Ideal purchase with futuristic basis and potential
Very nice and ansale discount.Do not know how to use it at its best potential.Unlikely to use the mobile function too often but will appteciste it as a bonus asset eventually.Very good value considering even kids nowdays with their phone and a tab for homework have to fork out well over 1000 each.Delightrd with this item so fa
Great, no issues whatsoeve
Easy to set up, no complications. Feels great, it is a bit heavier than other tablets but I personally like that because it feels good quality! Palm rejection is great on this so it is fabulous for drawing and also writing.
Good value great for movies
Great screen good for movies… Battery life pretty good value for money
Nice, Sleek and Elegant.
Very nice and headphone jack is the main reason i bought.
Just remember their is no Dex option in this that is in S6 but in that their is no headphone jack option. And this S6 Lite comes without headphones in the box.
I'm very pleased with this.
It’s a very nice bit of kit at a good price.
Great experience
I bought for note taking, the hardest thing is to get a good app, this tablet does all that it should righ
I love it .
I recommend this, because I just bought it to study and it looks great.
Speedy and high quality display
Great tablet. Quick, good looking, pen excellent, screen quality great. Easy to connect to the televisio
wonderful table
bought a xmas present for my wife and she loves it ,also bought a magnetic folding cover also brilliant. called FINTIE
Very good.
I have been using this alot and found it to be very useful.
A joy to use i
It was a present for my wife and she is very happy with it. I haven’t got a sim card for it as we don’t need for now but good to know there is the choice. Maybe screen is not as good as more expensive on but still brilliant. Battery last long enough and I believe it will improve after few more charges. Comes with a free pen which is a bonus. I would strongly recommend if you want an Android table
It works well
The screen is great, the sound is actually louder than I would like at times. The main problem I have is with performance, its usually fine but I definitely notice that scrolling within web pages and applications is not smooth nor picked up the same way everytime. Wifi performance also seems to be really quite poor compared to other devices I have in the same place.
The product is good quality, however I feel the size is a bit too big for my liking. Bit slow sometimes too. Bought it as a gift as was on promo apparently, but it turned out to be a small print scam! Disappointed as bought instead of an iPad due to a specified discount in order to save money…
Great table
Bought this to replace an iPad Air 2. Really impressed. Great build quality and easy to set up. Use it mainly as a media player…
Usual Samsung Quality
I love samsung brand, this is no exception, top quality
Wow. Must buy. Buy one more for my children later.
The quality of the tablet were exceptional, in terms of price, screen quality, connection speed, easy to use, perfect for watching movies, playing games, online class and even signing documents digitally. Has a capacity to store large documents and add memory card, 128gb, mine for instance. Its bluetooth connections were brialliant . It connects and use bluetooth keyboard, bluetooth mouse and bluetooth earphone at the same time.
Arrived on Time
Thank you just what I wanted at the right price
good support for school work
my daughter is very happy with this gadget and she used it at school to present her work . Price quite reasonable compared to ipad pro however the specification is less .
Great for daily use, and the pen is excellent for drawing/desig
Excellent tablet
Screen (resolution (2000×1200)):
It is sharp and crisp. It gets very bright and is responsive to touch
Build quality: very sturdy, feels nice in the hands and even under heavy loads the casing remains cold to the touch
Performance: I haven’t stress tested it, but for my needs (video streaming, browsing the web, drawing designs and flows, music streaming) the tablet is fast and gets the job done without any noticeable delays.
The S-Pen: this is the reason I bought this tablet, and I haven’t been disappointed. It works great for sketching designs and is also useful for using the tablet as a whole, it adds another layer of polish and use to day to day usage of the table
Secure postages With Pin password Confirmatio
Amazing Idea, whether it was purely on they high Value. A unique Pin password that is emailed to yourself prior to parcel Arriving.
Then, that has to be verbally’ confirm to the deliver driver..
Makes a change from, card board box’s been left ‘at time’ on view and countless in they rain!!!..
Thrill with tablet although Not a Technology Mastermind & I will learn And discover as I go..
Great screen in a good speed tablet. Samsung have nailed a good formula.
So far very impressed, quick, responsive and a great screen. Not really hammered the battery yet, so not too sure how that will last on a car trip video binge, but seems good so far.
Great product easy to use
The best tablet I have had for along time plus it comes with a pen. Though it only had two speakers the sound quality is really good.
Easy to use
Only draw back the charging cable is really sho

Glad I bought i
Got this to replace my 9 year old Samsung tablet that still works but was out of date for some apps. Been very pleased with my purchase I’m not very tech minded but have got on really well with it pen works grea
ipad
used to own ipad’s and I must say you get a lot more from samsung. Love that one to be honest, comes with the pen too. Also you can download your own modded apk’s
Worth £279 or less. Okay for media consumptio
DO NOT BUY FOR 300! IT’S NOT THE LOWEST PRICE THIS TABLET HAS FALLEN!
I bought this on Prime day for 279 while Samsung was offering the Galaxy Buds for free with proof of purchase. The Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal isn’t the lowest price it has dropped. I’m sure that it’ll drop even lower in the following months.
———————————————————–
I bought the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite for my mother to replace the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. The specs are middling to low so don’t expect a quick and snappy tablet. You do notice the slight lag when using the interface.
It’s nice that you get the S Pen for jotting down notes, but I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone planning to use it for drawing. I think it’s best to either get the cheaper iPad with the Apple pencil, or if you can save up for the Galaxy Tab S7 as the S Pen’ s latency matches the Apple Pencil now.
