Pas de ralentissement l’utilisation, reprend le Bluetooth de la voiture pour ma part un BMW X1 f48 de 2018.

Artculo tal y como se describe, con fcil instalacin y soporte del vendedor en todo momento. Gracias a la actualizacin facilitada funciona por Bluetooth sin tener que dejar cables por fuera. Funcionamiento correcto.

Inizialmente non era abilitata la porta HDMI da menu…. ma dopo aver contattato il veditore e spiegato il problema mi ha inviato un aggiornamento da fare via usb e la presa e’ stata abilitata, quindi perso almenre mi sonk trovato bene anche con l’assistenza ppst vendita.

I ordered this item at contacting BMW to confirm with them the right one for my car and was told NBT. I was a little worried about trying to do my self and went to a car audio shop they wanted my to buy there system and 750 prices tag. After receiving items I tried to install in my with no success.
The contact that I got from Amazon was directly to the support team road top.
After some pictures sent to the I was told that it was the EVO system that I needed and not NBT that BMW had said. Reordering the correct unit I tried to refit. But some cables where not correct for my car and again I contacted road top and was sent the right cable that was needed. Eventually I succeeded in installing the unit and now have car play in my vehicle.
The online help was so helpful with out I would have given up and just had a refund. Google maps satnav is far better than BMW satnav. BMW would not upgrade my car so an after sales unit was my only option. It was so easy to fit with the instructions and right tools. (T25 screwdriver and a trim removal tool + a small flat head screwdriver) There is only one wire that need to be moved. From start to finish it took me 30 minutes and less after I had removed the first wrong unit.
Well worth every penny and the time it took
Does not work with the 2018 onwards BMW i3 as the Displays are made by Kyrocera. Only Innolux screens will work with these Chinese units

Was fairly easy to install and work pretty well. Phone fails to connect sometimes but is usually fixed with a reset using a long press of the back button on the centre console. Had it lock up a few times as well but again with a reset it sorts it out.

The hardware seems to be good and almost same as other expensive options as with the time I didn’t notice any difference to the performance.
It works as if it was built in, it works really fast via WiFi/USB. The car detects the iPhone and carplay gets activated automatically.
The installation was easy, I have also upgraded the screen and works better as there’s more space to be used. It also runs Android Auto very well in split-view.
It also has other options such as airplay (barely used), auto dark theme, support for USB video playback, external cameras and music EQ.
The best thing is that all buttons work from the steering wheel which translates into less distraction and more user friendly.
Finally, for around 250 Is a very good deal as it makes a huge impact to the car’a system making it smarter joyful.
The customer service is the best, as you can contact with RoadTop via WhatsApp in order to get new Updates in case there’s any issue – (no need otherwise, as carplay and AA comes from the smartphone and when the OS gets updated so it does the carplay and AA).
I would recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their in-car system, specially if you own an IPhone.
It almost seemed too good to be true. Just simply plugging in a box to get CarPlay in your car.
I bit the bullet, and it arrived yesterday. Went about undoing the 6 screws, removed the head unit, plugged it all in, and powered it up.
As if by magic, I had car play. No need for running extra aux cables or worrying about mic extensions. It just worked. Granted this isn’t the case for all BMW’s but I was fortunate enough to have a later f30 with all the right wires in the right places.
Took me about 10-15 mins to fit and I couldn’t be happier!

HOT TIP – Once you have fitted this, programme button 8 on your stereo as the AUX shortcut for your bmw iDrive system. After fitting the item, when you press and hold down button 8, you’ll be set to go to CarPlay.
Delivery – arrived a day earlier than anticipated, VERY well packaged and a smart looking box.
Communication – received an email to say I should contact them with any issues whilst fitting, and they’d resolve them. Great communication.
Fitting – there’s a few videos on YouTube, and I’d recommend the American one where a different brand module is fitted to an F30 (3 series). PAY ATTENTION TO HOW TO MOBE THE OPTICAL CABLE IN THE QUADLOCK. Overall, 5/5 for ease of wiring this module up. 3/5 to BMW for their too tight trim! Ran the aux and lightning cable into the armrest but the trim is tight! I did not need to fit anything for the microphone to work. EASE OF FITTING WITH THE WIRING LOOMS IS 5/5.
Ease of use – works with the iDrive SEAMLESSLY. I can use voice control for siri (I didn’t have voice control before fitting this item). I’m using wired CarPlay and I don’t think I’ll use wireless. I’ll give another update after a few weeks of use.

