Preiswertes und gutes Treppenschutznetz bzw. Gitter 🕸️
Bei Kindern ist ein Treppenschutz unabdingbar, egal ob Kleinkind oder ein lteres schlafwandelndes Kind. Aus diesem Grund habe ich auf zwei Stockwerken jeweils ein Gitter montiert.
Was sollte man bei der Montage beachten?:
Je nachdem wo man diesen Treppenschutz montieren mchte, muss man vor dem Bohren prfen, dass sich in der Wand kein Kabel befindet, wo man reinbohrt.
Ich kannte das Problem bereits vom unteren Stockwerk, hier musste ich mit einem zustzlichen Balken arbeiten, damit ich kein Kabel treffe.
Das bentigte Montagematerial wird mitgeliefert, so dass alles zur Montage, was bentigt wird vorhanden ist.
Prfen sollte man:
Nicht ideal, im Vergleich zu den Holz- und Metallgittern ist, dass man das Netz etwas drcken und so bewegen kann. Dies ist jedoch unbedenklich ist, da es insgesamt fest bleibt und das Kind nicht runterfallen kann.
Klasse ist, dass es sich bis maximal 150cm ausfahren lsst, so dass es fr alle Treppenbreiten und Gren geeignet ist.
Fazit:
Flexibles und ausreichend langes Netz, was sich gut montieren lsst. Von mir gibt es eine Kaufempfehlung
Für kleinere Hunde okay
Meine Mutter hat bislang Trschutzgitter zum einklemmen im Trrahmen verbaut, um ihren kleinen Hund auch mal einsperren zu knnen (da das Haus sehr eng und klein ist, sind einige Tren ausgebaut, um etwas mehr Raum zu gewinnen). Da diese Klemmgitter unten eine Stange haben, und diese schon hin und wieder eine Stolperfalle fr meine Mutter waren, wollten wir nun auf ein solches Trschutzgitter umrsten.
Der Karton kam ein wenig ramponiert hier an, der Inhalt war allerdings unbeschdigt und vollzhlig vorhanden.
Fr die Montage sollte man sich etwas Zeit nehmen, wenn es gut werden soll, was in der Natur der Sache liegt. Ich habe das Gitter alleine montiert bekommen, und das in annehmbarer Zeit.
Grundlegend erfllt das Trschutzgitter seinen Zweck, und meine Mutter kann es auch mit ihrer Arthrose in den Hnden gut bedienen. Der kleine Hund ist damit zuverlssig ein- oder auszusperren, bei sehr groen Hunden knnte es sein, dass die mit gengend krimineller Energie einen Ausbruch schaffen.

Easy Install Hide a Gate
This gate is perfect for my stairwell to keep my senior dog from going upstairs.
It stands fairly high at about 3 feet tall, and easily extends across my stairwell opening.
It’s a “permanent” install with screws, which is fine for my needs. The hardware seems to be holding up well so far with only one touch up after daily use for 2 months.
It really is really easy to open and close by “unlocking” the ends from the wall hanger hooks.
It is sturdy while in use, and when not in use, retracts with minimal interference of my home’s appeal.
Overall, a good investment for those with pups or little ones who don’t mind it not being moveable.

FAZIT:
Das Rollgitter hat gegenber anderen Systemen zwei groe Vorteile, im geffneten Zustand nimmt es keinen Platz weg, da es aufgerollt wird und es kann fr die verschiedensten Breiten verwendet werden. Prinzipiell macht es einen stabilen Eindruck, dennoch wrde ich es nicht fr Treppen einsetzen. Und da es in der Wand verankert werden muss, ist es fr gemietete Wohnungen/Huser natrlich keine gute Wahl. BEDINGTE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG

Da wir regelmig Kinder zu Besuch haben und ich keine Lust darauf habe, stndig darauf achten zu mssen, dass keines der Kinder die Treppen herunterfllt, habe ich das Trschutzgitter der Marke Wiscky zum Testen geordert.

Eigentlich ist das Trschutzgitter klasse und seine Montage super einfach. Auch macht das Gitter an fr sich einen gut verarbeiteten sowie robusten Gesamteindruck. Allerdings bin ich mir nicht sicher, wie Widerstandsfhig die Wandbefestigung beim Dagegenspringen ist. Entsprechend wrde ich das Gitter zwar als Raumteiler”, jedoch nicht als Treppensturzschutz verwenden oder empfehlen.

