Not as well made as expected but then it wasn’t expensive. You get what you pay for.
A easy to use lawn mowe
No the easiest gadget to assemble but once done is easy to use
Great all rounder as mower and leaf vac.
There are some stand out features that make this mower a great buy when on offer at under 110. 1st is a pretty good cut but less obvious is the design of the grass box which when separated from the mower sits at a useful angle to allow extra leaves and weeds to be added without shedding any cuttings.
There are few cons but I would comment that the power lead is too short for even a small 30 x 30 m lawn and the height adjustment steps need to be better spaced.

I’ve had a Rotak 32 for 6 years, using it to cut my own lawn and others (I’m a gardener). For a small mower it worked really well. This one is a slight upgrade – a bit heavier, but easier to adjust the cutting height and a larger grass box. It’s still very easy to use, and at just over 100 should prove excellent value.

Does the job!
I have a medium sized lawn (by UK standards – which are quite small). I have had no problems so far.
I have a broken back and this little mower is light and easily manoeuvred.
Hopefully the typical Bosch standard of quality lasts a long time.

This Bosch lawnmower I’m really pleased with. It’s light enough not to be cumbersome and also leaves the lawn looking very smooth and it really does cut up to the edges without tearing them. I would definitely recommend this product.
A good mower when eventually put togethe
An effective mower when you can get it assembled!! Most of it goes together in a straight forward manner, However the Handle assembly is truly weird and caused much head scratching!! Surely this could be made much simpler to prevent many failed attempts to get the handle anywhere near ready for use.
Same'ol same'ol
Does exactly what a bosch does best no matter how much abuse you throw at it. This is the 2nd one I’ve had and its great. The only issue is at the slightest sign of damp the entrance to the box can become clogged as well as the cutting blade bay. Wouldn’t have any other mower fro my size garden and what i expect the machine to do.

Good budget lawnmower for small lawn.
Good easy to assemble budget lawnmower that works very well. Great for my small lawn as its lightweight and fairly easy to manoeuver and cuts close to wall and fence leaving very little to strim. Also has 5 height settings which allowed me to gradually reduce the height of grass on my new lawn without cutting off more than 1/3 off on any cut. Only likely problem is grass box not very robust so hopefully it lasts. Also a little difficult to clean after use as grass gets stuck down side of height adjustment lever.
Decent mower but folding the handle is difficul
Folding down the handle is difficult and the Mower itself feels slightly heavier than the previous model I had. Also the number of cutting heights is now 5 as opposed to the 10 on the previous model. It cuts the grass well tho and the grass box is a good size.
Gives a nice finish
Good mower that gives a nice tidy cut and it’s good to have easily adjustable height settings. My only critism would be that the grass collection box is rather flimsy and the handle kept coming off until I modified the clips that hold it in place – they just don’t grip very well. Design improvement required there.

shape of handles are user friendly & ideal for hanging wound up cable on although cable is shorter than my older Bosh model which means I now have to use an extension Lead, this model has a higher adjustment than the older model if required for a taller user, I would have rated it 5 star if the cable was the same length as the older model

My disappointment so far has been the fitting quality when the grass box is assembled. The end of the grass box which fits to the mower has gaps.
I do get the complaints about feeling flimsy but apart from the grass box I thought could be better, I have no complaints.
Used it for the first time today and better than my Qualcast and Flymo I had in the past.
Cuts well, easy to us and best of all collected the cut grass better than previous mowers. Don’t think will be using the rake much after a cut with this.
It’s not an industrial mower and for 100, treat it with a bit of care and sure will last a few years.

Good value little mowe
A lovely lightweight mower. I had to get my son to assemble it. He’s an engineer and I can’t be bothered with instructions. My lawn is about the size of two thirds of a tennis court. I had to use an extension lead but knew this before purchase. The lawn is bumpy and the grass grows at different rates so I adjusted the height several times. A bit stiff but doable. Overall I’m pleased so far with my purchase.

