    I must admit that I don’t use many features offered by the camera. I found the menus straightforward and easy to navigate. I got some issues that might have eventually been related to the software, but that were resolved by contacting support and replacing the camera itself. Note that I was really pleasantly surprised by their response time. They offered a quick list of troubleshooting steps… and immediately sent a replacement box when this failed to solved the problem. I wish all vendors behaved the same !

    Bought this dashcam in all my cars and i was impressed with the quality of the image night and day, tried downloading high quality via app and took minutes for the highest quality, it will be faster if you will download straight from the sd card. Installing the dashcam is pretty straight forward, easy to install.

    Back camera: SUV owners get the right spot for the back camera, mostly with trunk or tailgate opening going up and down, RedTiger should make back camera for different style of tailgate.

    And the best of all customer service is awesome!!

    Update: I was finally contacted by the seller – this time, someone who actually cares about solving customer problems . Fingers crossed that my issue will be resolved..
    Update #2: The issue is fully resolved now and I’m able to use all the features and it works like a charm! Fully recommend this product. Hope it holds good in the long run!

    I received a RedTiger F7N dashcam last Christmas and have had it in use for almost a year. The features it has meet all my needs and more so I am completely pleased with the unit. While I did have a problem with it, Jessie at RedTiger’s Customer Relations was amazing and expedited another unit immediately. This is impressive Customer Relations, so impressive ion fact, I bought another F7N for my wife’s car…but she won’t get i until this Christmas so don’t tell her!

    Everything seems good, other than the parking monitor. I ordered the device shown in chart that is listed for this camera and I am told I ordered wrong, but they’ve reimbursed and sending correct device. unfortunately I will now have to rerun device wiring.     Purchased camera and hardwire kit. Turns out the hardwire kit must be specific to the camera regardless if connector is the same or not.

    When i reached out to the Redtiger regarding hardwire kit they were quick to respond and provided excellent service to get me the proper hardwire kit free of charge.

    They also followed up to make sure the new hardwire kit solved the issue.

    Overall great product and excellent customer support.

    It’s relatively small. I used on a 2500 mile trip-worked fine. The app worked too! I had to return a cheaper model/brand 4k dashcam that the app constantly rebooted on my phone. Should have reviewed the app ratings on the cheapo b4 buying, would have saved the trouble to return. Learn from my mistake.

It has been exactly a year and the front camera quit working. After some trouble shooting with customer service they decided to replace it(recieved it in 3 days). I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I am with this camera. It has perfect picture quality(day and night). Shows my speed if there was ever a need. Not a complete 180 degree view but dang near it. This camera system is perfect for someone simple like me. I am not very tech savvy but I was able to set everything up easily. Thank you for the EXCELLENT customer service and perfect Dash Cam!!!

I read some comments that its quality is not the same as advertised (and it probably is but It’s still a better quality compared to the other brands I saw). Customer service was also responsive and helpful when I tried requesting for their free hardwire kit.

    The camera does what it is intended to do, so far no hiccups, hasn’t froze or anything, and I have mine set to run 24/7 and it has been working flawlessly. I like the fact that it uses double-sided tape to secure to the windshield because I don’t always trust the suction cup based mounts, the only thing I don’t like about this camera is that when you slide the camera into the mounting base, it seems to have developed a very small wiggle, the video records smooth however without any distortion at least.

    I got several vehicles with different dash-cams, but this one is the best one out there!

    The front/back camera screen interface is great in terms of ease-of-setup and video clarity. The parking monitor has a clever design, drawing power from the vehicle rather an internal battery, making it very reliable esp when parked for long periods of time. The video wi-fi interface is very friendly and crisp compared with the more cumbersome models that are out there.

    Finally, their customer service is simply impressive.
    I’ve never had a more responsive Amazon seller as this one. Many thanks!

These cameras work amazingly, the app connects easily to the phone and the quality of the camera is great. Highly recommend these if you want to ensure your car rides are recorded for any issues while driving – which is the main reason I bought this.

    Works as specified if you follow the instructions. I still need to hardwire it and install the reverse camera which I will be paying a professional to do as I do not want to damage my car accidentally. I plugged in the reverse camera and it works perfectly. The recordings are almost immaculate and the app is easy to use. The only issue is that when you connect your phone to do the camera, you need to turn it off and on again to disable the wifi. Amazing price for the quality.

