Really like this Shark so far. It seems to work really well and the suction seems fine. Like how it goes from hard floor to carpet with a touch of a button! Love how small it folds making it easy to store. Really glad I bought it!

Very pleased with the product and more powerful than the Dyson cordless which it replaces, although in fairness, we have had the Dyson for several years and the company’s most recent products maybe better. The Shark is not as light as the Dyson, but still manageable.

It does what it says, although I find it a bit heavy for me as I have arthritis in my hands. It is a bit fiddlely having to fold down the top when not in use. It does not stand on its own unless you fold it down. It comes with tools in a little bag and has 2 batteries that charge so does last a good while before they run out, easy to charge up also. Delivery was quick.

Ordered for my parents. I have an shark hoover which I absolutely love. My Mum and Dad had asked me to order them a cordless hoover on Amazon for them what that’s good ratings. I Said why don’t you order yourself a Shark cordless hoover. I love my Shark. And they absolutely luv it over the moon. Fast delivery too.

I was reluctant as I read most people who had dyson wrote it’s not comparable but tbh I’ve never had dyson and I wouldn’t want to as very content with my shark as it does exactly what I need it to as it’s lightweight, easy to manoeuvres, only downside is the you have to change to the crevice to fit into smaller areas eg underneath sofes etc but that’s not a bother very pleased

Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner [IZ201UK] Anti Hair Wrap, Single Battery, Orange and White. First impressions very good, the packaging was all paper and carboard, no plastic. Assembly was very easy, even some power in the battery to get started. The build quality is excellent. The run time is good, there is a boost trigger you can pull during operation, the single battery has not run out yet during cleaning. Overall very pleased with purchase. There is only one negative feature, no wall mount. Would definitely purchase again. Very pleased with purchase.

Works really well and once fathomed all ways to bend it, versatile and easy to use.
Does suck up dog hairs well and stays untangled.
The only minus is bought it for grandparent as other models getting too heavy. The battery makes thus one heavy on the wrist, so not a perfect fix for ageing grandparents xxx

I have had this cordless vacuum for years and are amazing. Light powerful and pickups up all the dirty however I don’t have kids or pets. I just bought my mum one of these for my mum as I have been so impressed. From the dyson reviews I can see these are more durable and will last you longer as long as you look after i

I like the freedom of this cordless vacuum cleaner. I was tired of having to keep plugging in my old cleaner in various sockets but unsure if a cordless had enough suction power. This Shark bites. Excellent suction power. Still getting used to the various attachments but I like what I see.

It was an amazing experience using the shark vacuum, it firstly had more suction power, fantastic display and two rollers which helps to cover and suck all possible dirt. I’m stunned with the cleaning efficacy delivered by this product.
Only con is it’s heavy and might not be easy to clean the dirt very close to the skirting as the pad is big, but that’s fine for me, as I possible change the extension and use i

Just what I need to supplement my very heavy vacuum cleaner. The only drawback is that it tends to fall over when parked, doesn’t stand upright very easily but it does when folded down to put away. I like that feature as it fits into the cupboard under the stairs easily.

I have 2 dogs and it picks up hair brilliantly i have a injured leg and was finding it hard to use the xorded hoover i had so decided to buy a shark and its not dissapointed hope its reliability is matched by its design and suction power wow as good as any corded hoover.

Am I premature in writing this review.. possibly, but I have say even just half an hour into using this slick, so easy to use, and dismantling cordless has been a joy, maybe it feels a little heavy but that’s ok with me cause that means it’s going to do the job and oh how it does, the handheld is much lighter, I’ve done a vast research because good vacuums are not cheap, it does fascinate me tho when I read negative reviews some people just cannot be pleased, I recommend this vacuum 100%

Great suction, battery power and plenty of attachments included but I can’t get over the fact it is so heavy, only for the fact that I live in a property with no stairs I would have had to send it back, I suggest if your thinking of buying this try an electrical store with a demo on display or if you know someone who owns the hoover and get a feel for it yourself before buying.