Wir haben gerade Nachwuchs bekommen und mssen das Haus kindersicher machen.
Nach einem Steckdosenschutz steht ein Treppenschutz ganz oben auf meiner Liste.
Da wir eine offene Treppe auf so einem Metallgestell haben, fielen die meisten Gitter durch.
Nach langer Suche habe ich dieses Rollo entdeckt. Absolut perfekt fr uns. 150cm breit. Super. Die meisten sind ca. 100cm und wren nicht viel zu kurz. Ausserdem ist unser Flur seeeehr klein und ein Gitter das sich aufklappen lsst wrde einfach nicht passen.
Man kann das Rollo feststellen und so verhindern dass es durch Kinder ei gedrckt werden kann.
Das Rollo kam super verpackt an und ganz schnell an.
Eine Beschreibung (auf englisch) liegt bei und ist sehr leicht zu verstehen.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhltnis ist fr mich absolut passend.

It is nice and sturdy. We have it secured into the walls. Worth it for first time moms. Worth the price. It is easy to set it up and take down if and when needed.

The Best Baby Gate We Have Tried! Love The Retractable Design!
Our old baby gate was extremely bulky, hard to lock and very unsafe when it was open. It was extra wide so it had a big swing and featured locking bolts on the end of the gate that stuck straight out to connect it to the clips on the opposite side. I was so worried that it was going to hit my kids in the face or take someone’s eye out because the bolts were the exact height for babies and toddlers so get hurt. This one is fully retractable so there is no need to worry about a large swing or clips/parts sticking out. It neatly rolls into itself and is very inconspicuous when it’s not in use.
It is perfect for unusual placements or weird angles where regular straight gates wouldn’t work. We have a weird opening to our mudroom that isn’t even/straight across so this gate allows us to get the right angle. I like that the length is customizable so you don’t have to buy a particular set length or fuss around with the expansion mechanisms to get the perfect fit. It is very versatile and I like that I have the option to move it somewhere else later on because it isn’t a set size. It works great for even surfaces or the bottom of the stairs but I wouldn’t recommend putting it at the top of a set of stairs because it is fabric after all and isn’t as strong as the ones that are made for stair use.
We have also tried one of those accordion style gates in the past but this retracts (instead of folding) which provides a much cleaner, less bulky look. My kids aren’t interested in playing with it when it is open like they were with the accordion style.
It easily pulls out with one hand and clips securely into place. It has a lock mechanism on the main side (opposite side to the clips) that is also very easy to lock and unlock with one hand. I also like the look of this gate and the grey colour is very attractive in person. I do wish it came in white too though.
Overall, I am thrilled with this gate and only wish I had it sooner! It is extremely versatile, easy to use, and is much safer than our old gate. Highly recommend!

This is a really clever design for a baby / pet gate. It doesn’t take up much space when not in use and provide a very effective barrier that’s flexible in length and can extend up to 150cm.
It does require some hardware to be installed on both sides of the wall but it’s not too intrusive. The hooks that the handles of the barrier will latch onto both need to be screwed into the wall. And of course the main tube of the roll-up barrier also needs to be attached to the opposite side of the wall. Alignment is not too critical and the system is quite forgiving to not aligning everything exactly level.
There is a knob on the top of the roller-tube component that takes the tension off of the barrier and makes it impossible to unhook from the hooks attached to the opposite side of the wall. It’s nice that this is placed on the top since it’s very difficult for small children to reach and turn.
We personally ended up using this barrier for our dog with great success. It deploys and packs up very quickly and easily. It doesn’t take up very much space when it’s not deployed. It’s also just a safer design because it can’t be knocked over on somebody since it has next to no weight and is firmly attached to the wall.
We would definitely recommend it and have already recommended it to our friends who are also pet owners. It would also work very well for babies and small children. It’s a superior design to rigid gates, especially if you have the option of making holes in your walls.

We really like this baby gate and it beats the hand-me-down solid plastic one we used to have. It it sturdy and I love that when it is retracted, it is neat and looks quite clean. The material is strong and it perfectly effective for small dogs.

I installed this at the base of the stairwell to keep my dogs downstairs. I had thought that they might sneak under the material and still get through, but they have not even been tempted- even the little one. Much easier to operate the retractable gate than a solid gate, plus it’s completely out of the way and barely noticeable when open.

Wir sind super zufrieden mit dem Trschutzgitter. Es ist perfekt, nicht nur fr den Kleinen, sondern auch fr den Hund 🙂 Somit kann man einfach ein paar Bereiche oder Stiegen absperren.

