Yes please……First time parents !!!
8 weeks review. So I Have to say after staying awake most of the 1st night after my daughter being out of hospital to check if she was still breathing, this device was a god send, haven’t really had any issues Only a few miss placement notifications.
100% extra peace of mind to allow me to sleep easier at night and enjoy the morning where she can drift In and out of sleep quite easily. Thank you owl let for a great device. Worth every penny and more.
Helps us sleep
This helped us get sleep during the early days. Got rid of the urge to constantly check the baby is ok whilst asleep in the cot.
We also had a “High heart rate” alarm which was a genuine emergency and helped us get help sooner!
5.0 out of 5 stars So good.
I really like this product. It helps me sleep knowing it will wake me if my baby needs me.
Perfect for a new baby
This owlet sock takes away the worry as a parent and for this is worth every penny. Easy setup and good user experience overall.
Please improve the app; making it better for a iPad.
Peace of mind
We were thrilled to receive these smart socks from Owlet, They came very well packaged and presented. The socks monitor your baby’s heart rate, oxygen levels and sleep patterns. It can be set up to alert you if anything is abnormal…massive relief for us first time parents! The fact you can use them all the way up to 5 years of age is fantastic! All very simple to set up and monitor in the app. Very happy and recommended to others.
Amazing product.
This sock makes my life smoother and easier. It wasn’t very easy to set it up, o couldn’t connect with the wi-fi but husband fiz it for me. App is very easy to use. Monitor is very accurate, I can monitor her heart rate, oxygen levels and her sleep. If anything starts going “wrong” with her the app send notifications. Comfortable and soft material. Battery charges very fast and lasts almost 2 days.
Peace of mind
This is a very well specified and technical baby monitoring system. It basically monitors your child’s vitals via a wearable ‘sock’ which constantly records information and then relays it back to the user via the app. The sock itself is comfortable and adjustable and is charged via a dedicated docking station. The App is well designed and intuitive to use and the warnings and notifications are clear and concise.
It is a premium and expensive product, but it is fully loaded and gives real assurance to you as a parent that it is monitoring you child effectively.
A really clever design , it gives peace of mind, socks are soft and comfortable looking
This is a really good idea and really useful for babies that have medical conditions, breathing problems, high colic, asthma and other medical conditions to help keep close track of your babies oxygen levels , heart rate and sleep patterns all through the readings from a comfortable sock that is soft and comfortable and doesn’t bother a baby one bit as they are very easy to fit , feel super soft and you get a number of socks to change as your baby grows , so the owlet Smart Sock Plus can be used as your baby grows.
It does seem a tad expensive for providing data that cheaper devices can provide , as in smart watches, fitness trackers , but everything does seem well made and I’m sure there is technology built in that must justify the high price tag.
The Smart Sock technology and alert system will give you peace of mind and alert you of any sudden changes in oxygen, heart rate or your baby being unsettled in the night, especially with Ill babies with certain medical conditions, but it’s also great to use as a general baby monitor, you need to pair it with your home WiFi and phone to get the absolute best from the device to analyse data and analytics and other things.
It’s definitely a good device to provide peace of mind for nervous parents or to monitor health conditions and to be alerted quickly if needed.
It gives you more in-depth information than what using just a baby monitor camera and sound monitor would give you so you definitely know if something is bothering your baby which is excellent, so this type of device will definitely appeal to parents with babies susceptible to breathing problems, heart problems to keep a close eye on them for peace of mind.
It’s well made and interactive and the socks are comfortable and easy to put on, change.
But it’s quite expensive but it could prove invaluable to some people, overall its a very clever design and a useful baby monitor.
No good for the traveling parents as Wi-Fi is required.
First impressions when opening the box is very good, the quality and the attention to detail in the packaging is very impressive you do feel like you are opening something special.
That is where the experience starts do go bad, no instructions other than a card to say download this app (no QR code to make this process easier). You need to register (no idea why they need my mobile or date of birth for this device). The email to register will more than likely go into your junk folder so check that. Once they have confirmed you are who you say you are you then enter the set up for your child, age, weight, gender etc (you can even add a picture if you like).
