what to avoid doing. The price is low enough to justify getting another camera, and putting up with the awful software.
Recording, and taking snapshots is a breeze, and that has worked very well. Although, this is direct to my PC, not a SDcard.
If you don’t mind the tinkering with the Windows software, then this is a good-value camera. The phone app is much easier to setup and use, but not that practical when you are at home, it’s more for when you are out.
Suburb picture quality both day and night. Not too easy to set up but once it is you can’t really go wrong for the price. Recommended. I will be buying another.
Great for the price, picture quality excellent. Had some issues with installation due to android/ iPad/ laptop being slightly different. Some false alarms camera doesn’t like sleet & snow but all in all really good product.

Excellent camera, good picture quality (day and night), easy to set up without having to install pc software or connect network cables, and mobile app works well too. Location presets are great as the camera rotates to them very quickly.
This is a great wifi camera working well for me with excellent picture quality. Installing it was a little confusing but after a while everything fell into place and installation was finally complete. I would recommend removing the sticker displaying the QR code and keeping it safe should re installation be required elsewhere, nothing worse than the label fading due to the sun.

Quite simply a great camera for the price point, great colours and good night ir recording, the tracking feature is quite accurate but does alert quite often so switch off this function, pop in micro sd card and the camera keeps recording on being triggered and re writes when full. Great price

For the price you would be lucky to get one has good the set up is the easiest I have ever done there web site is excellent the colour night vision is supper clear the footage is smooth and full 1080p quality would recommend the only fall back the zoom feature is digital not optical you loose picture quality when zooming in , but I would buy another.

Very easy setup for me using only my phone. Download the app, scan the barcode on top of the camera, add your WiFi password and all done.
Remember to change the default password. I owned a similar indoor camera several years ago and it’s clear to see how much technology has improved.

First of all it came with a reasonable amount of instructions which also included advice on how to download further details from the manufacturer’s site if required. Setting up the camera and app was relatively straight forward although a little bit of trial & error was required due mainly to my misinterpretation of the instructions and not following them in strict sequence. The most impressive of all was the customer service. On having a query with regard to the PC software I emailed Ctronics support for advice. They replied by email within 12 hours with steps to take which resolved the problem immediately. The agent was both friendly and knowledgeable. I have found that the camera and app so far to be giving excellent results and I have no hesitation in recommending this unit.

Fantastic camera. The quality both day and night is amazing. Im really impressed with this. We have set ours up to monitor our driveway and it gives full view of the area. The camera can zoom in and out and can also be moved position using the ap.
It was really easy to set up and can be viewed and multiple devices.

Lately a few occasions now, the camera unit has either stop working? Or not as it disconnects Itself as claimed on the app. So i had to resolved this issue by resetting it by climbing it with my long ladder to sort it out.
Hope this is not going to be a long term issue for me. Otherwise im happy and would buy some more if it goes on its mini sale

I’m looking forward to checking the footage over the coming days whilst hoping I don’t become too addicted to keeping an eye out. I’m actually looking forward to seeing if any wildlife visits overnight!

The general build of the camera is solid and does not look cheap at all. The instructions to set up the camera using Wi-Fi was so straight forward and took a matter of 10 minutes to do (because i couldn’t find Wi-Fi password). Once set up its all about going into the settings and experimenting with what works for you.
The quality of the camera is brilliantly clear even at night time with the night sensors. The speakers omit a good quality sound, clear and crips (betetr than a phone loud speaker and the volume can also be adjusted. Moving the camera from the phone is smooth and very responsive.
I have an SD Card in the camera for storing recordings but i would happily pay 5-10 a month for cloud based storage, like most other cameras offer.

Brilliant, the Colour night vision is perfect. The humanoid tracking works really well. The picture is very clear and was so easy to install. The wire length is a good size drilled through window and round side of the house. Easy to access saved videos and pictures. The 2 way talk is very clear aswell! Great for parcel deliveries x

This is a great statement cctv camera! It’s quite large so it really lets possible thrives and neighbours know that you have cctv. It’s a really handy addition to my home. Picture quality is good and it’s been fairly easy to install. Looks very stylish.