    I had this device for about 2 months and I’m pretty sure due to user error it stopped working. I contacted the customer service and after 2 days got a response that they are sending me a new unit with a shipping label and box prepaid to send them the defective unit. Very impressed with customer service, and the unit works great the 4K video is easily viewed on a cell phone provided you have a way to view the micro SD card. I highly recommend this unit.

    several viewing options,
    menus are quick and easy.
    nice to be able to remove from mount
    can def read plates from an ok distance
    viewing field is great
    Cons:
    main unit gets hot, card is hot when removed after use,
    feels like its looking a little too far right, but you cant ‘turn’ it- you can only rotate the mount on the glass which skews the image a little
    awkward to adjust/reset mount
    rear camera can be a trial to get mounted in a good spot (im no going to put it outside the car. )
    front facing camera gets lots of glare from dashboard

    Was a little skeptical at first, had some problems downloading video with the app but putting taking the card out and putting it into my computer was a lot easier to watch the videos. It was easier to install than I thought. Hiding the wiring takes some patience but worth it. I was in an accident about a month ago and this camera really saved me as the guy that hit me had no chance of denying fault for the accident. I really like how the camera was able to detect the crash and lock that part of the video away where it couldn’t be erased (although it took a minute to figure out where it was on the SD card). Dash cam is now reinstalled in my new car and working great.

    I have bought this dual dash cam and I must admit in the beginning, had a problem with the rear camera (front camera was excellent). Instead of returning the product, I followed the manual instruction and contacted Redtiger. Frank from Redtiger responded within less than 24 hours and provided me troubleshooting methods to fix my initial problem. When it was not fixed, without any hesitation, he replaced my dash cam with a new one and it works really well!

    Even though I had a problem in the beginning,
    Frank from Redtiger provided me a top notch assistance. I am very pleased with this dual dash cam from the clarity of the videos to how easy it can be set up as well. Good buy and I personally have no regrets on this purchase.

    Night view isn’t that good, still functional though. The app is way too slow to download videos through, I strongly recommend a sd card adapter instead. Loop Recording doesn’t work at all, keeps saying sd card error when full, I have to format card every time all the space is filled. Other than those few complaints, it’s a pretty good product I would recommend to anyone on a budget.

    This is my second purchase of the Red Tiger dash cam. The first one was set up on my Sport Jeep about 6 months ago. No issues with it and the picture quality is sharp. While setting up the second camara I seem to have lost the charger’s fuse. I contacted customer support and Frank took care of it by mailing out a replacement charger at no charge. Since then, Frank has reached out to me to ensure all is working great on the new dash cam. Excellent customer service and very helpful when needed.     I acquired the F7N dedicated hardware kit and an inside rear camera, that is mounted on the top center rear window, via contacting REDTIGER customer service. I had an excellent experience with their customer support team. They responded to and processed my request in a very timely manner.

    I had the F7N system installed professionally at a local car stereo installation shop (they install various car accessories). To me, the $150 installation cost was well worth it as they sell and install dash cams (I called and spoke to multiple shops and picked the one that seemed most knowledgeable to me).

    With the dedicated hard wire kit, I have Parking Monitoring mode turned on. With this feature, the system records differently to save power and recording space. The system records monitoring mode in different folders: Park_F (for front camera) and Park_R (for rear camera).

    This dash cam has great performance with a full range of features. It covers all dash cam needs including parking monitoring. I would recommend reading the user manual and going through the settings carefully. It will help you understand the system with much better satisfaction.
    When I want to view the dash cam’s videos, I remove the memory chip and play them on my computer (make sure you turn the dash cam off while removing and inserting the memory chip).

    Summary
    This dash cam is a good value with price, quality, and features. I like the small display screen because it has very minimal windshield view obstruction.

    I bought this camera for my car about four months ago and it has been working great. I plug it into the USB port in my car, but you can also buy the hardwire kit to hardwire it into your car for continuous recording when your car is off. The video quality is very clear and the recordings stay on the SD card for a few days/weeks so you have enough time to load them onto your computer without them overwriting. I got a new car and messed up the sticky adhesive to go onto the windshield, and I contacted their customer service who sent me two new ones the next day!! Great product and great customer service, definitely recommend.

    Camara was alright but after a month it started randomly restarting like once a drive. So i formatted the SD card hoping it would fix it but now it restarts almost once a minute.
    UPDATE!: The seller contacted me and send me a new camera asap.

