Ottima pentola. L’ho usata per un risotto ai formaggi cucinata sul fuoco vivo. Pentola bella e robusta e il risultato stato ottimo. Da provare con la carne. Consigliatissimo.

Tolle Sache
Der Topf ist wirklich eine tolle Sache, man kann das Essen (bei uns Schichtfleisch) am Vormittag vorbereiten, am Nachmittag aufs Feuer stellen und abends , wenn die Gste kommen, ist alles fertig. Besonders gut finden wir, dass man nicht- wie beim Grillen- stndig daneben stehen muss. Und das Essen ist phantastisch, alle Gste sind begeistert und werden sich wohl jetzt auch so einen Topf zulegen. Unser Topf (Gre L) ist genau richtig fr 6 gute Esser.

I'm soooo loving this po
Decided that this winter’s project would be learning to cook properly over fire. Made a beef stew the day this got delivered. Made the mistake of not emptying hot food out of the pot & washing it straight away, as you should. Rusty lid the next morning ! A couple of books on cooking with a Dutch oven are helpful if, like us, you are new to dutch ovens. They guide you into the dark art of coal placement/temperature/care of your cast iron & will help you get more out of it. We got the big one. I think it’s about 12″ & it really is nice to use. Just love it.

Great product, well made and a good size for probably upto 4 people. The factory seasoning isn’t too great, but that’s easily rectified by doing it yourself in the oven.

Well this is just an absolutely amazing bit of kit. Had to try it in the back garden 1st as I was too eager to see the results but honestly outstanding. Very happy it doesn’t need as many coals as you’d think to hest it up so always use the correct amount but I will stand by this product 100%. Well done

Tenia muchas ganas de adquirir una olla para la brbacoa y el fuego directo,de momento,tras dos usos,todo perfecto, hemos hecho una caldereta e incluso palomitas, a fuego y brasas directa, seguimos previamente los consejos del fabricante y la pusimos un buen rato a calentar sin alimentos,y posteriormente la protegemos con aceite, despues de los dos usos,la hemos vuelto a proteger con aceite, editare si algo cambia en el futuro.

It’s everything I’d hoped it would be. Heavy, spacious and makes a great fire-pit oven. I use an oven thermometer in mine to help as a guide and I’ve successfully baked bread and cakes, made casseroles and roasts etc…
Ho valutato diversi prodotti per circa 2 settimane e alla fine ho optato per questo forno olandese, che user a casa (sui fornelli per stufati e simili, in forno prevalentemente per il pane) e in campeggio (sulle braci).
L’ho gi provato due volte, per fare un Irish stew e le lenticchie in umido.
La cottura perfetta e, tra l’altro, impressionante come si riducono i tempi di cottura.
C’ chi ha messo in dubbio le sue capacit antiaderenti: avevo qualche dubbio pure io ma per fortuna devo ricredermi.
Mi avevano terrorizzato alcune recensioni di certi clienti che, nonostante i vari accorgimenti, avevano trovato ruggine dopo i primi utilizzi.
Io ho seguito le facili istruzioni del costruttore, allegate alla confezione, e la ruggine non si formata.
In realt basta solo lavare e asciugare bene dopo l’uso e spalmare un filo d’olio. Facilissimo.
Per ora sono pienamente soddisfatto dell’acquisto. Mi mancano da provare la cottura del pane ( uno dei principali motivi per cui ho preso il forno olandese) e la cottura sulle braci.

Great quality
The pot was a decent size but there would be and advantage to having the bigger size as I think I should have. But excellent quality and ready to go out the box and easy to clean. We have been using this over the fire pit just fine.
Absolute top end quality heavy , sturdy and for us campers , can take a good fekin bang , would highly recommend, good overall cooking outcome whatever you make
Bought both the small (6quart = 8 inches) and large (9quart = 10 inches) pot. After seasoning, they are properly non-stick and a delight to cook in. Quite heavy – to be expected from cast iron. Was worried that the quality might not be great, but no issues whatsoever!

Jai attendu quasi un an et de le tester beaucoup pour donner mon avis, et cest juste mon meilleur compagnon de vanlife ! Je m’en suis servi sur de nombreux feux de camps, sur trpied ou directement dans le feu. Il cuit super bien la chaleur est repartie comme il faut. Ne rouille pas du tout si l’on en prend soin, cest dire: le nettoyer, secher et huiler apres chaque utilisation 🙂 il est comme neuf depuis tout ce temps et je l’adore ! Bon investisseme
Great product you must season it with oil I watched loads of videos on this so easy to do first thing I made was bread and which was not the best because the fire needed to be low but on the same day beef stew wow can’t wait to use on other cooks

Good value for money – probably could do with another season, cooked a chili and was impressed how the cast iron kept hot with very few coals. Looking forward to using this often in the coming year/s.
Would have given 5 stars but the lid has turned rusty after one use.
Nice pot wrong spelling
Spelling error on front “OVERMNOT” makes my pot unique. Pot has a small rust spot on front. Apart from that it looks great, is heavy and well made. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to using it.

