Well worth the price and everything worked just fine, but the box was obviously poorly handled. It’s the fact they knew what they were giving to me and expected I wouldn’t care. These small things really matters to customers.
Best budget monito
Having loved the monitor so much, I brought a second one for a dual setup. I have had no regrets. Highly recommend this monitor to anyone on a budget. It is impressive for its price

I love the 27 ” screen. I use it for gaming but also watching football
Great for competative Xbox series X gaming
monitor is used exclusively for xbox series X gaming, work really well for that. Wouldn’t recommend it as much for PC as the colours and HDR aren’t great. FPS/input lag are great for competative gaming howeve

Beautiful screen looks great. I really don't care about hdr, so I won't deduct stars.

Amazing value for money. Period
This is my first ‘proper’ monitor and all I can say is WOWW. I’ve never experienced 1440p on a monitor, IPS nor past 90Hz so this is just amazing coming from a 24inch 60hz TN panel. The colors are great, don’t bother with HDR its bad just like every single other monitor that claims to be HDR around these price range, response time is good. No dead or stuck pixels but there is some small amount of backlight for me though and I only notice it when I loaded up a black image. The bezels are very thin but there is a small black border around the display on the inside of the bezel. I cant say much for the stand since I mounted it on an arm immediately.
9.5/10 definitely reccomend.

The size of this thing was larger than any monitor I've had, as well as the resolution. It's my first 1440 p monitor that I use for both PC and PS5, and gladly the PS5 allows it to output a 4k resolution through upscaling. Nothing was wrong with the monitor, tested for any dead pixels and such. I think I would buy another if ever needed.

I've spent the last 7 years using a monitor that came free with my computer. I managed to upgrade to dual screen by buying a second monitor from a Goodwill. Most of that time I've had a 1080 graphics card because my friend gave me his old one. So I literally had to use an HDMI to VGA converter to use my terrible monitors. I've been saving up for a while now so when I saw a 165hz monitor for this price I had to jump on it. I couldn't believe what a difference it is. I feel like I've been playing video games with my eyes squinted up till now.

Très bon moniteu
Trs bon moniteur pour le prix. Aprs quelque ajustement sur les couleur l’cran donne vraiment un excellent rsultat. Raison du 4 toiles est le backlight bleed qui a sur les contour mais pas assez pour dranger.
Only have had it for a few hours but I am pleasantly surprised. Only had two dead pixels in the top left corner of the screen but the back light bleed is quite noticeable in darker scenes. I want to give it 5 stars but just cant. For what it is and for the price this is a phenomenal choice. I'm happy. I've been gaming off of a flatscreen from 2010 for the past 11 years and 165hz ultra graphics on RDR2 is blowing my mind on PC.

Better than my old monito
I had an old monitor of similar spec but lower refresh rate. I bought this monitor because of its higher refresh rate and the colour is quite good. I’m no expert on monitors but I’m happy with the purchase

I don’t have too much experience with gaming monitors. Prior to this purchase I’ve owned a couple of FHD 144hz “gaming monitors”. Colors and contrast on those things made competitive gaming easier but design work was horrible. After watching and reading a number of reviews I thought I’d give this Pixio a shot to go along with my PC build.
This monitor checks soo boxes. It was simple to connect and navigate the menus. The color calibration out of the box is the best I’ve seen compared to this displays we’ve had at the office. The color temperature is slightly cool by default which was easily adjusted to my taste. I know viewing angles are import to some people. I don’t understand… what crazy angles are you look at a desktop monitor from? In any case even at extreme angle colors still look great. The extra screen real estate bumping the resolution up to 2k has been quite helpful for design work as well.
Now on to gaming. Its a great experience. If your pc rig can push 140+FPS at 1440p this monitor has to be the best option under $300usd. There are also built in gamer related OSDs you can enable like a timer, framerate counter, and crosshairs if that’s your thing. It’s a great monitor. You can’t go wrong this one.
***Some things to note***
– The stand is not most robust. It only has an pitch rotate. So depending on how important ergonomics are to you, you might would want to consider purchasing a monitor arm.
– If you plan to run the monitor at 1080p, YOU WILL want to adjust the Overdrive settings to “high”. I noticed a crazy amount of ghosting at 1080p 60fps until I adjusted the Overdrive.

