Purchased 5161B. Works great and very sturdy. Only gripe is the instructions. Said to drill holes at 16.8 inches apart which is wrong. Holes are 17 inches apart to dead center. Good thing I checked or I would have to relocate the drawer. Took off 1 star for this.

The perfect drawer for my Mini Mac & Extras
I bought this drawer to house my new Mac Mini and it works a dream – fits the Mac mini, a small NUC PC, a hard drive, and a thunderbolt adapter. It’s lockable and has plenty of room to get cables out of the back.

Great, but could be better...
A very well made product, that keeps the desk very tidy.
But, it has a major flaw for laptops that cool out the rear. The back plate comes as a pretty much solid piece, with tiny cut outs for cables. I have a gaming laptop that throws alot of hot air out the rear. I had to cut out some holes to allow this air to escape as my laptop was cooking. I feel this could be a design included in the drawer, that would greatly increase the use of this drawer.

The product is definitely good, it seems well built, and the drawer operation is buttery smooth. Definitely a good purchase.
However, the provided screws are tiny, and feel very unsafe. I complemented them with another two pairs of long, heavy-duty screws and I now feel more confident (8 screws in total) I won’t hear a loud bang in the middle of the night.
The reason I purchased it was to place it underneath my desk, like a drawer to open up space. Although my key was missing, it wasn't too important to me because I wanted it more like a drawer.

Very solid draw
I am deliberately not putting my laptop in here as I wanted a simple, low profile draw under my existing desk to store office stationary, post-it note pads, calculator etc. The supplied cardboard template made installation very straightforward and the provision for cables means I can place USB leads in there to charge small gadgets like earphone pod cases etc. A very useful desk draw.
This provided the perfect solution to my increasingly overcrowded home-office desk. Now that I have 2 large monitors and a docking station, I needed somewhere to “hide” the laptop. Installation was a bit tricky as I had to install it onto the underside of the desktop – it would be much easier if you could turn the desk upside down and work downwards but I did not want to clear the desk of all my equipment. The answer was to make a carboard template (the box this item came in would do) to mark out the screw mounting positions, then tape this underneath the desk before drilling the 4 x mounting holes. Worked a treat.
The tray has plenty of room for my laptop and slides out smoothly and easily. There is even a handy lock to keep it secure. Very impressed by this product – perfect for any home office set-up.
Superb drawer, quality, sturdy, spacious!
Installed quickly and easily in under 10 minutes. Screwed directly in to the wood with no extras. It’s a great size and just feels sturdy and solid. Rollers are smooth and the spongy wrist rest is a nice touch.
It does include a lock & key but could be bent or snapped with enough force. More of a child lock than a ‘keep out!’ lock but that is expected.
It also doesn’t roll out or rattle when not in use which can be annoying on some cheaper ones.
Worth every penny
Really well made with no plastic! Rails are nice and smooth and the whole drawer feels very strong. I used for my workshop bench to store and lock away tools.
Quick, easy installation and makes a clean setup for my Mac Mini. I got the idea from a YouTube video which included a link to this product. It’s very sturdy and well designed. With the meshed base there’s plenty of airflow for cooling, not the the M1 Mini needs much cooling! I’m thinking about a second one for my wife’s desk.
Great under desk storage for art materials.
I bought this for my water colour paint and other art materials to keep my desk a bit clearer. It provides adequate storage for this purpose and being shallow and of a reasonable length and width, it accommodates several water colour paint sets, pencils, etc without stacking so everything is easily accessible. It was easy to install, although a second set of hands is useful if you don’t want to turn the desk upside down to fit it. I haven’t tried to store a laptop in it, but am sure it would be ok. Whilst the draw locks, I wouldn’t recommend it as a security measure as the draw would be easy to prise off of the desk.

My father and I like to play cards. He has a problem with hand cramps so we use devices. This stand holds the tablet securely, is easy to adjust, and being lightweight and small makes it easily portable. My dad uses it all the time and really likes it.

