Good quality light weight used by me do cut a large hedge bought a second large powerful battery because l new one wouldn’t do it. Its good and has a good warranty as well. Would recommend this well made.

It works as a cutting tool and easy to operate to reach high areas, the object of the design. The design of the switch needed to operate at arms length seems a little flimsy so only time will tell.
It is heavy. I am only 5 foot six and 60 kgs but I am fit, with really good core strength, and can easily lift my own body weight. I am glad I did not buy the version with even longer extention shaft.
Great extension trimmer. I have a number of hedges including laurel, yew and conifer. This is a handy tool for those out of normal reach trimming jobs. I can’t comment on the additional extension as I’ve not had cause to use it.
I teamed it with a 4Ah battery which has ample charge time. The blade cutting speed is somewhat lower than a mains powered equivalent. So bear this in mind if you are a hurried person.

Brilliant bit of kit. That extra 2foot reach over standard cutters is a real bonus.
Coupled with my 4 or 5Ah batteries it’s a very good tool!

As hedge trimmers go it isn’t too bad but the runtime even with a 5Ah battery is not great. You definitely get more grunt from a corded or petrol version.

Appareil impeccable , mais je l’ ai retourner car je croyais qu’il y avais l’ allonge mais non. Je vais commander l’ autre modle.
Well made and performs its function well. Tried it out on a thicket of brambles in an alleyway next to my house and it coped very well. Will get a much tougher test next summer on the hedges. Total weight is just about at my limit and I anticipate it making my arms ache after prolonged use.

Only slight negatives from my viewpoint are the weight – was a little nervous about using this on a tall hedge and losing control. Also, runs quite slow compared to other hedge trimmers I have used. Sounds like it is running out of battery power even when battery is fully charged. Otherwise ok.
Works great and as yet another ryobi one+ roduct in my collection it cuts the hedge great. Was hoping I could use extended a bit more so didn’t need ladders. The safety features mean you have to hold it half way up so cannot use at full reach. Apart from that it does what I wanted.
Acquistata senza aspettarmi granche’,mi sono dovuto ricredere. La uso con batterie di concorrenza,anche loro prese qui su Amazon: riesco a tagliare una siepe di lauro da 10 metri per 2 di altezza e 2 di profondita’ con una sola batteria e non arriva neanche a scaricrsi totalmente. Unica pecca,e’ un po’ pesante.
i liked using the hedge cutter as it seemed easy to go through the thick bushes and branches! The only issue I had was the weight, it seemed quite heavy after 10-15 minutes use and hot! I had a similar version before that wasn’t so heavy but slower at cutting! I guess it helps grow the arms 😉
Great product. Easy to use and the sweep attachment keeps blades clear if cuttings. Ryobi does it again. Great value and works really well. Used on laurel and yew. Great finish on both.

Im ersten Anlauf leider nicht i.O., ich hatte aber auch ein als “gebraucht” deklariertes Gert gekauft.
Ging zurck und wurde gegen eine neues getauscht.
Das ist top, schneidet problemlos, gut zu handhaben, bin wirklich begeistert.
Tolgo una stella solo per il fatto che con rami che cominciano ad avere una certa dimensione va in affanno… Ma d altronde certificato fino a rami di 16mm. Nel complesso un ottimo acquisto.
Ich als eingefleischter RYOBI 18V Akku-Fan arbeite sehr gern mit dieser Heckenschere.
Eine wahre Freude endlich kein Kabel mehr mitzuschleppen.
Die Reichweite und Bedienung ist einfach klasse.
Lediglich die Messer werden etwas schnell stumpf.
I have been impressed with ryobi for some time and now have the old blue style scroll saw and jig saw alongside the drill and they all just keep going. Having modernised their batteries and range, it is good to see they did not alter the battery fitment so the new batteries fit the old tools. I find this refreshingly unusual and it adds longevity to their product range. This has not had them lose out on sales as I also have a lawnmower, hedge trimmer and strimmer in their new range which I would not have been able to afford if I had to replace the older products. Keep it up Ryobi and please do not change your battery fittings ary any time!