Monitor mount is sharp due to it being metal, careful upon lifting and adjusting
Good quality monitor, no dead pixels compared to my previous monitor purchases. Perhaps just my luck on this one.
Also as mentioned, the monitor stand is metal so careful of the edges
To the people wondering how to turn off the monitor, just hold the button on the back (toggle for monitor settings)

Great for price, with a caveat?
Update 9/10/21 – Monitor sent back and replaced, covered under warranty. Updated to 4 stars
Original review – Purchased just under a year ago and one morning recently it turned on with horizontal black/grey lines running across the monitor. Tried monitor with different cables and even a different pc so ruled out all issues and must be monitor related. It was great up to this point for the price, couldn’t fault it. Waiting to hear back from Pixio regarding warranty/fix and will update with resolutio
Best Budget 1440p 165hz FreeSync Monito
PX277 – I bought this monitor for 1440p gaming with FreeSync, 165hz refresh rate, and < 1ms response time, with my GTX 1070. I am impressed by its features, and performance, especially at the price point. I was a little worried about FreeSync working with Nvidia G-Sync, since this monitor wasn't on Nvidia's compatibility list, but I managed to get it working. You have to enable FreeSync on the monitor before your graphics card will detect the capability. Once FreeSync is enabled, you can enable G-Sync settings from the Nvidia Control Panel. When you go through G-Sync setup, make sure to select the final checkbox, under display specific settings, even if your only using one monitor. Also, review the global 3D settings, and make sure Monitor Technology is set to G-SYNC Compatible. There are some other settings here you may want to tweak for performance. There is an issue with the monitor blanking, due to low frame rates, causing the refresh rate to fall below the monitor's range. This rarely happens in game, but it does happen ocassionally. However, some desktop applications, like LibreOffice, also trigger G-Sync, which causes this blanking behavior very frequently, outside of gaming. So I just keep FreeSync disabled, when I'm not gaming. I found reference that you can use a third-party app called Custom Resolution Utility to help manage this, but I haven't researched it enough yet. I'm not sure about HDR, though. I've never had an HDR capable display before, so it's probably a settings issue, but HDR doesn't seem to work properly in some games, then works beautifully in others. I generally leave HDR disabled, unless I know it works for the game I'm playing. I almost bought a similar 1440p, G-Sync Certified monitor, with a 144hz refresh rate. But when I saw this one, with higher 165hz refresh rate, at a lower price point, I figured I would give it a shot. Overall, I am very happy with how this monitor performs. FYI; I couldn't find this doccumented anywhere, but you can turn the monitor on/off by long-pressing the menu rocker switch, on the back of the monitor.

Good price and value! Wish it could rotate 180 but not a huge deal

Great monitor at a good price
Overall the monitor is great. Good picture quality, and excellent high refresh rate performance. The design is pretty bland but I prefer that to an over the top gamer aesthetic.
There are a few cons to be aware of:
1) The included stand is rubbish. No height adjustment and quite wobbly. But it’s easy to get off and the monitor is VESA compatible so not an issue for me
2) The out of the box colour calibration is pretty poor, but if you look on Google you can find info on how to adjust it, and it looks great after tha

My only gripe with this monitor, is that it came with a dead pixel to the extreme top left, barely noticeable. Other than that, an overall great monitor.

This is a really outstanding monitor. I had a 144hz monitor before and even just the 21 hz bump is so nice. If you've only ever played on a 60 hz monitor/TV this is a great entry. The price is great and 1440 p is just that extra little screen space or resolution bump that is noticeable in games compared to 1080 p. Not to mention for productivity higher resolution means more screen real estate. This is a great product for what you are spending and honestly I have no complaints.

No frills perfect panel
After a series of shipping mishaps with USPS, my package was declared ‘lost’ and I was issued a refund. However the monitor ended up showing up at my place later, so I had the refund and the monitor. Of course the right thing to do is let someone know that I did in fact receive the monitor, but upon setting up the monitor I was motivated to immediately call Amazon because the quality was that good. Of course Amazon could take the loss, but Pixio deserved every penny for the quality it delivered. Great color, no dead pixels, minimal glow, good response times. A simple design, minimal adjustability, but if you really care about that then get a VESA mount, I think a devoted monitor stand doesn’t need to do much.
It’s super bright for me, I keep it at 10 brightness (out of 100). I’ve hooked it up to a PC and a Xbox series x, works out of the box with either at maximum refresh rate.

