The Ryobi R18JS7-0 18V ONE+ Cordless Brushless Jigsaw is ideal for cutting straight and curved lines in a variety of materials such as wood, metal, plastic and ceramic. Its versatility allows it to be used for projects such as kitchen installation, cutting laminate flooring, craft and upcycling; wherever you need to achieve an intricate cut. Great addition if you use Ryobi One+
Great adjustments, lasts long (depends on battery), easy to hold, good balance.
Bought for a kitchen renovation, as I already have Ryobi one+ system. Worked perfect to cut countertop, hole for hub, sink, etc.
It’s not top-end, but it’s not top-end price either. For a regular DIYer this is great value.

This replaced my older cheaper Ryobi, their products may not be top of the pile but are good value for money, this is no exception, it performs better than my old one and is nice to use

Was really hesitant about a battery jigsaw, but I have a couple of their drills and a reciprocating saw which I’m happy with, so when my electric jigsaw gave up I decided to give it a go. So far so good, glad I went for one of the higher spec models.

Fantastic jigsaw, the best iv used
Fantastic bit of kit. Iv used this for multiple materials from timber to sheet wood, iv even used it for steel with the right blades. Minces through the lot accurately. There is a setting to cut fast and aggressive or nice and accurately. Have t tried the angled cut yet, but imagine it will work 100%
Brilliant tool
I bought it 6 months ago and just 3 days ago I used it first time, I finally had to remove my old corded Bosch jigsaw and start using this one. I used it with long Bosch blades to cut 6″x3″ timber at hardware store to make sure that it will fit into my car and did brilliant job

Can recommend, not cheap but frees you from the cable of doom. I have several One+ tools now and I would recommend wholeheartedly for DIY use.

This is up there with my circular saw. I’m glad I paid a bit more and got this one. It’s very accurate and the supplied blade munches though 38mm plywood like it’s 5mm.
Nice to have the led to light up the cutting area. Very easy to keep it lined up.

I chose the jigsaw in the belief it would be a highly versatile tool – since I don’t do so much wood work that I need loads of different power saws. I was sort of right. I did have a bad debut experience using the supplied blade and a pack of Wickes blades which wandered like mad, ruining my materials and causing no end of stress. I then purchased some high quality bosch blades and did some research on using the tool properly and – hey presto – it wasn’t the tool it was the blades and the operator that we’re the problem. It is indeed reliable and precise and versatile and I’m very happy. With the right blade for the job you can do many things with this to including long straight cuts. Just do your YouTube research first and BUY THE RIGHT BLADES!

Whilst doubtless not the cheapest cordless jigsaw on the market, if you are already invested in the Ryobi One+ range, you really can’t go wrong adding this to your collection. For several years, I have been using a dated jigsaw and as much as anything else, decent blades were proving nigh on impossible to get hold of and so I decided to bite the bullet and invest in the Ryobi cordless. Best decision I ever made. From past experience, cordless tools often lack the power of corded but that is definitely not the case with this baby.
What do I like? The speed and accuracy of cuts (to include adjustable cutting speeds/angles). The power behind it (so the cutting is effortless). The fact that it’s lightweight (I do tend to suffer with repetitive strain in my arm and so not dealing with a weighty tool for long periods is a huge plus for me).
What don’t I like? What’s not to like?
Any recommendations? I invested in a further battery (5.0Ah) albeit I haven’t found this saw to be particularly ‘power hungry’. Buy the accompanying Ryobi blades which are brilliant (strong and sharp) and good quality blades = good quality cuts!
Expensive ... especially when you factor in teh battery and charge
despite this, it a good bit of kit. I bought this to replace a (crappy) B&Q own label jigsaw which never could cut a straight line! This does. If you’ve ‘bought in to the One range and already have the battery/ charger, then go for it. Else, there must be cheaper versions for sale ….?

Ryobi, for me, are top quality tools. And this is no exception. Cordless and powerful. I only have a 1.5 aH battery and it does a LOT of work with it.
Good quality jig saw
have only used once but did job. Easy to adjust for cutting angles. Blade change is fiddly to begin with but simple after a few changes. Like the adjustable speed
Great quality tool, a lot better than the standard Ryobi jigsaw. A good bit more expensive but worth it in my opinion for the much higher accuracy of cut.