Powerful suction, easily rid your carpet of all the hair you didn’t know was in there. Intuitive controls and add ons. It folds up small and pretty compact which is also super handy. Had it for a month or so and because there’s no faff to get it out and plug in, set up the hose etc, we’re quite happily whipping it out for little things we would normally have left for the weekend clean. Funny how it being so much easier to use and interact with makes me almost enjoy hoovering.

Hoover arrived promptly and was well packaged. It’s very easy to put together and lightweight especially if you have a bit of muscle on your arms. Not heavy enough to do damage to yourself though. Lift responsibly people. Suction is great. Our rug looks clean after a Hoover (not mentioning the brand);but after the shark there was soooo much more crap that it lifted.
Make sure you give it a.full charge before you use it. Storage is easy as it folds nicely in half.
    So far so good.

Been using for a few months now and must say that it is the best hoover ever..! The anti-hair wrap tech is amazing (no more cleaning out brushes). Love the way it folds down as takes up little room when charging/stored. Was an investment buy and as something that has replaced our two hoovers (a powerful Miele plug in and a handy Bosch stick), I have to say that this has beaten them both hands down. Highly recommended 🙂

So far this has been great. The battery takes about a hour to charge, and last long enough for me to clean the entire two bed flat two times. The battery detaches easily to charge as well.

Seems great on wood floors and also excellent on carpet. Also it’s bends and locks in different ways so you can easily hoover under tables.

After 2 months no issues so far. Sucks great 😉

Writing after 3 months of usage, it’s a decent, sturdy and strong device. Almost everything is very practical with it except its weight. It’s not a huge issue but can be a bit compelling in stairs. I would recommend definitely it if you’re switching from a traditional, corded hoover.

My previous vacuum was also a Shark but wanted to try the anti hair version. So glad I did. Lightweight and really easy to use and recharges quicker than my old version. The anti hair is much better as the rollers don’t clog up. Really happy with it and have used all the tools that came with it. 🙂

Not as as lightweight as you would think but a average person would have no trouble using it , a great piece of kit.

The product is fantastic, but when I broke one of the front wheels trying to get the hair out of it, Shark refused to help and told me the only option was to buy a new floor nozzle at 69.99. I have had it less than one year, but because I was honest, I got nowhere. It must be a regular problem with these wheels as there are several sellers on Amazon selling ‘Pattern Parts’ that have been engineered without Sharks help, I have just ordered a pack of 4 for around 10. I won’t buy another, Sorry Mum you’ll have to have the Dyson!

Great for vacuuming, easy to move from hard surface to carpets/rugs, simple emptying and takes up little storage space. I don’t have stairs so can’t comment on that but it has become more pleasurable to clean the floors. First time of use I was amazed at the amount of dust etc collected. So far I cannot fault it. Highly recommended.

Heard so many good reviews of the Shark vacuums I bought one and wasn’t to be disappointed.
The vacuum is modern, stylish and manoeuvres perfectly not to mention breaks down easily for vacuuming stairs etc. I’m actually considering buying another to keep upstairs although the lightweight construction makes it easy to transit between floors.
The Shark folds down very nicely indeed and can be broken down further giving more storage options.
My house is quite big therefore I need to rotate my cleaning especially when operating on full power as the battery life can drain quicker, I may even consider a corded Shark for the downstairs areas. My mother bought one after seeing my Shark although corded as she had also heard nothing but good reviews, however I’ll no doubt stay with cordless.
In general, very impressed so far and love the modern look, handling and power.

One of those vacuums you buy where you genuinely notice that things are extra clean, compared to what you used before.

It is light, and comes with useful accessories. The battery life is perfectly adequate for 3 or 4 large rooms. Only had it a few weeks but would happily buy a Shark again.

After owning a few Dyson machines I was cautious about changing to Shark Handled cleaner, to my surprise it’s suction power is very impressive. The battery has a good life, I have quite large rooms than normal and one charge can clean the whole house. The anitwrap roller works really well (not 100% hair free but very good) and I don’t have to clean it as often as I used to. The bendable pipe is very handy, we get to easily clean under sofas regularly as it’s convenient than once in a while like we used to. Finally the price was reasonable compared to competitors. You need to get used to the brush head, it’s very agile and nimble, slightly on the heavier side than I was expecting. Overall a good buy and I am satisfied with the product.