I got this for my series x Xbox. I wanted to experience 120 fps. I miss the 4k but the refresh rate makes up for it. God value for price.

Great gaming monitor and so far no complaints or qa issues
Great for gaming. I came from a curved screen so it took some getting used to but going from 1080 to 1440 was a noticable difference in picture quality. As with every monitor it took some tweaking to get the picture to my liking but I found a site with decent settings. No dead pixels or backlight bleed I noticed or any other quality issues.
I’ll post pictures with settings that worked for me. Even if you don’t like these settings it’s a place to start.

This monitor is great. Had a 1920x1080 144hz monitor as my main. The difference in the resolution is absolutely insane. Loved it!

The Stand is a bummer, but for a monitor arm this hits the right price point. I purchased as a hold over until I got a 48" OLED, and it worked well both with my PC and Xbox Series X. It has been moved over to my Mac and only used for video/audio editing and serves well. Happy with the quality, other than the stand being pretty poor. I got this on sale, I am pretty happy with it for a "no name" over my older Samsung 27" that sits on my desk as well.

I really do love this monitor. It has no picture errors and performs as advertised. It has plenty of in/outputs and many options. My ONLY complaint is when I switch inputs from my PC to PS4. If they're both on when this happens it's no problem. However, if I turn off the PC before I remember to switch the inputs and the monitor turns off with the computer, it is insanely difficult trying to turn it back on to switch to the PS4 input before it turns itself off. It is difficult to determine when the monitor is back on, and it turns off before allowing you to switch inputs. Incredibly frustrating. Without that problem I could have easily rated this as a 5 star monitor.

Bought this for use with my Xbox series S and it does not disappoint. The picture is crisp, my wife likes it more than her 4K lg monitor it sits next to.

The only issue I have with this monitor is there is a lot of backlight bleed on black screens. That really is my only con and it isn't really that big of a deal. 1440p at 165hz for $300 is not a bad deal.

Everything I wanted for my Xbox Series X
1440p 120hz. The color accuracy is great and even though it is only tilt adjustable That’s all you need! If you want this monitor for the new Xbox or a pc; pull the trigger and get it! They sell out fast.
good stuff
i find this monitor to be amazing. it looks modern and has the tech to match. going from 1080p 60hz to 1440p 165hz is a dream. you won’t be disappointed. as im wirting this review, this monitor is no longer in stock which is sad as i would like to purchase another.
there are many monitors with similar specs personally i recommend looking for the best deal on all monitors as the pannels are pretty much all the same.

Lovely monitor, however dead pixel
Cant complain about the monitor for picture quality. However, I have one dead pixel and i cant be bothered to go through the whole return process just for one dead pixel.
Bought this monitor for my new Xbox Series S. Works great with FreeSync. Switched from 60hz to 120hz and immediately noticed the difference. You can play 1440p 120hz. Only con is that it has backlight bleeding on bottom right corner.

Great budget 1440p monito
Apart from light bleeding and ghosting. Bot a bad monitor for the money
Supports xbox series X 1440p, 120hz. Very happy. Looks great, great price

Great for the price
Great price great screen, compared to other monitors of the same price
I've had the monitor since December 2020 and hadn't had any issues until recently. The monitor started powering off then on then off again and i was very concerned so i set the monitor to 60hz through windows and it stopped it. I was doing some thermal testing with my fingers. I bought some little heatsinks and slapped them on the back and it has been working just fine since. for wear and tear i suggest putting some heatsinks on the back of the monitor near the middle hdmi port. Hope this review is useful for anyone that reads i

This is the perfect balance of money and features. 1140p and 165Hz is perfect for me.