    After I submitted my original complaint, I was contacted, and I was issued a new rear facing camera that I mounted inside the cab. then another problem cropped up that had nothing to do with the functionality of the cameras the cameras work very well. Unfortunately, I began having trouble downloading the program that would allow me to view the videos on my computer, this is mostly my fault since I am not computer literate. This is ongoing and I hope will be rectified soon. I finally completed the download, and all is right with the world.
    Overall, the company and their support department, has virtually bent over backwards to resolve my problem.
    I would have no problem recommending them to anyone.

    Purchased this device a few weeks ago and have no complaints.
    I ran into an issue with the rear camera, static sticker letting go and contacted reseller to see if I could get a replacement or at least where I might be able to purchase new ones. The person I spoke with was fantastic and send me two new static stickers along with the 3G mounting sticker, they were also very quick getting to me.
    I have been using this device since and have no complaints. It is working like a champ, have not had any issues with it and it just works. Turn on my car, boom, it powers on and starts working.
    The only issue I have, and it is not really so much with the product is that if you want to use their app on your phone and you have either apple play or android auto (wireless connections) you will have to disable the wireless auto-connect on your phone for your car when you try to connect to the wireless of the camera. Since the camera does have a video playback it is not that big of a deal, but figured I would bring this up for anyone who may have a newer car that does use wireless to connect their phone to their car. IF you do not use wireless than you are all set!
    Overall, I would highly recommend this product. Pretty solid and their customer service was fantastic!

    I couldn’t be more pleased with this Dash Cam. It does take some work to fine-tune it, especially when using the Rear camera. It does require an added purchase of the proper cable for the rear camera, but it works so much better with it. If using the front-view camera only it is very easy to use. I suggest purchasing the cable for the rear camera…it turns a simple camera into a fully capable recording, in both directions, and additional benefits such as recording if the vehicle is broken into and WIFI (10 ft maximum distance from the vehicle) and much more. Well worth the extra cost and effort for complete coverage and protection of your vehicle.

    The seller provided updated (custom? Beta?) firmware and it seems to have fixed the issue! That’s awesome. My cam is now set up correctly with the proper time/DST settings. It was a bit painful to get here but I’m glad everything is sorted now.

    *Update 07/28/22*

    So I finally figured out the pausing issue. Turns out it’s the DST setting. I am in pacific time and so logically I set my time zone to pacific and set DST to ON since we are observing DST until November. As soon as I changed DST to OFF I got NO MORE PAUSES! BUTTTT!!! The time is now wrong lol. So I am happy that it works now but I’m not happy that the time display is wrong. I’ll have to adjust it in time settings. I think I’ll leave it at that.

    To wrap up. Things I tried to fix the issue:
    1: Update firmware
    2: Reset to factory settings
    3: Many different endurance microSD cards (2 Samsung Pro Endurance, 1 Transcend Endurance, 1 SanDisk Endurance)
    4: Setting GPS display to OFF, Wifi OFF
    5: Recording in all 3 different resolutions

    The only thing that worked was setting DST to OFF. I’m relieved this is resolved but concerned that it was an issue in the first place.

    To the seller’s credit, REDTIGER, they attempted to help and were pleasant enough to deal with.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW:
    I had a detailed review but Amazon did not approve it due to what I believe was GPS coordinates in the video I posted. So here’s the short of it:

    The camera pauses every few seconds. These pauses are actually recorded into the video file created. Obviously, this is not wanted behavior as something can happen in between these pauses and they will not be recorded. I am using a Samsung PRO Endurance mSD card.

    I’ve been in contact with the seller. I appreciate them wanting to help. They had me try all these troubleshooting steps going back and forth for a few days. They wanted me to send several hundred MB videos through email (lol) obviously this is not possible as the file limits in Outlook and Gmail are very low. I provided the videos through Google drive downloads. Ultimately, I stated that I do not have time to troubleshoot a camera that is obviously not working correctly (I need a dash cam for my daily commute) and that to please honor their warranty or refund my money. They will send me a new camera that I hope works correctly. They are requesting the broken camera back which will be a hassle to go to drop off but fine if it means they’ll honor their warranty.

    RedTiger’s support is commendable but really it shouldn’t be this difficult to warranty a broken device. If the replacement device works as intended I will use it and adjust my rating accordingly but I will not buy another RedTiger dash cam and instead stick to more reputable brands.

