    I found this to be an impressive camera. Excellent clear picture, decent price and was so easy to set up. Motion is detected easily from far away I have mine set too max it doesn’t miss anything. The sound quality is just as clear as the image. The pan and tilt movements are smooth. There’s a micro SD card slot hidden on the dome of the camera. It’s a decent indoor camera with good features.
    Overall, This is a fantastic camera very easy to set up and great quality.
    I would definitely recommend this camera.
    I hope this has been helpful

    The features of this camera are great for their price. The night vision is very good and clear. Also, the tilting and rotating functions are ideal to capture big rooms. The mobile application is very intuitive and easy to use.

    There is a lot to like about this camera, from the picture quality to the software, it is an all-around great package. It comes delivered in a nicely designed retail box and along with the camera you get a generous 2m USB Type-A to Micro USB power cable, a compact UK mains plug, a wall mounting plate with fixings, two CCTV warning stickers, and a quick start guide.

    The first thing I liked about the camera is the quality and look; it seems very well made using good quality metals and plastic, and its visually appealing. It’s got four rubber feet to help grip to surfaces and you can even install it on a wall or ceiling using the quick release mounting plate. The motor which rotates the camera is almost silent, the only real noise the camera makes is when it switches the night vision on/off where you get a small click sound.

    Setting it up was really straight forward, I just had to download the Arenti app and register my details. The app shows how to get the camera connected and the whole operation went really smoothly. It’s finally nice to have a camera that supports 5GHz networks too, after nearly a whole month of being connected it hasn’t dropped signal or disconnected so its works well.

    The picture quality using the HD or UHD modes is nothing short of brilliant; the image is super clear, sharp, and you can read the text on objects that are several metres away. It’s placed in my 11ft x 9ft office and when placed in the middle of the 11ft stretch it covers it wall to wall without having to rotate the camera. When viewing the live feed there is very little delay, nearly none at all in SD mode and the app lets you zoom in to specific areas as well if you want a bit more detail.

    The night vision capability is also very impressive; there are four small lights which turn on that let you see the whole room clearly of a night time, it basically looks the same as day time, just in black and white. If you try to view a very dimly lit room without the NV turned on then the image is grainy, but as soon as you turn NV on (automatic or manual) the video is back to being completely clear and you can easily make out faces and small details.

    A fair amount of effort has been put into the app, it’s better than most and works very well. There is a large amount of customisation options for the camera as well as the app; you can share the device with someone, turn the lens off (manually or via a schedule), turn the night vision on/off or set to automatic, set up motion and noise detection, customise the recording settings, configure Alexa or Home, and more. The pan and tilt options are easy to use as well as recording, taking pictures, and swapping between the different video quality levels. You can view the recordings on the SD card (not included) through your phone as well as Cloud recordings if you make use of the feature.

    Honestly, this is one of my favourite compact indoor security cameras that I have used so far and over the last several weeks it hasn’t skipped a beat and just works perfectly all of the time, which is what you want from a camera like this DOME1 from Arenti. Good quality and feature rich I feel it represents great value for money and it’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend. An easy five stars from me, buy with confidence, I really think you will be impressed with it!

    My first impression on receiving the item was that the box itself made the camera look quality even before opening it, you know what they say about first impressions! On opening, it was well packed containing all items needed to set up, Camera, USB, 3 Pin Plug, Manual, Mounting Plate, and 2 window stickers showing that you now have a security camera in operation (nice touch). The camera itself is a thing of beauty, small, VERY stylish, and discreet. I have a cheaper existing camera in use at home and it’s like comparing a Ferrari to a Fiat (no offence to Fiat owners). My primary use for these cameras, besides the obvious security, is to keep an eye on my pets when I’m out, and for this reason alone, it’s perfect. As with all of these cameras you get the option of paying for Cloud storage, but in my case, I always use an SD card as a backup as it’s less expensive and suits my needs better. The picture quality is great, App setup is simple and the camera is very responsive to instruction, having a great viewing range with Pan and Tilt movement. The camera automatically switches between day and night vision so you’ll never miss a thing. It has some excellent features, like connection to Amazon Alexa and Google Assitant, adjustable Movement and Sound detection, and dual-band connectivity. Overall, this camera is beautiful, well priced, well made and more importantly, keeps you connected to you home when you are out and about. BRILLIANT!!

    Great features, quality and style.

    This is a good pet or baby monitor. It’s for indoor use and it’s very easy to set up. It has a micro SD slot if you don’t want to pay for cloud storage.

    Overall it works well with good quality picture and clear view both day and night. It has alerts in case of movement and a 2way communication system.

    It’s affordable and versatile and we recommend it.

    This is a modern designed Wifi security camera with a nice dark grey metal frame and shiny black body that looks luxurious.