Can’t think of anything bad to say about this cleaner. Dog hair has always been a problem for me as I have a border collie and she only sheds a lot of hair. Previous cleaners have struggled badly with the dog hair but the shark deals easily with it. On rare occasions, I have to clean the head removal of the roller brush is very simple and replacement just as easy. It handles all floor surfaces with ease and with the car brush set cleaning the car out is very easy. Battery life is good a full charge easily copes with the whole house.

I really like this hoover, it is so convenient being a cordless vacuum but it still has a lot of power to it for a little thing especially on the boost setting. I find it a little heavy for the stairs but I don’t have the most upper body strength & with the smaller attachments it comes with it does make it a little easier!

I’m very pleased with this vac. The suction is terrific and it does a lovely job of cleaning my elderly, dusty cottage. The anti-hair wrap feature works well and it is easy to take apart to give the machine a good clean out.
If I have a criticism at all, it’s that it is very heavy, but that’s something I can put up with in view of the overall function of the machine. Expensive but worth every penny.

The Shark is the first cordless hoover we bought. Its powerful and works well sucking up with ease our cat’s hair from both carpet and wooden floors. The boost button is really handy when you need that extra oomph. It’s easy to maneuver however it gets a bit heavy after a while as you carry 4.5kg around (the motor is at the top of the handle). The sound it make its different from our old Henry so can’t quite say if its louder just different. The battery last 40 minutes however I can’t say I have hoovered 40 min straight so that has never been a problem especiallysince its put on charge at the end of the day. The multiple attachments are really easy to connect. The only problem we found is the distance between the attachments and the body of the Shark (without using the long pole) is a tad short so you have to angle it different when hoovering the stairs or the car. Overall I would definitely recommend it especially when bought in sale.

Lovely, very lightweight vacuum cleaner. Great suction power, which works on all floor surfaces. It really cleans, and picks up the carpet pile, compared to my old Dyson! Love the split shank feature to vacuum under things, too. Very easy to charge and empty, and has quite a few attachments to clean many areas of the home. Love it! Thanks!

I am loving this cordless vacuum cleaner. The suction is great and it goes from carpeted floors to laminate flooring with ease. The dust collection part is easy to empty using the slide to release button. I give 4.5 stars only because it is not as light as some other stick vacuum cleaners.

A great vacuum the amount of dirt dust and dog hairs that come out when I empty it on a daily bases make me feel
Disgusted as It makes me think I have never cleaned properly but I have.
When fully charged it goes for 45 minutes
If you need a new cordless cleaner get this one and you will not be disappointed.

Easy to empty dust bin & Easy to remove filters for washing.
Would have liked a spare filter set.
It is strong & well made bottom is heavy that’s why it presses down on the carpets..
    Good set of tools.
    Good price.

Exactly what my wife wanted and I got bonus brownie points for buying this for her!
Easily put together. Excellent vacuum cleaner. The battery lasts long enough to do the job (40 to 45 minutes).
Very top heavy, so has a tendency to fall over.
Eco mode and turbo suction. The turbo uses more battery obviously but it certainly does a fantastic job!

I’d tried cheaper cordless vacume then a mid range and neither came up to scratch. I bought this and I’ve now given away my corded one. I wouldn’t say vacuuming is now my favourite pass time but the Shark has certainly taken some of the strain awsy. It’s so much easier to pop out of the cupboard and whip around my home. Easier to get it upstairs than the heavier corded vacume plus the attachments all come in handy. Brilliant to take away in the motorhome. I’m going to be sticking with this brand. Try it for yourself.

My cordless vacuum of another, far more expensive, brand had finally given up the ghost and I didn’t want to pay out as much to replace it, so I ordered the shark and I’m so pleased I did. It does a much better job than the previous vacuum, comes with a comprehensive set of tools and is easy to empty and charge. It handles pet hair and human hair very well and the anti hair-wrap feature is useful and efficient. I recommend unreservedly.

