Value for money
Unit feels better quality than I thought it would considering the price. The body is made of plastic and the hand grips are formed with a grippy material. The unit fits the hand nicely and is ergonomically designed. It is easy to use and registers distances quickly it even works well with shaky hands. It comes complete with carry handle that you attach to the device and a case with magnetic lid to carry it in.
It is most welcome that we are able to purchase what seems to be a decent range finder for the price.

Great Range Finder!
So I spent a long time looking at the premium range finders which are all 200+ and realised that the features are exactly the same (they tell you a distance with +/- 0.5yds accuracy).
A number of golf reviewers/youtubers recommended this and several use it themselves and after 2 rounds of golf I can tell you why!
Great quality and feels sturdy that should last (time will tell). Battery included as described and the pouch was a lot better than I though. strong, water resistant material and the magnet is nice and strong keeping it shut.
Very simple to switch between slope and non slope (competition).
The Battery life seems good, has not gone down since using it but heard it will go 12+ rounds of heavy use before needing a replacement, will probably buy a rechargeable battery to use.
When you “ping” a target you get a distance in approx 1 second which is pretty much instant if you think about a 4 hour round of golf ha!
It locks onto flags really well and you get a nice target cross on the screen to aim at the flag or object.
The ONLY thing you will notice when first using it is that the power button is the “fire” button so the first 2-3 times I tried it out I did end up turning it off instead of firing the “laser”. You have to give a firm 1 second press to fire at the target, yes I got used to it very quickly and now I never turn it off.
If you need a range finder and your bank account is not full up, this is perfect for 99% of golfers!

I lost my Nikon view finder that had cost 300 a few years ago. Didnt want to spend that amount again. The reviews on this seemed ok so I decided to chance it. It is better than the Nikon. Accurate , has a slope compensator (which is easy to disengage). Occasionally Ive switched to metres vs yards but this has been down to my clumsiness vs the unit.

Great value golf range finder.
What’s good: as accurate as more expensive makes, easy to lock onto flags, vibrates when target found, robust holder included and looks great.
Not so good: the control buttons are close together so you can slip into meters without you realising straight away. Overall though, a really good buy.

Accurate and reliable but very difficult to keep it steady on flags over 170 yards. “Flag lock” is a misnomer.
Good value for money
My boyfriend loves this. The course he plays is very hilly and this is much more accurate than his garmin. Got it for Christmas but have it to him early as a thank you for leaving the loo seat down . Now he leaves me in peace and plays other courses he’s not familiar with and uses the viewer every time. Great purchase!

What do you buy a golf obsessed middle aged man who already has so much golfing equipment. I didn’t even know that these distance range scopes existed until I read about them online in the forums. There are so much choice but ultimately it is a balance between cost and function and this one seems to fulfil both criteria amicably. This model uses a CR2 battery (included). It is easy to use and interpret the distance. Not 100% sure it will improve my friend’s golfing handicap but I’m sure he’ll appreciate it.
Good for a newbie
I’m quite new to golf , hcap 23 so I didn’t exactly need perfect accuracy , but it is pretty good and has helped my game! Have stood beside a good player using an expensive one and it’s within a yard or two of his device. Unless you’re tiger, this is a very reasonable and functional purchase.

Laser Rangefinde
This product is a good value item, I bought it to replace an early model which got damaged. I have only one niggle with this one is that in the wind it was hard to keep the targeting steady as the magnification is strong, if you have steady hands then this is an excellent buy.

I bought this to use along with my GPS watch for when I needed to flag yardage and to be honest I very seldom look at my watch now, ( only when I can’t see the flag ) , my playing partner has a bushnell and mine is always within 3 yards of him but a lot of the time the exact same, I know my yardages give or take 10 yards so I’m more than happy with a rangefinder that can be only 3yards ou
Disappointed
This is a fantastic device. Accurate and easy to use. The only down side was the casing.
Like most view finders there was a bit of wobble do I purchased a monopod as well to help with stability. It has a tripod screw, wonderful idea.However after a month the casing disintegrated around the screw fixing and I am left unable to use the tripod feature. The range finder still works but as I have wobbly hands it’s not much use to me. Amazon though have issued a full refund and i will purchase another. Maybe I’ll have better luck with the next one

Can’t fault it especially at this price. Made a huge difference to my game knowing the exact number to flag, hazard etc. Supplied battery not great but you can pick them up 2 for 5.99 most everywhere. The battery aside I can’t recommend this highly enough
Great value and easy to use
I was unsure about this really when I bought it as I wasn’t sure what quality I would get at this price point but I should not have worried. Used for the first time tonight and it was accurate, easy to use that means this is great value for money. The slope feature is a real plus for me. It feels good in the hand when using and looks OK.

I am not a good enough golfer to justify paying 300 or more for top of the range.
This gives very close distance readings to those used by friends that cost a lot more.

Wanted one of these for a while having used a mates Bushnell but as a casual golfer never wanted to pay that much. Saw this by chance and for the price this is an incredible piece of kit vs some 400 versions, went for the slope version.
Used only once on a round of golf but seriously impressed. About as accurate as my mates more expensive golf watch and the slope aid is v helpful.