The screen is fairly vibrant for LCD, but it’s a definite downgrade in vibrancy compared to OLED, even in comparison to the old Galaxy Note tablet. I’m disappointed that the screen looks blurry despite it being the full 1080p. I honestly thought it had a lower pixel density. My mother doesn’t notice the difference so that’s all that matters.
I would consider this over the Galaxy Tab A as that only has 2gb ram. I find this unacceptable as even the old Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 has 4gb ram. This might sound minor, but this will guarantee a short lifespan for the Galaxy Tab A as it will experience slowdown quicker and won’t be able to keep up with future apps. I would prefer tablets to have at least 6gb ram because phones commonly have 8gb ram. There’s no excuse for this as ram shouldn’t cost too much.
———————————————————–
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is fine if you’re just using it for reading and watching videos, maybe even some note taking. This is definitely not for intensive games or drawing. The screen quality isn’t amazing, not only because lack of AMOLED, but it also generally lacks sharpness.
If you can get the Galaxy Tab S5e for a comparable price, go got that instead. It’s better in every way. If you can spend a bit more, get the Galaxy Tab S6, while for artists, try to save up for Galaxy Tab S7 due to the lower pen latency.

A solid performer, beats the 2020 ipad in most aspects and looks super stylish
A brilliant tablet. I was choosing between the new 2020 Ipad and this one. Glad I bought it!
It includes the S-pen and its super light but feels good and balanced in hand. Brilliant for someone like me who get pain from touch screens. It has magnet so it clicks nicely to the side of the tablet. With ipad it would have costed some 80 for the pen. AND! The S-pen doesnt need charging at all!
The tablet looks modern with thinnish bezels and laminated screen, unlike ipad which looks so dated now and non-laminated screen. It looks beatiful.
It has sterero speakers that work when tablet is horisontal so perfect for watching movies, youtube etc. Again on ipad the speakers are both on the bottom of the tablet.
Plenty of memory unlike Ipad again… and it has SD Card slot so can expand even more if need.
Negatives?
No finger print senser is a bummer. But it has face regognition which is ok for me.
Before I start I would like to disclaim that I am a student and this review is from the point of a UK student.
I bought this tablet recently to replace my Tab A 10.1 2019 and my main reasons for the upgrade were, the addition of the s pen, the better specifications and the better futureproofing. I’ll explain
The tab s6 lite is running the same chipset as samsungs A51 2020 phone. It’s a decent midrange chipset and the 4GB of ram ensures your last 4 to 5 apps stay open which is great for multitasking. Gaming is also fine (not as good as on the ipad 8th generation however) high intensity games such as CoD and PUBG mobile run fine on medium settings with occasional stutter here and there.
Samsung recently announced an unprecedented 3 years of software support for a few of their latest devices including this one, this means it will receive Android 13. Great if you intend to keep it a while.
Now the infamous S pen. This is my first time with an S pen and I must say I’m impressed. Yes it’s light but I like this form factor, It really is subjective. But with the addition of One UI 2.5 this pen, despite not having a battery and not needing charging, has gained some amazing features such as smart select. Additionally the recent updates to Samsung notes makes it a real contender in the note taking world. The pen’s rubber tip has more resistance than the Apple pen making it slightly easier for beginners to write and draw. My handwriting is pretty bad but even I enjoyed note taking and planning on here.
I noticed alot of people complaining about the strength of the s pens magnets but i belive this is to do with incorrect placement. It needs to be nib facing up at the bottom of the right side to attach properly.
For me it was between this and the Ipad 8th generation. Although the Ipad is more powerful and has the benefits of Ipad OS the s6 lite’s better video watching aspect ratio, s pen, speakers and expandable storage kept me on the android side.
Overall a great tablet that will only get better with time

Great Tablet all round.
Feel in lucky got for good price, still worth full price.
Brilliant Tablet! Definitely recommend it!
Bought one myself back in April, so when my daughter wanted a tablet for Christmas this was my first choice.
A premium tablet at a good price. The quality is excellent and the pen is superb. Would recommend getting one of the magnetic cases

User friendly
I am extremely please with my Samsung tablet. Simple to use, the screen is a perfect size for me with clean bright pictures. The pen is an added tool which I have found very useful. I have no problem with the battery life which is good.
Great service
Great purchase, lucky to get a great promotional gift of some galaxy ear buds alongside this great product.
From the first click to ordering and the so so quick delivery everything’s been great service.
Brilliant.
Awesome. Exactly what I wanted. It’s a larger version of one I already have.
An excellent device!
An excellent and easy to use device. Screen image is needle sharp and battery life is excellent. I find the vice is easier to hold and use in a protective case but this is a personal observation snd some may prfer to use it “au naturel”. Overal performance is goog for my simple usage and in no way do my demands of this excellent device tax its capabilities.

Poor WiFi spoils usage
I really like this piece of equipment and the stylus is great . I’m very disappointed by the range it allows for the WiFi which barely works outside the room with the hub – all my other kit works fine….
Good budget table
I upgraded from the S5e and regret it lol.
It’s a nice tablet but does lack the better screen with it being LCD.
It’s also slow and have to wait for eBay to catch up when I’m scrolling.
Mediocre for the small games I play but all round a nice tablet.
Great table
Perfect for a student and the free gift arrived 3 days after I made a claim. S pen is so easy to write with and the note taking app is great.
Grea
For the boss of the wife variety, loves it and iPad complaints have ceased.
Brilliant table
Bought as an A level note taking device for my daughter, but she uses it for so much more. It is really responsive and the screen is bright and clear. Very happy daughter.