Heavy cast iro
A good, heavy pot that transmits the heat well. Have now left it to rust a little and see how well it takes a re seasoning. We will be posting the video on the YouTube channel.

2ND BEST POT
Just used it for the first time today to make one pot sausage stew. on a gas stove. Cooked well, retained heat even after we dished up it was still warm enough for seconds lol. My son said it reminded him of my potjie cooking. Perfect companion to any Baby Bush potjie po
After watching videos on YouTube I decided to buy this item, as you can cook a variety of things in the Dutch oven. We have had roast beef and roasties and a casserole so far. The only downside is that it is very heavy and tricky to clean in my kitchen sink. Do to the weight and size of it, I don’t want to scratch my sink.

If you like to bbq or you want to use cast iron, this is what you should get. The value is very good and is very versatile to use considering the lid that can be used as skillet itself. Of course is not so easy to clean and to store because is made with cast iron, bit definitevely is a very good piece to have in the kitchen.

I have used this when camping and cooked large roast chickens in it and baked some damper bread and it has produced excellent results. I would recommend seasoning it even though they are supposed to come pre seasoned. but so far it has been well worth the purchase.
Really good quality
Good quality, which of course makes it heavy. The lid seems almost as heavy as the pot but the lifter works well. I highly recommend it.

I’m a massive fan of outdoor cooking and bbqs. Spotted this dutch oven on a few youtube videos and thought I’d give it a go!
I wasn’t disappointed. . .
What’s in the box?
– The cast iron pot with three legs and a steel handle which is 6.3 litres
– The cast iron lid also with three legs which is 2.5 litres
– A lid lifter
The whole thing is heavy at 6.2 kgs.
Manufacturing quality is excellent
The pot is big enough to cook food for 5 to 8 people. The steel handle is easily strong enough to hang this beast over a fire.
The lid has three legs on it’s top so flipped over it can also be used to cook in! Particularly for frying sausages, bacon, eggs etc.
I used it for this review to make pulled pork outside in my garden.

We added all the ingredients basically vegetables – apple juice – marinated pork shoulder then stood it over 2kg of bbq charcoals.
We left it there for three hours and the smell was incredible after only a few minutes, being cast iron It came upto temperature pretty quickly.
After three hours the pork was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender and easy to shred. We blended the dissolved veg and stock from the pot into a bbq gravy.
Everything was absolutely spot on and delicious
I cleaned the pot&lid and oiled it all. Patted dry with kitchen towel and it was as good as new!
I love this dutch oven and can definitely see it being used a lot over the years.

I have used this pot three times now on the BBQ and it has cooked to perfection. You have to clean
It straight away so food does not get stuck on but that’s no real problem. I only use hot water to clean it then after the third use I oiled and seasoned it. I’m sure it would have gone longer before being re seasoned but I’m trying to take extra care of it.

It’s big, it’s heavy, it has all the features you want from a cast iron cooking pot. If you’ve not used raw cast iron pots before, it is worth re-seasoning the pots before using them and DO NOT use washing up liquid when cleaning them. The change in cleaning habits is why it scores lower for cleaning, not because they don’t clean well.
By and large, I’m very happy with this. 🙂
This was bought to cook on our campfire in the garden and take on holiday. We’ve cooked with it three times so far, a stew and two chillies.
We’ve been really impressed with our meals, lots of flavour kept in by the heavy cast iron.
Cooking times on the campfire have actually been quicker than the indoor oven.
The pot is really heavy, good quality cast iron and looks like it’ll last a lifetime.
Only tiny downside is the stainless steel wire handle, it’s strong enough but feels slightly flimsy in comparison to the pot. Should last a good few years though and wouldn’t be too difficult to sort.
Overall we’re impressed, we’ve been moving over to cast iron pots and pans for our kitchen for a while now and this also fits in our AGA oven.
It’s worth the money given it’ll probably outlive me!

Product looks excellent quality and good price, but was packed so badly by amazon that it arrived broken and had to be returned (an epic in itself). Will re-buy as I have amazon gift vouchers to spend, otherwise I’d try to buy straight from the manufacturer…

Be careful at the dimensions is very large 8.8L but I like it. It’s Fabulous . I did my first bread home made and one ward: Perfect!