Have been using this for a couple of months now and am very happy with it. Assembly took a while, make sure you get the handle on the right way although it will work if they point down and it could even be an option for shorter gardeners. In use it is very good. It fires up very quickly and cut nicely. Grass box is a decent size. The handles are well designed with plenty of places to grip where you feel most comfortable. This new version is more compact and takes less space to store. One concern/grief I have is the plastic cover and grass box collection appears very weak, and feels cheap. The height adjusting lever is quite lower and not easy to manipulate while you are cutting the grass. It is likely to break easily. Definitely not worth of 100+. I am not confident this will last same long as my old one, but fingers crossed it will!

Great value, works brilliantly!
This is NOT easy to assemble, took a bad language half hour but hey, you only assemble it once ! A little heavy and unwieldy. Cable not long enough for my small garden, needs a plug in extension. Some reviews mentioned flimsy , but (for 105!) I think the quality is fine, and I have bought Bosch before because the reputation is good. Cuts the grass well , and I just had the previous Bosch model which lasted me 15 or more years . This has bigger grass box and wider cut, which both work well. As a basic effective mower, it’s definitely a great buy.
Good Lawnmove
First I thought to return this lawnmower before even first use as the build quality was very poor for grass case. But used it once to give it a try over the weekend and liked how its working. Powerful machine and really cuts the grass smoothly. Only the grass case is of poor quality. Recommend it.

Amazing product!
I have initially bought a different brand with a lower power and when arrived i struggled so much to cut my small garden, I than talked with CS in Amazon and created a return and purchased this Bosh one. It is just amazing and powerful, so easy to assemble and very smooth cut. I would recommend to anyone, in my opinion the best one.
Cuts well
The instructions were difficult to follow so I copied the pictures on the box. The grass box is flimsy and not well designed, the plastic is quite thin. The mower cuts well but the cord is short. It did my small front lawn ok but an extension lead would be essential for a larger lawn. Good value for money.
Powerful and easy to use mowe
Good mower, with a range of cutting heights which is great for later in the year when the grass is sometimes a bit damper. Slightly harder to turn than a smaller mower might have been but the size is good when you need to cover a lot of ground. Would buy agai

Terrible assembly instructions (even for an engineer it took couple of hours). Only downside is that it it needs a longer lead and doesn’t cut as short as previous model but ideal for small gardens
Light in weight but tackles heavyweight tasks
Excellent light manoeuvrable mower with easy switches on the handle to enable control by either hand. The finished cut is neat and even right up to the edge thanks to the multiple height adjustment and roller. The mower even handled reasonably long grass without problems. In my opinion it is SO much better than the hover mower I previously used, which was cumbersome and left an uneven and patchy result. This Bosch model is the best lawnmower I have used.
Fantastic improvement on my old mower.
A massive improvement on my old Qualcast mower. It actually sucks up clippings and scattered leaves like a good un. The roller leaves a nice stripe on the lawn and cutting is so effortless and “complete” that I don’t have to move it back and forth to get a clean cut; simply move forward in one smooth motion and the job is done. Admittedly my old Qualcast was, well, old but I’m so impressed by how much better this mower is. The compact storage is also a big plus.
Easy to use and does a tidy job
It was really easy to set up and it does a nice job on the grass. I like the way it pulls grass in around the edges of the garden. The cable could do with being a bit longer though.
Cracking little mower.
Easy to assemble, powerful motor, decent lines made by the roller. Two slight issues, the collector box isn’t the studiest and the power lead could be a metre longer. Otherwise very pleased.

Finally upgraded to Lawnmower – no more trimmer! Saved me a lot of time.
Easy to assemble, high volume container and the cut is precise.
Just on the bad note – it could benefit if its more mobile… just finding it very hard to drive but probably I need to get used to it.