Amazing alternative to iPad and Apple Pencil
The screen is good and the tablet is easy to use. The pen is very good and an amazing alternative to the apple pencil. The tablet overall is a worth while purchase that I’m very happy with.

Good value
Overall its a good product only issue is wish it would be more brighter and not washed out other than that its a solid product and does what the premium ones do tad abit slower. Also a note is this has a headphone jack whereas all the other newer models do not so you don’t need an adapter.

Great product!
Great tablet, easy to install all my contacts and apps from my phone by a link app! Lovely size screen and the camera is great. Enjoyable to use and a good replacement of my very old iPad.
S6 lite brillia
Absolutely love this tablet does what it says on the tin and more well worth the money
So good I wish I'd bought myself one!!
Bought this for my husband’s birthday present, he’s always had an ipad’s before but having swapped to a Samsung phone & his ipad getting a little old & slow he wanted to move over to a Samsung tab. Lots of research done on what to go for I decided to get S6 lite for his gift & he is so pleased with it. It was an easy switch from the ipad, easy to set up & use. The quality of the tablet is fantastic, the screen quality is brilliant & excellent battery life.
Finally the sound of my hubby stating that ‘this b****y thing is going out of the window’ has stopped & peace has descended in our household!
Can highly recommend.
Great tablet, really simple to use and screen quality and resolution is perfect for its size.
I just love this tab
I was waiting fir the best deal to buy this tablet
I defenitely got it for the best price on prime sale and now it just dont go off my hands
My main purpose to buy this was for digital art and i am just enjoying this tab
Best buy with best deal
A replacement tablet for Samsung 10.1
This is completely different from my previous 7 year old tablet with a good range of abilities that I have not used before and are still learning.
Very fast, and reasonable screen presentation, but nowhere the quality and vibrancy as my older Samsung Galaxy S10 10.5 tablet (2014).
Some, perhaps minor to some people, annoying features:
(1). Screen quite dull, and if wanting a more comfortable presentation one needs to increase the brightness to almost top, which will have a direct consequence on battery usage.
(2). Surprisingly, Google Messenger is not available for this platform — or is, but one can’t send messages. Message comes up “Turn on Call & Text on other devices in Settings to make & send messages from this tablet using your phone”. Gave up attempting all this phaffle! It was easier to work with Pushbullet.
(3). I tried the FINTIE Keyboard Case designed for this tablet, but it was such a palaver! One has to manoeuvre the magnetic keyboard when setting up or closing case. I tried to see if the tablet would recognise my existing Logitech case used for the Samsung Tab S10, seeing as width was the same, but the tablet didn’t recognise it via Bluetooth. The FINTIE keyboard itself is a pleasure to work with, but the gerphaffle involved in setting and or closing keyboard far outweighed the pleasure. Its find if having open on a desk for any great length of time, but inconvenient if moving about.
(4). The camera is in a peculiar position — top left of on/off button in landscape mode, and it doesn’t matter which way you face the tablet, the camera has you looking in a different direction. No good for video communications.
In the end, and weighed up against my existing Galaxy S10 and an ASUS C302CA tablet I was also trying, I decided the Tab S6 Lite is not the comfortable working experience for me.
For my Mom
My Mom asked me to purchase this as she is losing her eyesight and wanted a bigger screen to use whatsapp easier. It is a lovely device, but unfortunately, even with the accessibility enhanced, she could not get on with the screen – which was perfect to me, but too shiney for her to see through. Personally, I think it’s great – neat, fast, easy to use and really clear – it just wasn’t right for my Mom.
So happy with this - highly recommend it!
Love this tablet – have never had one before but its great for everything I need
I spent a month researching, bought something for 150 and it was trash, show, bad screen, battery sucked so it went back. I could not justify the Tab 6 full version for occasional use and also not a game player, just want a decent screen for Amazon Prime Video ! Then the Tab 6 Lite appeared on the market, still not cheap, but excellent value form money. My partner has Ipad Pro and this keeps up speed and screen quality wise, screen is superb, fast responses and gerat battery. I ran non stop max quality Amazon Prime Video over wifi as a test, this thing ran for just under 12 hours! I can save films on it and next time I fly to US it will do the whole trip and half the trip back on one charge, its nuts!. I put in a Samsung 128GB 4K memory chip so I can have my FLAC music collection with me as well. Have had this a few months now to test before reviewing, its a quality brand name. Oh, and you get the Stylus and can wave it in front of Ipad users ‘oh you have to use your finger, how quaint!’ I have a Samsung phone also and they link up so calls and things can all be routed and all that good complimentary features they added for Samsung phone owners.
Absolutely love it. It’s very fast and smooth, screen and sound are great quality, the pen is so nice, battery last a full day with heavy usage. The pen is fabulous, it’s the main reason I thought I’d give it a try. The nibble is soft rubber, feels extremely natural to use to take notes and do drawings. S pen has so many useful functions, best have a look in YouTube tutorials to make the most out if it.a extremely nice addition for the tablet is a keyboard and mouse. You can easily use it a a decent laptop, again you can use the android os in a very similar way as a Windows or iOS. You do have the option of multitasking, split screen or floating windows. Its obviously not comparable with it’s bigger brother Tab S6, but if you are a student especially it will tick all the boxes.
Design is beautiful, I got the Oxford grey version and looks and feels premium, it is extremely well build. I’m amazed with the price as well
I strongly recommend it, it’s the best 350 I spend
Amazing tablet for students!
Got it for college to take down notes and honestly it’s so worth it. The battery is good, the pen works really well with the screen and there is no lag. Its fast and the screen looks amazing while wathcing videos on youtube and netflix.