works like a dream, fitting really easy, you may have to search YouTube for some of it.
, like the microphone installation but, really easy to follow instructions of how to pair phones etc.

Works as described and relatively straightforward to fit. Only thing I would say is, if you car has sat nav built in it’ll make installation much more difficult. The head unit is already very snug from factory, so there is very little room to fit this unit and extra cabling. Can be done, but not easy.
The installation was easy for me as before buying this unit I spent a lot of time watching videos on YouTube. However the installation manual came with it was not sufficient.
There were intermittent issues with the Bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone with the latest iOS software. The support was not able to resolve the issue, instead they told me it’s an expected behaviour.
Considering the price paid I didn’t want to accept this as a solution, they provided a software update via FTP, which resulted in an invalid Update message on the screen.
Spent hours with their support to resolve the update issue, they were not fully English speaking and was using translating apps to communicate with me, I could see their message was not clear often and not how an English sentence is structured.
After spending a lot of time I realised it’s not worthy spending that much money buying from Amazon, as there was no difference between this and buying it from online for cheaper price.
Time wasted and then returned the unit to avoid the hassle.
Worked well on my BMW 1 series 2015 plate. Easy to DIY. Quick to connect wireless CarPlay and looks good.
Having watched some installation videos online, I wasn’t phased by the work required and it looked fairly straight forward, even for someone with no previous car electrical knowledge like myself. With the help of the provided instruction booklet and the online videos referenced in the booklet I was able to complete the installation successfully in around an hour. I even made my own step by step installation video to help others out.
The system worked flawlessly, when running the CarPlay feature it was identical to factory built version I had used in my previous car. No lagging or distortion, it operates very smoothly. Now I have access to Waze, WhatsApp and all my other favourite apps. I am able to navigate using the existing dials, just like I would operate the screen normally.
With this system you are also able to access features factory built CarPlay systems cannot offer, such as the ability to mirror your screen via airplay (if your an iPhone user like myself) which is pretty nifty- you could watch a movie whilst parked up for example. All the audio works through the existing car speakers too.
But there are also capabilities for Android users (Android Auto), although I couldn’t test this out as I only own an iPhone. However I have no doubt it would work just as well as the CarPlay integration.
This system also allows for rear and front parking cameras to be installed and the kit provides all the necessary cables to do so.
Overall I have been extremely impressed with the capabilities of this system, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone considering upgrading their existing interface for a more advanced smartphone integrated version.
Great product and does a great job for a retrofit and works seamlessly. Was having some trouble getting the BMW screen to output Car Llay but the support was amazing and got it to work at the end. I’ve noticed the sound also improves quite a lot on music.

The hardest part of the fitting process is getting the dashboard trim off and even that’s not that hard. Once you’re into the dashboard, it’s not much more difficult than changing a hard-disk in a computer. You will need some tools for the trim removal and a torx driver (see the many online videos).
In terms of operation, it’s never going to be the seemless experience you get with a factory fit option – when in reverse I lose the CarPlay screen (the standard BMW screen displays) and I can switch to CarPlay with the Radio on, which stops me playing music from my phone. You also have to trail an addition USB lead from the dash, which some might find off-putting, although there is the option to connect wirelessly to.
But these are minor niggles – in the CarPlay mode it’s just like a factory fit option, the iDrive control allows you to move between the supported apps, both Apple & Google maps work a treat, as does Music, Spotify and the various other audio apps I use. Phone calls work though the car microphone (I think this might be an option, my phone connected to the car for calls beforehand) and texts are read to you.
Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.
