Not a bad shed but not without issues
I’m in the process of landscaping my back yard and wanted a shed for extra storage space, so I bought one of these while it was on offer. Arrived fine, no damage etc. Me and my 16 year old son put the bulk of it up within a few hours. Frame and side panels and central beam etc all went together super easy, though takes about 500 screws just the roof to go I thought, should only take about half hour haha yeah no. The roof is where it all started to go wrong the holes in the roof panels didn’t remotely match up with the metal frame and the central panel was about 30cm too long. With a bit of persistence we made it work though, instead of screwing in from the top, I screwed into the roof panels from below and then used the screw caps to ver the shar point, not perfect but it works for us and the roof is on pretty sturdy. Mind the brick in the photo it was just a precaution as we got strong winds right after finishing it.
The panels do feel flimsy until they are all screwed in place etc and the edges are sharp so do use the gloves included, I mean it is sheet metal so sharp edges are no surprise. It does have a plastic protective cover on all the panels when it arrives, a bit like cling film, a bit fiddly but quick once you work out a way to do it. I found it quite satisfying haha feels quite sturdy once up and has held its own during the 30mph winds of storm Ciaren. It comes with metal base frame for installing a floor but not the flooring, no issue as there’s loads of options available to buy. Mines currently sat on top of weed membrane which will do temporarily. Since mine is on the soil I had the idea to buy some decent metal tent pegs and use them to anchor the frame to the floor.
The instructions are beyond basic and so unclear but with some common sense it’s relatively easy to work out. Our door isn’t quite flush no idea why but it’s not too bad.
If buying this be realistic as to what you are getting , it definitely needs a minimum of two people to put together.it seems relatively dry when it rains and the water drains off the sloped roof well.