Pleased to see Samsung back in the mid-range tablet market. Nice Angora Blue tablet & magnetic S pen. Bought blue Poetic TurtleSkin as a good “bumper” case, which fitted perfectly, incorporating the pen nicely.
As someone else remarked, the charging cable (USB-C) is pathetically short, and certainly it is not a fast charger, battery seems to go down very quickly. The wifi constantly drops out.
Updated to Android 10 with no problems. Some Samsung bloatware, as usual, cannot be removed.
In use it seems quite adequate, I don’t often use it for games. Screen resolution is fine, though the touchscreen could be more responsive.
I disabled Bixby without using, as I have Alexa.
I think the disappointment came from the S6 Lite not being really much improvement on my 2016 Lenovo YT3-X50F
Bought this to replace the wifes aging Lenovo Tab 10. There are not that many branded products to compete with this tablet, at the price point, only the Huawei beats it but that has the unknown Android compatibility risks going forward. The wife is happy with it so that works for me.
The Samsung cover, which we got for free, is a bit useless as it does not offer any corner impact protection. It is just two hinged boards; which are ok for screen protection but little else. For home use we find that you must buy a cover with corner protection and they fall of the sofas too many times; maybe we are just clumsy.
Used option was like brand new. Nice tablet. Like the pen.
I got the WiFi version with the used option. I must say, it was like brand new except the seal for the box was opened. I mean if that’s the only thing and it takes the price down so much, its well worth since I’m buying the box. The tablet also came very fast ordered. Came within an week of ordering it.
The s-pen is really nice. I was using auto desk and was able to make some nice drawings. The pen is very responsive and doesn’t feel like there is any lag. I like how the pen attaches to the side of the tablet. Just a little disappointed the camera is in portrait and not landscape but I wouldn’t be using that function a lot so I’m not fussed either.
Good battery life
I switched from a Samsung Tab A expecting Lite to mean lighter but being that bit bigger it is still quite heavy. I don’t get on with the stylus so that’s pretty pointless to me, but good battery life as I’ve come to expect from Samsung.
Great tablet for the price.
Bought this for my mum to replace a 5 year old Lenovo tablet. My Mum loves it and it’s so much more powerful, lighter and smaller (although bigger screen due to smaller bezel). The only thinh she doesn’t like is the Bixby assistant.
It won't connect to a monitor using USB-C to HDMI adapte
It’s a nice product responsive and the pen is great. bet beware it’s not like the other samsung products Samsung Tab S6 which can be connected to a computer monitor using USB-C to HDMI adapter and allow you to have a desktop-like experience

It's amazing.
One thing to clear; this tablet is a must have for students like myself. Not only it works as a regular tablet but it’s also great for artists (make sure to download the art software that works for you).
Sure the specs are slightly worse the the regular S6 but just by using it, I didn’t notice any lag or delay plus it’s half of the price.
Conclusion: highly recommended (especially for artists with no lives like me)
Push Factors :-
Never given touch screen tablet, as in Apple iPad’s, a second look because their specs never met my requirement as a serious travelling computer. Could never type 50 w.p.m., could not upgrade, could not insert SD cards could not plug in external hard drive and tiny screen. Collegues who had Apple equipment travelled for example, US to Scotland to Norway & Denmark oil fields in the space of 24 – 48 hours (not unusual) but Apple thinks we must be hackers and locks up the equipment, be it phone or iPad etc. The user must be very knowledgable in Apple IT gear to unlock security measures.
Pull Factors :-
I travel with a 14 inch screen laptop as my main machine (HP 840 Elite book I think it’s called). No trouble upgraded it to 16 Gb RAM and 4 Tb hard drive storage. Also carry spare HP 820 also upgraded it myself. Have to because sometimes have had to work with Russians and Chinese personnel and we all know where the most prolific state sponsored hackers are based ! In my career as freelance consultant, have had downed Windows laptop 3 or 4 times in the field due to malware etc and only needed 1 upset client during my first year to ensure I carry a spare.
So back to this Samsung tablet. Yes it is slow, yes it doesn’t have as many ports but reckon it will be good enough as a spare tool when I want to trravel light but still carry a spare. Ordered a 512 Gb microSD card for storage. Not tried but there is a USB C port from which I gather from reading computer mags that it is possible to link up external screens, external hard drives (most important as I do not use Cloud for back ups. Always carry my own physical copies of back ups because cannot rely on satellite link to the Cloud when there is sand storm or storm at sea when the survey vessel antennae point all over the place. The problem with no physical keyboard is obviated by use of the same Bluetooth keyboard for the main laptop.
The clincher to the deal is the S Pen. Computer journals say it is not all that good but I only need it to circle items of interest and draw arrows to inspection photos in the audit / inspection reports I produce for clients. A further benefit is the 3.5mm headphone socket. Etiquette prevents us to use speakers (on the survey vessels) so as to avoid waking neighbours in adjacent cabins who are on night shifts etc. The socket is a fail safe should the Bleutooth headphones battery run down.
Finally, chose the LTE version. I was on a job in Trinidad & Tobago, travelling via US, and companies such as Plusnet SIM card would not give me a connection. (Another lesson learnt = no good being cheap on price in UK when there is no service outside of UK.) Since that work assignment, I have travelled with two phones on two separate networks. With this LTE version of Samsung tablet, there will be no need to carry a spare phone because with a SIM card installed, it can work as a phone as well.
Out of the box I have not road tested everything on this tablet but it scores at least a 4 our of 5 as a good mid range tablet computer. It may be slow but has plenty of other advantages.
Update.