Great for the price
There are better screens but at this price point this is the best 1440p 165hz option. I’ve done a lot of research and having bought this it met my expectations. Only real downside is IPS blacks are never all that great, minor BLB on one side, but far less than I’ve had on other screens in the past.
Quality & performance
Using it as a main monitor in a 2 me motor setup. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. 165hz is game changing in a gaming experience and I found colours to be much more accurate than my original Samsung monitor.
I found price to be fair, I got charged customs as I live in Ireland which drove the price a little higher than I would of liked but having said this I do not regret purchasing this monitor!

its super epic and epic and epic and awesome and epic… no but its really good quality for the price, it runs 1440p and 120 fps and is suprisingly good . i recommend it to anyone struggling to find a cheap monitor for high quality gaming

Fast refresh rate..
Wow!!!….I can’t say enough of how great the picture quality….For me, this is a big upgrade coming from an Asus in which was good for me at the time it still does gaming at 1080p but it was nowhere near the 144hz fresh rate!!!
so that being said I think for the bang for the buck and size I think I got a great deal….
Great 165HZ Monitor for Gaming
I’ve had this monitor for a while now and I must say it’s really good, haven’t really heard of this company (Pixio) before but I thought I would give it a try, the lovely crisp image at 2k 1440p in and out of gaming..

o swivel or height adjustment but for the price the picture and features are nice. g-sync seems to have issues in some games like doom eternal.

Great monito
Hands down the best 1440p monitor in this price range. Watch the YouTube reviews on this. All very good. Lovely picture. 165 works great, so smooth. No dead pixels.
I'm very impressed with this monitor! My only complaint is that is could be a little brighter sometimes, but you can't do better for around this price. Colors look amazing and it's everything you could want from a 1440p 165hz monitor. I'm actually considering trading out my 4k and running 2 of these 1440p Pixio's.

Pretty darn good!
The monitor is really good for new or average gamers. Able to adjust the screen. My 13 year old
son is satisfied with it.

This monitor is a steal for its price. I have a 3070 and paired with a 4k 60hz monitor for both high end and high refresh rate gaming is amazing.

Really good monitor!
10/10 monitor if you calibrate the settings right , if your worried about the IPS glow , it’s barely visible and after about a month use i can say it’s gone away
Probably the cheapest way to get 1440 at 144hz gaming. Overall solid quality, but there is some light bleeding for darker scenes and the usual VA panel motion blur. If I had to do it again I would probably just spend the extra $100 or so to get a higher quality panel but it's perfectly fine 95% of the time.

Great monitor, great price. Would recommend to mid-gamers
Great display, good price. Use this monitor for an array of things, I game on it with esports titles, the high refresh rate is great for it, I watch movies on it whilst working or just chilling, being a bit of a bidet screen is great for that, and I find it fits on the basic monitor arm I brought from amazon.
I will say if you have a smaller desk this will take up a lot of room, also with some games the ratio isn’t supported (I found I had to manually change the file settings for Witcher 3) other then that, perfect.

Great for Xbox Series X
Had this monitor for a week now and bought primarily for gaming on my Xbox Series X.
After a lot of research I decided to go for this one and it works perfectly, running at 1440p 120fps. I have just changed from using a 50″ 4K 60fps TV and don’t think I will ever go back. Picture looks great and the smoothness is incredible.
Also doubles up as my work monitor connecting to my windows laptop and works great.
Good value for money I’d say, can’t fault it so far.
So glad I purchased this!
So, I was a little concerned about the conpany. I had never heard of them, they are a very new brand so not lots of reviews to go by. Plus, I did see some bad reviews. The good outweighed the bad. So I thought lets give them a shot. If it is bad, I can return the item. Easy. Win win.
It paid off…. quality image. I ho estly have no complaints on this monitor. 1440p gaming is just flawless. So much so, that my mate with his 500 LG is selling, to buy the same as my one.
I like to play competitive shooters and having the decent fps really helps. No tearing, great sharpness.
Also jedi looks absolutly sick on it!
Don’t go by the bad reviews, these guys are making a very good quality monitor. Happy gaming all.

Good quality monito
Running at 165hz at 1440p. No backlight bleeding that I can notice. Menu is well thought out and stand feels solid. Only feature missing that I would have liked it to have would be a height adjustable stand.
Update: Small noise interference if using the audio output. Not a deal breaker.
Update 2: I think the audio problem is an AMD BIOS issue so could not be the monitor.