I love this item Because I can actually remove and fit together the different fittings easily. As my hands are no longer strong This is a huge benefit. Every thing about it is good to use. Different suction for vynel and carpets useful attachment’s neat charger. Only negative thing is it a little more heavy than I anticipated. But it folds up at an easy click of a button. So I would recommend this I had Dyson before. Never again Shark brillia

Great suction, last long enough to hoover all flat and a rug. Collects our cat’s hair pretty well. Didn’t order hair attachment yet, as not needed. Washed inside once, dried quick. Had a little smell after first wash, but gone after 10mins of hoovering. Pregnant Mrs manages hoover’s weight with no problem, so lightweight defo.

I had a Dyson handheld and a full size Dyson and have replaced both with this. It’s expensive on the face of it but I spent more replacing every part of my Dyson handheld (affectionately known as Triggers Broom) some multiple times, new motorised heads, batteries, etc. Amazing performance from a small hoover. Suction is great, battery is great, foldaway design is awesome, removable battery so no need to drill into the wall. Very happy with this.

What a collosal waste of money. It doesnt so much pick up dirt as re-arrange it, as it pushes it around the floor. The roller at the front of the head actually prevents dirt from getting to the spinning brush thats supposed to pick it up.
I must revise this review as it turned out the unit I had purchased was in fact faulty and now that it has been repaired is absolutely brilliant. Terrific suction. Picks up really well on all surfaces.

I love this vacuum! First of all, it was really easy to put together. Suction is good on it – there is a hard floor and a carpet setting, as well as a lever to pull on for extra suction when needed. When using it, the main floor attachment lights up – which is great to see any crumbs on debris on lighter coloured floors. It’s lightweight, so no trouble at all to carry up the stairs. The top clicks off very simply for the smaller attachments to be used (which come with a handy bag to store them all in). It’s also very easy to clean out after using it and folds down to half it’s height to store. So happy with this purchase! Don’t hesitate!

I was torn between dyson and the shark, when I read reviews I decided on shark. I was very pleased with it. Great on hard wood and carpet, I do not find it heavy at all like the other reviews. The only thing negative thing is the pet hair attachment is rubbish I was very disappointed with it but the other attachments are great. I would highly recommend definitely worth the money.

Really pleased with the Shark. Run time is longer than expected and the suction is really good on all surfaces. It is heavier than we tjough it would be but not unmanageably so. Our 8 year old manages to use it fine. Only slight complaint is that using the short attachment for doing the stairs is less impressive but still better than any other cordless vacuum we’ve tried.

  46. DelorasMadrid says:

This cleaner certainly deserves to bear the Shark name. It is definitely a shark gobbling up hair and fluff. The modification that stops hair getting caught around the brush definitely works. Shame all cleaners are not the same. Very easy to put together and very manouverable. A little heavy but that’s something I can get used to. Also it does not take up a lot of space when folded down which is particularly important if your home is small and there’s not a lot of space.

I wanted to upgrade from my tired old cylinder vac, and hunted all I could on various models. I settled on the Shark, and I am not disappointed!! It is lightweight, the tools clip in easily, the suction is excellent and even has a boost mode. It charges easily and quickly, and I can vac ALL the house (bungalow) 3 times before re-charging. It folds away neatly and unobtrusively. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

This cordess vacuum is hands down the best vacuum I have used. We had a v10 and the filter kept blocking up and the suction wasn’t great. It put me off cordless cleaners as I felt that the one that is supposed to be the best was rubbish, then it is likely that the other would be the same. I was wrong. My dad and my inlaws both got one and loved it, so I bit the bullet and got one. Boy was I surprised. This vacuum is amazing. You can literally whizz round with it and substantially cuts down the time taken to clean the house and the battery easily last the task. Highly recommend.

Only writing a short review. The unit itself does a great job on floors so I would give it 5 stars. HOWEVER, the tools are absolutely awful! Dyson tools are a million times better than these. I’ve had to go back to dusting with a duster because the dusting tool is useless! With the Dyson the long thin soft brush attachment made dusting a dream. It’s a real shame! I just hope better attachments come out soo

This vac is wonderful. The only downside is the weight of the battery which sits at the top of the machine. The machine cannot stand upright, unless you are holding it in use. It has taken a bit of personal adjustment to use after my Gtech. I have bad spinal arthritis. The advantages overide these factors. I have recently taken a long haired rescue cat. This machine is perfect. The accessories are easy to attach, covering all eventualities. The waste bin is so easy to empty. I feel in control of the vast amount of fur which my new cat sheds. All in all, I’m impressed.

