After using a manual pump for my SUP I decided to look at electric pumps, not long after my partner bought a SUP. With this in mind I needed a pump that could comfortably inflate 2 SUPs one after another. This pump has delivered on that! Works great for inflating and added bonus of deflating function which helps getting the boards back into the bags. The active cooling is a great feature which does what it says, took about 10 mins to inflate each board to 15psi. Only used a few times so far with no issues. Price is a little on the high side so look for an offer, you do pay for what you get though as is a great pump.

Very impressive bit of kit. Still takes 6 or 7 minutes to inflate our paddle board to 15psi but much easier than our hand pump. Easy to set up and easy to use the pump to deflate our boards at the end of the day.

GReat pump, saves hal an hour of manual labour pumping up a SUP to 18PSI. Does the job in around 10 minutes and saves all that energy for the paddling.

Fantastic pump, so easy to use. Great as it has multiple attachments. It’s a shame it doesn’t come with a carry bag.

So pleased with this device. Settled on the older model based on the reviews & whilst slightly more expensive, this is so worth the money. Pumped up 2 paddle boards & a kayak in no time at all & the deflation worked a treat as well. So pleased, well worth the money.

We bought goosehill paddle boards and with any SUP the hardest part is not the paddling, its inflation. This does 3 boards in around 30mins to 15psi which you simple cant do with the hand pump. You get to 12psi and think, that will do because its such an effort by that point. So your board is solid, you glide better and you aren’t knackered. You do need a car to pump so logistics become important, and its noisy. But the hand pump is actually pretty noisy too.

So glad I finally caved and purchased this after always knackering myself out before SUPing. Often I would be pumping my girlfriends board up to!

I rarely leave reviews but after seeing a couple of negative ones on this product thought I would respond to them.

There’s a review that said this pump exploded their paddleboard. I would argue that the paddleboard was at fault or the user. This pump cuts out once it’s reached the PSI that you’ve selected for your board. Your board will say what PSI is required.

Another review said the attachments don’t work for their board. Again I think this is user error. The attachments come with three different sized white washers – you need to try each one to find out which one works on your board. I needed the thickest washer for my board. The SUP attachment for the pump I believe has the thinnest washer on straight out of the box.

This machine fully pumped my board up to 16PSI in 7 minutes.

Thank goodness for this pump!! Nice and fast so you can get set up whilst inflating the board. It’s not quiet but who cares!? Uses minimal leisure battery so ideal for campervans. Selection of adapters included.

Good pump just make sure you tighten the pipe up properly as mine didn’t and it just run till it cut out assume due to overheating. Worked fine after that though

Using a hand pump to inflate my stand up paddle board was both time consuming and often left me feeling like I had a workout before I even got onto the water. This makes the job far easier. Easy to use; dial in required pressure and turn it on. The unit has a clear display and shows the psi as it goes, automatically cutting off when it gets to the required pressure. The real benefit is that you can use it to deflate the board after use, which makes packing up after a long day a doddle. Really happy with the design and function of this device even though it is slightly more expensive than alternatives for sale on Amazon.

Got this for my SUP , Red paddle board, easy to plug into the cars power and has made my life a lot easier, no more pumping!
It’s really compact and has quality feel to it , I feel the price reflects the quality
    Generally really happy.

Was sceptical based on reviews and initially unimpressed with the first outcome.

However make sure you check the plastic washers on the fittings to make sure they are on the correct nozzles. Swapped over the washers for the paddleboard and perfect!

7 minutes 45 seconds to 15 psi and a couple of minutes to deflate. Makes life much much easier and SUP far more attractive.

Can’t comment on the noise because you can’t exactly expect it to be silent.

Bought this for inflating a paddleboard using power from the car. Once I had figured out which of the rubber seals to use on the fitting nozzle I was ready to go. The pump easily did the job, inflating to 15 psi in around 8 mins. It is loud and a bit pricey, but effective. Check the hose before and during inflation to ensure it is still screwed tightly into the nozzle. No carry bag which is a shame.