Top-end for a budget mowe
Obviously not the best mower in the world, but at its price point this thing is really great. As with all these budget Bosch products there is no skimping on power. Set up and storage is well thought out and easy to deal with. Controls are no nonsense. Perfect for a small lawn. Only bad point is the grass box handle which will just fall off if there is any weight of grass in the box. I got this for under 80 which is a steal.

10 minutes to assemble, cuts well, and leaves an even finish. Good for the price. I recommend you make sure you register it with Bosch, you get three year cover for repairs. I bought mine, the back roller lost a securing cap on the first week, contacted Bosch having registered it. Item was collected from home for repair, six days later they just sent me a new one. Hopefully I just had a rogue one, so I’ll update this if I have any more issues, but fingers crossed as it’s a good mowe

Lightweight and efficie
The lawn mower gives a good cut. Less trips to the compost bin. Grass box seems a little flimsy and where you slot it into the mower. Will have to wait and see how it lasts. Overall pretty happy at the moment.
I was not disappointed.
I’ve only just bought it and I’ve used it just once, so far so good it did what I bought it for excellently. Hopefully it’s continues like that.
Bosch Rotax 44R Electric lawnmowers
The Bosch Rotax 44 R is a well built solid machine with strong cutting blade.
Assembling it is quite easy , assembling the grass box ,which most people find it difficult ! is a very minor problem ,so all in all one can assemble the machine in 30 minutes maximum!!
The Bosch lawnmower would be a super tool if it was not for the fixing of the 2 loose wheels!!If these plastic wheels are not precisely cut they will not fit !!
But if you are lucky and they do you will have a really good machine!!

Bought this mower to replace my existing one. Did some research. So happy, it is lightweight, easy to assemble first time around. I bought it because it has a wheel base, plus height adjustment lever for cutting the grass. Furthermore, the grass collector is larger than my previous mower, and can be compacted for storage.
It cuts better than my previous mower, my only snag is the cable length. I think the standard should be 12-15m and not 10m.

I have a large garden, so this probably wasn’t the best electric mower to buy. However, I wanted something lightweight, as my garden slopes, and I didn’t want to end up wrecked each week after mowing. So far all good. Have used it three times, and it coped with longer, slightly damp grass very well. The aim is to mow regularly, so that I don’t put it, or myself, under that much pressure, but with our climate this isn’t always possible.
I think it’s made in China, so doesn’t have the robust feel that I would expect from a Bosch. However, it’s working for me… should that change I will update.

Feels slightly heavier/harder to move than my years old rotak (previous shape). Grass collection box is a bit flimsy and delicate – It’s handle comes away if you try and lift a slightly weighty grass box off to empty. Sometime the box splits in two (clips back together). But it does a good cut and the new edge-comb thingies (not on the old version) are quite handy up against the patio edge/step.
Super lightweigh
Only have a small area to cut now (5m x 5m) so got rid of my petrol mower. This thing is great! It’s so light, easy to pull out and just go! I sharpened the blade a bit more, just my thing, but my lawn looks amazing now, the neighbours have actually commented on it and asked what I did. Bought a new mowe

Take it from me, I was worried to buy this lawnmower from reading some of the negative reviews. They are non sense, and it’s a treat to use. Picks up all th grass, cuts close to the edge and the grass container is double size potentially from our last cheapo. No I don’t have shares in Bosch, live in Hampshire and highly reccomend. For the price what do you expect……

Sturdy and reliable
I bought this as a replacement for a very similar model which I’d used for 15 years without any problems. The only reason I updated was that I had broken the plastic on/off handle last year and reckoned it was time for a total renewal rather than just a new handle after 15 years. It was still cutting fine though. This model seems just as good on our medium-sized lawns. Not too heavy, but sturdy enough not to be confused with some of the lightweight smaller-lawn models. All in all I’m pleased with it.

This mower replaced a similar model which had given me very good service over a number of years. It is light and easy to use, giving a good cut and striped lawn.

Value for money, great mower. Don’t believe the negatives. Cracking mower, lead a bit short, just use an extension. The cut isn’t short enough for me, I just uncoupled the blade and put two 3 mm washers between, result perfect cut perfect length. Do not attempt unless your competent. Worth every penny, would recommend.

