In the recent hot weather, my older dog found this was very nice for him. I placed it into the fridge for a while, to chill it right down, then affixed it around his neck. He lay on his cool mat, in front of the fan, and seemed really to enjoy the coolness

When I first tried this on my dog he hated it. But now the weather is hot, he loves it. No more panting, he’s much more comfortable in this hot weather.

The bandana is a little big for my year old cavachon, but this makes it quite adaptable, because I can place it around her neck and it lies on her chest, or I can put it around her abdomen with the velcro strap doing up on her back. She seems comfortable with both ways. I’m really glad I bought it, because it definitely keeps her cool in this extreme weather.

My dog is a convert to this and much prefers it to the ice towel which I used to use on hot days.

Previously I would wrap one of the ice towels around her neck and inevitably it would become detached and I’d end having to stop and retie it. The design of this is brilliant. It simply goes on like a little bandana with velcro.
She is wearing the small size in the photos (her usual collar size is 12-13 inches)

Puppy loves it - easy to use

Blue is an 8ish year old dog who really doesn’t cope well in the heat at all. His old cooling bandana was a bit raggy so we were happy to give this one a try. The weather here lately has been really temperamental, some days it can change from summer to winter weather over a couple of hours. Blue likes to walk, he is hyper if he doesn’t get his daily walk. We do have a cooler coat for extreme heat, but it is too much for days when he needs moderate cooling. This bandana is easy to use, just soak in cold water, gently squeeze the excess out and pop around the neck. The fabric is a special fabric that holds the water for ages without drying out, when the breeze flows past it the water evaporates and causes cooling. It sits right next to the largest artery that passes through the neck and helps cool the blood, in turn bringing your dog’s temperature down. It looks pretty smart too. Nice quality and works well.

Great to keep my dog cool, it works well.

My Staffie hasn’t a lick of sense, and being a bracyphalic breed, is at risk of overheating. This is a good solution, since it cools the back of her neck. Okay, she wasn’t too keen to start with but will adjust.

This cooling collar is working well for my chihuahua.

I got the smallest size and it’s just right. When it’s a hot day I leave it in the freezer for a while and put it on her when it’s really cold, she seems to like it on because she doesn’t try to get it off like she does with some other things I have tried to make her wear. She is 14 years old now and doesn’t like the heat much now but when she has this on she follows me into the garden and plays or sits next to me while I do some weeding, before she had this collar she would stay indoors so it must be working for her.

It has been tested for purpose and passed 100%. It’s washable and the price is very good.

    Deserves at least 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review, I hope it helped.

I’d been waiting for some hot weather to try this out.

My elderly dog doesn’t cope too well with the heat, he will not sit on the cooling mat I got him so figured this was worth a try.

It’s a comfortable fit and the velcro is very strong it stays on all night.

He definitely seems to sleep better I don’t notice him panting as much.

I simply soak it, ring it out and pop in the fridge in the morning and then it’s ready for bedtime.

    Very pleased

I have been waiting for some warm weather to try out this bandana on my little dog. She really dislikes the heat and really struggles in it so this means restricted walks and avoiding the daytime hours.
This bandana is super soft and a vibrant blue, I just soaked it under the cold tap for 60 seconds then lightly rung it out. It attaches around the neck with a strip of Velcro which is very secure.
My dog went for her walks wearing this bandana and this has made a real difference to her, she is panting less often and seems to actually enjoy her walk. I have also left this on her whilst she is in the house on a hot day and it has kept her cooler.
The bandana did stay damp for a long time which was impressive and I I think compared to the price of some of the other dog cooling aids out there, this is a great buy.

    Great bandana

I have a Pomeranian so need items to help keep him cool during the hitcwratger. I’ve only adopted my 2 dogs 5 months ago after losing my other dog to renal failure so this is my first summer with them. My Shorkie can have her hair cut short but one should never shave a double coated furred dog (I’ve done tons of research) so this collar will be helpful to keep Mr Pom cooler.

The fit was very good for my boy and its easy to use, just wet and ring out the excess and apply to your dogs neck area fastening the velcro for it to stay put. It’s stays damp depending upon how hot the day is so you need to kerp checking to make sure it’s still damp. With Mr Pom being a fluffy boy I don’t remove to redampen I just pour a little water over the bandana and rub it in to spread it and that’s enough.

You can also dampen it and keep it in the fridge in a bag if you think the extra cold is needed for your dog but I personally feel just the damp is fine for my boy.

Mrs Shorkie has a much smaller frame so this bandana is a little big for her neck area.

A cooling jacket or bandana is worth considering in the summer months for most dogs and are essential for some breeds. Especially the brachi breeds.

This collar bandana is wide enough to cover an area of the dogs back, without draping down too low or becoming cumbersome or a distraction.

These are best kept in the bag it arrives in to maintain the life of the product.

This is easy enough to fit to most amenable dogs and you can really see a difference on hot days.

This product is so helpful for my big black dog in the warm weather. Make sure you put it on before they get hot as a preventative measure, not after to cool them down. This bandana keeps my dog cooler longer so he can enjoy running and playing in the su

This seems to be a sandwich of soft material, but it doesn’t contain gel or crystals as far as I can tell. It’s not entirely clear how it works, but it does have a cooling effect. The surface feels cool without any treatment, but we have been soaking it in water and putting it in the fridge. One of the dogs wears it when the weather is warm. He is happy to put his head in it without being asked, so we can assume he feels the benefit. The bandana has a velcro closure and is adjustable to a degree. It can be washed, and should last well.

    A cool bandana.

What a good idea for dogs.
Bought the XL which fits well on a 2 yr old male boxer.
He’s happy to wear it and not bothered by it so assume that means it’s comfortable.
Hopefully it is helping to keep him a lttle cooler.

    Looks quite smart on.

This bandana is great for the hot weather.

Doesn’t get too cold, and I got a size large for my cavalier King Charles.

Okay quality but overall helps to keep my dog cool!

My boy already has cool mats and a cooling towel but it’s always bothered me that he doesn’t have anything to carry around with him! But how he does!! And it’s perfect! It fits perfectly, and works so well! It cools him down immediately and it even looks cute!! This is definitely worth it!!
