About the RHRETMM705B
Compact and stylish, the RHRETMM705R is the perfect everyday microwave, and with its 700 watts of microwave power and 17 litre cavity capacity, it’s ideal for cooking a variety of meals in minutes. The chic and trim design means you have flexibility in choosing the perfect spot to show off your new appliance.
Once you have prepared the microwave for first use, simply place your food in suitable cookware, open the door and position onto the assembled turntable. Next all you need to do is select a power level and the cooking time required by turning the easy to use dials, found on the control panel. The internal microwave light lets you know that cooking is in progress.

Avoiding Mishaps
To avoid any microwave mishaps it is recommended to take extra care with the following:
Low moisture foods (eg. cereals, bagels, dried pasta, pulses and chocolate)
– These must be cooked on a low power level for a very short length of time, or preferably not at all.
High sugar content foods (eg. jams, syrups)
– These foods can become easily ‘super-heated’ when cooked in a microwave oven.
Foods containing alcohol
– Foods with an alcohol content must not be cooked in a microwave as they could ignite.
Foods with a membrane or outer skin (eg. fruits, sausages, potatoes)
– Food with a sealed or none porous skin must be pierced to allow pressure and steam to escape

Bought this to replace a broken microwave and after some research this one was chosen and I am not disappointed. Compact powerful and more aesthetically pleasing than most. Its simple retro styling and controls make it a great purchase and an ease to use.

My previous, all singing & dancing microwave was not used to its full potential…as all I wanted and needed was a microwave that saved oven time by part cooking jacket potatoes and cooking perfect al dente veg! This cute microwave takes up hardly any room and is attractive whilst being a vital part of the kitchen. Perfect!
Had this about month and a half now. Very pleased with. The bad reviews appear harsh to me. Cannot fault it at all. If you cannot say anything nice may just be best to say nothing at all…
I am of the older generation and positively dislike the high beeps emitted by so many modern appliances. The Russell Hobbs microwave gives a pleasant sounding deep tone when the food is cooked or defrosted. There are just two simply controls which are easy to use. I have previously owned microwaves with a variety of controls and settings but for me, simplest is the best way to go. It also looks good in my kitche

I’ve only had this microwave for 5 months and already it’s gone rusty on the inside, very little use so very poor, gets very wet when used and timer is very dysfunctional so it’s just guess work when trying to heat anything, please be aware of this product before buying !!!!! an absolute waste of money I’ll never buy rustle hobs again EVER !!!!!

I love this microwave – it’s so simple without all the fancy electronics most of us never bother with. 2 knobs, one for temperature, the other for timer. All you need really! Looks great, easy to clean and nothing much can go wrong with it, sure I’ll be using for many years to come.

Lovely retro look which matches my decor perfectly, good value for money as no bells and whistles, but for a good basic microwave can’t go wrong with this model.
Good quality retro style
As I only use a microwave for defrosting, or heating up food, this suits me very well. It is not too large so doesn’t dominate the kitchen. A large dinner plate fits in it but a casserole dish with handles etc wouldn’t. Very simple to use.

Good looking but showing signs of rust already
I can’t say it’s value for money exactly. It’s easy to use and pretty easy to clean (and I do keep it clean) but it is already starting to show signs of rush and I’ve only had it 6 months. It looks nice and matched my toaster but not sure I’d buy again.

no vents on top so great for people that like to put things on top of their microwaves….

If you know how to use 700W of power all you need is a timer. Excellent performance cooks my basmati rice to fluffy in 24mins. Colour coordinates with the Amica retro Fridgefreezer very well and opens by pulling the door open no locking mechanism to break!

This microwave only has two knobs , is very simple to use and just what i needed. It looks great and is a very classy looking microwave. I bought it to match up with Charles Bentley Kettle and Toaster as this was recommended by Amazon . It matches perfectly well done Amazon. I purchased cream which is a lovely colour.

So easy to use
I like the analog controls. Just turn the knob and away it goes. we only ever reheat food with microwaves, so it is perfect for us. The colour matched our other cookwear and looks great. We love the old fashioned look.

I just want to open the door, chuck the item on, turn it on for a few spins and take it out!
And it fits the bill and wont look strange in our old cottage!
my only gripe is that the instruction sticker top layer peeled off leaving the rest behind!

I normally go for digital microwaves. But this manual microwave is not too bad. The only downfall is the capacity is small. Unless you are doing some pretty precise cooking, then this shouldn’t be a problem and to be honest, if you are looking to be doing precise cooking, then you should be buying a digital microwave. I also don’t understand the negative comments about the label on the front. Okay, it would be nice if the manufacturer could have attached a more user friendly label, but 30 seconds with a bit of white spirit and the flat end of a wooden skewer and it was off. No lasting damage to the machine and not need for a hammer and chisel! Come on folks, if you’re going to complain about something then make it something useful that can people can use to make an informed decision on whether or not to buy.
Bottom line – if you want a good looking microwave that does the job at the price, then you could do worse than this.

Nice looking unit bought for my mother. Looks good and simple to use. Now rather that putting a main oven on for an hr, it takes just a few mins to warm up food 🙂

There is a label on the front of the microwave above the time dial in red writing that states you need to turn the timer past two minutes to cook for less than two minutes I tried to get it off and it has made a mess as the adhesive is impossible to get off this did not need to be there it should be mentioned in the manual.

Really happy with this purchase. The only reason I’ve marked durability down is because the knobs weren’t made of solid metal and a bit concerned how these will last in the long term.

As for moaning about stickers being hard to remove, yes it is a pain but i cleaned mine off in 5 mins. Looks great and matched other items
I have the kettle, toaster and coffee machine so was very pleased to find this. Probably could have got a basic cheaper microwave but it looks great and am happy to leave it out, rather than stick in a cupboard
It is a nice, glossy, little red microwave, it matches the other branded kitchen appliances we have, and good and accurate heating, as some microwaves exagerate there output. Would not hesitate to purchase

so far so good although as others have stated almost impossible to gauge time, looks really nice though. tip to get the sticker off the front one ripped off, use a little bit of oil on a rag and rub.

My mother had a stroke and I needed a microwave that is simple to operate and not too modern looking. Ideal on both counts, and even my mother has used it, her first ever microwave
Looks beautiful, difficult to get exact timing as settings are 2 mins apart and the pointer is rounded so I use a time
