The whole set works straightaway out of box. I connected everything up and all just worked immediately. Fairly easy to connect. RJ45 single wire both for power and signal for each camera, which is a neat advantage. Much more reliable than wireless. 1T disk storage in DVR is too little – should have options of 2T or 4T – I would not mind paying more for large disks. I can re-use an old NTL phone line hole in the wall so installation is easier. I am able to find a handyman and got 2 cameras mounted for 70. The AI alters work well too – didn’t miss anything. Night vision is OK for this price. Mobile app is fine, but can’t play back over mobile. DVR playbacks work OK so far. Overall the 5M camera quality is good and solid resolution & color in summer daylights. We will see how it works in raining and winter nights. Overall the whole set is absolutely good value vs quality for money.
My Sansco cctv recently stopped working after several years (as electronic things can do) I sent an E-mail to the address on the ‘quick setup guide’ (pays to keep it safe) I am as much impressed by the SANSCO tech support, as I am with the Sansco cctv system (easy to set up, easy to use) Sansco tech. support got back to me within 24 hrs. and after several e-mails ‘trouble shooting’, thanks to the Team Sansco I have the system up and running again.
I purchased one of these SANSCO units several years ago. Easy to fit and easy to use. However recently (like any electronic device can) something went wrong, and the unit stopped working as it should. I sent an E-mail to the address given on the ‘Quick set up guide’ (pays to keep it safe) and within 24 hrs they replied. I am as much happy with their tech support as with the Sansco system, and soon, after several e-mails they had my system up and running again. Thanks Tech. support team.
A value for money CCTV system, everything you need to install a security system into your home. The build quality of the cameras and NVR are very good, the NVR has auto configuration software and the quality of the cameras 5mp images in full colour are brilliant. At night the cameras Infra Red system displays very impressive images.
Support is available from a UK phone number or by emailing their support team. Both of these methods work because I had a question when installing the software and received a phone call and email response within two hours

First camera system we’ve had an it hasn’t disappointed. The picture quality is fantastic. Very easy to use and set up, easy to download videos too. The customer service and support has been completely next level.
So I wanted a PoE CCTV with decent image quality that didn’t cost too much, and this system ticks all those boxes. Only thing I would say is that the screws and wall plugs you get are very cheap and the heads twisted off the screws while putting it up, so get your own screws!
Fantastic little cctv system, 5 MP, colour cameras that are crystal clear even in complete darkness, 1TB harddrive already included and installed, easy set up via the onboard menu, would recommend this system to anyone looking for a quality cctv system at an affordable price, definitely value for money.

POE plug and play straight from box. Easy to set up and configure. Works great with app for live or previous playback remotely. Also dealt with sansco support who were quick and helpful to reply to questions
The process of putting them up looked simple enough (I am a wheelchair user so nothing to do with the actual fitting) they didn’t seem to struggle anyway.
So the set up my fella did, it again looked simple enough.
The actual cameras video quality wise are good and the 1tb space means plenty of time before it records over.
With regards to the “intelligent” alarm, well it isn’t that intelligent at all. It is supposed to have human detection and face detection but the human detection pics up rain, cats & a bat flying past it amongst other things & the face detection isn’t as clear as I would like.
The first option I was given was send it back, but I wasn’t about to pay again to have it taken out then pay a third charge for it to be installed again when it was repaired or replaced.
I reached out to the seller both here and on facebook and although it has gone on over several weeks (time difference and public holidays there) the seller, to their credit has thoroughly checked all the evidence I have sent to them and we have tried lots of trouble shooting. The seller has settled on a partial refund which I am currently waiting on.
Honestly though, even without the alarms on it is a great standard cctv camera system, it is easy to use and loads quickly in the app even skipping between the screens it loads pretty quick. Though there can be video blind issues at dawn or when security lights come on.
I might have just been unlucky in the alarms being temperamental, others might be fine but if not, the seller will offer you plenty of help, just be patient with the time difference.
Either way, just using it as a regular PoE set without alarms I have that piece of mind that evidence, should it be necessary is easy to get hold of and the recordings are clear in both night mode and day mode (if you use the “pro” app you may have issues with night vision, but on the standard app it is fine)
With my part refund I will buy some separate motion sensors (which was the main reason we chose this kit) so ultimately I will have some in, albeit standalone but I will know my little eyes in the sky will be recording away for me.
So in a nutshell
FEATURES (alarms) – not great,
PICTURE QUALITY – day mode is great, night vision is decent (but some video blind issues at dawn or if the security lights trigger) and definitely use the standard app in my opinion.
SELLER- helpful and knowledgeable with plenty of troubleshooting options. I have gone on for about 5 weeks, now! I will be lost without a daily reply!