Yes the USB C socket is for plugging in external storage as well as plug for charging. Only thing is, I shall have to back data to external flash or SSD’s which are exFAT formatted because this Android does not handle Windows NTFS formatted data.
A few other benefits which will potentially push this tablet to 5 stars is ability to install the free software as per the Samsung Android phones. For me, I regularly use noise meter, light meter, unit converter, currency exchanges, …. and ….. drum roll, emulator for HP 41C* (C CV or CX) emulators for Reverse Polish Notation calculator. Not been able to find RPN software for Windows lapotops. For quick calculations on the fly in the field or construction site, a HP calculator using RPN logic is the quickest way to go.
Now, if I can a dash mount for inside the car, then would be able to use it as a GPS satellite navigation mapping gadget also. Now, that would definitely push it to a 5 star score.
Very pleased so far, build is grea
Impressive so far.
I did not buy this to game on, I wanted something with a good stylus, good screen, plenty of storage and long battery life.
So far, with limited use it fits the bill. The resolution is great compared to tablets I owned in the past.
The s pen is great, note taking is awesome.
Speakers are very good, not the loudest but plenty of clear sound at full volume.
I’ve not noticed any lag switching apps or during use, but that might change as I load more productivity apps. The primary purpose of this is for me to do some admin work on the road when I don’t take my laptop.
I opted for the LTE version the have flexibility and on Amazon it was cheaper still than buying the WiFi only version in store in Ireland.
pessimo
Prodotto pessimo dopo neanche un mese non si accendeva pi ….. una delusione
Easy to use
Overall a very good tablet. Easy to use and battery life lasts a good amount of time with reasonable use. Great price if you don’t want to spend more on the S6 and are happy with a mid range tablet. Just depends on what you wish to use it for. Very happy with the purchase.
A review from my daughter (who the tablet was purchased for):
As a recent university graduate going to do a masters in september, I have found it a bit of a nuisance to lug around my heavy 5 year old laptop along with its charger to various lectures around campus for three years. The main motivator for me was that my laptop decided to make a load of fan noise despite multiple attempts in repairs which proved to be quite embarassing when it decided to whir away during lectures. It led me to resort to pen and paper but I found that awkward, expensive (buying wodges of notepads, or to find the local shop running out of stock every single time) and difficult to keep organised and hard to keep up to speed with lecturers talking so fast. Afterwards, I resorted to my phone but the screen is extremely small so using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint etc proved difficult to use when the on screen keyboard took up half the screen! (Some lecturers did not appreciate seeing me on my phone too, as they thought I was texting and not paying attention also)
About a month ago, I purchased this tablet and have found it to be extremely useful so far. The s-pen accompanied with a note taking app does wonders when wanting to add a handwritten annotation to a university lecture on powerpoint (not at uni currently due to the virus but I have tried and tested this on previous lectures!) and when a third party keyboard is connected via bluetooth, typing is such a breeze without taking up the valuable screen. In terms of what the tablet has to offer, it offers a large amount for the price it is when compared to other tablets and definitely provides an alternative to buying a new laptop, where I can still use my old one when I am not out and about. Having Microsoft word and powerpoint etc available through the cloud means that the files do not take up the tablet’s memory, leaving room for media and other apps!
When searching for the appropriate tablet, I did come across some reviews saying that the s pen was difficult staying attached magnetically to the side underneath the volume controls. HOWEVER, this is easily rectified as the pen attaches really firmly when it’s upside-down with the tip of the pen pointing to the volume controls and is difficult to knock off when it is attached the way you think it would.
Some really useful resources to make comparisons when considering tablets are available on youtube, which go over the whole specs of each one particularly of the s6 lite compared to the s6. Differences between the two are mainly down to the screen displays (but the differences are marginal when seen on youtube), the s-pen (which the s6 doesn’t have), number of speakers and the number of cameras/camera quality (for me personally, I wouldn’t really use the cameras on a tablet to take quality photos anyway, let alone to have two rear ones!)
As a student who doesn’t do an arty subject, I’ve found this tablet really really useful for the price that it is worth and the fact that it doesn’t break the bank as much compared to buying a new laptop. I’d suggest if you’re a student who’s arty that perhaps you’d need to research more regarding the tablet’s use of video/photo rendering and using drawing apps/photoshop compared to other devices.
Fast, light and has a pen, love it.
Love thus tablet, need one with a pen without paying 600 + and this really filled to stop. Fast and easy to use, can’t really fault it.
Design & Build: (5/5)
– Top-tier build quality. Metal body Laminated Display
No compromises here when you compare it to the more expensive Tab S6.
– Coming from my ancient iPad Air 1, the Laminated screen on my S6 lite is much better. No more weird gaps between the glass and the display when you press it down.
– Button placement not very ideal. Took me some time to get use to.
S-Pen: (5/5)
– IS INCLUDED in the box! What more can I ask for? Maybe give us more nibs since they get damaged pretty easily.
– Comfortable to hold, feels similiar to holding a pencil.
– S-pen magnetically sticks around the tablet for storage.
– Near excellent Palm rejection
– Very useful for note taking, annotating and casual drawings. Perfect for kids & students!
– Get the Tab S7 or iPad Pros if your looking to do more “serious” art as those offer better latency and precision.
Display and sound: (4/5)
– Awesome stereo speakers. Not the loudest but it’s full & rich sounding. Definitely blows away the standard iPads and even those mini Bluetooth speakers.
– 3.5mm jack is remained! Very pleased 🙂
– Don’t let the “TFT panel” put you off. Honestly for most people they won’t even notice much difference. It’s TFT display is one of the better ones out there and it should be more than good enough for most use cases. (Coming from a person who uses an Amoled screen phone)
– Display gets bright, good contrast, decent sharpness & colours. Viewing angles meanwhile are just about passable.
