another cordless brushless drill
My previous (slightly smaller) ryobi died recently. Still, overall I was happy with the quality for the money, I did a lot of projects with it, so I decided to buy another Ryobi product. This time the drill bit is a bit bigger/heavier. The most annoying part of it is the sound! You don’t expect that kind of sound from a cordless drill, but this model has it.
Overall, it’s good so far.

This is an excellent drill very powerful have no problem driving screws and drilling holes ,tested it on wood and steel had no problems .would definitely recommend this tool
The Best.
I have used and owned Ryobi products for years both as DIY and on the job. Both my drills are over 15 years old now. They came with nicad batteries but worn out I upgraded to 2.4 amp/hrs lion batteries. I have used this drill today and super impressed. Such an upgrade on what I was using. I also bought new 5.0 amp/hrs batteries and they are excellent.

This is a solid piece of kit and is capable of pretty much anything you want to put it up against.
What really earned the five stars was the service given. If you have any questions or issues they are quick to respond, helpful and understanding. They really care! I am really happy with this company and when I buy tools in the future I’ll be checking if these guys have one in stock before thinking about going somewhere else.

Brilliant little tool
I have used this tool constantly for 8 months and its performance has been reliable and to standard. When the gear selector jammed I contacted Amazon who replaced the drill very promptly. Would definitely buy again.
I love the One+ system
I now have three of these drills. With a 4.0 or 5.0 battery they go all day. Very convenient to have multiples and at this price it’s possible. I now have 15 different tools from Ryobi One+. They’re good solid kit.

Drill came without notice of selle
Wanted a replacement for my old Black & Decker corded drill. It did the job of making a row of fixing holes in a masonary internal wall without any trouble. Already had the battery from my range of Ryobi garden tools.

As with all the Ryobi tools I’ve bought, this drill is great value and works well. No problems at all. You won’t be disappointed.
Handy and Lite
A nice Light yet powerful drill, very useful for DiY or prolonged one handed use, Wouldn’t recommend for heavy duty drilling.

Had the brush type for DIY lasted and worked well and on occasions went the extra mile. It started smoken the final time I used it… a very good DIY tool. I’m using the brushless now, it impressed me from the get go and feels like it will last forever.

How did I cope before I had this? Convenient, wieldy and powerful, this tool has made my life much easier. I sheared several screws before I realised just how much torque this bit of kit produced, but when I dialled back the power, all was well.

Viel Kraft für wenig Geld
Top Gert mit viel Kraft. Wie nicht anders gewohnt. Leider fehlt die Przision ein wenig was der Steuerung des Antriebs geschuldet sein wird.

Great drill from a great make
Great range of tools from Ryobi, all using the same batteries. This is a good drill and seems to have excellent torque and power.
Had an issue with the speed change lever which was very stiff, but a little silicon spray cured that.
It’s predecessor, a similar Ryobi drill, lasted 15 years, 6 of which when it was used in a theatre workshop all day every day 6 days a week. I hope this lasts that long!
Ideal midrange drill.
Pretty decent drill for the money. Like all Ryobi One+ products it is good value with decent performance. They’re not as good as DeWalt but they’re also a lot cheaper.

Feels and looks like a well built drill
Was looking to replace a burnt out Bosch corded hammer drill which was getting on in years. Previous purchase of a Ryobi drill/driver and long reach garden hedge trimmer pushed me into buying this as the other stuff has been very good, lets hope so
Worth the wai
I’ve been meaning to buy this for ages. As I have the ryobi driver uve until now switched drill bits between driver. Got this to save me time. Well worth it. Doing a decking. Its saved me 50% of time. The hammer drill is surprisingly effective. I have a corded hammer drill but this is just as powerful. Excellent tool

Puissante, légère, pratique et jolie
J’ai ralis plusieurs percements en mode percussion et ma batterie 2.5 Ah a bien tenu le choc.
L’outil a une bonne prise en main et n’est pas excessivement lourd.
En mode vissage, je n’ai pas bien russi doser la vitesse pourtant rgle au minimum et j’ai bouff une tte de vis assez vite, mais je dbute dans le domaine :-), je vais retravailler la question.
J’apprcie l’clairage intgr et j’adore l’esthtique de cet outil !

The drill was very good and very powerful but make sure to check the torque selector and all other functions click into place smoothly all across the range. I had to return mine as sometimes the torque selector would get stuck e.g. stuck on torque setting 4, stuck on drill, now stuck on hammer!!! This is super annoying trying to make a quick job of something if you have to keep fiddling the selector until finally it budges. Probably just a bad egg as I ordered again elsewhere and everything functioned perfectly.
Happy with the drill.
Value for money 5/5 (for 99 a fair deal), Ease of use 4/5 (buttons can be a little stiff), Lightweight 4/5 (had lighter drills)

Having used Ryobi tools some years now…needed a new drill and this ones fantastic and no doubt will last as long as my old ones…both old but still working

Good Ryobi One+ Drill/Drive
I have a number of Ryobi one+ tools so might be a bit biased, but they are a great tool for the home diyer/ semi pro. Good light on the base lights up your work area and a number of speeds and torque settings for all different applications. Remember this tool doesn’t come with a battery, so you’ll need to purchase one if you don’t already have one+ tools.

conforme, efficace, acceptant de percer avec prcision le bois, le plastique, le bton, les briques, les parpaings, le cuivre, le BA13, les plaques alvolaire, … bref tous ce que l’on rencontre dans un appartement ancien parisien.
Love this drill! It is well made and solid like all Ryobi tools with a full metal chuck. It has plenty of torque and lasts for ages when used with a 5 Ah battery pack. The addition of the battery is what adds most of the weight to the drill so using it above head height for long periods may be tiring. Apart from that I would definitely recommend buying this drill.
I had a Ryobi one+ drill for years (10) but it gave way through the gearbox giving in. I went with Ryobi again and I’m more than pleased. Firstly the e-torque feature is amazing, it has different settings for each mode. If you put it in screw tighten mode it uses high and low torque on the selector this gives you 20 settings. If you switch it in to drill its high and low speed, and if you’re using hammer action I think it’s low and high torque again but don’t quote me on the hammer action. It seems to be only ever so quite faster on setting 1 compared to setting 2 so i’m assuming its torque not speed. It’ll take up to 13mm bits unless you’re using a wood spade ended hole cutter which it’ll do up to 50mm. Another quality thing is the chuck is all steel and the drill itself feels quality in your hand and to use.
Good enough
Pretty good. Does the job. LED light aiming up from the bottom by the grip is not as useful as the one on their other 18v drill which is a circular light around the chuck. The speed/hammer settings are not so clear but you get used to them. As with all Ryobi kit you get a soft bag (or nothing) instead of a good, rigid plastic case