This hoover is good as an additional hoover if quickly I need to do a superficial clean. It’s not, even remotely, in the same league as normal electric hoovers. Its added value is that it can go anywhere and doesn’t need to be connected. It can be used in the case or any place where a quick hoover is needed.

My little one dropped some kinetic sand on the floor, it can’t hoover it. Only a traditional hoover can deal with this kind of mess.

I purchased this vacuum as I have long hair and a dog and I love it!! I use all the attachments that come with it(which are easily switchable) to keep on top of the up high and down low areas of my house. The lights on the Hoover really make you see everything so you pick up all the pet hairs you may normally miss. It’s lightweight, easy to move and the adjustable arm makes reaching under furniture amazingly easy. It holds its charge for me to do my house twice a day and is so easy to re-charge. Also i dont have to spend time cutting off or picking out hair wrapped around the rollers. I absolutely love this Hoover and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Well unlike some reviews it isn’t so powerful as to pull you along the floor. But it does also weighs a little more than say a ‘VAX Stick’. I’d say it’s okay as a battery powered vacuum, there are better out there but with an extra battery it is a viable option to the usual. The hair wrap thing works for us, I’m hairy, my missus too and we have have a pesian and no issues fo far! It’s good for the money if a little over priced

Great vacuum. Does what it says on the tin. Yes it’s more pricey than the budget ones but there is a reason for that. Love that the battery alone has a 2 year warranty too, and the device itself a 5 year warranty. I wouldn’t say this is lightweight for the elderly though. Not heavy, but not lightweight either. But overall an awesome product.

Bit heavy and I don’t think it’s that great for stairs but otherwise couldn’t fault it… Great suction, good battery life, does sofa and chairs really well. Great in hard surfaces and carpet. Extra power feature is a brilliant. Like having the lights at the front and the reach under tables, etc is a real bonus. Folds away nicely. Weight is in the battery and it makes the cleaner heavier than I expected. I like that you can remove the battery to charge it so don’t have to store the cleaner near to a plug point. It is top heavy so won’t stand on it’s own which is a bit annoying- supports itself when folded for storage. Overall I’d recommend as long as happy about the weight – dyson it’s lighter but I think the dust cup is smaller with a dyson.

I am actually very much enjoying this hoover we mainly have laminates in a 3 bedroom house and it feels like a quick job to hoover up now:) its easy to grab and excellent to manoeuvre. I the lights at bottom are also great to actually see its clean! The sunction power i would not say is amazing in comparison to our old corded hoover however i suppose its enough for us. The battery seems fine so far however it does feel weird knowing that if you use the power button it does within 10mns so cleaning the car wasnt as joyful..

Love the ease of no cable, battery life great, suction brilliant, although admit I always use the booster trigger whether I need to or not and just wondered why it couldn’t be an on/off switch. Cleans all type of flooring. Love that it fold in half to store. My only criticism is the battery is placed at the top of the handle making the full hoover top heavy, you have to lean it against something or it falls over when finished. That’s why the 4 stars. Overall happy with the product though.

This Shark is nice, worthy that money and did the job nice. Battery life is good, I would say a 30 mins. Weight is fine if only the narrow nozzle, a bit heavy if fully equipped (all cordless vacuum cleaners are heavy I think). Easy to store that is very good. I would recommend this to others.

