The Designer
Scottish by birth, Gordon Ramsay was brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. With an injury prematurely putting and end to any hopes of a promising career in football, he went back to college to complete a course in hotel management. His dedication and natural talent led him to train with some of the best chefs, such as Albert Roux and Marco Pierre White in London, and Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon in France. In 1993 Gordon became chef of Aubergine in London. Within three years he was awarded two Michelin stars. In 1998, at the age of 31, Ramsay set up his first wholly owned and namesake restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which quickly received the most prestigious accolade in the culinary world – three Michelin stars. Today, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is London’s longest -running restaurant to hold this accolade, and Ramsay is one of only four chefs in the U.K. to maintain three stars.

We have purchased two sets of these. They are a beautiful light blue color and seem quite sturdy as we haven’t had any problems with them. We regularly wash in the dish washer and they are just lovely!
Neat set. Plates slightly lighter than expected but still good quality. Bowls are bigger than they look in picture.
Very good, sturdy and value for money, they dry quickly without strains.
Plates are proving very durable , they are in the dishwasher every day
Unfortunately no evidence that the box was fragile and one dinner plate arrived in 20 pieces

Beautiful dinner set. Simple but so stylish. I love the slight lift on the edges of the dinner plate, great for gravy lovers. It feels super expensive and I’m very happy indeed. Top seller, boxed securely and quick postage.

Beautiful but too large. Too big for my microwave and dishwasher. Will have to return I’m afraid
Lovely colour and was packed very well….only problem is the large plates don’t fit in my dishwasher 🙁 hence only 4 stars!