Then its just a case of following the instructions.
Then comes setting up the sock, the sock and your phone need to be on the same Wi-Fi network, you need connect the base unit to your Wi-Fi network and this is where I hit my roadblock. The base unit was powered up and even played music at one point. There were no instructions on how to connect or what colours you should have on the base station. This took some time and several attempts, I moved right next to my router which seemed to work. Now once connected to the Wi-Fi you need to register the base station to the app (this even says it “can require multiple attempts”!!!).
This is where clear instructions would come in useful, hold down the button on the bottom of the base station till you get too beeps, what you get is you get a bleep bleep then after a few seconds a beep beep. Then you need to pair the sock with the base station which was the easy bit.
The fact your phone and the base unit need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi means this is no good for the traveling parents.
The sock feels very soft to the touch and I’m going to try on my 3-year-old for a few nights and update my review when I have tested on a child.
The build quality and the design are of high quality I can’t fault the build or the design, however the question is does the price for what a Fitbit is basically, warrant the high price tag. As a parent with so many other costs I don’t see this being high on my priority
Good gadget for piece of mind
This item is just great for piece of mind. It’s easy to use, mostly easy to put on baby (unless you have a kicking fight on your hands) and monitors everything you have a concern over whilst they’re sleeping. How well it stays on is one thing as sometimes your little wriggle monster may be able to push it off, causing the alarm to sound. Personally I would rather have the reassurance that it’s there and know that if it goes off it could be nothing, but also could be life saving.
The battery life is absolutely fine and it has a wireless charging dock for ease. I tend to charge it every day, but that’s because I don’t want it giving up in the middle of the night.
Each sock provided of different sizes has the same monitor which is helpful and easy to change over, although I’m not sure all toddlers or older children would be happy to go to bed with it on without a fight. There are probably parents out there that actually really need to monitor these vitals for medical purposes, so I expect for them this is fantastic.
It only comes in one colour, but I personally like it, and think it’s nice and neutral/unisex.
The price does seem a little excessive, however at the same time if this lasts as long as it’s suppose to you’re paying 340 to cover monitoring for 5 years, which doesn’t seem as bad.
I hope this helps with your purchase
Fantastic product - perfect but for the price
The Owlet Smart Sock is easy to review but hard to ultimately recommend at the price. I think it is a great idea and gives parents peace of mind. There are plenty of horror stories of infant cot deaths. Deaths that are unpredictable and not well understood. There are countless other health and developmental issue that I can see driving a parent to want a device like this. Being able to monitor aspects of your child’s vitals is very valuable. It could literally be a life saver. The issue is whether this product is worth its price regardless of the use case. Is the underlying tech worth the asking price?
The device itself is well made and easy to setup. The system comes with an add-on pack that allows you to use the smart sock on children up to 5 years of age. It’s basically a bunch of extra different sized socks to put the monitor into. My 4-year-old is never going to keep this on his foot overnight and didn’t when I tried to test it with him. I think I would have to sneak in once he falls asleep and strap it on him then. 😉 However, I appreciate that such an able bodied and active child is probably not the target demographic. For younger children this is perfectly suitable. I’ve also tested this with a ~6 month old. Wireless charging is also a great addition but something that you should expect at this price.
The app is well made and easy to use. It worked fine for me. I am aware of some that have had connectivity issue and problems getting notifications. I did not experience these issues. Hopefully, things will continue to run smoothly on this front. I’ll update the review if I start to encounter any issues.
My final rating is that it is a fantastic product. I can see plenty of use cases where this is ideal. I can see this being an absolute necessity to certain parents / parents of certain children. And it is impossible to add a monetary value to the peace of mind it would give those parents. However, I can give a monetary value to the tech inside the hardware. I can give a monetary value to the app development. I can give a monetary value to the backend server infrastructure required to support the system (users and notifications etc.). I’m just not yet up to the price that is being asked for it. I expect a bit of a premium due to the use case. I just think it is a little overpriced. I’ve gone for four stars as it is really good other than the price.