This is a great vacuum on many fronts. I’ve had a GTech before and other cordless vacuums but this is pretty foolproof and a good cleaner. Folds down for easy storage. It won’t work in a totally upright position which is a bit of a nuisance as it makes the stairs hard to clean., and you have to keep your finger in the boost button the whole time you want boost However, a good battery time, ease of use and emptying it and all in all I’m happy

Took ages to pick the right vacuum. So glad l did.
This is the best vacuum l have ever owned.
I will highly recommend the Shark to anyone who is looking for
A versatile and easy to use vacuum. I had a Dyson which was good but
Not as good as the Shark. I love it.

we would all love a shark but they are pricey,
but i got lucky, i stumbled on this in a sale and was just over 200quid,
this is my new favorite thing in the house, the anti hair wrap is perfect for my anoying girlfriends long blonde hair that ruined the previous vacuum,
all the attachments are great i now do my whole house in like 15 mins conpared to 40mins without lugging a wire around my and changing plugs,
i got lucky with the price but if that doesnt bother you a shark is for you.

This is a really good vacuum cleaner. It is very lightweight to use on the carpet or hardwood flooring and has very good suction. It picks up dog hairs well and it is easy to remove any tangled hairs from around the brushes. It has very good capacity and doesn’t need emptying as frequently as other cleaners. I do however, find it to be quite heavy to lift to clean cobwebs etc.

I absolutely love it! The one feature that I love the most are the headlamps! I know, right? But it actually helps to see the dirt! It is super easy to use, empty and charge. I realy like the fold function for under sofa, furniture and bed scenarios. Stairs wise- I like the attachements. We have 2 cats – one long hair. My hair is also super long but the antiwrap brush has been ok with it! I use it daily (while previous hoover- dut to the hassle of cables, difficult ways of emptying it- weekly!). Probably my best buy of this year. I feel like our entire house is cleaner and fresher. I find that I dont have to use it on full power all the time to get rid of dirt. Also battery lasts approx 40 minutes. I manage to do a 2 bed house hoover with that.

A lot of power from this vacuum, made short work of cleaning throughout the house, Probably took me a third of the time. Very efficient at lifting dust etc. The hair wrap technology doesn’t work. I had to clear the rollers 3 times with hair tightly wrapped round them. However it is hugely better than my previous vacuum. It is heavier than I thought but so much easier to use than a corded vacuum on wheels ( yes I’m that old fashioned!), no struggling round corners and going into other rooms. Will recommend it.

This is really good at cleaning wooden floors and it has to settings, carpet and flat, but we use the carpet setting as it soft brushes the wood. There is a boost button if required. It comes with a good array of tools and can also reach under beds with easy due to the middle flexible section. Naturally it’s top heavy as this is where the battery is located and be careful when standing upright as it can topple if your not careful.
Overall and excellent vacuum on wooden floors but can’t comment on carpets or stairs.

I used to use Dyson, but time came to buy a new vacuum cleaner. I decided to save money and was right. Shark is a great vacuum cleaner. Holds a charge for a long time, I manage to vacuum a large 2-bedroom apartment with carpets 3-4 times without recharging the vacuum cleaner. I would recommend this product! This is a great deal.

    powerfull

Pros: 2 rollers, a firm one for carpet and a soft one for hard floor.
    Range of attachments
Suction good in comparison to other cordless vacs I have had

    Cons: not particularly lightweight.

  70. Anonymous says:

Lightweight. I use the handheld part of the hoover quite often because it’s very convenient to just detach it and get those crumbs or whatever. I like that the stick folds so you can easily get under tables etc. It’s so easy to moneuver. That’s probably its best asset. The antihair rap is nonsense tbh because hair and string wraps around the inside all the time. But it’s not difficult to get it off. If I see thread or something that looks like it could get stuck I prefer to just detach the hand held and get it with that, then put it back on the stick. I’m not into hoovers, but it’s the most convenient one I’ve used.

Dual purpose for hard floors and carpets works very well.
The active carpet brush does wonders and practically pulls itself forward.

Had an old Hoover quadruple A rated 1600w and this one cleaned better and faster. Picked up so much more.

It’s easy to clean, length adjustable and different brush head attachments.

    Really happy with the purchase.

Very good vacuum cleaner. Cleans and picks up much better than a leading brand electric vacuum cleaner that I have replaced. Although the Shark is much lighter than the electric one it’s replaced, the battery unit is understandabley a little heavy. This is not a major problem, I have arthritis in my hands and I can still have a firm / safe hold of the unit.

