Your synapses process 1,000,000,000 stimules per second. Give them something to experience.
The ear is a sensitive mechanism that reacts to the finest vibrations. Even inaudible vibrations the body registers via sensory cells in the stomach and skin. All impressions turn the brain into a single experience. Excellent sound can be felt with its senses: This is the Schlagwerk sound experience.
Grow beyond you: When you play a Schlagwerk instrument, your environment becomes a resonant body. It maximises your performance and makes your sound experience even more intense.
Production already includes the holistic experience: Selection, storage and preparation of our woods are subject to the most stringent criteria. In construction, we think every instrument new and in daily crafts we feel every edge and fibre with passion. Our experience is part of the Schlagwerk sound experience.
Wonderful sound. Amazing bass. Great highs. Beautiful just sitting there.
For a non stop finger tapper, this is the ultimate new seat in the living room. I get to sit and jam out while I watch my little one dance and play along. As an instrument, very well made and a joy to play. I have broken my hand pretty badly before and I can play for extended periods without any pain. Perhaps the soft touch was worth the few extra dollars.
Good Snare sound but the low end is weak. I read the more its played the better the sound. So I will keep playing it. I will see what happens.
I got the Dark Oak and it looks and sounds awesome , nice deep sound ( with proper technique ) and clean snare drum .
We’ve been very happy with this Cajon. Very nice looking and it sounds great. You can definitely buy one for less money, but this thing is well made! I’d buy it again.
The sound of the box is crisp, and after a month of playing I still learn new sounds I can make on it. Seriously great buy.
Sounds true to the Schlagwerk sample video. Bass is deep, snare tones are crisp, & very good separation of snare from bass notes. Very nicely (German) made.
I somehow found mine for $140 & it was a great buy!! Upgraded from a birch sawtooth, noticeably sounds better. Schlagwerk really makes quality products!:)
I’m a guitarist and this is the first Cajon I’ve ever played or seen in person. That said, I’ve played for many years and do have a decent ear for tone. From the perspective of my rock/blues/pop-based sensibilities, this has a great sound. My kids have fun with it, and it does a surprisingly good job of taking on the role of a full drum kit during acoustic jams. I couldn’t be more happy with it.