    I received the hardwire kit but as soon as I opened it I saw that the type of fuse was not compatible with the type of fuse on my truck (micro fuse). I tried to return everything through Amazon but their return policy for auto parts does not allow you to do so, you have to contact the vendor. What I have done. The support from Redtiger has been exceptional. They sent me another model of hardwire kit (Double-4 fuse) free of charge which contained the type of fuse compatible with those of my truck.

    I installed the whole thing which worked very well but I had difficulty activating the parking mode function directly from the dashcam. I had to go through the Redtiger app to activate everything and be able to choose the right settings via the dashcam’s Parking option. I told them to add instructions for installing the product correctly and activate it.

    Excellent product and great service
    I would buy again their products.

    I have had many dash cams, they felt cheap when I mounted them in my car, the mounts were flimsy and the the quality was sketchy and sometimes intermittent, but this one is a solid camera that has a strong mount and a wonderfully robust menu. If you get the correct memory card, the unit works flawlessly. The quality is amazing, and I love the low profile. I also love the wireless capabilities.

    If you want a 23-minute in-depth review, and I mean in depth, search on YouTube for Jabber Tech, “RedTiger WiFi GPS Dash Camera…” This video has long sequences of drive video — day, dusk, night. Jabber’s drive videos match my experience around clarity, automatic light compensation, and audio.

    Mounting
    RedTiger supplies 2 pieces of what they call electrostatic film that goes between your windshield and the 3M super-sticky adhesive on the GPS module. (You just slide the camera off the GPS module during installation.) The film has moderate but very effective adhesive on the windshield side. Repositioning the camera without the film would result in destruction of the 3M sticky. Repositioning with the film involved simply peeling the film off the windshield and re-sticking.

    I’m now on my 3rd reposition.

    Position 1 gave me a viewpoint that contained a whole lot of the rear view mirror mount on the left of the image. This cam is REALLY wide angle. Moved it an inch or so to the right, thanks to the film, and no more mirror mount close-ups.

    Then I discovered that the dotted top-of-windshield shading on my 2003 Toyota Avalon’s windshield seriously blocked acquisition of GPS satellites. My theory is that the dots are metallic frit burned onto the glass rather than plain old silkscreen ink, and the metal content is absorbing/blocking the GPS signals.

    Position 3 now puts the GPS module on clear glass about 1/32″ inch below the dotted shading. GPS signal acquisition is now as fast as it’s going to be (takes some time) and once locked in, it stays locked in for the duration of the trip.

    My experience is that, after car start, it’s about 3 minutes of driving or about 2 miles before the GPS location and ground speed kicks in.

    Controls
    WIth a camera this small, there’s no real estate for tons of buttons. This means that every button has multiple functions that depend on what you’re doing at the moment. The manual, which is very good, is about as clear as you can get around this, but you should expect a bit of a learning curve.

    The only way out is through — spending time working out how to alter settings, take a snapshot, manually turn off the camera, find the configuration of the many options, and so on. Alternatively you can just go with the factory defaults: video begins recording when power reaches the camera, drive segment files are 1 minute long (there is no lag between each successive MP4 1-min. file), resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels at 30 frames per second.

    Customer service:
    Via email. It is top-drawer support whose access point in the US is in Colorado.

    I found RedTiger’s service VERY responsive and got replies in 12 hours. In my case, the manual was a tad ambiguous around repositioning, whether you pulled the GPS sticky off the film or the film off the windshield (it’s the latter). Rose immediately sent me new 3M stickies and electrostatic films free, so I’ll be able to reposition this cam till the cows come home.

    SD Card
    The manual recommends at least a Samsung 64 GB micro SD Class 10 U3 card. I’m finding that a (cheaper) Best Buy Samsung 128 GB Class 10 U1 card is working just fine. The manual cautions you not to turn to eBay or Amazon for the micro SD to avoid getting stuck with poor-performing fakes.

    The Android App
    To connect, I found I had to get away from any WiFi that I already had saved. In may case, this was a distant corner on an out-of-the-way strip mall parking lot. It’s cool to see what the camera’s seeing and to do rudimentary file diving.

    But transmission is too slow for downloading files from the F7N to the Android. For that, you’re going to want to pop the micro SD card out and use a card reader, either OTC for the phone or USB for computers. Don’t drop the card in your car because there are dozens of nooks and crannies for it to hide itself. It never falls in plain sight. As me how I know….