Fr den gnstigen Preis sehr gute Qualit. Eines unserer Ryobigerte in sehr zufriedenstellender Aufmachung. Etwas schweres Gewicht wegen des Akkus, trotzdem relativ einfache Handhabung. Gert schneidet stundenlang sauber und zeigt sogar bei Buxbaum gute Ergebnisse. Wurde mittlerweile bei unseren vielen Bschen oft eingesetzt und zeigt keine Schwchen. Wrden wir jederzeit wieder kaufen.
Diese Heckenschere ist sehr gut verarbeitet und funktioniert sehr przise und zuverlssig. Die Handhabung ist sehr gut. Es lassen sich sogar hhere Hecken im Stehen ohne Leiter schneiden. Ich wrde dieser Produkt wieder kaufen!
Da bereits mehrere Akkus vorhanden waren fand ich den Preis von 70 Euro ohne Akku ganz okay und wollte es auf einen Versuch ankommen lassen.
Der erste Eindruck war etwas ernchternd, weil das Gert mit 4,0Ah-Akku relativ lahm wirkte, ich hatte den Eindruck es fehlt etwas an “Drehzahl”. Die Verarbeitung ist minimal wackelig, insgesamt aber vllig in Ordnung.
Habe dann ca. 20 Meter Kirschlorbeer-Hecke bearbeitet und alle Zweifel waren verflogen. Sehr sauberer Schnitt, die Heckenschere schafft ordentlich was. Bei sten ber 1,5 cm bleibt sie stecken, verfngt sich aber nicht.
Schn sind die Verstellmglichkeiten des Griffes sowie die Abwicklung in der Mitte – so kann man recht exakt arbeiten ohne sich zu verdrehen und zu verkrampfen. Das Gewicht ist auch okay, hatte trotz groem Akku nicht das Gefhl die Heckenschere wre zu schwer.
Der Akkubetrieb ist sowieso toll, keine Kabel ziehen, nicht zwischendurch aufhren und umzustpseln oder so. Man kommt dadurch schneller voran.
Durch den Dauerbetrieb hlt der Akku natrlich nicht so lange wie beim kurzen Bohren oder Sgen. Die Heckenschere luft halt eher kontinuierlich. Hab aber mit einem 4,0Ah-Akku 20 Meter Hecke (ber 2 Meter hoch) von allen Seiten komplett grndlich geschnitten, dann war der Akku alle. Wrde sagen, dass man schon einen groen Akku verwenden sollte, die kleinen werden dafr zu unterdimensioniert sein.
Ich wrde dieses Gert auf jeden Fall wiederkaufen und auch weiterempfehlen!
Wie die berschrift bereits besagt, ist die Schere ganz schn schwer.
Ich habe sie zwar nicht gewogen, aber im Gegensatz zu meiner bisherigen mit Leitungsstrom versorgten Heckenschere ist diese ziemlich schwer. Meine Arme waren nach ziemlich kurzer Zeit bereits am Kmpfen. Allerdings muss ich auch die ganze Zeit ber Kopfhhe arbeiten.
Ein sehr groer Vorteil ist halt, dass man den Winkel der Schere einstellen kann. So kann ich ber Kopf die Hecke auf der Oberseite schneiden ohne auf eine Leiter angewiesen zu sein.
Auf Grund des Muskelkaters wurde ich die Schere vermutlich nicht noch einmal holen, auf Grund der Akkuversorgung und des einstellbaren Winkels wohl schon.
Eine klare Kaufempfehlung ist es zwar nicht aber in Summe wrde ich diese Heckenschere vermutlich doch noch einmal kaufen. Trainiert ja nunmal auch extrem die Unterarme 🙂
Schere auspacken,zusammenbauen,geladenen Akku einschieben und es geht los.Bequem zu handhaben,sauberer Schnitt,2m Hhe -kein Problem.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr schn,die Anleitung ist ausreichend.Da Qualitt und Bedienbarkeit einfach passen kannich die Heckenschere uneingeschrnkt empfehlen.
Super Gert , kein Bcken mehr beim Schneiden im Bodenbereich.
Ebenso in der Hhe.

Akku hlt mindestens fr 50m Hecke !!
keine Durchtrennen eines Elektrokabels whrend des Heckenschnitts, durch den Klappmechanismus und den relativ langen Griff wird nicht immer eine Leiter bentigt, Akkulaufzeit ist ausreichend, Gewicht ist o.g.
aufgrund positiver Erfahrungen mit anderen Gerten von Ryobi habe ich diese Heckenschere gekauft. Ohne lstiges Kabel geht es viel leichter, schneidet auch strkere Zweige problemlos ab. Vollauf zufrieden.

Gutes Produkt mit vielen Einstellmglichkeiten zum optimalen Handling. Bestellvorgang und Lieferung perfekt. Sehr gefllt wie erwartet, das man ohne lstiges Kabel sofort losschneiden kann. Akku reicht fr kleinere Hecken. Es wird einfach Zeit gespart.
Long Reach hat sich auf jeden Fall bezahlt gemacht, und ich bereue nicht die lange Variant der “normalen” vorgezogen zu haben.
Gartenarbeit gehrt fr mich eher zum notwendigen bel – diese Heckenschere ist fr mich definitiv ein Trostpflaster.
Den einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil das Gert an den Stellen an denen man es einstellen (abwinkeln und drehen) kann einen wackeligen Eindruck macht, d.h. zu viel Spiel hat. Ich bin gespannt wie lange das sicher hlt. Da ich aber bisher gute Erfahrungen mit Ryobi gemacht habe (5 Gerte im Haus) bin ich guter Dinge.
Bisher wrde ich das Gert wieder kaufen.