I found it tricky to set up the wifi but other than that, the set up is easy and the picture and sound quality are great.

After a recommendation to get this camera I gave it a go and all I can say is it didn’t disappoint! The camera itself is super easy to set up and connect to your phone/wifi. The picture quality it great (especially when set to HD), even when in night mode – which you can choose whether it is is b&w or colour!

One of the best features of this camera i love is the wide angle of view along with the pan & tilt. The camera can simply be moved by just swiping your screen on the phone in the app which to me is fantastic
I have found the Human Tracking very useful as a when a person comes into view, the camera will then continue to follow that person until they go out of view, the camera then goes back to sitting in its original position that it has started in
In the app you can also set up email alerts, two way voice conversation, alarm setting and much more! The picture quality is just incredible and at night you can choose to view between colour or black/white video
I Highly recommend this camera to anyone or for a family member that lives alone who wants that extra peace of mind and added security for their home
It was simple and easy to set up and the picture quality is good.
Even though the camera is made out of plastic it feels reasonably robust and it should last well.
The only issue I have is that the instructions are terrible.
You’ll have to wing it and work out everything yourself.
Would I recommend it to someone else, yes but be prepared for the frustration of the set up.

The ctronics amera is great ,really easy to setup compared to others I’ve used in the past . The picture is excellent and the zoom feature stays perfectly clear . Absolutely over the moon with the chronics camera and would recommend this to anyone looking to boost up there security

The product is sturdy, the instructions are easy to follow for set up and it comes with everything you need including plugs to mount it to the wall! It’s cheaper than other security cameras I have seen and just as good!
This camera is brilliant, easy to configure with mobile App, the video’s are great and very high quality, the Intelligent tracking is very good, it tracks the person in the view and then goes back to the preset position. The two way audio is very useful. Once configured and connected to WiFi, can connect to the camera using the app from any where. Over all very happy with it. Highly recommend it.

It follows and sends mobile alerts for motion detection, u can even speak through it to tell people to bugger off if u want! It would be ideal for indoor and outdoor use and if u want a great set up this is just what u need
Bought this for my parents who have had some problems with vandalism recently and I was worrying about them. This fab little camera does so much more than I expected and my mum said it has given her real peace of mind (as well as a good view of the wildlife visiting her bird feeders )

After receiving the replacement unit. It was apparent the first one i received was faulty. This camera performed perfectly and was easily connected to my network. And It stays connected. It and always has correct date & time stamp. The app for the camera is also very easy to use.
TIP.. Remove QR code sticker from the camera and attach to rear of user manual for future reference Especially if you fixing you device in hard to reach place.

After reading the great reviews about this camera I decided to buy one. Only to be disappointed.
Took a long time to set up and check camera was working before installation. Biggest issue was setting it up and saving to my home network.
Eventually after getting the camera to accept and save all my settings. I preceeded to install outside, only to loose everything once the power was disconnected. Big pain in buttocks trying to reinstall and re-save all network and camera settings again. (Few angry frustrating hrs wasted)
Tried camera for 48 hrs, but kept loosing time stamp & dropping off my WiFi network. Also kept getting alerts on my phone but with no saved images or videos to sd card when checking app (Yes it was set up to save to SD card before any questions). The images I did screen shoot do look very clear day or night.
I have returned product, in hope its only a faulty unit.
The camera and price look very reasonable and functional if it all works correctly as advertised.
Im not one to give up so I will try replacement. Wish me luck.

This camera comes with everything you need to set it up in your home. It also has an app you can use with it. I liked the look of the camera from Amazon but when it arrives it looks even nicer, sleek and modern. My husband found it easy to set up and would definitely recommend for added safety in the home.
I’ve put this low level to watch over our garden as we back on to playing fields and have had “youths” climbing over. Reason for low level is we also look over school grounds so didn’t want to cause an issue there.
The quality of the video/photos are great.and the camera can be preset to positions you can quickly cycle through.
Email notifications come through when an alert triggers, I thought this would be all the time with us having many cats.lll living near by but with the intelligent human filter it only triggers when a person goes past.