    Summary
    I think it’s a really good camera at what has become a low-middle range of price. I spent a long time watching those YouTube car crash / idiot driver videos, looking at the time stamps at the bottom of the images, figuring out which brands had the best images. Then, because I’m cheap, I cross-ruffed against price — the high-end cams are about as good as this RedTiger F7N… for 2.5-3x the RedTiger price.

    I had my camera installed in January of this year 2022. It was working very well. But suddenly it just stopped working. It just shut down. I’m extremely disappointed because I expected this to last me for a long time. However I contacted the supplier who was willing to send a replacement camera. So I can say that the customer service was excellent. I will follow up when the new camera arrives and is installed.
    UPDATE…The new camera arrived and so far so good. As I mentioned before, the Customer Service has been very good and I hope that everything will continue to work well.

    First of all you guys have a wonderful system. I own the F7N 4K Dash Cam. I’ve had it installed for several months, works extremely well. It’s installed on a Toyota Sequoia and when I installed the rear cam the rear windshield wasn’t working at the time so I wired over the track. Got the rear windshield fixed and I accidentally broke the rear camera. Sent them an email about purchasing a new rear camera, immediately responded and offered to replace it along with the cable. Wonderful company

    Only used the camera for about 30 or 40 minutes of recording time so far but it appears to be a pretty decent camera for its price point. The night time recording quality could be better but its acceptable. I’m using a 128gb Samsung SD card and no issues. I contacted the seller and asked about a suction cup mount and he promptly sent me a suction mount at no charge. Very impressive customer service. So far I’m feeling good about this purchase. Should that feeling change I will try and update this review.

    I had issue with the footage and the app BUT LET ME TELL YOU Rose from customer service, has been the best customer service rep I have EVER encountered !!!
    Because of Rose and this company customer service and care , I will be recommending the redtiger dash cam to everyone I know!!!!
    I found after speaking to Rose that 32GB card worked best for the dash cam VS the higher gig card that Amazon recommended to purchase with the camera .

    Ever since they sent me a new camera to replace the original that was having mishaps i have no complaints ! It is working flawless ! The download time for a video is a little longer then wanted however if it’s an emergency and you need it, trust and believe you want to wait for it to download the quality is wonderful and it’s insurance for yourself !

    BUY IT !

    After about a months use I’m very happy to say I love this dashcam.. It was extremely easy to install via cigarette light power source. I received tips from the many YouTube videos. Appropriately a half an hour to install. I installed the front cam on a old radar detector mounting bracket attached to mirror, due to the fact I use a front window sun screen. Wires were no problem tucking behind head linner and door panels. Setting up cam features was equally easy very user friendly. Resolution of this unit front and back are incredibly sharp and vivid.
    I would highly recommend to all to get this dashcam. More bang for less bucks.

    Because it was my first time having a dash cam, I did quite a bit of research and reading. This dash cam seemed to have all the features I needed and then some. The reviews were also positives. I received it and it was extremely easy to install. The features are just as advertised. The packaging look luxurious, the product itself very well made and designed. The setup was so easy as the default selection were what I would had selected, I only had to change my time zone, all the other setup options were already maximized and matching my preferences. I am extremely satisfied with the product and will highly recommend it.
    After placing the order for this dash cam, I contacted the manufacturer/seller with a few questions and accessories. They replied very quickly. Their English is actually very good. They bent over backwards to provide me with the highest level of customer support and made sure I was satisfied. This was by far the best customer support I have experienced from any of my numerous online purchases.

    I have been wanting a dash cam for quite a while. I bought this particular one because it was on sale and has front and rear cameras. However, my fault, when I purchased it, I didn’t pay attention to the power source. It’s powered by a cigarette lighter adapter. My car does not have one. Instead of just returning it, I contacted customer service and within two days I received a kit to have the cameras hard wired into my fuse box. This is something I had my husband’s mechanic do as none of us were comfortable running the wires under the ceiling of my car. The mechanic was able to get it done in a couple hours and he told my husband he could not believe the picture quality in the camera. He said it’s crystal clearand it is!!!

    The camera is fine. However, it comes with a cable hard wired on a 12v socket power converter. My car’s socket is always on, which will drain the battery after the car is turned off. Therefore, I need a USB cable. I contacted their customer service. There were quick to respond and said they will ship a cable to me. Unfortunately, they misunderstood my request and sent me another 12v socket converter… They later explained that they do not have USB cables. I need to find one by myself.