No instructions included, you’re left to track them down yourself.
A smart sock baby monitor, that monitors a baby’s heart rate, sleeping trends and oxygen levels.
The set comes with a charger disc and three sizes of sock bandages, to fit the monitor to the baby’s foot. It also has USB C charging and a UK and continental style slot together mains plug, but no instruction book, you have to source this out on the internet, so if you don’t have internet, you’re stuck. They could have at least included a quick guide, seeing how much you have just paid out for this device.
When I tried typing in the the web address to get the instructions, I was met with a notice that the page could not be found, what a great start, if I’d have paid 340 I’d have sent it straight back at this point. But let’s carry on, seeing as I’m reviewing the device. This was the America site, I transferred over to the UK site, and no instructions there either.
Let’s try the UK support web page, still nothing, in fact I search the whole of their web site and no mention of a user guide. I did find a troubleshooting guide on the US site, but still nothing that I would call a basic instruction and set up guide.
I then did a web search and found it, unfortunately I cannot put a link here, as it’s against amazons rules reference reviews.
I then downloaded the app, to see if maybe there is a set of instructions on there, but of course first thing you have to do is register for an account, and as I got this for my son and his new daughter, I don’t want to register it to me, in case that causes problems when I hand it over to him, ie do I have to de-register it, for him then to be able to register it in his name, again a set of instructions would have helped.
But now I have the user guide, I can take you through the set up and how it works.
“The sock sensor uses pulse oximetry to get readings from your baby’s foot while they sleep. A small red light shines through the skin and the amount
of blood flow and oxygen levels are estimated based on how much light is transmitted to the sensor.
The sock sensor collects the data and sends it to the base station.
The base station notifies you, as needed, based on the data sent from the sock. The base station is your primary notification device, in the event of a red notification and as such should be placed in a location where you can hear it, if it sounds the alarm.
To use LAN mode, your phone must be on the same Wi-Fi connection as your Base Station. Using Wi-Fi, the app establishes an initial connection to the Owlet cloud and will deliver data to the app, as long as the app is not closed and the Wi-Fi connection does not change on the app or Base Station.
The Owlet smart sock requires access to an iOS or Android device, with
the Owlet Care App downloaded; minimum OS versions apply, see app stores for details.
The Smart Sock works on baby’s up to a maximum of 30 lbs, this is very important.
A 2.4 GHz wireless internet connection is required for live readings in the Owlet app, remote access to the app and some app features. HotSpot WiFi and 5 GHz are not supported, so you may have to turn off your 5GHz on your home hub, until you have made a connection during set up, then once connected, you can switch your 5GHz back on. It’s much the same with all smart devices, ie smart bulbs etc”.
Once you have installed the app, follow the instructions on screen and register the device. Once you have paired the device to the base station, place the sock transmitter onto the base station to charge it, the base station will pulse white to show its charging. If the sock needs updating, it will carry this out now, so leave it connected until this has finished.
A full charge takes 90 min, and this will give you a 16 hour battery life.
You get 3 sock sizes, and it’s important to use the correct size as per your baby’s weight. Size one is up to 12lb, size two from 12lb – 30lb and size 3 from 30lb – 55lb, and you get a left and right sock for each size.
The instructions take you though the fitting of the sock on baby’s foot, as certain parts have to line up to get the correct fit, so the device can take correct readings.
The base station communicates via different coloured lights:-
Bouncing green: It’s updating its readings.
Pulsing green: The readings are within the normal range.
Flashing blue: The sock is out of range of the base station, the battery is depleted, or the signal is being blocked.
Flashing yellow: The sock is improperly placed on the foot, or has fallen off.
Flashing red: The heart rate or oxygen levels are outside of the preset range.
Pulsing white: The sock is charging.
White: The sock is fully charged.
Bouncing white: The sock is not paired.