Good lawnmowe
It’s a great mower the only issue was assembling the grass box. Seemed to be a bit flimsy but still does the job. I have a huge garden and I got round it in no time. Best lawnmower I’ve tried.
Does the job well but check the lead length is OK for you
I’ve only used it once and it was fine. But I want to put out a couple of comments. This was purchased to replace my 2013 Bosch TYP3600H81B74 – which lasted 8 years before the motor burnt out. I liked the old one so decided to go with a similar product (even though 8 years seemed a bit premature for disposal – and sadly a new motor is far more expensive than a new mower)..
I was disappointed that this mower had a shorter lead (by approx 4 metres) than my old one. Which with my set-up means that I have to buy a new extension lead and it will have to hang in the grass area to enable the mower to reach my furthest points. (which messes with a small boundary hedge) My grass area is about 14m x 12m and it won’t reach across the 12m part. Sadly in the specification that I read there was no mention of lead length.
I guess it is just one of those areas of manufacturing cost cutting that slips under the radar.
Good points – the handles are a good feature, and with four switches to hold the power on located on each handle or on left and right side on the horizontal bar so there are plenty of places to hold onto and keep the motor going.
The depth of cut selector appears to be better too – in the old mower it would occasionally jump out, whereas this appears a more robust design.
Irritations….the grass box is more fragile, but hopefully will last the duration. The leaflet advising how to assemble is not up to date so the diagram of the machine handle arrangement makes you think that you may have been supplied with the wrong part, but it all goes together ok and is in line with photos on the box. There is a small extra part to the lead wire which is obvious where it goes but isn’t in the diagram. Technical Publications get your act together!
I like these mowers because of the roller at the back does leave ‘lines’ which I like in my lawn (sorry Monty).
Let’s see if this one lasts 8 years or more!

We are expecting years of use from this mower as it is a reliable, tried and tested Bosch product. It replaces a previous Rotak 32 that we had for absolutely donkeys years. It is reasonably priced, lightweight, looks nice and is easy to handle and ideally suited for small lawn areas

I live in a park home with a small garden. This is perfect. I had a large house with three lawns before and used a large petrol mower for that, but it would have been too big and awkward for here. This is just right. And it cuts up to the edges of the lawn which eliminates strimming.

Easy to assemble and takes up very little space when folded. Used once already this year and works a treat. Only minor grumble would be that the cable could be slightly longer.

Got this on warehouse, box had a hole in it which saved 20! Dont understand negative comments re made in china etc? This is as good as any bosch ive owned. My garden is an uneven meadow with lots of blade breaking items. This amazing bit of kit breezed through it. Great quality cut and perfect handling. Really feels like it was made with quality. More than enough power, and the grassbox isnt at all weak? I think some people want a box made of strengthened titanium?? Buy it – u wont be sorry.
Great mowe
Bought this to replace my much more expensive Flymo which was only used 5 times. It was hopeless- didn’t hover and cut different heights as the basket filled up. Neighbour lent me his Bosch one which was ancient and well used and put the flymo to shame.

Bought this as a replacement for my ageing Flymo hover for my small garden. Main reason I went for this model is the brand and the cutting height (twice as high as the Flymo)- great for when I’m lazy and miss a cut. Works well, cuts easily, grass collection works well. One feature I was a bit wary of was the ‘up to edge cutting’ as my lawn bordered by fencing on both sides. Needn’t have worried as it did a good job- saving the need for extra work with strimmer or shears.

A replacement for rotak 40. So a down grade as they don’t make them anymore. Shame because this has less power, 3″ less cutting width and the cord is stupidly short even though I use an extension. Shame they altered the fixings to fold down the handle. I have to do this frequently to transport it in my car. If you can leave it up then it’s not a problem.
Positives are that its lightweight and easy to use. I like the multiple hold on handle design.
Great product, insane delivery
I can’t feed this back discreetly, ‘Delivered 23 Sep 2020 Parcel was left in or near a shed’. Why? We were in all day and the doorbell works just fine. We live on one of the busiest streets in Leicester. There really is no excuse.