Pros:

Recorded video can be fast forwarded and rewound using both CMS app (win10) and XMEye Pro app.
Auto overwrites recorded video when HDD is full.
Stores 9 days worth of video on the included 1TB drive (H265 at 5MP).
Cons:
One of the cameras seems to have slight blurring at the top left.
Camera can occasionally get condensation in the early morning but it quickly clears up.
Redundant power cable connector on the camera leads.
Included ethernet cables are not the best quality (cat5 or less).
I purchased this product and returned the kit having read the instructions. I was confused and misunderstood the product description with installation instructions. My principal reason I need surveillance equipment that could be used in a court of law if need be. Without question, if I didn’t need the kit for possible court reasons I would have been very happy to install this system.
Easy to install, easy to use on all devices, easy to pay back and capture video from. Customer service (Huanjie) were very helpful and rectified an issue we had without any problem. I would recommend this product.
Not installed them yet, but overall seem pretty good, but the biggest down side to me is the lack of movement available to angle the cameras, they can only face 180 from the bracket so covering blind spots can be difficult.
Good product that was easy to install – I had a problem with one camera but this was sorted within hours of contacting maker. Overall a good product and easy to setup and watch from your mobile etc.
Really pleased with this package, think it is great value compared to more established brands. Had an issue after install with one camera having condensation inside it, e-mailed Sansco, and no problem they sent out a replacement camera that day.
Still learning how to use the actual unit/hardrive, and that could probably be a bit more user friendly, but then im not very tech savvy!

Had a problem but the excellent Customer services sorted it out without a hitch. Now working fine.
This is a superb product easy to install for anyone with a little diy capability. Superb quality pictures that can be accessed remotely via your mobile or tablet once you have downloaded the app.
The recording function allows you to look back on any of the cameras you choose to see anything of interest, this is best done using the mouse on your main monitor or tv as the app only allows you to see the current days recording.
All in all a fantastic system and the after sales service is excellent.

With many CCTV systems on the market, you have to rely on customer reviews to find the best.
After reading the reviews, I decided to go for this one and am glad I did.
It is a wired camera system and comes with everything you need, a Network Video Recorder, 4 cameras, cables, fixing kits and a waterproof seal for the cable ends.
The cables are very flexible, easy to cut and remake if too long.
The POE is a huge benefit as it powers each camera over the Ethernet cables.
The cameras are adjusted with a provided allen key which allows for accurate positioning.
The picture quality is very good (5M) showing High Definition both day and nighttime.
Technical support is very responsive getting back to you next day without fail.
A setup booklet is supplied which gets you up and running in no time.
I now can view all cameras on both my tablet and phone.
For the price, I would definitely recommend this system.
Very happy with the quality and ease of setup. The software although slightly out of date looking, it is functional and somewhat intuitive.
I did have a issue after installing, however the manufacturer and seller were most helpful, providing a solution to get me up and running.
The HD, sound and field of view on cameras are great.
Good cameras and NVR for money. Great picture and sound. No need to run power cables which means just run an ethernet cable to where u want camera, drill hole and plug in. Had issue with 1 camera but there support was great and they resolved it quickly. App could have more functionality but it works fine

