This is my second weather station and I have just set up, results are good. The extra range from monitor to weather station makes it easy to set up.

I am please with the way this works as a weather station. It is a replacement for an older one, and I wanted it becasue I like the ability to store display the weather imformation. However, it took many trials and errors to get the software working. For a time I compleletely lost my internet when it told me to connect my device to Easy-Weather WiFi.
And, when I wanted to view my data in ecowitt.net, I had to look hard to discover that what your meant by “STATIONID” is just the Mac No.

Up and working in 5 minutes, everything you need in the box. Unless you are in the UK in which case you need a Euro to UK plug adapter.

Very easy to setup, it seemed to just work!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in numerous other 5 star reviews? This is a great piece of kit, and I am very happy with it. I particularly like the connection to wunderground.com that keeps all my data, letting me look at graphs on a daily, weekly or monthly basis going back to when I first started logging. I’m looking forward to when I can review the last year and more of data! As a few others have noted the process to send your data via the internet to wunderground or other sites does require some technical knowhow, but should be manageable to those with basic tech skills.

I have only just installed this and it has been working for one day. However, I am happy with my purchase at this stage and think the display console is ideal for size and very clear and sits nicely on a stand. The European plug for use with the console requires a uk plug adaptor ( Shaver Style) but this isn’t detrimental to the product. I have mounted mine using the swann neck pole which is available from Amazon and does the job very well indeed. See the attached photo. I have connected the console through my router and upload data to the Ecowitt site which enables me to track data changes through the app in Play Store or App Store. All in all an upgrade on what I had used previously and at this stage would highly recommend this weather station as the existing product reviews are spot on so far.

First impressions are this is a great piece of ki

Works really well and easy to send your data to the internet/cloud services however it doesn’t come with a UK plug so you’ll need to purchase a travel adaptor to be able to plug in.

This is a well packaged, well-designed unit providing an amazing amount of data in a compact package. Easy to assemble and use, I am
looking forward to using it in the days and months to come.

Great looking compact weather station compared to my previous one with wires hanging everywhere. easy to install on top of an aerial pole. The display unit is very good and clear and love the colour scheme. The unit is fairly easy to set up, only connecting to WiFi and Wunderground proved a bit of a challenge to a senior like myself but I got there in the end. I like the graphs etc. and details collected by this site from the station. Overall I’m very pleased and consider it good value for money.

Easy to put together and get the console & remote connected. Easy to connect to network but took some time to connect to the websites; I think this is a problem with understanding what the websites want and how to get it.

he Weather Station arrived at 16.00 and I had it fully installed and running by 17.30. Very easy to set up and install in garden (Had purchased aluminum pole in anticipation, see pic.). Worth ensuring you use a compass app to align to True North, but sensor has a built in bubble level to confirm that it is fixed perfectly horizontally at top of the pole.
Instruction booklet written in proper English and easy to follow. Using an iPhone I was connected to 3 online weather servers including Wunderground within a further 30 mins. The console connected to the sensors immediately. Within first 24 hours of monitoring we experienced torrential rain for 20 mins (2.0mm of rain fell during this time), some very bright sunshine and gusts of wind up to 23 mph. have checked temperature readings, wind speed and humidity with manual thermometer, anemometer and hygrometer. Excellent concordance with remote sensor readings.
Amazing value for money. Obviously too early to comment on robustness and battery life expectancy but will update at end of the year.
One small gripe is that the 5v DC power supply for the console has European 2 pin plug. Currently using UK shaver adapter but have sent for a compatible 3-pin adapter from Amazon. Would have been nice if this was included for UK sales!
Excellent and well made product. Great connectivity. Really pleased with it.

Personal Weather Station has exceeded my expectations. Should come with a UK plug adapter though.

Lifelong want for a weather station and got this after a few purchases with others but this seems pretty ok, 1stly you’ve got to erect it ! then the fun begins, connecting it to the web, my it’s like using a MS computer lol.. but sorted that using ecowitt. You need to specify the settings ie i needed to alter the air pressure which i did via checking the air pressure, dont talk to me about Relative and Absolute, I’ll bore you senseless lmao…

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the first time I have purchased a weather station. Happy to say, it was easy to install and setup, typically didn’t read the instructions much… But I’m a bloke.

The Bad:. My girlfriend now thinks I’m a sad twat and take the piss constantly… this maybe because I keep looking at it and giving her weather reports every 30 mins.