    Please separate the power converter from the cable. There are plenty of 12v converters that give a USB output.

I sent an email to the address in the User Manual and they replied very promptly and sent out a new rear camera. They followed up with me every few days to see if it worked and I was satisfied.

    I then figured out that it wasn’t the rear camera at fault, but the jack where it plugs into the main unit. So they swiftly sent a new main unit and, again, followed up to ensure everything worked.

    Everything works perfectly now. I put a 1 TB card in there since it can record both front and rear views simultaneously at high resolution. Customer Service was 5-star!!! Didn’t cost me a penny to get the replacement or to return the defective unit.

    I highly recommend this seller and this product. Cheers!

    I guess buying cheap garbage on Amazon for so many years has made me jaded and cynical, and therefore I wasn’t expecting a whole lot with this product. I was truly shocked. The picture quality is FANTASTIC. I got this camera because I drive in a city where traffic laws all but go out the window and 7am to 8pm is anarchy.

    The camera quality is fantastic. You can very easily see license plates at daytime and still pretty good at night (the night vision is great too). Using their special video player, you can also see the exact location of your vehicle as it drives, and the speedometer is pretty accurate too. They sent the hardwire kit to me for free and it works exactly as expected.

    Tl;dr: if you’re looking for a dash cam to save you from insurance fraud and other sticky situations on the road, THIS IS THE WAY TO GO.

    Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe day-time picture quality is good. You can read license plates that are no more than 10 feet away from the front camera or the rear camera. Like all the other dashcams the night-time recording is not clear enough to capture license plates, but you can see other vehicles, etc.

    The parking mode required the use of the hard-wire kit. Installing the kit according to directions was simple enough.

    When I first tried to setup the parking mode I only got an error that the acc/down kit was required. I contacted support. Powering down the dashcam while in the parking screen, removing the microSD card, erasing the card, powering on the dashcam with no microSD card, powering down, installing the microSD card, powering back on. The dash cam now records in parking mode correctly.

    The parking mode (48-hour setting) on my 256GB card only used 20GB over a 12 hour period. It does not record at the full fps, but it captures the relevant details you would need.

    Contacting support via e-mail they were good as responding within 24 hours.

    I like that it comes with a GPS and can be removed (partially) from the windshield to make cleaning easier.

I definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a DashCam for your vehicles. The installation was smooth and very easy to do. The quality of the videos are perfect for the use and the size of the dash cam was great to fit under my rearview mirror. I only had 2 issues and one was fixed soon after by receiving a new rear cam. One version of the Dashcam comes with a rear camera that has a limited angle of viewing. They sell an alternate rear cam that has more angle flexibility and solved this problem. The other concern I had was to add a future encryption capability and/or PW ability to the SD card and camera in case of theft. I plan on ordering another dash cam soon.

    Dashcam:
    The camera was super easy to setup and format the SD card. Installation was easy as well. The view captures the entire front on the car. The screen saver is nice as to not distract from driving. It does record in 1/3/5 minute increments but from my understanding it is to help overwite old data that is not locked so it is always recording. Never miss any new recording. It also informs the user to reformat every so often which makes sense to help with keep the card from filling up constantly.
    Back camera:
    I have yet to set this up and will return to update my review once I become more familiar with the product.
    App:
    Work in progress. Was easy to understand how to connect the cam to the app just have not played around inside the app too much as of yet. Will return to update review when I am more familiar with the app.
    Customer Service:
    Customer Service has been a big help with the questions I have sent them and have responded within a timely manner. They are really understanding of their customer’s needs and will help you in any way that they are capable of.

    I am still new to this product as in the time I have had this camera. I love the functions and easy of using this product.