    The indoor camera has a 2K/3MP Ultra HD resolution which is combined with night vision technology. It produces a noticeably clear display during the day and night to keep an eye on your home all the time. Since it has an AI-powered human motion and sound detection it will automatically send a notification once it detects human movement or abnormal sound.

    Furthermore, it has free 3-month of cloud storage and records a 60 to 180 seconds video clip then it will be saved to the cloud for 72 hours if the cloud storage is enabled. It is also compatible with a Micro SD card up to 256Gb so if you don’t want to purchase cloud storage, you can use a Micro SD card instead.

    I like how this camera has the option of being able record short video clips up to 180 seconds which appears to be longer than most others I have come across. The only problem that I noticed is that it is not a wireless camera but from what I think, it looks really good, is reasonably priced and provides amazing quality footage.

    With all of this, I would definitely recommend this camera.

    A neat little camera that is really easy to set up. The device can be controlled through an app that you must install on your mobile device.

    I’m not a fan of these types of apps but this one isn’t too bad. The image quality is clear which negates the need to squint to look for the finer details.

    Storage wise, the device is supported by cloud storage, which you have to pay for, or a micro-SD card you can insert.

    I’ve been using this camera for a while now and I am quite satisfied with the price to performance ratio.

    If you are looking for some kind of spy camera this is not it but it is a good supplement for home security.

    Being way to install with these things is a just and I this one comes with a decent app to facilitate the install process for a access point of view. Very little work is actually required to physically place it.

    The image is phenomenal for this price point.

    The biggest let down is the colour in my opinion. The black stands out like a sore thumb and is quite obvious to visitors there is now a camera on them.

    This security camera comes in a printed cardboard box and inside you’ll find the camera, quick user guide, security stickers, wall fixings, USB power plug, and a USB cable.

    The camera itself is made from an aluminium alloy and has a metal grey finish. It runs on 5v USB and supports pan and tilt so you can move the camera around with the app, without having to touch the camera physically.

    Installation is simple as you only need to plug it into a USB power source and the camera will automatically turn on and do a quick calibration where it turns all the way around and back again. To setup the camera, you need to install the Aventi app from the Playstore/App Store, and then add a new device from within the app. You’ll see a variety of cameras to choose from but click on the picture of the camera which is the same as this one. It’ll then ask for your Wi-Fi password and after inputting it, the camera will automatically connect to your router, and you can control it via the app.

    This camera automatically connected to my 5ghz channel, so I didn’t have to faff about disabling channels like cheaper cameras, this connected straight away. The app offers a few features like Live view, take a screenshot and you can directly control the pan and tilt with a simple D-Pad style control via the app. An interesting option is the human motion tracking option. This allows the camera to move on its own and follow a human shape. I tried walking from one side of the room to the other and the camera did follow me which I was quite impressed with. I tried it a few times and it followed me each time, so it seems to work well apart from the one time it though my legs were more important, but I was trying different things while walking so maybe I confused it.

    The night vision mode worked well and gave me a crisp and clear picture in the dark. I could choose what resolution to see the live view with which was Standard Definition, Full-HD, or Ultra HD. The higher the resolution you chose, the sharper the image got, and I’m quite impressed with the picture quality. The camera can alert you, with a message on your phone, if it detects movement which you can turn on or off. It’ll even alert you if it hears something too which again, you can turn on or off. You can manage your recordings on either full day recording or record on events. You can set the recording time to 1,2, or 3 minutes.

    They do offer a cloud storage service and you get the chance to try it for free for 3 months. The cost of it is broken down into 2 plans. If you only want to record events for up to 3 minutes, then it will cost:
    * (Monthly) 2 Euro 52
    * (Quarterly) 7 Euro 10
    * (Yearly) 26 Euro 68
    If you want it to record all day, and the footage to be stored on the cloud, then the cost is:
    * (Monthly) 3 Euro 38
    * (Quarterly) 9 Euro 64
    * (Yearly) 32 Euro 90
    All the above prices are the full price you’ll pay but they currently have limited time, 50% off so every price above is halved. You can also install a memory card into the camera, and you can record footage yourself which will save you the subscription fee as you won’t need cloud storage.

    In conclusion, home cameras have improved a lot in recent years and have become cheaper. This 2k resolution camera is amazing at the price point of 39.99 (Reduced from 45.99) and the amount of features like pan and tilt, human body tracking is just amazing for the cost of this camera

    2k Resolution
    Pan and Tilt movement
    SD card storage option for recording footage
    Human body tracking
    Two-way audio
    Alexa and Google Assistant support (Versions with LCD screens to show live feed)
    Includes bracket for wall mounting

    A lot of camera features for the money, excellent picture quality too...