I bought one a couple of years ago and it didn’t work. Amazon refunded my money. Then the brand contacted me and sent me a new unit, free of charge. I said I didn’t want one, but they were insistent that they didn’t want me to have had a bad experience. It arrived during 2022 so I have now had this unit for two summers and I’m updating based on that experience.

I have two SUPs and this compact unit inflates them to 20psi without trouble. I generally rest the unit between boards and it takes about 7-9 minutes per board. The first phase is quick and very quiet, but from about 12psi it gets noisier (as expected). The pump gets warm but the internal fan seems to work and it’ll do a whole board with ease and without cutting out due to heat.

The pump is very lightweight and so it gets moved by the stiffness of the hose. Just be aware of this during setup and keep an eye on the pump so it doesn’t move or fall during the inflation as the board moves.

The 12v cable is really long and is non-removable.

The best feature for me was an unexpected one – the “deflation” capability. The labour-saving aspect of inflation is obvious, but the joy of being able to suck every bit of air from a board is really useful. No more grunting, sitting, rolling, releasing… just connect the hose to the “suck” part of the pump and all air is drawn from the board. This allows me to roll and store it in much less space and with ease, and makes a massive difference to storing and transporting the deflated board.

So, the unit I have now is great. Works easily, reliably and well. While the first one sucked the customer service from Amazon was excellent and from the brand was above and beyond what was needed.

Original review below for comparison, and the light weight and deflation points were made then:

“Bought last year since we had three SUPs and thought I’d take the easy route instead of manual pumping.
The unit’s lcd didn’t work. Occasionally there’d be a flicker but then nothing. Managed to set a level by guess-pressing the dead-feeling buttons and got some inflation. The unit overheats and needs to rest between boards. To be fair the manual says it needs a rest and it did.
Amazon service was fantastic. I explained I’d opened the unit, used it, struggled and wouldn’t be able to return it for a month and they said ‘no worries’ and approved a return. Brilliant.
The reason for the two star (ie more than 1!) is the deflation. That was brilliant. No buttons needed – just attach the the correct vent and the unit sucks the air from the board. It’s the best extraction we’ve ever managed.
Would I buy again? Nope. The unit is cheap plastic and the shape won’t fit/sit/stay on any surface.”

Being retired, hand pumping a 20psi SUP wore me out before I started paddling. This pump is very good. After a bit of experimenting, I found that by changing the valve seals between valve adaptors, I got the correct one for my SUP (Sandbanks Style Ultimate). To pump from flat to 20psi took 11mins 16secs which is perfectly acceptable. The pump cut out at 20psi as promised too. As others have said, the second stage is quite loud, and took 9mins of the 11mins, so just ensure you are not in an area that needs quiet, like early morning on a camp site.
Deflation is quiet and very effective, but no cutout when the board is flat, so don’t leave it unattended. Deflation only took 2mins 30sec after the initial valve depression had emptied the bulk of the air out.
It is expensive, but the max pressure and the speed of inflation/deflation made this a very worthwhile purchase.
PS, it ONLY runs off a 12v car cigarette lighter socket, so a car or Power Station with 12v socket is a must.

Amazing inflated both SUPs in 20 minutes one of which is a 12.8 touring board and it made the 18psi I needed with ease. The other board 10.6 at 13 psi inflated both one straight after the other no over heating of the pump.

It gets the board up to 18psi as I need. It does it quickly. It is noisy but fair enough. I’ve never done more than one board so can’t comment on the three back to back claim. It isn’t the cheapest, time will tell if the reliability matches the price.

Inflates a 10’4″ SUP to desired pressure. The pump is a little noisy when in switches to ‘slow’ mode, and the whole operation takes quite a few minutes. You wouldn’t want to be doing this outside your tent on a quiet morning. We may use the pump to partially inflate each SUP and then finish off by hand. Personally I wasn’t too bothered about the deflation capability but it has proved to be quite useful, especially as our SUPs are best rolled from the valve end and even with the valve locked ‘open’ air can get trapped – so having them properly evacuated before rolling is an unexpected bonus.

This is such a great bit of kit for inflating paddle boards. Set the psi, plug into board, turn on and done in a couple of minutes. It is also great for deflating the board as well.
Of course you can only use this, if you are able to plug into a 12v plug, but it gives you more time on the board, then pumping it up by hand!