– Samsung could improve its blue light filter function as the current one is trash.
– Bezelless screen is perfect for YouTube/Netflix since there’s no chunky bezels or ugly notches to distract you.
– 5:3 ratio gives you less black bars while watching videos compared to iPads 4:3 ratio.
Performance (3.5/5)
– Excellent battery life. This thing can outlast my Galaxy S9 in a heartbeat. No more battery anxiety with this tablet T.T
– Cameras are actually usable this time round. Kinda bummed they removed the camera flash.
– Really liking the One Ui software on this tablet so far. Definitely improved alot compared to the old Android days.
– Performance on the S6 Lite is kind of a mixed bag. It’s very smooth and snappy until you throw in some heavy-load apps while multitasking. They could’ve added a better processor to combat this.
– Some games actually run pretty well especially for this tablets price range. For example, PUBG and COD will get you near 60FPS when you lower the graphics quality. On the other hand, games like Asphalt 9 will make the chipset struggle. Still playble though for most casual players!
– Face unlock feature is a hit or miss situation. Unfortunately no fingerprint sensor.
Overall opinion:
All in all, this tablet is great for students/families who needs an s pen while also planning to save some cash. If you use your student discount on Samsungs website, you can get it as low as 260 or usually around 300! And for that price, you can’t really complain! Causal gaming, note taking, browsing and some netflixing will be perfectly fine on this tablet. However, if you don’t need an s pen and your still on a budget , then go for the Tab s5e instead. You get extra things like a fingerprint reader and full Dex support, plus it’s better overall for media consumption.
If gaming, professional digital arts or any other heavy usage stuff is your main priority, I suggest you to save up and get the new Tab S7 or the iPad Pros instead.

Exxelent tablet and with S Pen is even bette
This Tablet is perfect for personal use, the pen is the best plus and will make you love it more. For me is a 5 start device.
I got this tablet from my work. I use it for browsing on the internet, email, writing reports, drawing, watching streaming services like NetFlix/Amazon Prime, reading books with the Kindle App and playing games.
The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. As soon as you open the packaging and take out the tablet it oozes quality. It’s lightweight and I think the perfect size for most people. It comes pre installed with Android 10 and let’s hope that there are upgrades to the latest version of Android. The screen looks fantastic. Setup after initial switch on is easy. You can also use Smart Switch to move all your apps etc across. This was a seamless process. A big thumbs up to Samsung for this. The tablet comes pre installed with the usual Samsung apps and Bixby! I much prefer Google Assistant to Bixby! You can turn off Bixby notifications … phew!
The Agora blue is a lovely colour in the flesh. I hope the pictures bring this across. The tablet screen is 10.4″ which is a great size for most. The resolution is 2560 x 1600 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is also a micro sd card slot which can take upto 1TB card! The tablet has a headphone jack, WiFi, Bluetooth and speakers. It’s great that you also get the S Pen with the tablet. I have found the pen very useful for quick sketches or drawings that you need to make when out and about for work. The pen also has a button that you can use to erase things. The S pen is lightweight and works just like a real pen. There are loads of apps if you want to draw or colour in etc. The kids will love this!
There is a front facing (5.0MP) and rear camera (8.0 MP) so great for taking photos/videos and selfies! Also great for Zoom calls or general video conferencing. Video recording is at FHD 1920×1080 @30fps.
I have found Samsungs One UI 2 much better to use. You can find the tablet a little slow at times but overall at this price point it’s better than most of the competition.
When listening to music through Spotify, Napster or other streaming service the sound is good and for a smallish tablet is plenty loud. Watching videos the screen is very good and will switch from portrait and landscape automatically.
It came with around 50% battery. Full charge time is around 3 hours. I have found the battery lasts easily 10 hours on a full charge.
I have been impressed with this tablet from my day to day use. Overall I would say this tablet is a great buy and would recommend it. I hope you found this review helpful and informative.

Excellent product - does just what it says "on the tin".
Nothing to dislike.
Works well and does exactly what I wanted without problems.
I put only 4 stars for battery life because it’s really too soon to tell.
If the batteries have a good life time in a year from now …. then they will get the extra star.
Tablet that does the job best all rounder tablet.
I have upgraded this tablet from the T805 which is the Tab S 10.5. I was concerned buying this as my last tablet had an oled display and this one does not. The S6 lite is a great tablet, really fast and love the stylus pen which sits on the top with a strong magnet and never needs to be charged like apple pencil. Also the screen is super sharp. It does everything I want it to do…
Great table
A really great tablet for the price worth investing in an after market keyboard from Amazon for around 40. Keep finding new functions and has really improved my productivity. Been trying to get away from the Apple handcuffs for years. Great product Samsung
I haven’t had a new tablet since the original Tab S came out and decided to take the plunge and buy a new one. The price for the Samsung S6 is considerably more expensive than my old one, which is why I went for the S6 lite instead (managed to buy for 299). There are differences and pros and cons I have to say. The choice of colours were a plus for me, so I chose the angora blue, which looks lovely. The screen is slightly narrower than my previous and the is no external home button, but that I will get used to.
I know I have read some reviews that say the system can’t handle as much, but for me it is fast and apps load faster than my old tablet- NowTv in particular.
There are some handy little apps preloaded, such as the Air Command, Pen Up, Translate and Screen Write etc. – this tablet could be handy for professionals. The camera is good, giving you quality pictures and there are various features, however there is only a flash on the front camera. I’ve watched a few things and the sound quality is adequate.