Very competitively priced for it's features
I haven’t used HDR before so I can’t compare others with it but the picture quality and vibrancy of colours is amazing, controlling the settings is pretty intuitive and straight forward with a little knob on the back so if you’re within arm’s reach it’s easy to adjust things depending on what you’re doing, only problem I’ve encountered with the settings is that it doesn’t seem to save my user profiles so I can’t quickly switch between HDR and/or Freesync then back to normal which is a little annoying but not a deal breaker. As others have mentioned the backlight bleed isn’t great but it’s not bad enough to be distracting the vast majority of the times, only while watching a very dark film at night was it noticeable enough for it to make me switch over to my TV, so for it’s intended use for games there are no real downsides in my opinion.

Incomplete data.
Bought this to pair with a new graphics card. With what is happening in the world and greedy scalpers that has not been possible. However so far the monitor is fine. The jump to 144hz is a nice addition. The off button was not obvious but after some investigation I discovered that you hold the option button in to turn it off.

premium monitor for a budget price
only had this monitor 24 hours and this monitor is great the picture is crystal clear no dead pixels runs fine at 144htz HDMI and 165htz via display port the colours look great in cod cold war and every other game I’ve tried .. it has a thin bezel around the screen the menu button is on the back bottom right its a bit fiddly to use but after a few times using it all’s good ..the stand is easy to assemble 2 Philips screws and your set it comes with a display port cable added bonus and power brick watching films is also good great colours and brightness this model is from the oct 2020 batch if anyone’s wondering all I can say is I cant fault the product and I would recommend to anyone to make a purchase
Very good gaming monitor for the price.
My son loves this. The display is crisp and the response time has no noticible lag.
I do wish it was easier to wall mount.
This monitor is perfect for the Xbox Series X. It runs a smooth 120fps up to 1440p, and the option of 4K up to 60fps. This is the best quality low budget monitor for next gen consoles.
**PRICE – This monitor is worth around the 300-350 mark, do not pay a penny over this as people are profiting off low supply and high demand of these types of monitor due to next gen consoles.
This monitor features 2 x HDMI 2.0 ports, but please do your research before buying a monitor with these. I previously bought a Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-mhd which was advertised as being capable of doing 1440p at 120fps, but this was not the case. I had to send this monitor back in which I then bought this Pixio one. Please refer to the manufacture websites to get accurate information, talking to Xbox customer support may also be useful.
This has an IPS panel so the colours are very bright and the response time is amazing. But despite this there is no visible ghosting or IPS bleeding. This monitor has very good brightness also.
This only thing worth mentioning is the ergonomics. This monitor can only tilt, no height adjustment or swivel. For me, this isn’t an issue as the viewing height and angel is perfect. For some this may be a downside.

If you game in QHD because you don't have 600 million dollars to spend on the newest GPU, or don't feel like selling your children to scoop the newest ryzen processor then this monitor is for you. Priced well, build quality is very good. I do not recommend turning on HDR as it turns the picture to complete CRAP. Like unreadable. Aside from the HDR debacle, the image quality is superb. The monitor has some great features for gaming like a crosshair, different brightness modes etc. Definitely would recommend if you are considering a new quality monitor and do not feel like spending an arm and a leg on an LG or ASUS.

Works on Series S brilliantly
Great 27inch monitor. Running it on my Series S. Excellent picture quality. Warzone can’t get it to work at 120fps. Is quite jittery all other game run perfectly at 120fps that have the capabilities

The best gaming monitor money can buy
It’s a great gaming monitor for PS4 and PC. 165hz is amazing, bright colours.
My first larger-than-1080p monitor and it doesnt dissapoint!
Needed to replace one of my two monitors with something new. Narrowed it down to this one and the Viewsonic VX-2758 and decided to go on this one as it was slighter newer and had better availability. Has not dissapointed yet. Going from a 24″ 1080p 60mhz monitor to one this size, running at 1440 165mhz has been amazing. Currently saving up for a second one, to replace my other 1080p screen.
This monitor is perfect for someone who wants to get a 1440p monitor while not spending a fortune. The panel is really good and the control menu is easy to navigate. One downside to the monitor is that it has a physical power brick, kinda like a laptop, but otherwise that there are no other problems. If you are considering picking up a monitor, I would either get this one or viewsonic's VX2758-2KP-MHD 27