    I am not a professional reviewer so will not go on and on. that being said.
    the Good: not bad to set up and plenty of wire to get the job done. checked the recordings and very nice, high quality so just what i was hoping for. I ran into a problem and the CS was very good and response was quick.
    the Bad: 1- they outsourced the connection to the cell phone (instead of their own software) that I was never, never able to get to work no matter what i did incl CS help on line Youtube and this included using several cell phones. would just not work. not happy, but not a deal breaker as to me this was just extra. still would have been nice. 2- the rear camera only comes up on the screen and is recording about 50% of the time. CS told me to just unplug and plug back in the rear camera connector. Does not work. i had to move the rear camera and when touched it then it worked again immediately so there is probably a loose connector in the rear camera and it is hard wired so no adjustment. i start the car drive down the road and about 1/2 the time it is working. Working, not working, working, not working. off and on all the time. can’t do anything about it. was going to buy this as a gift for a friend of mine as i really liked it when i 1st got it. not now.
    Not 1 problem, but 2 problems so would not buy again. CS tried to help, but after their help still can’t get the cell phone to connect and rear camera still working only 1/2 the time no rhyme or reason. Will keep for a little while then will replace with diff mfg. can’t take a chance. sorry to go on, but very frustrated as I bought this to replace another brand (Aukey 4K dash cam with 6 lane wide angle lens with SanDisk High Endurance Video 64K card) and was in an accident and Police viewed the memory card and was black and said “file corrupt”. recorded all the videos before the accident perfect and clear. PISSED! Really PISSED! tossed it the wires and memory card all out and bought this. i NEED This to WORK and do its job. Like a fire extinguisher. Period.

    UPDATE: i have been contacted by their customer support and there was a problem with the connection to the rear camera. they sent out a replacement and refund. camera works and just could not get the wireless part to work, but have changed it from a 2 star to a 4 star as it works and very good customer service. contacted me and follow up with emails until it was straightened out. I did a ton of research before buying and delayed purchasing for quite some time. While I’m sure some of the competitor models are good, I finally decided on the REDTIGER 4K front/rear dashcam. I liked this one for the features and the great feedback I saw. REDTIGER dashcam shows very clear images, has Bluetooth and GPS capability, and a parking mode if hardwired (I didn’t do that part yet, but I’m about to). Installation is on the right side of the rear view mirror and that actually is good since you don’t want to be gawking at the camera and not at the road. I just connected it to my iPhone today using the UCAM app and it worked flawlessly. Great field of view, clarity, and smoothness. If I wanted to take a photo or save the video, it was just a press of a button on the phone. I was very impressed.

    Installation was ridiculously simple and that part startled me because I am not usually adept at this type of thing. Except for the 2-3 inches of wires by camera, the wiring is totally invisible. I do recommend going on YouTube and watching how to install the rear camera on a hatchback to get the wiring in the correct location.

    Customer service was exceptional!! I had purchased the dashcam for $149.99 along with a hardwire kit to use the cam in parking mode that was paired with the cam for another $18.99. The dash cam comes with a 32GB mini-card, but I upgraded to a 256GB mini-card. Well, the paired hardwiring kit had the wrong plug so it had to go back. While looking on Amazon, I saw a new deal for the exact same REDTIGER 4K dashcam for $118.99. I asked Amazon for a credit, but they said I had to return the unit and reorder. So I reordered the dashcam, but I decided to wait on the wiring. The new unit came in the next day, but it did not have the 32GB mini card. I received an email from Ms. Shelly, REDTIGER representative, who was concerned that I had a poor experience. I explained that wasn’t true; I simply couldn’t get a credit from Amazon. I told her the hardwiring kit wasn’t correct and the mini-card was missing on the new unit. Ms. Shelly from REDTIGER immediately apologized profusely and said the company would make it right. She was professional, patient, and knowledgeable – very customer service-friendly. I asked about an extention cable to the rear of the van and the cost because I wasn’t sure the supplied rear camera cable would be long enough (I hadn’t installed it yet). But REDTIGER company promptly sent me one free of charge! As it turns out, the original cable was just long enough, but if I decide to reconfigure the cable location, this extension will come in handy. Oh, and they also gave me a new hardwiring kit free, AND gave me a credit for the missing 32GB mini-card, even though I said it was ok because I had purchased the 256GB card. I offered to pay for the wires up front, but they wouldn’t hear of it. The point is that REDTIGER, through Ms. Shelly, provided OUTSTANDING and PROMPT customer service. They didn’t have to reach out, but they did. They didn’t have to be concerned, but they were. They didn’t have to provide the accessories for free, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. They went out of their way to make it right, and they weren’t even the ones at fault!! And Shelly is simply the BEST!! She demonstrated the company really cares.

    I cannot speak to the folks who didn’t enjoy this dashcam, and here’s hoping it works for a long time (it’s not even close to hot outside yet). But I am absolutely thrilled with both the cam and the company. I highly recommend this brand and trust me, it usually takes a lot for this old Air Force retiree to recommend anything – this was my experience. Sure glad I bought this REDTIGER dash cam.