Definitely recommend
This is the first laser rangefinder that I have used – bought to back up distances given by my GPS watch.
Distances given are pretty accurate, (comparing to my friends Bushnell V4), and it only took a couple of (holes) uses to get used to operating the ‘lock’ feature.
I like the auto shut down as well – as when playing my home course it may be several holes between uses, thus saving on battery power.
It does what it’s designed to do – and one page operating instructions are always a plus.
Happy with the product, especially getting a whopping 29% discount on the price – and can’t really see what rangefinders at three to four times the price can offer to justify their inflated prices?

Measured against my golfing pals bushell comes up with the same numbers . Might not be appealing on eye compared to more expensive but for measuring well worth the money
Not bad for the price
I was a bit worried when I put the battery in and it came up as only about 30% capacity remaining. But after a couple of months it is still showing the same charge so maybe not too bad.
It is either very sensitive or not quite sensitive enough. If you aren’t exactly on the flag it will easily pick up an alternative structure in the background. Not good over about 400 yds (but I don’t hit the ball that far!). Useful for checking distances to bunkers and other hazards.

Been thinking about getting a range finder for the last could of years. I chose the Peak Pulse after reading the reviews. I’m not disappointed at all. It’s so easy to use, and exceptionally accurate. I would recommend this range finder to everyone who is considering buying one.
Works well
Only used a handful of times to check my gps watch. The yardage is spot on between them both, but the game changer with the rangefinder is the slope info. Not sure why you would spend 3-4 times the value for the same product.

There are several Budget options available but having decided upon the PeakPulse I couldn’t be happier. I certainly couldn’t justify spending a few hundred pounds on a premium brand so having read the reviews on this model I took the plunge. It’s light, easy to use and set up. Once on the course it’s not 100% accurate but was within 0-4 yards of my friends’ more expensive models (assuming of course that their readings were more accurate). The flag lock with vibration is great and works on all hazards and bunkers. The slope compensation mode is also a good feature. Taking everything into consideration I am extremely happy and absolutely love it. Now all I have to do is improve my actual game! Just as an additional comment, I had a couple of questions for the manufacturer and I have to say their customer service is excellent.
As a new golfer, one of my biggest problems is knowing how far away I am from the hole, so I needed a rangefinder to help me do this.
I checked out a number of options and decided to go for this one and I am so pleased I did.

Considering the price and the fact that it does exactly the same thing as other rangefinders except hybrids, the value is great. It is also accurate and there is no noticeable difference between this and other brands that cost 2-4x more money. However the battery included only had half of it’s power left and only lasted around 1.5 rounds.
The slope function could be on the side and when it’s off there should be a clear “off” colour or something so there is no doubt for others in tournaments.

Great service too, rangefinder turned up in under 24 hours from placing the order. distance is better than advertised – I live opposite a golf course and can pick out a flagstick from my upstairs window at 708 yards accurately… Excellent item, highly recommended.

This is a budget range finder that I bought this for my son. Its not quite as quick and slightly bigger but as far I can see is as good as my golf range finder which is a premium brand and cost 3 times as much!!!

Does what a Bushnell does, but slightly slowe
Bought one of these of a different site as couldn’t justify the cost of a Bushnell. Works really well, but is slightly slower to lock-on to the flag pole, but for the price, what can I say. It does what it should.
Game change
Wanted one of these for some time, purchased one of these for my brother in-law and compared to my brothers my expensive one I found this one easier to use when locking on to targets and the accuracy was just as good. Highly recommended, No doubt this will make a big difference to my handicap and 250 I saved not buying the more expensive model will go to great use.

I received mine today. Very sleek and stylish range finder. Put to use immediately, easy to use and set up. Very accurate for distance. One thing I would say through using it, is that if the target is 180+ it may be off by 5-10 metres but gives a good indication. For the price you are paying for this, that is more than acceptable. Would recommend for sure as an alternative to spending 300 euro +.
Put a bushnell logo on this and you would not be able to tell the difference between this and the so called out off price range rangefinders,the jolt works perfect the slope works perfect its easy to use very lightweight it fits in your hand really well.easily picked up the flag even the different coloured flags red,blue,white,.so at this price range it really is a no brainer,im delighted with it and i just wish there were some silicon cases or so on available for it instead off having to take it out the case everytime

Hi, This device is simply efficient and great value for money. It is batery powered but these are very inexpensive to replace. I need to use reading glasses at +2.0 and the scope was adjusted to take that into account. I can see through the viewfinder perfectly. Like most of these machines two hands are better than one for stability on the focus for measuring to your target. The kit and case are light and easily attached to your golf bag.
Overall brilliant piece of kit in a market whwre you can spend hundreds of pounds to do the same thing.

I’m not an expert golfer but it works really well for me as a beginner. It has the capacity range of 400 yards and has some awesome features such as locking on to the flag pole and slope analysis. It’s been a revelation for me. I feel I have definitely improved my golfing using this range finder. Love it.