To switch the sensor off, ie to stop it glowing red, remove the sensor from the base station, and disconnect the USB cable. Then press and hold the base station button, while re-inserting the USB cable, hold the base station button until light glows orange and you hear 4 beeps. Then tap the button once and the light in the sock will turn off. To turn the Sock back on, place the sensor back into the base station charging port.
The sock can be hand washed with a mild detergent and air dried. Frequent washing is recommended, to not cause a rash on baby’s foot.
Once we got over the initial problems of no instructions, the set up was pretty easy, it was a bit touch and go setting the sock setup on my granddaughter, as she’s 6 months and not used to it, but once you line up the notch with the little toe, as the instructions state, we got there in the end.
I will update as we go along, and let you know of any problems we encounter.
Get a good night's sleep!
Piece of mind!! I am a mother of two young children. My oldest is now 3 but prior to his I experienced a miscarriage, so when I got pregnant again the Owlet was one of my first purchases. I used an older version of the sock with him until he was 18 months. I love the updates to this new Owlet sock. The design of the sock itself has a much better snug fit. I like to put my baby in footed pj’s to also ensure it doesn’t come off. I also like the smaller design of the unit itself. The old version would light up my entire bedroom and sometimes would affect my sleep. This version is much smaller so it is much more tolerable in a dark room. The Owlet is a must buy product for me. It allowed me to sleep peacefully.. or as peacefully as possible with a newborn, without having to worry if my baby was breathing or not. I love that it comes with all 3 sizes for the sock and that you don’t have to purchase those separately. Anytime a new mom asks me for baby “must haves,” the Owlet is alway the first product I recommend.
For when you need extra reassurance
We bought the owlet sock after our 8 month old stopped breathing and collapsed shortly after waking up in the morning and I needed to give her CPR.
Although she’s been given the all clear with no underlying medical issues, we wanted to be able to immediately respond if it ever happened again, especially whilst she sleeps.
So far the owlet has given us exactly that:
Setup was relatively straightforward although there were some issues pairing the sock to the station and assigning them. The online chat was helpful in sorting this.
The sock comes in two sizes and can be worn on either feet (total of 4 socks) up to around 18 months of age. There is only one sensor that is swapped out between the various socks. Fitting the sock is actually very straightforward without much fussing.
Readings are relatively accurate and matched the SATS and HR we saw in the hospital stay. That said it’s almost impossible to do a direct comparison unless you have medically certified equipment to hand to verify.
The base station and application respond quickly enough to change in circumstances (e.g. loss of signal, movement, drop in metrics). So far we’ve had no false positives but our greater concern is false negatives which again are harder to verify.
The sleep log is a clever bit of algorithms combined with readings and on review is a generally good indicator of how well or poorly your little one sleeps.
Overall very impressed and pleased with the kit. For the average parent and child with no underlying issues i wouldn’t think it all that useful (if anything, more anxiety inducing for all parties). For those who have serious concerns and are actually soothed by the metrics it delivers then I’d highly recommend.
Fantastic bit of ki
Possibly the best thing I’ve purchased. I can’t even guess the amount of extra sleep we’ve had knowing this Awsome product is keeping an eye our little one.
Such a relief to have!
I had a difficult time with my first baby, she was a happy wee thing but seemed to get poorly a lot. It culminated in a month of hospital visits and there is no doubt in my mind that medical professionals were dismissing my concerns as nothing more than new mum worries and given my daighter’s track record added to that. This product was recommended to me by a friend when I had my baby boy and what a difference it has made to my wellbeing! Happily my son has not been half as unwell as his sister but thanks to this, I have data I can reference when talking to professionals and most importantly (I think anyway) I can reassure myself that just because he’s a bit grumbly doesn’t mean anything to worry about. The sock takes a bit of practice getting into the right position, but once its on its grand. My one criticism is that the alerts can be shrill and annoying, but better that than worrying.

Useful for anxious parents
UPDATED AFTER 2 MONTHS OF USE
I purchased the owlet prior to the birth of my Son. I was worried that I’d be unable to sleep, worried about his breathing. The owlet has been great to help reduce that worry. We use it every night and at nap times if I’m also wanting to sleep. The battery lasts a long time (around 16 hours) and charges quickly. It is easy to set up and relies on home WiFi. I even took it on a recent hotel stay and it took 1 minute to set up.