This is an excellent value product and the PoE (Power over Ethernet) means you don’t have camera connections to the mains, reducing the leads and power supplies. Very high quality images. Installation of such a system is certain to involve work,understanding the software and fixing things to walls etc. The product support was really good, rapid and helpful, replacing a faulty part. 250 for four HD cameras, hard disc storage, hardware and software – its good value
I would like to say I am very pleased with the system I purchased.
Good quality of picture as you can see from the pictures/video.
In depth configurations although I had to do some research for best values and settings as this was my first time setting up a home security system.
The seller is friendly and easy to communicate with. I have done so on two occasions and they have resolved my issues without any hassle.
The phone app is easy to install and use.
Only issue is, that I wish I went for bigger storage I will install a larger HDD when I get chance.
The system is 16:9 as you’d expect however the 5MP cameras are 4:3. So on a standard SVGA monitor, the images are stretched. Downloaded recordings saved to a USB drive do playback in the correct ratio as I believe they will also display correctly via the Internet on a web browser on a PC. I have unable to use the web browser on a Mac as Mac appears to be unsupported. Having sourced an old-school 4:3 monitor to test, the image does display correctly and 4:3 display ratios are supported.
Firstly, as it uses Power over Ethernet (PoE), it’s easy to install without the hassle of worrying about power for each camera. The power is supplied via the single ethernet cable which connects to the main unit. A generous 30m of cable is provided for each camera. I’m not very good at DIY but I managed to install it including the 4 cameras with the cables hidden inside the soffits in just a couple of hours. Minimal setting up is required but it’s worth making sure that you read the supplied manual first.
The quality of the cameras is outstanding. So pleased that I spent the extra money going for the extra resolution. It’s pin-sharp and really does capture all the detail. What surprised me more was the night vision – really effective and far better than the CCTV I have at work which cost considerable more than this system.
Long term quality seems good. I’ve had two questions that I’ve had to ask their support team and received really helpful answers within the day.
If you’re looking for a quality CCTV system then can highly recommend this one.
I purchased this CCTV system going off the reviews from other people after a previous bad experience from another make I purchased. I did my research and found that Sansco is a major supplier in the Industry of CCTV systems.
I was not left disappointed once it arrived, a nice compact system that is easily installed by yourself. The cameras look good, not the normal round pipe looking things. They are all connected to the NVR through one cat 5 cable (PoE), this provides the power, picture and Audio all through one single cable per camera. Had a little problem after set up, but customer service sorted with 5 star service.
Highly recommend this system for any one as its an easy install and alot for your money…
Very pleased with this purchase, For the money paid i have to say this is an exceptional system. The picture quality is fantastic and the night vision is one of the best i’ve seen, The night vision on this system is something you would expect from a much higher priced system. Its very easy to set up. l did have worries about one of the cables not being long enough but i was greatly surprised it was more than enough. The sound quality is very good also but on the main road the traffic sounds can be a little overpowering sometimes. l did look at the 2 megapixel system before finally choosing this one and i have to say for the extra money i would upgrade, plus you get the extra sound recording also because of the PoE cable connection. Overall i would highly recommend this system as an easy to use and set up simple home or small business CCTV system.
clear picture day and night and very easy to install and set up
This is a good product with clear camera view and options.
It was relatively easy to install and comes with its own screws. The only thing that needs to be taken into consideration is the waterproof casing for the cable that comes with it. I strongly advise you buy your own external waterproof case and hide the connections in it as water does go in and will damage ur cable and camera.
I have to also add that so far i’ve used their customer service a couple of times and they have been very quick and helpful. Overall good product and service.
Fantastic product with great capabilities. I have installed 4 cameras around my property which have proven to be an asset to my home security. Customer support is excellent, had a small technical issue which was resolved really really quickly with no hassle at all. Highly recommended and will be purchasing additional cameras.
Had the system installed for just over a month. I am impressed with the amount of features that cost hundreds more on systems by Google/Nest etc. Face and object detection works well.
Camera quality is perfect, very clear – can certainly make out the faces of any troublemakers!

This is without a doubt a brilliant system. The setting up could have been simpler if I were aware that the instructions were on the disk included, but after contacting them this was solved and a link was given to where they were available. But it would have been much simpler if a hard copy had been included. The remote was missing and knowing Amazon it will not be a problem. As far as the cameras are concerned the quality is excellent and cannot be faltered.
The system worked well for few days. Stopped working all of a sudden. Customer service said it may be faulty power adaptor. Tried with different adaptor. Still not working.
The customer service is sending me a new adaptor. Hopefully this will work.
My only gripe is that the manual isn’t very good.It tells you what the settings should be,but, no further details of why those settings are set as that.I like to know the ins & outs of things, but with this i am a bit frustrated that i can’t find out more info.An engineer did phone back, after i’d made some enquiries to the seller, but unfortunately i wasn’t at home at the time to go through it.
