+I don’t use cloud services so I like the option to use an SD card or phone storage

+the speaker is clear and very loud if you want it that loud

-power & ethernet cords could be longer
-during initial set up, the speaker was SO loud, all types of noises as it took several attempts to connect the camera to the app and I don’t think I could turn it down until the app paired with the camera
-wish it had wifi built in in case being near my router isn’t an option
-because I’m anti cloud/paying for such things, I record from my phone through the app and sometimes it’ll freeze or not recognize my taps within the app
Overall it’s a decent camera, truly impressed by the picture quality, I’m going to continue to fiddle with it and the alarm feature. I live in an apartment so it’ll be for indoor use on days maintenance does work while I’m not home.
It does the job it’s supposed to do, good picture even at night, good sound. But, The human detection is either faulty or I need to rethink my existence. Will detect, record and track my husband, kids, friends, ups guy just fine but does not recognize me as human even when standing right in front of it. Before getting this camera I was 100% sure I was a human. But now……..

Got this camera because we travel a lot and we want to be able to check on the home and feel at ease. This camera does what it claims to do so far, and it's affordable. I also like the design.

Purchased this unit to replace one that was stationary and that was constantly going off line. Was easy to set up and all that was needed was an electrical connection. (although you could connect it directly to your wired network). The picture is great and so is the field of view. It picked up my network better than my older unit. I have it mounted about 12′ above my garage. I have a 128GB SD card that I added to it from my older unit. Every time my older unit went off line, I had to climb up on a ladder, remove the SD card, start it up, and then replace the card. This one is not like that. Mount the card and forget about it. I did have a bit of difficulty in adding my wife’s phone to be able to access the camera but the Customer service was great in addressing my problems via email. It took about 3 days to figure it out but they hung in there every day going back and forth. Looking to purchase more.
This camera has been great to use. Once I downloaded the companion app, the camera beeped and my phone responded. Everything was set up quickly and easily. I installed the camera outside, and it gets a great picture of the area it is watching. I can pull up the display on my phone any time I need. I use an SD card slot to record video (so I am not paying for the cloud service). There’s an included Ethernet cable, but there is no good way to get to my router from where I installed this camera.
Overall, I’m enjoy the camera. The A/C power means that I don’t have to recharge batteries every month or so. I can just set it and forget it! (Until there is an alert, then I can see what’s moving).
I have indoor cameras from this company and was looking to add an outdoor camera for my backyard. Set up was super easy- up and running in about 5 min. Pan and zoom work very well and the night vision is super clear. I appreciate that I can put in a micro SD card or record to the cloud and have the ability to set how and when the camera records. Overall a great addition to my set up.
This camera is a really nice camera and is so easy to set up and install, it only took me about 10 minutes to set up the software and the camera. I think it took me longer to decide where I wanted to put the camera but thanks to it’s ability to pan 315 degrees I mounted it right on the corner of the back yard of my house so I can see the back of my house as well as the side yard and with the 90 degree tilt I can see every where in those two yard easily.
You have the choice to hook it to your Ethernet so if you have problems with your WiFi you don’t lose the ability to see through the camera and the camera plugs into a outlet so there is no worry about the batteries going dead.
All in all this camera is amazing and beside being very easy to install and set up it is easy to use and the images are sharp and clear and the price is great as well so I think you will be really happy with this camera!