The only area I think it lacks is the analytics you can see the next morning. The sleep graph often shows sleep when I know my son was awake or vice-versa. Also, the graphs only show 10 minute blocks. The sock captures data constantly so It would be good to be able to see all the data.
I know other reviews have mentioned the base station giving false alerts, but we haven’t had any.
Pros:
– Good fit of sock
– Easy set up with home wifi
– Good battery life
– Peace of mind
Cons:
– Expensive
– App analytics and navigation could be improved

Great product, gives re assurance and to know baby is well and safe. Sock is great alternative to having a pad under the baby cot to measure breathing etc. Loving it!
Overall, a great product which I trus
Battery life is good. It hasn’t ran out of battery during the night which is the main thing, but I put it on charge all day long, and have not yet tested how long the battery lasts when I don’t charge it. In regards to accuracy, the oxygen levels and heart rate are very accurate, however the sleep accuracy isn’t great. It has logged that my baby has been asleep for quite a while when she wasn’t. The sock itself is very soft, gentle and secure, and hasn’t ever come off or needed adjusting, even on my wriggly baby! I will add, that the sock gets dirty very quickly (see my photo) and needs washing regularly. Being on their foot means it starts to smell sweaty very quickly, but you are able to wash all parts of the sock to keep it nice and fresh. The set up of the product was fairly easy, and I loved that there is not a bulky confusing instruction manual to read through, instead it’s all done through the app. In terms of value for money, it’s quite a pricey product, but I do trust it. I trust that if my baby is ever in danger during the night that I will be alerted, so it does mean I can sleep soundly at night.

A must have
We have had quite a poorly newborn with RsV Bronchiolitis and a few weeks later covid- both requiring hospitalisation and oxygen. This product gave me such peace of mind when she was asleep that she was ok.
I found the app easy to use and when there were issues with sock placement and connectivity they were easily rectified.
I wouldn’t be without one now
Not Necessary but Interesting to use
We got this before our baby arrived. When we got him home it was difficult to fit on a small newborn, so we left for a week or so and he got use to it. Need to ensure good fit as the alarms scare you to death. Some red marks but putting on secure as wriggly. Hoping will be of more use as we go on. A level of reassurance but be confident with technology and don’t panic about the readings. Very expensive for what it is but appreciate the technology inside. Make sure you have good WiFi !
Don’t feel it’s worth the money
Battery life is about 16hours which is great, however when taken off the foot and not out straight into the charger it alarms constantly.
The sensor has to be on quite tight to the foot which I’ve found can cause pressure marks round the ankle and in the bottom of the foot so I only use at night as I don’t want to risk prolonged pressure.
The app is good – it breaks down awake & asleep time and how long for. However you can only access when at home with the base – so you can’t check if you are out and about.
I feel it’s very expensive for what it does – there must be cheaper alternatives.

Definitely recommend for peace of mind
This has given me so much peace of mind, it is expensive but baby is now 3 months and I feel it has been good value for money so if I continue to use it for another year then it will be even better. I worked out the price per week if I was to use it for 18 months and it is well worth it.
Battery life is good, you get a full night and then some for days when baby hasn’t been very well so I’ve wanted to leave it on longer. Then it charges quite fast ready for the next night. I find the accuracy is good, it’s only alerted me once and I had already phoned the doctor an hour before as I was worried about baby not being well so this just affirmed it for me. It doesn’t replace common sense, if you are worried about baby being unwell then you should get him or her checked. But it does allow me to sleep knowing it will alert if baby needs urgent attention.
Very accurate
My son was 14 weeks premature and has chronic lung disease. He has had several hospital stays and needed to go back on oxygen since we brought him home, so I finally bought one of these for peace of mind. I put it on him while connected to the hospital sats monitor and was surprised how accurate it is. I was a bit sceptical before.
