Never had an induction hob before. This works really well and heats up fast. Had to get the right types of saucepans to go with it but that is the norm with induction type hobs.
Value wise this hob is a great option. It does the job well and price wise it’s about a third cheaper than other brand alternatives, despite the fact they are mostly all made by the same company before being re-badged.
Minus a star because it is quite noisy compared to my old induction hob, quietens down after the first few minutes on. The wiring instructions are not great for fitting to a UK supply (there are two live wires) and it did seem to mark quite easily when working and normal cleaning spray doesn’t really work.
I’d recommend this for anyone wanting to get good value but for something that does the job – it’s good value but not “cheap”.
These all look the same to me but this one was a recognised brand and available next day. Installed on a dedicated 6mm 32a circuit, works faultlessly, noy the slightest of noises when on, a fan and a slight clicking which all induction jobs do. No issues and so much easier to clean than our old gas hob.
So far an excellent hob easy to clean works extremely well. Easy to install, very happy with the purchase
So far so good only had for a week, but fabulous at the minute hopefully stays that way. Heats up super quick can’t believe how fast it boils and cools down very fast in turn, only problem is getting to know the right temp for cooking coming from a ceramic hob. And make sure all your pans are magnetic or they won’t work stick a magnet to the bottom to find out x
I’ve only had it for less than week but for time I have had it I am impress work extremely well and does what I expect it to I think it heats the pans up a lot faster than congenital methods which can only a plus. The wiring is slightly different than expected and it would be advice to follow the instructions.
Really easy to clean and looks great in our kitchen.
Easy to install & use. It doesn’t make a noise about it’s operation. No flashing lights or bells, just does everything in a very understated fashio
Excellent.. it’s easy to manage and I seem to cope with it very well..keeps nicexand clean..
As expected, does not sing and dance but just does the job. Highly recommended
Quality Hob easy to install with cable supplied very controllable heating units very happy with this Hob and fast delivery !!!!!

After a terrible day, I decided to make Nutella cookies for me and my flat mates. I proceeded to drop the Nutella jar and smash the high range induction hob.
Luckily for me they didn’t make that hob anymore so I opted for this low price one. I’ve got say it was so much better than the other expensive hob, have not tested its resistance to a Nutella jar but assume it would be the same.

his is not a review but my hob has stopped working for a second time and I need it to be repaired again. It is still under warranty

I can lock this hob so it doesn’t switch on accidentally. Easiest hob to clean.
Fantastic introduction to induction hobs. So impressed by our first one in another property we decided to get same one again and from Electrical store as there prompt response and delivery are second to one. Thank you.

Great induction hob. Bought a while ago as part of a big building project so only just installed. All works great, just a problem with some Salter saucepans for induction hobs that we’re bought off my wish list however. The little saucepan doesn’t work but all the others do. This is obviously a saucepan fault though. Can’t do anything about this due to length of time they were purchased off my wish list. Great hob though.

Nice hob, heats quickly and I can see it will save energy! The problem is finding pans/saucepans that actually work with it !!
Really holy with this job, first one I’ve had and would recommend
Cleans easily and is quick to boil. Could not get used to the locking feature for safety of children – kept putting this feature on – and wondering why it had stopped cooking. Love that I do not burn myself on the hot plates anymore.

Am taking little while to get used to induction, had to change most of my pans ect, very irritating, quick cooking, easy to clean.
This induction hob – our first – fitted well and is easy to use with a wide variety of pans we already had. The need for iron-based pans had already been considered, but more pans than we had thought are suitable.
The only minor difficulty with operation is the tendency to need to turn off the child-proof lock (which we don’t need and so don’t set) on many occasions and the relatively poor instructions on use about that aspect.

Very sleek looking and easy to operate. We have a smart meter so noticed it uses much less electricity than our previous hot plate hob.
As for installation, it comes with a cable that can be wired directly into a 32A radial cooker socket.

Very pleased with this hob. It was easy to install and we are very satisfied with its performance.
induction is the best form of cooking this is my second hob and I would never go back to normal hobs
just so quick and easy to clean LOVE IT

Mirroring the review by M. D. Saunderson, I had the same experience. The cutout has to be slightly larger for the soft rubber gasket to meet well with the worktop, otherwise water could potentially leak under there.
5 stars because the only complaints I have are inherent to the style of hob, e.g. the on-off clicking to moderate the temperature, the inductive “buzz” in the pan, and the capacitive controls not working when wet. These issues I can live with to have the advantages. The obvious advantage being that it’s very easy to clean, and heats very quickly as the only thermally latent mass is that of the pan itself, meaning you can boil water almost as fast as an electric kettle. I now doubt the point of even having an electric kettle! If you don’t have children, you may think the child lock is a pointless feature for you, but it’s very useful to lock when cleaning/wiping down without accidentally turning it on.
The only concern I have for the longevity is sliding metal-based pans around feels like it might be scratching the surface, and you WILL slide pans around while stirring since the surface is smooth glass. Having said this, it seems to be holding up ok.
So if you’ve decided you’re going for an induction hob, this is a good one, at a good price too.

Bought this to replace very expensive AEG induction…although this lacks one feature that the AEG had, which was to turn 2 rings in 1 large one…buy this one instead!!! Just as good, if not better, easy to fit, economical and good value for money

Lovely hob , but can’t use small milk saucepans on i
It arrived on time and was in perfect condition.Works well but the control panel was a little baffling at first.
Ok, so a detail missing from the description. The hole it needs to fit into is 49 x 56. Otherwise, it is as described, and I love mine.
A couple of comments:
It is noisy in operation, clicking and buzzing, but I believe this is normal for induction hobs? (After visiting my sister who also has an induction hob I noticed that hers, though a different make, also clicks and buzzes, though not quite so loudly, so I am going to assume that the noise this one makes is ‘normal,’ and a result of her hob being more far more expensive..)
It has only two tiny clamps to fix it to the work top, the hob it replaces had two per side, eight in total. I hope they do the job well enough to keep stuff from running under the edges.
The electrical connection designer seems to have forgotten that it needs a 35amp plus cable to be wired to it, which uses wires 3+ times the thickness of a normal 13amp cable, as the connections on the hob are the same size as in a normal 13amp connection so it is a real bastard of a job to get the big thick 35amp cables required into a hole the size of a 13amp wire, like trying to fit my head into a sock – It can be done, but it’s not exactly easy, the hob it replaced (30+ years old) was the other way round, more like a sausage into a shirt-sleve.
