Cost: Analog cameras tend to cost less, sometimes even a lot less, than their digital counterparts.
Simplicity: DVR is easier to set up and understand for most.
Lower Bandwidth Requirements: Analog recorded video files tend to be smaller, and they are transmitted to the DVR over coax instead of LAN, so transmitting them doesn’t take as much bandwidth. Plus, DVRs also usually only transmit the information and use bandwidth when someone is viewing the video, rather than on a more constant basis.
- Not to worry about the compatibility issues any more as long as there is a standard BNC cabling connection in your old system.
- The DVR is also compatible with all Sansco cameras, and most IP security cameras, simply hard wire your IP cameras to your router and start accessing on your DVR.

No HDMI cable. Had to order separately, for a couple of pounds more could have been included. Very annoying.

The system was easy to set up, good quality images day and night. You download an app to view the images and playback video which is very user friendly. Excellent customer service received from the company when one of the cables was faulty. Sent out a replacement very quickly.
his was easy to set up except had to buy an ethernet cable to connect to internet (no wifi) but once up and running its easy to operate and view on phone, night vision and when its raining isnt great at all but day time its great picture

Firstly I liked the packaging, all the cameras and the DVR were individually boxed and received undamaged. The installation was easy, the cabling was well well made and the picture quality as good as any more expensive CCTV products. We’ll pleased with the product and would certainly recommend it.

Easy to set up. However, does not come with any how to guide. Lots of features that we don’t know that the cctv is capable of. Would be helpful if there was a small guide with an option to download a guide. Other than that it is fine. Does not pick up reg plates (Should them be any car incidents it’s blurry)
liked the quality but reading description thought i was getting proper wifi and audio ,good product but should be better explained as to what the exact specifications and capabilities are for that particular package .the system is up and running now so too late to return , such a shame as working brilliant but limited as i use a mifi with no way of connecting router cable and no audio as previously stated.

Really like this product. Quick delivery and well packaged. The camera are easy to install and set up. The picture is excellent and i love that i can connect to my phone. My only issue is the motion detection alarm literally goes off every 2 minutes on my phone even after changing sensitivity, as it literally detects everything. However, i turned the notification off as it still records when triggered anyway and you can check on playback. Really happy great quailty and value for money.

Very pleased with this camera system and the customer service from Sansco themselves. The night vision is amazing, we’ve tested it indoors in the pitch black. I had difficulty in setting up in that I couldn’t get it to display on our tv, however after trying on another it was perfect. I’m yet to work out the compatibility issue. After finding one of the cameras not functioning Sansco have offered to ship a replacement immediately, very helpful and you can chat to them directly through facebook messenger.
Haven’t properly used yet as it didn’t come with hdmi cable like it was meant to so have to go get one, but looks very good, hard to set up tho
Have a few issues with them however overall the product is good.
Sometimes they stay in night vision all day. Currently I have 3 cameras set up and the are in night vision (it’s 3PM) can’t find a manual switch off or a timer for it which is slightly annoying.
Haven’t set up motion so can’t comment. And picture is fine. Just as good as any CCTV imo

Great product & customer service at a great price, delivered fast. Excellent. I bought this Sansco CCTV system with a 1TB hard drive that came pre-installed & 4 bullet cameras. It was very easy to set up & use, plug & play we shall say. Picture quality on cameras a great day & night vision mode. I recommend buying this Sansco CCTV system or Sansco dome cameras, as the dome cameras ate also very good.
I had an earlier version of the same unit. Ordered this one so I didn’t need to change all the connections over. Plugged in a using immediately. Looked at the night vision the next day and was much improved from the earlier version (about 4 years ago). Very clear picture.

After 48 hours system went black and white. Sansco customer service very helpful. Sent new cameras and system working fine now. The interface for your phone is great and easy to set up. Picture quality is really good and night vision excellent.

Had a problem with 1 camera and the customer service team was excellent and replaced the camera straight away. I am very happy with the equipment and the service l received.
Brought this product less than a year ago not all of the features worked from the start 6months ago it stopped putting a picture on the TV. It was just fuzzy colours. And today it has stopped working on my phone. I work away from home for weeks So this is verry inconvenient.

This is a great system with a few minor problems. Motion sensor is too sensitive as will go off if it’s raining. The night vision is good but at times people can look like ghosts if wearing reflective clothing. Great picture quality and fairly easy to install. The flashing lights on the box when the motion sensor goes off is quite annoying as the box is positioned in my bedroom.

I don’t usually write reviews but I’m so happy with these cameras I feel like I have too. What a great CCTV system for a even better price. Was very sceptical at first as when you see something cheap it usually is to good to be true but in this case it wasn’t.
The system it’s self is very straight forward and easy to set up. Just plug and play. Took no more than 2 hours to wire up 4 cameras.
The picture quality is great, a lot better than most expensive cameras you see on the market today. The night vision works unbelievably well. Where my house is there is no ambient light And even in complete darkness you can still get a great picture.
There are so many different features on the DVR, you will need to spend some time having a look through them to get the best out of the cameras. The motion detection works great also. I have them set up to only record when they detect motion and it works perfectly.
I wrote to customer service through Facebook messenger needing help setting up my mobile application to view the cameras. They replied within the hour and helped me set it up. Very fast and a very helpful team.
All in all I’m very happy I chose these cameras and would highly recommend. 5*
I purchased this cctv system for my home as i work nights and it would give my partner peice of mind. I am extremely please with the sustem the quality is fine and it was easy to fit. The only issue i found was one of the leads did not work but i contacted the seller who replaced it no problem.