Good produc
I was able to wake up to sleep peacefully at night. I am very pleased
Love it!
I love the fact that you can check your babys stats in a few seconds, it also tells you if they are awake and wriggling. I sleep a lot better at night knowing that it will alert me if there is anything wrong!

Almost perfec
So first I need to say that I’m a tech geek. Any stats I can get out of myself for anything I do are a big winner. So when this product popped along I just had to get it. We have a 8 month old girl who follows a specific sleep routing and sleeps really well because of it – I wanted to see whether there was any correlation between moods in the day vs sleep at night – as well as keep on top of my girls health – which is where this product fits perfect for me.
I love the idea of the night stand for this, and also the setup is relatively straightforward, although it could be simpler. Basically you have to first connect to the base station with your mobile, then connect it to Wifi and then setup your childs details- some of which I feel are over the top and should just be simplified. Overall though, about 5 minutes to get it setup and ready for use. For those non-tech savvy, I’d allow for a little longer.
Placing on the foot of the child is a fine art in itself. Not because of the product as I find that holds up really well but, have you ever tried to keep a childs foot from moving while trying to fasten straps? Picture putting on a pair of sandals and it’s the same process! Once it’s on the foot – rock solid and it’s definitely not being flicked off.
The stats are great, you get oxygen level, heart rate and also the amount of time your child moves around of an evening. It’s great to see that some nights our daughter is sleeping through, 10+ hours of growing time. Others it’s more patchy – that makes it easier for us to see what the differences are, in most cases it’s food the day prior!
Overall, really happy with the Owlet. There are without doubt room for improvements although for me most of them are software related, the areas for improvement are:
– Notifications – We often feed our daughter in a different room (outside of range) to where she sleeps, I put the foot pod on immediately before feed time and that often means we get notifications until feeding is finished because it falls out of range. Simple solution is to power off the base unit until bed time – satisfactory but it’d be better to do it at a software level.
– Setup could be simpler. It feels less refined at the minute but I expect it’ll get better as they start to get feedback.
– In-App Navigation – whilst it works a treat, it feels difficult to navigate to areas you need to view. Nothing major and I always get there with it, but it could be a simpler interface in my opinion.
Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It’s a very very well made product which performs really well and gives great insight into your child that you’ll get from nowhere else.
Good for peace of mind
I’ve seen this product appearing more and more on my social media and I love a gadget so was keen to try it. Yes it is quite pricey but the peace of mind it brings makes up for that. Everything is beautifully packaged and very easy to set up. I like that you get several different sock sizes so that it can grow with your child. I can’t say if it is comfortable to wear as I’m not the one wearing it but it doesn’t seem to bother my little one. The socks are lovely and soft and the velcro seems pretty secure. We have only had yellow alerts (thankfully) usually due to wriggling and I really like that rather than a shrill, upsetting alarm sound it plays hush little baby. It’s loud enough to get your attention but not a scary sound. I regularly look at the graphs in the app to see how baby has slept and I’ve found it quite interesting. I also like the little information bits about my baby’s development in the guide section of the app.
The battery life is brilliant and it charges very quickly. The app is very easy to use and I like that it is personalised with your baby’s information.
Overall a very good product. I will definitely continue to use it as my little one grows. I’m sure that it will become more important once they are in their own room too.
Helps give peace of mind
At first I really struggled with seeing this up on my phone and with the wifi. It just wouldn’t accept it and sync with the device. It took us a couple of hours to get right.
Once sorted though I was happy to see it working and picking up the heart rate and oxygen levels, this does give peace of mind knowing that you can check your phone every few minutes.
Worrying for me was we removed the sock to see how long until the alarm went off and it did take quite awhile to go off.
Otherwise socks nice and soft and fit well.
I originally didn’t think we would be using the Owlet sock much and for the first 3 weeks or so we didn’t use it at all.
However, our little one had a bad case of silent reflux which resulted in a lot of throat discomfort and breathlessness periods in the early days and then later in coughing fits once he had developed some defence mechanisms.