    ADDENDUM: After about 6 weeks, I did experience an issue with the camera not synching with my new phone. I contacted REDTIGER and Ms. Shelly was genuinely concerned and immediately sent me a new unit. This new dash cam works perfectly and I am grateful for the absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service AFTER the sale. This is the customer service one would expect from all sellers, but we all know that doesn’t always happen. I mean, how many times have you read where customers got stiffed because it was after the return window? I can testify that mine was after the return window, too – But REDTIGER stands by their product and made it right without any hassles. They just took care of the problem. My new unit arrived exactly 24 hours after the conversation with Shelly. I stand by my earlier comments that I am so glad I bought the REDTIGER dash cam. This one is working just fine.

I also would like to turn off the annoying boot music, but can’t. Also, the sticky tape provided for the rear camera is useless. It wouldn’t stick to anything. Had to go and buy quality 3M tape that worked perfectly. Lastly, the camera app and how it integrates are clunky. It should be an easy thing to do and instead, you have to go into the menu and turn on Wifi each time to connect. I wish this was more polished for the price. The Pamlico that I bought 5 years ago was very well executed on all fronts. Probably should have bought from them again.

    UPDATE: Had some issues with the unit and support was OUTSTANDING. Seriously, I didn’t know support this good still existed these days. They genuinely want you to have a good experience and go over and above to resolve your issues. I am thoroughly impressed, which is hard to do. Definitely would buy their products again.

I bought the hardwire kit that was in the “frequently bought with” and it seems most bought the wrong thing. This needs a micro USB and not a mini. I sent that one back.     This dashcam was very easy and straightforward to install. It even came with a tool to help fish the wires under the trim. Image quality is very good in both bright sunlight as well as at night. For the price, this camera is a great value and very well built. If I get a second camera for another car I will absolutely be getting a Redtiger dashcam. The app connected right away and is easy to navigate (note the app is not labeled Redtiger but is the top app when you search for it). Overall I am very pleased with the quality of this dashcam.

    Bought the Redtiger F7N dash cam dual front & rear cameras; along with 256GB Samsung memory card; along with its Hardwire Kit on 27 JAN 2022. Great price. Fast delivery. Easy assembly. Owners guide or instructions really needs rewriting/updating. Some steps are missing or inadequate or hard to understand. Text/print are microscopic for a 70 YO person. Instructions for Hardwire Kit is useless. Problems solved 2 ways. FIRST: Viewed lotsa YOUTUBE vids regarding installation – understanding how to voltage check car fuses & selecting where to plug in the RED & YELLOW fuse-wires, etc, etc; how to playback the videos on the dash cam; how to verify your settings. SECONDLY, here’s the BEST part, Redtiger has ultra GREAT customer service (especially Rep, SHELLY). She came back with EMAIL answers and help super quick (1 to 1 1/2 days), all of which made for easy installation. Customer service email address is right in first page of Owners manual. Being very satisfied with the F7N dash cam AND customer service, I bought TWO more F7Ns as gifts for my kids cars.

    I really like this dash camera with a few exceptions. The Dash Cam is very easy to setup and use. I installed the “Hardware kit” so I could use the Park feature (this installation took me most of a day since it was my first time doing one). One thing that I believe could be improved it the frame rate when using 4k on the front camera. Also, I wanted an extra mount to use in my motorhome and I couldn’t find one, so I contacted the seller through Amazon and they sent me one, very nice and helpful in that regard. I still believe they should offer extra mounts for sale. Overall, I believe it is a very good value and very easy to use.

    UPDATE: After posting this review the company promptly reached out to me and were very cooperative and helpful. They quickly fixed this issue and even went beyond that. This was definitely the BEST experience I’ve ever had with customer service due to: how fast everything was handled, how nice the representative was that handled our case, and the company taking the initiative to reach out to me to fix it. Additionally the company asked for suggestions to improve their products and genuinely want to use our feedback to improve their products and experiences for their customers. I cannot speak highly enough about this company and I will DEFINITELY be prioritizing them when making similar purchases in the future.

    As for the product, everything has worked perfectly for me. The quality of the video is good, plenty of options to customize how you want your video to be recorded, and the wires and cameras were easy to install with the kit they provided!