I was unsure for quite a while and had mixed feelings after reading reviews for various pumps. I’m so glad I took a chance on this one. It makes blowing up the SUP a doddle. It gets a bit noisy in the second phase but it’s actually not bad. I either have the board at the side or front of the car and then get changed and prepped at the other side so I don’t hear it so much. It’s fast enough for me and there’s minimal waiting. I use a few minutes to stretch out and check I’ve got everything and the pump shuts off automatically.

I had a slight issue with the SUP attachment not quite fitting but I swapped the rubber seal with one of the other attachments and it fits perfectly now.

I use my outdoorsmaster SUP pump on a weekly basis. One day I lost one of the seals to the connector hose, quick e-mail to outdoorsmaster sorted the problem out. A completely new hose was sent to me through the post at no charge. This is the best SUP pump I have used and their customer service is quick to react when you need them. My SUP is 12.6ft Red Voyager which is really hard work to pump up by hand. This pump makes a whole world of difference. Connect it up, set the pressure you want it to cut out at and press start as simple as that.
Also using it to deflate is a game changer for getting all the air out making it easy to pack your board away.

It didn’t take us long to decide that, although paddle boarding is fun, inflating the paddle board is a pain in the posterior. After a few searches and views of reviews, we settled on this unit, not least because it will go to 20psi (optimum pressure for our board). One use, and we were grinning. So much easier than hand pumping. Fairly quiet, reasonably quick, and no sweating. Excellent. Get one.

Gone are the days of pumping up my paddle board by hand and being tired before even hitting the water. This takes all the effort out of it and the automatic cut off at a set pressure is very helpful. Only downside is that it gets a little bit at the higher end of PSI.

I’ve just received this pump and successfully tested it out on my large 10’8″ Red Paddle SUP. The rubber seals/washers came already attached to some of the different nozzles and I simply had to swap over the correct thickness one to the nozzle for my board and the fit/seal was perfect. I set the pressure to 1 bar which is the pressure I usually hand pump up to and it took approximately 7 minutes to fully inflate from start to finish. I also tested out the deflate function which also worked really well and made rolling-up really quick and simple. I’ve previously tried a cheaper electric pump which didn’t fit too well and also couldn’t really fully achieve the required pressure for my boards. Really happy with this pump and should have got one sooner!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWhen I initially received this item. I just put it in the car and went out to paddleboard. But when I used it the first time I couldn’t get the adaptors to fit my board. The smallest one was too small and the biggest one too big. So I failed to use it and had to hand pump. Which is awful. Anyway I went home and read the instruction manual and saw that there are three different pump washers. So I swapped the washers around and found the pump attachment fitted into my board with no leaks. I have a 10 ft 6″ board. It took about 5 min to pump up. To start with the pump is quiet running. But once the pressure builds up inside, the pump shifts up a gear and becomes a bit noisy. But great. Once you finish boarding. Switch the pump pipe over to the other side to deflate. It took about 1 minute to deflate. It totally emptied the air and I could fold it up lovely. There is no label on the pump on which port is inflate and which is deflate. But it is easy enough to see which is which by looking into the two holes. The deflate port has a white filter in it to prevent particles entering the pump and damaging it. The inflate port has no filter in the hole. If you are like me. You will forget which is which. But knowing this about the filter will help you remember which is which

On to the pump itself. I think it’s fair to say I had mixed feelings when ordering this pump as there are a fair few negative reviews mixed in with the positive ones.

However all I can say is the performance of this pump is nothing short of incredible. Super easy to use and pumped up our SUP in less than 2 minutes!

Only giving it 4 stars though as I’m not entirely sure how accurate the PSI reading is. Our SUP should be between 15-17 PSI but we stopped the pump at 10 PSI cos the SUP was rock solid by this point and a couple of other reviewers said theirs popped at higher PSI’s.

So far so good. I researched as much as I could and this came top so I bit the bullet. Yes it’s pricier than others on the market this inflated 2 boards to 15psi in no time at all. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

Really like this electric pump. Use it for my stand up paddle board and it does it with ease. The first few mins are very quiet as it gets the air going in. After that the volume increases but not to anything that I found uncomfortable getting into my wetsuit 4ft away. It’s very simple to use! Set the pressure you want and set it running. It cuts out when the pressure is reached. Perfect.