This is a really good value cctv system. It is very easy to install, very easy to set up, and the picture quality using a PC monitor is excellent.
Great system very easy to install & setup.
Only struggle I had was getting the cables through the wall, due to not having a big enough drill bit. I would advise junction boxes to protect the terminal plugs unless you’re taking each camera cable through the wall at mounting point.
Where you do chase the cables through the wall make a U turn in the cables. This stops water running down cables into your wall.
One camera developed a fault yesterday I informed Sansco so. They replied within good time, went through the symptoms with me been very helpfull and have offered to replace the faulty camera.

Good value system. Easy to set up. Worth checking all wires work and cameras before you set up. Slight issue with the wires which was resolved with new ones.
It was a challenge feeding through the facia but I did it on my own. Once that was done the process for set up was simple.
Has to get a LAN cable extension to get it to my WiFi which again was a bit of a faff. However once connected really good picture and easy to install.
Overall the system works. Cameras look good and the picture quality is good. Easy to play back and easy to view on mobile.

This is the second Sansco system that I have purchased. This time I have installed it for someone else in their home. The picture quality is really good both daytime and night-time. They are easy to install and set up. On this occasion, I needed to contact Sansco Customer Support about a minor issue. They responded within 2 hours of me contacting them and resolved my issue quickly.
I’m part way through installing this system. It’s pretty much click and play, really simple to get the basics working. Obviously installing the cables running through the loft and floor spaces is a bit more tricky. The cameras look and feel good quality, the two I have installed provide a great picture quality and the night vision is also very good (note that night vision might not work correctly if you bind together two cables – such as an extension – instead, if you need a longer cable, just buy one long enough so you don’t need to connect two together).
The motion detection works, I’m still playing with the sensitivity and settings, so I’ve not finalised it yet. I’m finding some of this a bit complicated and the instructions aren’t the clearest, however the support team are really helpful, sending through you tube links and other how to guides when I get stuck.
The mobile app is superb quality in terms of picture quality, you can also remotely review recorded footage via the app. I’ve not managed to get the email and mobile motion detection alarms working yet, but it has the functionality.

plug and play,takes time to run the leads from outside to inside and install the cameras but we ran our leads from outside the house into the loft down threw into our bedroom into the box and tv but once that is done just connect all the leads and job done,gr8 pictures! Would recommend and at a gr8 price.

I liked the ease to which the system gets set up. The app on mobile is easy to install and is effective. Night camera is good too.
As has been said in many reviews, the set-up is really straightforward including getting access through phone app. The cables are long so unlikely that you’ll need to buy the extensions. Just be aware that the cameras don’t offer zoom or movement so the picture is governed by the height and direction that you select for each. Only marked motion detection as average as haven’t tried that setting yet.
I’ve ordered 2 of these and hoping this is an outstanding review as over the moon with how brilliant they are. Easy to use, straight forward set up and works great with the app on your phone! Great to rewind and spot anything unusual happening and also to see everything live as it’s happening. For the price, it is well competitive with the more expensive ones, so save and get the same level as of those. Will be returning in future, excellent customer service too! Can’t go far wrong and able to DIY!!

The system arrived the next day as promised and I was firstly impressed with the quality of the cameras and the DVR, I found the cameras so easy to install route the cables connect to the cameras and hey presto crisp clear pictures the cables were long enough to allow me to cover all aspects of my property
The only issue I had was getting the system to email my email address when an alarm is received. I messaged the Tech team on their Facebook page and I was so impressed with their customer service. It turned out it was an easy fix and an over sight on my part
The night vision is outstanding the photo with the vehicle in is pitch black usually but the infa red on the camera lights the picture up giving a clear picture
All in all I would recommend this system to anyone who wants a plug and play cctv system it’s easy to install and great customer service at this price it’s well worth the money

I’ve now had contact from them apologising for the delay and they are sending replacements out to me. Suggestion is to use their direct email [email protected] and not Amazon and the support is excellent.
As for the product itself I thought the picture quality is vey good at HD and it has already been instrumental in resolving who broke into a neighbours van so all in all very happy.
Only connects through a CAT5/6 connection and isn’t wireless compatible which is a shame but ran a CAT5 and all good.
App is easy to install and get up and running and the 1tb disk means continuous recording is a breeze. Only issue I had was a cable came apart at he join but an email to the company and a new one was sent straight away

The setting up to view in real time on my iPhone or iPad was simple and pictures are remarkably clear for a basic system on day vision, and OK on night vision; with 4 cameras and a 4 channel control box.
Worth every penny, if only for deterrent value, and half the price if the Swann system installed by my neighbour next door.
I fixed the cameras onto brackets as they looked better than being fixed to the wall. I made the plastic cover from a bit of drain pipe. Wished I’d got an 8 camera set up now. After a month, one camera went a bit foggy on night vision, but still works OK.
Brilliant product – works straight out of the box and has a great mobile app for Apple and Android phones. Excellent after sales care even when having to reset passwords which you may forget !!! DOHH! They were more than helpful and I cannot recommend them enough
The kit came on the day they said and setting up the cameras and the dvr was really easy. The quality of the camera picture was good. Got feedback off the company I bought the cameras from the day they arrived. All in all a fantastic product and I would recommend it if you want a fairly cheap but reliable home security system.

Fantastic quality excellent picture quality and plenty of cable supplied with each camera. Recording quality very good with extensive menu and features. Even night vision is clear and precise. Well packed and arrived in excellent condition.

This is a very good cctv system at a great price with an excellent after sales service.
Note – you will need to purc purchase a hard drive to use the record feature but they’re not very expensive. I actually used an old hard drive from a ps3!
I think the picture quality is good, especially when you take into consideration the cheap price, the picture is clear enough to see someones face even at quite a distance from the camera.
It has some cool features like motion detection which can be set up on specific cameras or all of them. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend it.