I’ve been using this weather station for a few weeks now and so far have been very happy with it. The components came well packaged and seem well made.
Set up was relatively straightforward – although trying to align the unit using the in-built bubble level while at height on top of a pole wasn’t that easy (perhaps they should put it underneath?) Everything seems to work well – although we haven’t had any rain since I installed it, so I will have to wait to see how well that measurement works (not complaining about no rain though!).
I’ve mounted the station on a pole attached to the shed roof in the back garden. The display unit is on the other side of the house but no problems with receiving the signal. The display unit looks good and functions well. My only gripes would be that the screen is only clearly seen from a certain angle, so looking at it from above or below the correct angle does detract from the view. Also, during set-up there is a reliance on multiple button presses of one particular button, which makes it hard to keep track of where you are. Other than that, very happy so far.
I’ve also linked it to Ecowitt and have enjoyed looking at the graphs and data.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had been looking at getting myself a weather station for a while, but spent some time reading up on the different models, features etc. Wasn’t til further on I discovered that there are WiFi models out there where you can contribute to the likes of Wunderground, Weathercloud etc. There was one already set up in my village, so why not another? At least we can both verify each other’s info.

I did originally have my heart set on a Bresser model, but read amongst several reviews issues with rain gauge. To be honest, I favoured it as it came with it’s own fixing, however not a big deal if weather station came without. So gave that one a miss in the end.

So the Sainlogic 7 in 1 weather station with WiFi. I was fortunate enough to get this when a sale was on, so got it for 105, whereas as I write this review, it is circa 147! I will point out the only negative I have found with it, came with a Euro plug, but got an adaptor the same day so no big deal.

Assembly of the station is straight forward. Goes together fairy quickly and for fixings, including pole and bracket, I bought these from toolstation. The pole is ideal, the bracket is maybe overkill for all intents and purposes but means it will never fail!

The display screen is colour rich and very clear. As soon as panel switched on, it connected with the station (remember to include batteries in both).

Now this is the timely part, panel/station set up. Read the instructions and follow each step. Most of it is setting the units you want to display, time, date etc. Last part of set up is connecting the station to the WiFi. Again, pretty straight forward and intuitive. The final thing I did was set up a Wunderground account and added the station to it. All connected up now and information feeds into the display and the wider internet. 4 stars due to coming with euro plug.

Thought about one for ages, got one!

Easy to assemble and set up the sensors. Calibration of the pressure was easy too, using a local weather station for comparison.

Not hooked up to WiFi yet, as that’s more involved, but will update when I do.

    Things I don’t like.
The power box (wall wart) is the European type, with a small DC power jack on the end where it plugs into the base station.
A micro USB would have been more convenient for this, as I plan to power the base station via my small workshop solar power system, especially as there’s no mains power where I want to site the base station.

Otherwise it’s a good upgrade from my Watson 5 function weather station, which lasted 13 years before failing.
I’m hoping this more expensive station last just as long.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUpdate:

I’ve mounted my weather station now and managed to find an adapter for the foreign plug that comes with the monitor (you need this in order to get wifi connected. All good so far, but gripes still remain that the mount can only fix to a pole and doesn’t come with a british plug. Also, future models add a compass to the outside device and a motion sensor to the indoor monitor (quite annoying to have to keep pressing the light button…).

The data though is great. I’m quite addicted to watching updates throughout the day and seeing the data overtime which is why I wanted something like this.

Upgraded to 4 stars as once you get it all sorted it’s definitely worth it. I’m still worried what will happen to the plastic bits in a strong wind though. If it was sturdier I might have gone to 5 stars.

    Original:

The LCD display is ready to set up. quite poor quality sadly and difficult to view at an angle. Frustrating beep noise that can be turned off.

Sensor unit is well built. Unfortunately the attachments are quite flimsy and sit loose on it. These are so going to be lost in a strong wind. The unit only gives the option to put on a pole which is a bit annoying.

I haven’t put it up yet as I need additional equipment.

Not the most sturdy or easy to mou

Great value, easy to set up, connecting to net easy apart from WOW, but the app walks you through the others quite simply. WiFi is excellent. Unit about 40 metres from router and has windows and walls to get through and does it easily. I bought a 10ft x 1 1/2 inch pole to attach to,to clear the hedge. So much simpler than my previous WS to set up and use. The display console is big and clear and colourful. Really good and easy to read info in house. Would recommend to any weather watcher.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my mum; it all seems to be operating correctly, however we’ve only tested it so far as where we want to mount the outdoor unit requires an additional bracket; a suitable bracket was offered as a free gift by a leaflet included in the box, on the proviso that I write an Amazon product review.

Once we receive the bracket and set the unit up fully I will update this review.

The display is very clear. The station was easy to install and assemble, I can’t really comment on accuracy as I’ve got nothing to compare it to. However when both the sensors were inside they both gave exactly the same readings which is reassuring. The WS view app for the set up the QR code takes you too is a bit clunky but there is a WS pro (newer ?) app in the store that works much better.