Gut, aber nicht perfek
Wir setzen dieses Trschutz”rollo” dafr ein, um unseren kleineren Hund davon abzuhalten unerlaubt unsere Treppe zu erklimmen. Die meisten Hunde knnten zwar grundstzlich auch darber springen (was das Verletzungsrisiko eher noch vergreren wrde), aber ein entsprechend gut erzogener und trainierter Hund wird genau das nie tun. Unserer akzeptiert das geschlossene “Gitter” ohne wenn und aber als Reviergrenze.
Die Montage mit Verschraubungen in der Wand erfordert natrlich etwas Zeit und Aufwand, aber das Ergebnis berzeugt. Die Lsung sind unserer Meinung nach dezenter und schner aus als klassische Gitter, und ist auch recht leicht und schnell bedient. Nicht ideal dabei vielleicht, dass zwei Punkte eingehakt werden mssen, und einer davon eben sehr weit unten. Die Bedienung ist damit nicht sehr ergonomisch, da sich zumindest grer gewachsene Leute beim Einhaken gelegentlich recht tief bcken mssen. Das Einhaken weit oben angefasst gelingt nicht immer sofort, bzw. ist etwas fummelig. Das kann ein herkmmliches Trschutzgitter mit Scharnier und Verrieglung nur am oberen Ende besser, und schliet je nach Modell auch automatisch. Was die bessere Lsung ist, entscheidet wohl der Einsatzzweck und die persnliche Vorliebe.
Qualitt und Verarbeitung finden wir sehr berzeugend, das Preis- / Leistungsverhltnis ebenfalls. Da wir die perfekte Lsung fr alle Einsatzzwecke noch nicht gefunden haben, zhlt diese Lsung sicher zu den besseren, und ist eine Kaufempfehlung wert.

Der Karton ist berraschend kompakt und auch der Lieferumfang ist berschaubar.
Mir gefllt, dass das “Gitter” komplett vormontiert ist – so ist es einfach schneller montiert und man muss nicht unntig das Gitter an sich zusammenbasteln. Das Design ist zweckmig und die Verarbeitung ausnahmslos hochwertig.
Das Gitter muss nach gut einer Woche nachgestellt werden, aber lsst es sich sehr gut ffnen. Unser Kleiner hat es bis jetzt nicht von alleine ffnen knnen.

Not the cheapest on the market, but decent built quality and look.
Is this the lowest rock bottom price you can find on the market? Far from it, it would appear the rabbit hole goes much deeper than that.. But what you want to factor in when considering one of these mesh gates is the overall build quality and design of the unit you’re considering. This one hits all the high points in terms of durability, well thought out design, look/feel, build quality. Unfortunately, it can still stand to fall within a lower price bracket. Perhaps the seller should offer a coupon/discount of some sort to engage with the wider market of thrifty consumers.
Overall I’m particularly fond of the color and overall look of this unit. It’s a safe gray fabric mesh than can blend in just about anywhere. I love the neutral gray accent when it comes to these types of materials and applications. What I also can appreciate with these types of retractable mesh units is that it’s perfectly customizable for to varying lengths of openings – as opposed to the gated types which either come in fixed lengths giving you very little wiggle room to work with. And if you’re considering the accordion style gates, even those have low thresholds in comparison, not to mention they’re not suitable/safe near stairways and other areas since they’re much more prone to collapse.
Speaking of safety, keep in mind this is still a mesh-like fabric, and it should be treated as such. Although well made and durable, it’s still prone – albeit not very easily – to rips/tears/punctures. As such I wouldn’t recommend it for “wild” large animals. The locking mechanism and/or frame isn’t full proof either with a large impact or when hit just the right way. Given the mesh material I wouldn’t fully trust it as a gateway for stairs or any other area that could be dangerous if this product were to ever fail. It’s definitely better suited for “safer” areas you want partitioned off or blocked.

Das Schutzgitter bzw. wohl eher das Schutzrollo” ist um einiges cooler als ich dachte.
– Es ist super stabil und wertig verarbeitet
– Der Rollo-Auszug macht einen sehr langlebigen Eindruck
– Farbe und Beschaffenheit sind modern und haben nichts mehr mit einem Holzgitter gemein
– Mehr Flexibilitt im Vergleich, da das Rollo auf die Gewnschte lnge ausgezogen wird, und nicht fr jeden Bereich ein genau passendes Gitter angefertigt werden muss.
– Robustes Netz sorgt fr Sicherheit
– Platzsparend bei nicht-verwendung

Im Vergleich kommt das Rollogitter super weg — vor allem die Flexibilitt ist hervorragend, das Gitter passt fast berall & ist auch noch flott eingepackt, wenn es auf Reisen geht.