The Owlet sock has let both of us sleep about 15% more because on the days when his breathing sounds odd or laboured, I’m able to check the owlet data to make sure it’s just a strange noise rather than something affecting his oxygen levels. This means I’m able to fall asleep and I don’t wake him up to change his position either so double win!
There are a couple of negative points however:
+ You can’t get readings from the sock without the base station. This means that if your wi-fi is down or more importantly, if you’re out of the house, the sock is unusable. This is the biggest downside for me because the position that babies are in when they are in car seats is constricting to the chest area so it would be particularly useful on car journeys, especially longer ones.
+ If your baby is a wriggler, likes to grab his feet or generally rub them together, you’re going to get a bunch of ‘false’ warnings from the base station because the sock is moved out of place – the most annoying part about this is that the notification from the base station is loud enough to wake up the baby!
+ The base station wasn’t super obvious to set up but I messaged customer service over the chat in the app and they helped straight away.
For us, the peace of mind was ultimately very much worth the hefty price tag. But if we’d had a baby with no reflux/breathing issues, I probably would have used it for a couple of days and then forgotten about it.
Certainly for the over worried parent, but works well, after a week In nicu due to respiratory distress, it was really nice to have this on each night to give peace of mind.

Out little boy was taken off to ICU hours after birth with dropping oxygen levels. He wasn’t in there all that long (10 days) but if left my partner understandably anxious. This was particularly bad at night. We agonised for a while whether this would be worth the money….well would you pay 279 for a “good” (relatively speaking) night’s sleep with a new born??
I still believe this device has an incredibly small impact on chances of SIDS, but the psychological advantage to my partner knowing something was there monitoring his oxygen made that irrelevant.
The app is very well put together, the device seems very accurate (although I guess I’ve no medical o2 monitor to compare!). The battery life is great, the different alarms are great so you don’t panic if it’s a device issue.
It’s surprisingly easy to place on the baby, even when wriggling and it really doesn’t seem to bother out little guy at all.
Money well spent, especially if you have a little extra newborn anxiety!

Yes bit naughty how expensive it is because people like me will buy it!
However best thing I’ve brought, great for piece of mind my little one is used to wearing it and doesn’t bother her, battery lasts for a good 18hrs and charges quite quickly, and absolutely the best thing about it is, if your WiFi is down it still works, twice now I have been without WiFi and all that doesn’t work is the app.
I bought this for my daughter so the feedback I can provide is as a buyer but not the user of the product. My daughter recently gave birth to her first child. She was feeling anxious about the baby’s vital signs, so I bought this product for her. It arrived as advertised (within 2 days) and she immediately started using it. It has given her peac of mind and seems thoroughly satisfied and happy with the product.
Great bit of kit, fairly straight forward to set up with the app. Battery life seems good 3 weeks in, just put on charge during day.
Give you that extra piece of mind, would recommend to anybody if they can afford it.

Great purchase, quite an investment but worth every penny
Got this to put our minds at ease during the first few days after our daughter was born. It was a godsend. It really helps especially in the first few days while you are still adjusting by letting you know your little one is ok and you can relax

Great produc
Great product and brilliant for peace of mind. Defiantly worth the money.
Peace of mind at nigh
Expensive but worth it for the peace of mind. Accurate
All good so far. We bought this for a peace of mind. Depends on your baby, our child is a wriggler so have moved the sock out of position a few times and the base alarms- shows it works but also can be frightening. We are still checking our child’s breathing through the night however less with the Owlet on so getting a better night’s sleep as new parents. It is an expensive item but worth it for a bit of security. You can never 100% trust technology so we’re not overly hung up with the stats unless if there are anything out of the ordinary. All depends on the main reason you personally want to purchase this type of monitor for.
Currently having problems with the sleep/awake markers and the tech support have been responding so hopefully will be sorted soon.
Must have for newborns
Great reassurance for new parents – especially those whose newborns are premature!
Reassurance factor outweighs cos
Super reassuring – bit super expensive!
I’d still buy again, dispite the hefty price tag.