Very nice. Sturdy high quality item. No installation directions that I saw included but it was not an issue for me to install. I like the vented bottom so I can leave my laptop in the drawer when I am using it connected to a dock with keyboard/mouse and monitors attached.

Seems to be of good quality but BEWARE since returns are not free.

The unit was well built solid but a little flimsy when the rails were out now I’m not a mechanically inclined guy installing it was a different matter for me it wouldn’t tighten up when I pulled the drawer it slid forward and fell off again so I end up having to put two screws front and back in each one of the slot holes
Now that I have it up it works well I would suggest and maybe I missed it if it was there a template where you can put Mark’s underneath your workbench and then just hook it i
The product is great, however, it didn’t come with any instructions and the screws are trash. I made a pilot hole the depth of the screw, etc., but the screws still stripped and did not fully drill in. Thank goodness, I had some carpenter screws handy.

Good but not new, I received a second hand faulty
I ordered a new product but I think I have received a second hand one, faulty, it looks like it was dismounted as the left corner is damaged. Except this ,good quality

I bought it a few months ago, I think. It has been very useful. I did wish if it was easy to set up though. I think my one ended up being a bit wonky which made it harder to close it properly but I can’t be bothered to redo them so I just left it as it is. Still useful.

Installed this today in about 30 minutes.
As you’ll see from the pictures I have a metal frame surround so was worried it would not fit correctly.
Packed it out with a bit of old chipboard and it looks and works perfectly.
I’m 6ft so was also worried that after packing it that it would knock on my knees but there is ample clearance.
Even has cable slots in the rear of the draw.
Just ordered another one for my daughter.

Great sturdy drawe
Bought this mainly to save space on my desk, needed a strong vented drawer for my laptop, this works perfectly, good heat dissipation, and enough space for my laptop and docking station, with holes out the back for cables to go through.
The drawer itself is very sturdy and fits in well with the aesthetic of my desk.

Super Schublade. Ist einfach anzubringen und wertet meine Schreibtisch sehr auf. Ich habe zwei Laptops und Kabel darin verstaut. Desweiteren auch Ladekabel darin versteckt um meine Peripherie Gerte zu laden einfach super. Nur vorsicht bei dem Abmessungen. Die Abmessungen die angegeben sind beziehen sich auf die nutzbare Flche der Schublade selbst, sprich die Abmessungen zum anbringen sind etwas grer als angegeben. Ich habe vom hinterem Teil etwas abgesgt um es bei mir passend zu machen.

The only issue and this is more a practical rather than description thing is to allow at least two cm clearances all around, my desk has less than that so it is slightly visible. Bought this to hide my laptop in to free up desk space as work have given me a bulky 17″ beast that takes up half of my desk.
Installation – couldn’t have been easier. 4 screws that hold it firmly to the underside of your desk. Make sure you flip your desk to install this else you’ll have no chance. No instructions, but if you need instructions to screw 4 screws in….
Look and feel – perfect size for a 17″ laptop. I have a HDMI cable & 2 USB cables running into the back of it and the movement of the drawer is very smooth. It doesn’t cause any problems for my knees either which was my initial concern so a winner right there. The vented bottom is also a nice feature as it stops the laptop from overheating.
Value for money – can’t complain. Lots of expensive alternatives on other sites but found the price paid here to be perfect.
Only downside – I’ve found that my Wi-Fi strength has dropped due to it now essentially being in a semi metal box under my desk.

I purchased this after a few months of working from home. My work laptop was taking up too much space on my desk. It was relatively easy to install, with the mounting screws included. It was a bit awkward to install upside-down, and I didn’t get it lined up exactly right the first time. I wish they would include some kind of guide for where to drill pilot holes on your desk. Another tip I would give to anyone looking to get this is to disassemble your desk if at all possible and flip the desk top so it is resting on its top. This will make the install much, much easier than if you’re lazy like me and try to install it upside down under the desk.
Bought for my home office table that I made from a kitchen work top. Draw is sturdy and well built, simply screw on the underside and that’s it. Not sure why other numpty’s had problems with the screw fixings, drill a pilot hole before screwing. Very happy and completes my home office.