I think everyone would agree that the s pen is a great bonus, as it interacts with the tablet very nicely and I like the choice to either type or write by hand using the s pen. The pen attaches to the sides of the tablet magnetically, which holds very well. Not sure if it would get lost or knocked off on your travels, will have to see. I have read you need to replace the nib, but at the moment there does not seem the availability to do that, so we will have to see about that. The tablet itself seems sturdy and can probably take a knock or too, time will tell.
Ok, so now onto the cons.
A feature I’ve noticed absent with this tablet is no vibration option in the sound settings. I kind of liked this option as you could hear/feel calls etc when the sound may have been missed. While I love the colour and quite like the shape of the tablet, I think it is a tad on the heavy side compared to previous tablets, you would think the more they advance the lighter they’d be. It maybe something to do with the magnet part of the design.
My biggest annoyance about this tablet is the cable and plug that come in the box- the cable is stupidly short and at least half the size of my old one (which has the old connection, so no use there). The plugs plastic material feels very cheap. Now I don’t know about anyone else but I like working on the tablet while it is charging and the old lead was long enough to do that. Not this one. Just because it is a cheaper model, doesn’t mean you have to skim on the basics!
Although there are preloaded apps I like, there are some i don’t but you can’t uninstall them- slightly annoying for you memory. I shopped around for cases, although it seems like there is a limited range being offered at the moment, as I was tempted to buy the Samsung book cover case to match the angora blue, but at 59 I thought no way. I found a cheaper, pretty cover for 15 with the same magnetic feature!
So all in all, I would recommend this tablet from the point of view that in comparison to my old Samsung Tab S it is definitely worth the upgrade. The tablet is good for browsing the internet, taking photos, Streaming Netflix and Now TV, as well as reading ebooks.
Great produc
great product. Upgraded from a Samsung s2 and not disappointed.
Fast, S Pen is bonus, makes using it easy.
Loved it but screen quality was disappointing. The S Pen is great for those of us with long fingernails. Would recommend if you’re not bothered about screen quality. Opted for the S5e.
Does what it says on the ti
This does everything that I expected and is a worthy alternative to the I pad 10.2.
However don’t be fooled by the offer of free Headphones as this sale does not qualify.
Great for streaming
This is a great tablet for watching Netflix, Amazon prime etc in bed the picture quality is good it’s and lcd screen not a super amoled so the colours aren’t as vivid, however the S6 lite lte is just perfect for home entertainment and browsing, emails etc. The pencil included is fab I use it all the time instead of my fingers, saving a mucky screen. Occasionally there is a bit of lag but I’m quite sure it’s the cheaper exynos processor the reason why. All said a great tab for the price.
S6 Lite.
I already have a Tab A 2016 updated to Android 9 and where as the S6 Lite is faster the Tab A has better WiFi and Bluetooth possibly because of its plastic body. I’ve held the tablet in landscape playing music on Bluetooth headphones and when I scrolled through the songs it glitched. It doesn’t do this all the time maybe it was updating, disabled auto update I’ll do it when I’m ready. All in all it’s alright.
I bought this having researched a number of tablets.
I looked at the regular tab s6 which is a bit too expensive and ipads which I’ve owned before but prefer android so I decided to take the plunge and go for the tab s6 lite LTE version.
The device itself is sleek and feels premium and works seemlessly from what I’ve experienced. It doesn’t feel as though features have been pulled for the lite version.
The responsiveness is great, with only a minor delay on occasion, but not enough to seriously affect usage and apps work as well on this as any similar priced tablet.
The pen works well with compatible apps and the battery life is excellent, with moderate usage I manage a few days easily.
I think overall this is a great buy for me, if you want power usage you may have to pay the premium for an ipad Pro or tab s6 regular but for everyday use and then some this works absolutely brilliantly and feels premium.
Each to their own but for me it works well and am happy with my purchase.
Cool table
Really cool tablet, feels well built, looks good and works as it should. Little pen is useful, but there is no place to attach it unless you buy a cover.
Pretty good
The speakers are great, the stylus is great and responsive, the display is vibrant but unfortunately the display doesnt get dim enough for use in dark rooms. Overall great value for money.

The pen! Why haven’t tablets always had pens like this? It makes the experience of using a tablet so much more precise, pleasurable and elegant. I love how slim it is, too – you can easily select the smallest links or press the tiniest of buttons without obscuring your view. And being able to write using it – to use the pen as an actual pen – is immesureably better than thumbing a virtual keyboard. The handwriting recognition is surprisingly good, but not perfect. I have trouble making it recognise hashtags (they often get interpreted as an F) and similar symbols do get confused sometimes (lower case L, capital i and the number 1 – lI1. They all look the same in my handwriting so there is a degree of adjusting to how the tablet wants you to write.) But this is only ever an issue when converting handwriting to text – if you’re just taking notes and intend to save your document as-is, it is equal in convenience and pleasure to using an actual pen and paper.
I mostly use the tablet for web browsing and photo editing. As a web browser, there’s nothing to complain about. The screen is big enough to make desktop view viable, and the pen is precise enough to make navigating sites in this view a breeze.
It is also a capable photo editor! Again, the screen is big enough and bright enough to give you a great view. Lightroom works well but it’s here where I’m more aware of the ‘lite’-ness of the tablet. Loading up big RAW files can take a few seconds, and there is a small delay when adjusting some sliders. But the loading times and delays are never so long as to frustrate or interrupt my flow of work.