Instructions could of been more clearer. The wire part and the handle were not clear , they were the wrong way round on picture to the instructions. But great lawnmower. Easy push and very easy to manover.
Compact, easy to assemble and neat cu
Quality product especially with the discount we got it at for Black Friday. We have a 12 x 12 m garden and it was a perfect size for covering the garden. Quick and easy to assemble and a neat cut. Unfortunately we couldn’t locate the code for registering the product for the warranty, so if anyone knows where to locate this on the box. But easy to use!
Robust start/safety mechanism in ergonomic handle
To start this mower you press a button and squeeze the switch on either the horizontal or vertical handles. There is no pull mechanism to break, just a switch to squeeze and this shouldn’t fail. The mains cable is continuous so there is no connection point that could fail. The mower can hang off the wall with a bracket of about 6 inches of reach. The grass box nestles quite well in the handle. The first time I tried the mower the grass was damp and at least 70mm long and lying flat. I set the mower to max height and it did a decent job. The grass comb worked quite well in these extreme conditions. I needed to stop the mower and clear out the wet grass from underneath, But two grass boxes worth in this worst case test. I tried dropping it one notch and running over part of lawn but ground so undulating I stopped and in future will just use max height setting which suits long tough grass we have. Our lawn is only 20 foot square so I am sure a smaller cheaper mower from the Bosch stable would’ve been adequate but this mower is replacing one which broke at a press button pull lever to switch on.

Had a similar model for years, which had a collection box limitation. This model has a bigger grass box and is much easier to empty when full.

Some reviewers have said that the grass collector is flimsy. I disagree. It feels fine and due to it’s size it needs to be light or it would make the front of the mower point at the sky once it’s full of grass.
Other comments were about the roller not putting down lines. All I can say is that my lawn now has stripes.
My only criticism is that the instructions have not been updated for some changes in the design. The instructions show a single “U” shaped handle that is initially attached to the mower, when in reality it’s 2 pieces. It’s also not very clear which way up you fit the upper section, so my first cut was done with this the wrong way up, but this was soon fixed. It took about 10 minutes to put this mower together.
All in all I expect this will last 10 years, so for 100 that’s 10 a year to cut the lawn which is fine with me.

This lightweight mower is excellent for our garden which is not too big. It has several height levels for cutting also
Very pleased
Having moved into a new property, I decided to kit myself out with some decent gardening tools and equipment. I carefully researched what would suit the lawns, and opted for the 34R. I’ve used it for the whole summer season, and I’m very pleased with it. My wife is particularly complimentary about the evenness and finish.
Worth the Money
Good value for money. There are plenty of cheaper and more expensive models to choose from so it’s tricky getting the balance right. Replaced a Flymo I had for years. Very happy with this product.
Pretty easy to assemble. Light, considering it’s a mechanical item.
Product really light as it is made solely from plastic. Makes me a little nervous about quality, but so far so good.
Easy to use, does a great job cutting. Cutting height level is great.
Only word of warning is that I had to re-order the wheels (that you had to attach yourself). Amazon was really good, after they directed me to the supplier. Then I found the original wheels. Slightly hidden away inside the glass basket (I hadn’t looked so maybe my fault).

Easy to build, easy to use and I’m very pleased
This is the third Bosch lawn mower that I have bought and one has lasted around ten years, before they give up. And they do work hard. On average two to three times a week and garden is approximately 100′ x 30′. It was easy to assemble and I find it easy to manoeuvre and I am a 60 year old man with dodgy feet.