We use a baby gate at our front door in the warm months to allow a nice breeze to come through, yet keep our dog in, but it’s a pain in the hiney to keep taking it on and off the door frame – and on more than one occasion he managed to bump it out of the doorframe all together.
This retractable baby gate is amazing and was the exact solution we were looking for, it is so easy to install and works perfectly to keep him corralled where we want him.

I’ve used a handful of these to keep dogs out of some rooms when required, and honestly they work great. Installation is super easy – couple screws into the wall on each side and done.
I will note, it does stick out a little bit when not in use, but it’s not enough to be an issue even in most thin doorways.
Material used is excellent and I expect it’ll hold up to a lot of abuse for quite a long time.

This is a really good baby gate, we use it to prevent the little one from falling down the stairs, she is a fast one. This was easy to install to the top railings and wall and the mesh is strong even when she basically throws herself against it.

One of the annoying things about baby gates is that when you take it down you have to put it somewhere. This retractable gate solves that problem, and works great. The gate rolls away when not in use, not taking up much space at all. You simply have to life the hooks off of their holders and it will simply roll away.

It is so easy to open and close. We were able to adjust the height so cat can get in underneath it to eat her food, but narrow enough that the dog cannot get in the room and get into her food or cat litter.

I purchased this product for the bottom of my stairs as we dont have much space from the stairs to the front door so a traditional opening safety gate wouldnt have been ideal. Fantastic product. Packaged well. Easy to fit and use.

We needed to block off an awkward and narrow hallway to our front entrance so our dog would not spend all day barking at people trough the front door window. We had been leaning a baby gate against the wall but it was really not a great solution.
This retractable gate worked wonders for this. The installation was super easy with a lot of leeway. It’s good enough for our dog (she’s a 100lb Rottweiler but she respects gates)
I would recommend this anywhere that has non-aligned walls or needs an easy retractable gate where you don’t need a super strong gate (ex avoid top of stairs but bottom of stairs is probably ok)

Il s’ouvre facilement d’une seule main. Il se replie sans effort de faon automatique et prend trs peu d’espace quand on ne l’utilise pas. Il est trs rigide, est empche l’enfant d’aller aux escaliers de faon efficace.

The latch broke after a few months of outdoor everyday use. I wrote the seller and they immediately sent out a replacement part. I like this baby gate (used for dogs) better than a different brand I bought because its easier to operate with one hand. Installation wasn’t a chore if you have common DIY skills. Kudos to the brand and seller for the product support!!

Our two big dogs respect it and it works like a charm. However it is mesh and retractable if your dog wants to get through, it will.

Minimalist look, functional although not for big strong dogs
We installed this gate at the bottom of the stairs to stop our 70lb dog from going upstairs. It works for this purpose, mostly because our dog knows she’s not supposed to and this gate is a reminder of that. Because this gate is made with flexible fabric and is on a spring retraction system, it has a lot of give. If the lock is not on, our dog putting her front legs on the gate is enough pressure to lower the gate to the point that she could easily get over. If we lock the gate and she puts her weight on it, we worry that it would pull so much on the handrails which the hooks were secured to that the rails could break. So we typically don’t lock it and instead just trained our dog not to jump on it (still working on).
That said, we like the minimalist look of the gate, and the fact that when we don’t use it when the dog is not around, it can retract back into the pole and does not take up any physical space. It does the job of keeping our dog off the stairs. If I had to choose again I’d still get this gate over other regular metal gates. But be aware if you have big dogs that like to jump, this won’t stop them.

This gate was ordered to keep our dog downstairs with my daughter for a few hours. We tried barricading using boxes etc., but she could still get up the stairs.
I wanted some thing that would close right up and not be in the way when we weren’t using it, and this fit Bill!
It works well, she can’t get up the stairs now however it doesn’t quite zip back nice and neat and tight like I’d like it to. I do need to feed it back manually the last few inches

Not sure I like how in latches to other side ..mainly cause you need both hands to do it . But I think with time you can learn to do just one hand and May get easier .But other than that it’s very nice and works grea

Really practical! I wish I bought one years ago, no more walking into open gates or struggling to get through with bags, completely retractable and covers a really wide width. Quality is good and the height is impressive, I’m also really pleased it’s slightly see through. I’m not sure how sturdy this would be for a larger breed but this is perfect for my Pomeranians, they’re claws don’t mark the fabric when they jump up either.
This is my second gate of this type. One handed open and close so helpful. Not having to bend even better. It looses one star from the last one, (different brand,) because netting screen has folded multiple times. Not hard to pull screen forward and unfold but am concerned the crease forming may become an issue in future. Still, yes, over hard gates. I would recommend.

