Once you have prepared the microwave for first use, simply place your food in suitable cookware, open the door and position onto the assembled turntable. Additional Features

Avoiding Mishaps
To avoid any microwave mishaps it is recommended to take extra care with the following:
Low moisture foods (eg. cereals, bagels, dried pasta, pulses and chocolate)
– These must be cooked on a low power level for a very short length of time, or preferably not at all.
High sugar content foods (eg. jams, syrups)
– These foods can become easily ‘super-heated’ when cooked in a microwave oven.
Foods containing alcohol
– Foods with an alcohol content must not be cooked in a microwave as they could ignite.
Foods with a membrane or outer skin (eg. fruits, sausages, potatoes)
– Food with a sealed or none porous skin must be pierced to allow pressure and steam to escape

I like the design , and how it is so easy and not complicated to use than some of the other types , it is very quiet and not noisey whilst using it , and it works well , and i was pleased
with the arrival as it was delivered a lot earlier than I was expecting , looks good as well .
Superb microwave. Does everything it’s meant to. Added bonus is that the vents are on the side so you can still place items on top of it.
As for compact you can just about fit a pint mug in height and it only just fits our dinner plates on.

great item however the box front was damaged on delivery. The product was safe when I unwrapped it.
My previous, all singing & dancing microwave was not used to its full potential…as all I wanted and needed was a microwave that saved oven time by part cooking jacket potatoes and cooking perfect al dente veg! This cute microwave takes up hardly any room and is attractive whilst being a vital part of the kitchen. Perfect!

Good looking functional addition to the kitchen – darker cream than I was expecting
I love this microwave – it’s so simple without all the fancy electronics most of us never bother with. 2 knobs, one for temperature, the other for timer. All you need really! Looks great, easy to clean and nothing much can go wrong with it, sure I’ll be using for many years to come.

Lovely retro look which matches my decor perfectly, good value for money as no bells and whistles, but for a good basic microwave can’t go wrong with this model.
As I only use a microwave for defrosting, or heating up food, this suits me very well. It is not too large so doesn’t dominate the kitchen. A large dinner plate fits in it but a casserole dish with handles etc wouldn’t. Very simple to use.
I received this microwave as my old one was nackered ,it had paint coming off it my old one that is!!but this retro new style was perfect for me I even bought the kettle to match it aswell ,it’s study ,its the right size for my kitchen it does what it says on the package ,basically what else can I say it works just fine ,I love it I would buy again ,and recommend to a friend aswell.thank u.
I can’t say it’s value for money exactly. It’s easy to use and pretty easy to clean (and I do keep it clean) but it is already starting to show signs of rush and I’ve only had it 6 months. It looks nice and matched my toaster but not sure I’d buy again.

700 Watts so standard instuctions need extra 5 % cooking times , most large plates fit but some are snug on the opening however they do turn round adequately, without catching on the side JUST …. like is aid it is snugg
no vents on top so great for people that like to put things on top of their microwaves….

If you know how to use 700W of power all you need is a timer. Excellent performance cooks my basmati rice to fluffy in 24mins. Colour coordinates with the Amica retro Fridgefreezer very well and opens by pulling the door open no locking mechanism to break!
This microwave only has two knobs , is very simple to use and just what i needed. It looks great and is a very classy looking microwave. I bought it to match up with Charles Bentley Kettle and Toaster as this was recommended by Amazon . It matches perfectly well done Amazon. I purchased cream which is a lovely colour.
I like the analog controls. Just turn the knob and away it goes. we only ever reheat food with microwaves, so it is perfect for us. The colour matched our other cookwear and looks great. We love the old fashioned look.

We have had a more complicated microwave before and I never worked out what all the buttons did!
I just want to open the door, chuck the item on, turn it on for a few spins and take it out!
And it fits the bill and wont look strange in our old cottage!
my only gripe is that the instruction sticker top layer peeled off leaving the rest behind!

I normally go for digital microwaves. But this manual microwave is not too bad. The only downfall is the capacity is small. Which really and truly I should of paid attention to considering the work I do lol. But I would recommend this and any product from Russell Hobbs is brilliant it reminds of Morphy Richards brand.

Nice looking unit bought for my mother. Looks good and simple to use. Now rather that putting a main oven on for an hr, it takes just a few mins to warm up food 🙂

There is a label on the front of the microwave above the time dial in red writing that states you need to turn the timer past two minutes to cook for less than two minutes I tried to get it off and it has made a mess as the adhesive is impossible to get off this did not need to be there it should be mentioned in the manual.
The microwave is exactly as it’s photo. The chrome, is chrome effect 🙁

I wasn’t home, he placed it exactly where I had asked for to be put, and also ensured it covered up with a waterproof cover that was lying in the storage place, which I hadn’t requested. Good value basic microwave. Two dials so you can’t go wrong. Temperature and time, easy to use but basic… hard to get exact time if seconds are required but I’m happy.

The sticker on the front is not an issue for me and I think I’ll leave it on as it instructs what to do if you want to heat something less than 2 minutes. (Turn dial to above 2 mins and then back to the time eg 1 minute).

I really love this microwave- it’s so straight forward to use, two dials, one for time and one for power and that’s it! I hate those microwaves where you have to press 5 different buttons before it even turns this on, but this one is idiot proof. Big bonus (apart from being really stylish & a lovely colour) is that it’s so easy to clean, despite being cream coloured and white on the inside. I’ve had mine for 6 months now and really can’t fault it.

Really happy with this purchase. The only reason I’ve marked durability down is because the knobs weren’t made of solid metal and a bit concerned how these will last in the long term.

I have the kettle, toaster and coffee machine so was very pleased to find this. Probably could have got a basic cheaper microwave but it looks great and am happy to leave it out, rather than stick in a cupboard
I chose this microwave because i wanted a manually operated one instead of digital, however the timer knob is not great, you cant really see what time setting you have chosen and to get it started you have to go past 2 minutes which is a bit of a pain if you are only wanting to heat something up for 30 sec or a minute. apart from that i like it.