Likes: vacuum level sucking grass up (dry) very good. Rear roller nice touch. Cut extremely good in infancy. Height adjustable very simple and efficiently easy. Cable length adequate but I use an extension anyway. Grass box easy to use. Grass box size more than adequate for 30m2 size lawn, takes 20mins. Grass combs are big bonus and such stray grass into cutting area.
Good quality mid range mowe
Great quality and worth the money. I’ve had a new lawn laid and with all the rain we have been having it is growing like wildfire. I was given a cheap version which was far too lightweight which meant it was hard work and just pulled the wet grass out leaving cut grass everywhere. I am so happy with my new mower, it glides easily across the lawn even when wet, cuts well and good selection of cut heights.
A first class produc
Easy to order and quick delivery. First class product bought this to replace an older version which I gave to my son, still working like a new one. The instruction booklet explains in detail how to assemble but the actual lawnmower differs from the instructions but it is easy to assemble. I would recommend this product.
It does the job
My old mower died and I needed an urgent replacement. It was a Qualcast but of similar size. I found the Bosch very easy to assemble and I was cutting the lawn within 15 minutes. It cuts the lawn very well. It is a simple but good mower which does the job it is supposed to. I am very happy.
Cable length and grass box prevented me from giving 5 stars
Positives: Good build quality. Easy to assemble. Excellent cut for a rotary mower.
Negatives: The power cable needs to be longer even for a 45 square metre lawn and the grass box handle clips are not very secure. Some grass cuttings also fall out onto the lawn when removing the grass box.

i replaced earlier model same one found cable shorter and grass box flimsy had to glue on handel as kept coming off and did not join very well old model grass box much stronger and fitted better it seems progress is not all it seems but still think lawnmower is good
A good product but ..........
It’s a good product but compared to the previous Bosch mower I had I’m left feeling a bit disappointed by the fact that the lowest cut setting is not low enough for a really fine cut. It means that after I’ve cut the lawn it doesn’t look as “sharp and neat” a cut as I’ve been used to and I find myself having to repeat the task within a few days which I’ve never had to do in the past. It’ll have to do now but I’d maybe look closer at the specifications before buying a similar product in future.
Great mowe
Grwt at cutting the grass, has a roller which is nice and easy to change cutting height. 2 downsides, for me, are only 10 metre cable and cable is permanently attached to mower.

Fantastic product. The quality of the cut is great, leaves very little grass cuttings behind. The only downside is the instructions dont marry up with the product however its not rocket science to piece togethe
Light weight but blade difficult to replace
We’ve had this lawnmower for more than 2 years. Overall, it is a good machines which is light weight and easy to use. But the blade was soooooo tightly fitted that we nearly had to take it out and pay for someone to replace it for us.

Was concerned when reading some of the reviews. That’s all gone now. Owned the 32R for 5 years and it worked really well. It gave up the ghost on Friday.
Ordered this one thinking if it’s as bad as some of the reviews then I can send it back. Was pleasantly surprised when putting this together. Took all of 5 min and the handle was a breeze. The unit it’s self is not too light, easy to move with the handle and seems ridged enough to handle the abuse it’s probably going to get. The grass box is rather flimsy but since the last one survived really well, I’m not worried about this. Its actually more solid than the old one. Since it doesn’t take any weight, the lightness of construction is beneficial.
Have done a first cut and love the easy height changer which the old unit didn’t have. All in all this seems a good deal and very happy with purchase.

Other reviews say the grassbox is flimsy and it is, but strong enough when in place. It doesn’t now the edges as well as it suggests and sometimes just flattens grass so it springs up again but in general a decent mower that copes well with our bumpy lawn (said neighbour has the most perfect lawn you have ever seen – ours will never be like that).

Good Produc
So much easier than my petrol mower which rarely starts until I’ve put in fresh petrol. You can buy replacement blades easily or sharpen them with a grinder: makes a big difference. Only minor niggle: the blade doesn’t propel all the grass into the box so take a look as you’re using it (not with it on). Easy to use and cuts up to the edge.
Bosch should put two clips on the handle to wind up and store the cable. Easy to do.