We like how long it is, the dogs can see through but not able to push through as retraction is very strong, also there is a lock so that if they jump and lean on the top it doesn’t collapse. The stuff it is made of is very strong same as the dog/windbreak I have is made of the same stuff.
Nice baby gate but it could never get tight enough to stop my dog from just barging underneath at will.

I bought it for my one year old baby. The purpose was child safety and money well spent. its very secure product. Easy installation in minutes. Good thing is that it is different from other gates. Goes very well with your place. Very strong, fixed inside the wall. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and will like to recommend it.

This is absolutely perfect if you just need to block the view of the door of remind the dog not to follow you! It’s absolutely perfect for our purposes but I imagine if you have a dog that is determined and jumps up at it, it’s probably not going to be sufficient to prevent them unfortunately but as long as you are aware of this then go ahead and get it. We love it!

Bought this to keep my lab in one area of the house. She's doesn't jump on gates so it's fine. Not sure how it would hold up with a dogs nails jumping up on it. But it looks nice and it's ease to open and close. The locking feature is nice. Love it so far.

It’s nice and has served its purpose but you definitely need two hands to operate. The clips you use to secure it and close it to block and area suck. Replacing them with large metal screw hooks worked much better….

Swap longer screws to reach through the drywall into a structural member. Now rosk solid and secure. A second set of hooks would be helpful also. 3Ms Command Hangers work fine, don't trust the tape on those drill them in also. Will be using this product on the kitchen doorway also.

Perfect size for my 22lbs Schnauzer. I would have given it a 5/5 but mine came dented and paint scratched. If I’m paying $50 I expect it to come brand-new. I’m definitely keeping it because it’s super useful but not happy about the quality it came in.

Returned first one due to missing parts. Replacement is fine. Keeps 2 large dogs out of room. Wish they made one a little shorter but realize since this is really a kid item probably best as is.

The lock and latches are simplistic but durable enough. It gives you a level of flexible in the placement.
The issue I had is that I expected certain componented to be metal instead of plastics. I expected the housing and the latches to be metal. They were thick plastic which I hope holds up to the test of the elements but I would want those 2 things to be changes but otherwise it is a decent product for the price. I would

I'm using this to keep my dogs from rushing out the front door. Works great for mine but none are over 35 pounds, not sure how it would hold up to a bigger dog. The only thing I wish was that the instructions included the correct size drills for the screws and anchors; had to do a little trial and error but it worked out.

We bought a similar item as this before and it was ok but you had to unlock it every single time even if you just needed to get back and forth alot so I love that this one has a manual locking feature so we can easily go back and forth but lock it when we really need to. Sits lower to floor level and netting doesnt get all backed up so Im glad I choose this brand the 2nd time around.

This was easy to install! The plastic clips were broken off the wall in about 1 minute so I replaced them with a couple sturdy wall hooks. This made the gate perfect!

This Gate is decent! I like to use it outside in the porch since we have stairs that are kind of high on the porch!
It was easy to install requires screwing some pieces into rails or walls so it’s not easily moved but it is very durable! I love how it slides!

Works as shown but doesn't go to the floor, the small pets walk without ducking under the gate. Couldn't go any lower due to base boards and framing of the wall. Would be better if it adjust to walls.

Fairly straightforward and easy install for this gate that I bought to separate my dog and cat. It's an absolute lifesaver whenever the doorbell rings and I need to open the door for a second as it prevents my crazy dog drom attacking anyone at the door. The gate itself is very smooth and glides to open or close. I highly recommend!

Once installed, this is an extremely convenient and effective way to corral a small pet. A large dog might be able to jump over, or break through, this barrier, but it would take some effort to do so. Worth the cost and time to install properly (which is not that much time.)

*UPDATE: One year later and this is still being used daily. No problems with the recoil of the mesh or the hardware.
We have tall dogs and they can jump over a standard baby gate. We had to be creative stopping our dogs from going up the stairs to our office. We also had to be creative about how to mount this to spindles, not a wall application.
We used grippy pads and zipties to secure the gate unit to the left side and put the catches on the right. Again: grippy pads and zipties to the rescue. We put the zipties through the screw holes on the hardware and it was perfect for us.
This has excellent recoil and runs smoothly while you pull it out. It pulls evenly from the top and bottom, even when using the top guide only. the hardware is good quality and they’ve included guides for mounting with actual real-sized templates.
There are screws, drywall plugs and clear instructions. Very pleased.