This provides me with a lot of information at home, but it is the ability to see it all online ,when I am away that is more important. Connecting it to Weather Underground also stores and graphs the data over time.

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersSainlogic Professional WLAN Weather Station with Solar powered Outdoor Sensor

It was only the other day I was checking my readings from the weather station that I realised that I’d never left a review for the thing. So even though I’m 16 months late here it is.

As you’ve gathered, I’ve had this in operation for nearly 16 months now, it has given me data 24/7 without interruption, it has been through torrential thunderstorms, gale force winds, heatwaves, frost etc and still is quite happy to sit out on my garden fence taking various measurements. I would say that it’s well made based on all that and well worth the money.

Set up is rather quick, it doesn’t come supplied with a pole so I ordered a 3′ Cranked ‘SWAN’ Neck Pole/Mast & Wall Clamp Facia Bracket , this fitted perfectly and I was able to attach this to the fence. The weather vane has to be screwed on, as well as the wind direction unit. Two batteries must then be inserted, AA size if I can recall, this powers up the unit and transmits the data to the control unit in the house. A solar panel is installed on top of the PWS and this is sufficient to provide enough power in the daytime, I placed these 2 batteries in 16 months ago and I haven’t had a need to change them yet!

When positioning the PWS, ensure the arrow pointing North, on top of the PWS, is facing North, use a compass or any compass App on the mobile. A small spirit level is attached to the unit to allow you to install it completely level.

The indoor display unit is rather large and can be placed on a desk using the desk stand bracket or it can be wall mounted, which is how I’ve got mine.

The display unit will also need batteries but this is for the backup function, it will show a display if you press a button to light it up but the battery won’t last long doing that so best use the supplied mains power adapter. The adapter plug is a 2 pin version, I used a shaver adapter to get it working!

Connection to the outdoor PWS and the display unit was almost instantaneous, a signal bar on the display indicates the strength of signal, mines actually 18ft away and I have a wall separating it yet my signal strength is on full.

The tasking part is connecting the display unit to the internet so that you can send data to various websites. You need to download the WS View App, from their, following the onscreen instructions, you should be able to link the App to the display unit. Once that is done the readings will start showing up on the App. Now you can start setting up accounts with Weather Wunderground, Ecowitt etc, then when you have set up accounts, you can access the WS View App which will allow you to connect to these sites.

The data available from the outdoor station is as follows:

    Rainfall
    UV radiation
    Sunlight
    Wind speed
    Wind direction
    Temperature
    Humidity
    Pressure

The indoor display also measures indoor temperature and pressure. Most external sites that you transmit the data to will keep a historic record of your data and provide it in table or graph form for you to print out or download, it’s very interesting.

If the batteries in the outdoor unit needs changing then it will tell you on the indoor display, like I said earlier, my batteries have been in for 16 months and are still going.

Overall, it’s a good PWS, works 24/7, has never caused me any issues and provides a wealth of information.

    Well worth the money.

    Highly recommended!

N.B. This PWS isn’t expandable, you can’t add additional modules such as soil temperature or air quality modules.

Fantastic weather station, has worked none stop for over 12 months now!

Just set this up so waiting for the accuracy to develop on the rain and wind side of things, also need to check it is level. The display unit is very good and clear and love the colour scheme. The unit is fairly easy to set up, only just set it up yesterday so not set up any App yet or took any detailed readings so will give more feedback later.
Issue I have keeping it at 4 stars is the wind speed gauge seems inaccurate , It’s very windy out their and I have checked the weather channel and it’s about 20-30mph outside and the display shows around 2-5mph and has never been above 5mph yet so not sure what is wrong.

    Update after a year.
Hi all My weather station still sends data to my console but for some reason it is offline on WU & Ecowitt, worked for a year, now can’t get access to any of the data on line anymore.

Got it working again but still can’t get the wind gauge to show more than about 8mph even in a storm and the cup is spinning frantically so not sure what the issue there is.

Rain cup got dodgy for a while so had to clean any rubbish that blew into it out and it;s ok now.

The weather station was securely packaged and delivered on time. Setting up the sensors was mostly straightforward. The set screw on the wind vane was extremely tight, almost stripped the head .
Mounting the sensor unit and connecting it to the display was straightforward .
The major problem is connecting it to the internet. Not sure if the app. is to blame or if Ecowitt and Wunderground are the culprits.
The manual is mostly useless, the usual translation mess.
The equipment is quite robust and looks well made and the data seems to be in-line with local Met Office figures