This was easy to install on the bottom of a shelf where I needed it. Total time to install was less than 15 minutes and it seems quite sturdy. I was worried about a Dell 15 inch laptop not fitting, but it did with plenty of clearance for the HDMI and power plugs that stick out about 2 or 3 inches on the side.

Robust with plenty of room for even a fairly large device
Fabulous and sturdy under desk drawer for the home office. Thoroughly recommended. A wee tip – Measure the positioning of the screw holes twice and fit them once! Take your time to make sure it is aligned well, so that the runners are straight.
Great product itself. I attached it to the underside of my desk the first time I closed it, it fell off, which could have damaged my laptop. DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED SCREWS, get some good long screws.

I purchased this to store/hide a laptop when connected to a monitor. It does the job perfectly. The draw operates smoothly and the grill provides ventilation. Two things to note. First, I didn’t bother to look at the dimensions and was surprised by how big the draw is (the giveaway is that it holds a 20inch laptop). It’s therefore not the most elegant solution on a small desk. Second, the foam on the draw edge is somewhat pointless and, in my case, was a bit damaged. I removed it with some difficulty and pleased with the result. Would still recommend, especially if you have a big desktop.

Die Schublade ist top! Leichtgngig! Verpackung ist nicht so top – es ging aber nichts kaputt. Ich habe 2 Schubladen bestellt und die Schlssel der beiden Schubladen sind identisch. Allgemein sollte man hier nicht gerade auf das Schliesystem setzen – ist nicht das Gelbe vom Ei … ich brauchte es aber auch nicht. Ansonsten ist das Angebot fr 40 schon echt sehr gut!
I got this item and the packaging of it was utterly destroyed. Like kicking around a warehouse for 10 years destroyed. This is why I took one star away. Other than the packaging the drawer unit itself was unharmed and great quality. I was surprised how well this was built for the money. Many plastic crap drawers were the same price as this metal drawer was. I was really impressed with the smooth action of the unit as well. I dont know what kind of rollers it uses but its smooth as silk. I definitely will keep this company in mind if I need another.
Sturdy and with room for two laptops
I end up using my laptop more often as a desktop that not, and with two external monitors, I was looking to be able to fold my laptop away for most of my time on the desk. This drawer is exactly what I needed as I can store the laptop and connect all the cables at the back. I can even have two laptops (one being my work MackBook Pro, so it is very thin to be fair). All I have to do is to open the drawer to switch it on, fold the laptop back down and close the drawer.
The drawer is very sturdy, even with two laptops. I was worried it would be a hassle to set it up as I haven’t got a drill, but I simply screwed it in (though that might depend on your desk). I used two screws per corner just to be safe, so I used more than it came with.

If your desk is low then don’t forget that this will be where your knees are so position accordingly as it will be below your desk by a couple of inches. Mine is in the middle between the two workstations I have set up.
Determined thief will break this easily enough but 1. They have to spot it and ours is set back. 2. They have to faff and make a noise.

Ventilation is superior, as the bottom of drawer is one large porous surface with three rear slots for cable access. Smooth drawer rail operation and a convenient front left locking mechanism make this an ideal solution for operating a laptop in a desktop replacement configuration. Utilization of a wireless mouse and keyboard renders keyboard access an option and installation provides for a massive desktop workspace. The drawer lip includes a padded surface that is very easy on the wrists when typing in a drawer open configuration. I am using this under desk solution with a 17″ Dell G7 (heavy) laptop. The fit is tight but a small side mouse dongle is not a problem. I recommend the use of an external hub for convenient peripheral access when you are considering utilizing large laptop footprints.

It works as described. I purchased this in order to clear my desk and it works perfectly. The only issue I have had is that the corners, when used under the desk are somewhat sharp. It would be better if the corner of the frame had a larger curve, maybe even a little padding or something. however, not enough to give it a lesser score.