    Superb design for a device that feels premium at a modest price. The styling makes a cool feature from what could be an unfortunate addition to a home or office. Understated but definitely not discrete. The camera feels like a floating robot eyeball, with superb range of movement. Means you can install it just about anywhere. I’m cautious of the Cloud so delighted with the micro USB storage. Bracket and fittings included you need them. Good instructions and superb packaging too.

    Stunning industrial desig

    I already have a house alarm, but I needed something extra to deter anyone who came into my garden or looked through the window. The picture quality is good for my needs. Some have remarked that the resolution is only HD, but it is better than that it’s very clear much better than the rubbish cameara on my laptop. Moreover Any self-respecting crook will wear a hoody or some other item that will prevent identication, rendering any photograph or video evidence obtained by the camera meaningless.

    Well-made product that arrived in good condition. The build quality impressed me. It’s stylish and modern. Much better than the low-cost plastic cameras I’ve previously brought. The setup instructions are simple to follow. The last portion of the instructions is spoken over your phone after you connect it to Phone.

    The only thing you’ll need before you begin is your WIFI password (yeah, the one you forgot and even worse, the one you have no idea about where it is stored…very safe ay?…well, I’m afraid I can’t assist with that…this is about the camera…but good luck with the password quest… it took me a day!)

    Anyway, let’s return to the camera. You can install it standing in place or on a wall using the supplied bracket and fixings.

    All in all, I’m quite satisfied, and its good to know that I can add some more to cover other areas of the house. Tomorrow I am on a visit so will check out how the software functions using my phone data.(p.s. I would not use coffee shop WIFI, unless you want all the staff laughing at your wall paper!)

    Excelle

    I’m impressed with this good value little camera.
    Setup is quick and easy. Download the Aventi app to your smart device. If you don’t want to use the cloud, insert a micro SD card in the slot under the lens. Connect the supplied micro USB cord to the camera and the UK 3-pin power supply that is included. Follow the instructions to connect to Wi-Fi and use the app to set up the camera to your requirements.
    Picture quality is excellent and the stored video can be played back from a timeline.
    By enabling the Alexa Aventi skill you can also connect the camera to an Echo device; I’ve connected to an Echo Show 8 and the quality is excellent.
    My problem, however, is that the camera only works from a mains supply and it’s difficult to find a suitable location close enough to a power socket. Even if you can, there is the problem of concealing the black power cable.

    Set up is easy, you will need the Arenti App from the Play/Apple store, then set up an account. Then you let the app find the camera (after power button pressed). This will connect phone to camera. You then tell the camera what WiFi network to connect to and pass it the password for your WiFi network. That is pretty much it. The app will let you change settings such as motion detection, resolution, night vision and to pan around. Whilst the camera pans smoothly, the image is a bit jumpy when it moves, but it settles. The image quality is top notch, even on lower settings. I had mine pointing out into the garden and it was clear and bright even with the glass reflecting light back into the lens.
    The sound quality is just as clear as the image and with an added bonus of it being able to play built in soothing music tracks — for when you use it as a baby monitor — a very nice touch.
    This cost 15 more than my wired Blink camera and it is a tad bulkier, but for that 15 I get much better sound quality, clearer video, pan and tilt and a sexier looking unit. Good bye Blink, Hello Arenti

    This is a truly premium security camera. I’ve experienced a few over the years, with a mixed level of quality. I’m happy to say that this is one of the better ones.

    Build quality is superb on this. It’s made well and uses quality components. There’s even a wall mount included, which is simple to slide the camera into once screwed to a wall or ceiling.

    There’s a micro SD card slot hidden on the dome of the camera. It took me a while to find it and, admittedly, I had to read the book. In addition, you can use the online cloud storage service, which comes with a free 3 month trial.

    Image quality is fantastic. This can record in a nice, consistent video format or you can also take photos (effectively screenshots).

    Overall, I have no complaints and can definitely recommend this. The PTZ function works well to control the camera, which I was really surprised it had when I received this, considering it’s currently on offer at 37 after applying the 20% off voucher. In addition, there are various alarm and notification settings.

    Highly recommended.

    For a general indoor pan and tilt WiFi camera this Laxihub model is good value. It’s fully rotatable (via the Arenti app) and is very compact measuring just 11cm high with a base diameter of 7cm.

    The camera comes with a micro SD slot for recording and is powered by a micro USB to USB lead with mains plug supplied. Also included is a mounting plate (with screws) which fits onto a surface and the camera then twist fits onto this plate. The base of the camera has four small non slip feet to give stable surface mounting if required.

    The camera is smart looking and unobtrusive, fully rotatable via the app, panning (rotating on its base) and tilting up and down.

    The Arenti app I found it quick and easy to download, connect to WiFi then install the camera. The controls on the app, in addition to pan/tilt, are zoom, motion and noise detection alerts (can be turned off if desired), IR night vision ON/OFF, screen flip (for ceiling mounting).