Lastly, the free (at time of writing) book cover. I wondered how such a thing could possibly be valued at 60, but mine has just arrived and I’m pleased to say it is of brilliant quality. I’m not sure what material it’s made of but it feels very sturdy indeed. The tablet snaps into it snugly with reassuringly strong magnets, can stand at a couple of different angles and the dedicated space for that precious pen is appreciated, too. If you’re reading this and the free offer is still going, go for it!
I suppose I should mention some negatives, actually. There is no dedicated means to attach a keyboard (and the book cover won’t accommodate one either) so you need to find a wired or blutooth solution if you need to be able to type properly. The battery life is fine but not amazing – I charge about every other day. And while the screen can be very bright, it is also very reflective. I find myself struggling to see past my own reflection when outside on a sunny day. But that’s about all I can say.
Overall, a great tablet! It’s the pen that makes it and you won’t find any equivalent at this price, so definitely go for it if you like the look of the pen and its functionality.
**March 2021: The tablet upgraded to Android 11 and now includes Samsung DeX**
I bought this primarily for web browsing, streaming films and television (Netflix, Now TV, iPlayer, etc.) and casting music stored on the memory card I’ve inserted into it to my Sonos speakers. It arrives with Android 10 which should upgrade over time to at least Android 12. It’s longer and thinner than the Galaxy Tab S3 it’s replacing and you get less top and bottom borders when watching widescreen productions. The bezels are thin but wide enough for you to comfortably hold the device without obscuring the screen and I like the floating function keys that rotate with the screen. Build quality is good and it’s thin and not noticeably heavy to hold.
There’s lots of preinstalled Samsung bloatware, including their ‘Bixby’ virtual assistant. Some of it can be uninstalled, some cannot. You’ll need to go into the settings and turn off notifications for any bloatware you don’t require but can’t uninstall and there is the option to send some of it into a ‘deep sleep’, ensuring that it doesn’t eat up battery life and processing power.
Obviously some corners have been cut to reflect the price and the ‘Lite’ name — two speakers instead of four, TFT screen (the colour is not as rich and deep as OLED) and 4GB of RAM, but the screen, sound and overall performance and speed are impressive for a tablet in this price range. You can have a lot of apps open and running concurrently and it copes with ease. The S Pen is responsive and attaches itself to the side of the device by magnet. Ideal for artwork and writing, it’s also useful for using instead of a finger in general use. Both cameras are more than adequate.
Battery life is especially good and lasts for hours and a full charge from empty takes approximately 3 hours. It arrives with a USB-C lead and a USB wall plug. I use an AmazonBasics 6′ USB-C to USB-C cable and USB-C wall plug to charge the device. A full charge using this configuration takes 2 hours and it shows as ‘Fast charging’ in the notification panel.
I’ve inserted a 400GB San Disk Micro SD card filled with thousands of FLAC files and it casts them without problem to my Sonos speakers or I can listen to them with Bluetooth headphones (or wired – it has a 3.5mm headphone jack).
Overall, I’m very happy with this tablet. There are better and more expensive Samsung devices available, but for basic home use this is fit for purpose.
Good value table
Awesome tablet comes with the pen very useful
Fast processor speed good WiFi connectio
Samsung promotions
When I bought this product, there was a promotion for a free book cover. When I made an application for this offer, I am informed I don’t qualify for the promotion because K Mart is not a recognised dealer. Very disappointed with both Amazon and Samsung.
Absolutely perfect for digital art as it comes with the stylus, handwriting recognition is great. Some lag in some games but thats what my phone is for so a non issue for me. Everything else works great with a fantastic battery life.
I replaced an older android tablet when it became unreliable. This was more expensive than I’d paid previously but I wanted something more mainstream. I did look at the S6 but decided it was just too expensive and more than I needed. I do all my emails, the occasional letter and just general messing around on the tablet. I have a Windows laptop when the tablet won’t cut it but it doesn’t get that much use. With 64Gb of storage I can download photos when away from home and when I get home I’ll transfer them to the laptop and delete them from the tablet so I don’t need more memory. I’ve read reviews that say the screen isn’t as good as the S6 and that’s probably correct but I don’t have any complaints about the screen. The only thing I wish the tablet had is a fingerprint scanner but I use face unlock which works well.
I’m very happy with this tablet so far, I didn’t realise how slow my previous model was until I started using this one.
A very good screen, audio from the built in speakers is a bit tinny but fine with headphones in place.
Overall I’m very happy with the tablet.
All I can say is it is awesome, has kids zone so my 4 year old has access to her things without any worry, I can add apps to her kid zone from the main screen. Screen is super just love it. Easy to print from. Just so simple to use and set up.
The S pen is so easy to use.
I was super impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. I got it on the day after release to replace my 4 year old Tab A as I wanted more memory/storage and my old tablet had stopped receiving software updates. This model has an S Pen which is slim like a real pen and works really well. I spent a few hours playing with fun features like Live Messages and AR doodle and I love the fact that it can read handwriting and turn it into text on apps such as Facebook or Notes. Just a warning to anyone with a new S6 tablet. When you turn it off at night and place it back in the gorgeous new box it came in, make sure you are not squashing the power buttons against the very snug sides of the box. For the first 2 days I had the tablet I wondered why my battery was draining down to 0% when it was switched off overnight. The reason was that the power and volume buttons were being constantly held in for hours because the box sides were so snug. This was because I had removed the inner tray and used the outer box for storage. It even has cutouts for these buttons but I hadn’t noticed them. I was on the verge of returning the product when I realised my mistake. I have been able to claim a free Samsung cover worth nearly 60 as I have bought it early in its release so I look forward to receiving this to protect the screen. I highly recommend this tablet to anyone.