Perfect for inflating multiple SUP boards, did 3 to 18 psi with no over heating or problems. Pumped up the boards in roughly 6 mins each which is great. Would recommend

With the built in cooling fan underneath this is the best SUP pump ever.
Faster than all the previous pumps I’ve had as well.

Amazing pump! Inflated my paddle board to 15 PSI in approx 5 minutes without any strain. No need for any final ‘topping up’ with a manual pump to bring it to the required pressure. More expensive than the other pumps I considered, but well worth the money in terms of ease of use and efficiency. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersPretty impressed with this little pump. Does what it claims to do, nice design & just works with minimal fuss.

I plug it in to my car lighter socket, the power lead is long enough that I can get all around my boat without any issues. It comes with various adaptors, you can see them in one of the photos. The only issue I had was that the little plastic tabs on the adaptor I needed got in the way of my boat’s valve, but filed them off in 2 mins and it’s no problem.

To use the pump, you plug it in to a car lighter socket. Set the pressure (bar / PSI) connect the pump and push start. It will start off on a fast blower low pressure stage which inflates the boat really quick, then when it reaches max pressure for that it auto switches in to a high pressure (compressor type) pumping mode to get up to the desired pressure. Once pressure is reached it stops automatically. All this takes a couple of minutes a for the large boat tubes shown in the video. The pump can also deflate which makes it much easier to pack the boat away nice and compact. The floor of the boat is a high pressure air deck similar to a SUP that inflates to 15PSI and the shark pump had no problems with that. I used it on a very hot day for a few tests of inflating / deflating the boat, no problems with overheating, I think a lot of pumps would have overheated.

So all in all- it’s a good pump, just works with not a lot of fuss. Has all the adaptors you’re likley to need. And hasn’t given me any problems. Quick, efficient, just works. It would be nice if it came with a bag to keep it in but that’s the only addition I think it needs.

Great little pump. Works with no fuss.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis pump works well – took just less than 10 minutes for 19PSI. Ordered a different brand but had to send it back since it could not inflate the board. It took many internet searches to find the right product but the OutdooMaster worked perfectly.

Great pump for iSUP’s and took 10 minutes to pump up Red Paddle Ride 10’6 to 18PSI, better still you can just let it get on with pumping whilst you do other stuff.

Also completely removes air when finished which speeds up the packing process.

I got this pump for my partner and he absolutely love it! Pump is quiet and very efficient. Pumps race boards in no time and is so handy when you need to deflate your board as well! Product is woth every penny.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWell worth it. Looks cool. Nicely rounded so it fits in the bag with the SUP. Incredibly simple to use, big plus point is the deflate option. Quiet first phase pump, then second phase is slightly louder. Inflates my 12.6 voyager to 20 PSI in about 15 minutes

    Buy it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersExcellent pump. Well made with solid attachments and good power cord length. Inflates my two boards to 20psi in same session without overheat [10’6″ (250l) and 12’6″ (350l) boards]. I accidentally deflated the 12’6″ at one point and so it pretty much had to do the job twice. Very impressed. I have also used it to inflate airbeds to 1-2psi, so can attest to its ability to work across the pressure range. You can only set the target pressure in 0.5psi increments, but it displays 0.1psi increments when pumping.

Solid well made, reliable, easy to use for multiple boards

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWell, how easy is this pump to use. Plug it in, set the psi, sit back and relax while it does all the hard work for you. It stops when it reaches the correct psi. You can also pump up another paddleboard straight away, no problem. It doesn’t take long, roughly 7 minutes per paddleboard.

The other great thing about this pump is that it also sucks the air out, so at the end of a paddleboarding session, just plug it in, put it onto suck and it totally deflates your boards making it so easy to pop the board into the bag and zip up.

Although it was pricey, I must admit it is definitely money well spent. We can now sit back and watch others struggle as they attempt to inflate their paddleboards.

    Would highly recommend this.