    Photo and video capture can be stored internally, or by cloud, and the camera is compatible with Amazon Echo devices. Picture quality is HD, with a decent wide angle lens view to suit small and medium sized rooms.

    It’s a good camera, with all the essential features and an attractive appearance for unobtrusive indoor use.

    I really like this indoor camera. It feels premium with a nicely weighted solid base. The picture quality is fantastic in all the settings which are adjustable.

    You can set the camera to detect motion which it does really well. Additionally night time viewing is very clear.

    Do you have the option to speak through the camera and or hear what the camera is hearing. Turning the camera left and right up and down is very smooth and isn’t very noisy.

    In summary I would highly recommend this camera at 46 currently it seems good value. The app is also really easy to navigate and connected to the camera very quickly.

    I highly recommend this camera, let me know if this review was helpful for you.

    I love it!

    The camera works well, is really well-made, great quality, with a mounting bracket if required, and a generally robust construction.

    The camera uses the Arenti app. I have no issues with the app, it’s quite simple and intuitive to configure, the camera being up and running in just a few minutes.

    The Wi-Fi range is fine, no problems anywhere around the house. The camera is very well-featured, with (IR) night-vision, motion detection activation, audio etc. The camera is USB powered, and the product includes a long Micro USB cable and USB plug as well.

    Pan / tilt / zoom etc works perfectly, from the app, AND from my Echo show devices. Works perfectly with Alexa, which was equally simple to set up. The camera has a micro-SD card for storage of up to 256 Gb, You can also save images and video clips direct to your phone, which is excellent.

    Overall, a superb high res. with IR for low-light, motion detection, audio (2 way) etc as well. I do recommend this camera, it really is excellent.

    Well made camera

    Build quality
    Image quality
    Adjustability
    Ease of use
    User friendly App

    This camera is a handy device that can be used with cloud based recording and comes with a 90 days free storage. It can also be used with FAT32 Micro-SD cards up to 256gb which is my preferred option as it’s free and just as effective for our needs. Connection to our WiFi network is straightforward and relatively hassle free. The app is user friendly and relatively intuitive as even I can use it without issue.

    The clarity is good and the motion detection is reasonable although not always quick off the mark If at all, which makes it less effective if using for security. It’s primary function is simple monitoring and the camera can be used with Alexa though we haven’t tried the feature as yet. The range of adjustability is good which helps to focus the camera at the correct angle to view the subject matter clearly. The sound quality isn’t the best, but it’s not terrible and isn’t much of an issue for our requirements.

    Overall, it’s a steady unit that monitors and records well with a clear image. It’s not the best, but it’s certainly not the worst, it’s actually reasonably priced for what is a relatively effective device.
    It’s not bad at all.

    This has a lot of features I love like like the ability to pan and tilt this camera remotely via the Arenti app so even at work I can log in and look around, it has two-way audio so I can both hear what is going on and even speak remotely from my phone wherever I am in the world, the resolution is 2k which is a bigger step up from 1080 than you think and details are visible, all in all, this is my favourite indoor camera I tested yet, highly recommended to all.

    This is a very nice little camera. It comes well packaged inside a substantial cardboard box. The box contains:

    * The camera itself.
    * Micro-USB to USB-A power cord (2m).
    * UK 3 pin USB power supply (1A).
    * Quick setup guide.
    * Mounting plate and screws for fixing.

    It is very stylish and minimalist in appearance so would be ideal if you want a camera that is unobtrusive.

    Setup is done through the ‘Arenti’ app and took a couple of minutes.

    There is a paid cloud storage facility or you can insert an SD card to store recordings. Recordings can be set to 1, 2 or 3 minutes when an event is triggered by motion in front of the lens. There is also a ‘Human Motion Tracking’ facility which works remarkably well but it can get confused by large mirrors or people moving in different directions, so I’m not sure if I would trust it as a security feature. The camera can also be set to full day recording.

    This camera also has RTSP capability (many don’t) so it can be added to an existing surveillance system. This is what I have done and the RTSP stream can be found at:

    rtsp://999.999.999.999:8554/Streaming/Channels/101

    (where 999.999.999.999 is the actual IP address of the camera) and using the password you set in the Advanced Features > ONVIF Settings in the app. I can’t find a way to give the camera a fixed IP in the app (it uses DHCP), but my router’s DHCP settings allow for the same IP number to always be assigned to a given device so I do it this way.

    Picture quality is excellent and the camera can be set to day, night or automatic. On automatic the camera turns over to Infra Red mode when the light is low and turns on its built-in IR lights (see pictures).

    I’ve taken off one star because the camera is ONVIF/RTSP compatible and so should really have the facility to set the IP address manually.

    For the price this is a stylish, capable camera and I’m very happy with it.