This is a fantastic hoover and incredibly good value for money. Seriously outperforms much pricier rivals.

    1) Performance – ie collecting is great.
    2) Manoeuvrability is excellent. It is a little heavier than others but the brush head pulls the machine along, completely negating this only slight criticism made by others.
    3) Charge – happily does the whole of our 5 bedroom house on one charge.
    4) Easy to empty, take apart and clean.
    5) Added to this, and not mentioned in the listing, it has LED lights that light up in front, making it easy to see this behind doors etc.

Would highly recommend – my family thinks I am working for Shark such that I harp on about it in our zoom chats; and it’s a hoover!

Best spend of 2020! Thank you, Shark!

My house has mostly wooden flooring and I find the Shark ideal especially with the ‘head lights’ high-lighting dust particles. I like the way you can detach it for easy handheld use when vacuuming the car. The only downside is you can’t leave it without folding it back down as it’s top heavy and will topple over. The handle is also quite long so I’m not sure if it would be suitable for a short person as they may find it difficult to manoeuvre.

The best cordless I’ve ever had.

This vacuum is the best I’ve ever used for stairs. It’s easy to use and effective, powerful enough to do a great job. The power can even be boosted if required, by simply pulling a lever on the handle.

The suction is great in all settings and the anti-wrap feature means no more time spent unravelling dog hair from the rollers- this is a huge benefit.

It’s not as lightweight as, say, the GTech, but is still light enough to use easily and it’s performance far superior.

  76. MurielHerington says:

Thought this was going to be better than our Dyson, but I would say it’s half the auction power, collector fills up very quickly thus needs emptied much more.
Anti hair wrap doesn’t seem to work and it’s literally stopping the roller from turning sometimes,
LED lights on front are a good idea and it’s a doddle to store away as folds up great.

Guess Jimmy Dyson is still the vacuum heavy weight champion of the world though.

Great vacum cleaner. We previously had another brands pet hoover and although this was a little more expensive they are worlds apart. Anti hair wrap actually works, great and lightweight easy for cleaning the sofas/ stairs/ blinds. The only negative is the turbo button is a trigger so you have to constantly have it held while using turbo which is most of the time especially in carpets. Great on hard floor. Highly recommend, you know your getting old when you start leaving reviews for vacume cleaners

Picks up well very happy but it is a bit heavier than I expected. I am very happy with the head, I have very long hair and it hasn’t once caught around the brush, also have a dog. This is a great vacuum cleaner glad I got it.
The tool set is perfect for every job. Powerful vacuum for a battery powered cleaner. Better than any corded. It’s the best I’ve ever had.

Really impressed with this hoover having had a Dyson handheld for a few years. It is a little heavier than the Dyson but so much more powerful. Love the feature where it folds to go under the bed etc, only bought the version with one battery and so far that hasn’t been a problem. We only have three rooms with carpet but we were struggling to get the fluff up with the Dyson but this hoover makes it look like we have new carpets. Definitely recommend this

So the antihairwrap doesn’t work at all and it’s hard to deep clean the car as your holding the weight of the Hoover the whole time and it doesn’t fit in small spaces but apart from that I love it .
I always used to have Dysons but I can honestly say it cleans my carpets so much better then the dysons ever did. It’s great I can Hoover the whole house in one go.

    Not antihairwrap

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat hoover. Does everything I need it to and exceeded my expectations. The anti hair wrap feature seems to work well. I read some negative reviews regarding this feature but my partner moults worse than an old English sheep dog and it managed to digest 3 rooms-worth of her hair without clogging up the rollers! It’s powerful with great suction and the included tools make for easy work in all the nooks and crannies. My only negative comment would be the battery life is quoted to be a 40 minute run time. I got nowhere near this, more like 20 minutes at a push, using the hoover on full power (as most people would I’d imagine). A second battery would probably be a worthwhile investment for this model. All in all though, a very decent hoover!

Absolutely outstanding, only used it once but the amount of dust it sucked in is absolutely phenomenal and I hoovered the other day with henry. Reason buying it was due to I have a big house and I wanted a cordless vacuum but for the first time I can say Henry will be kept on stand by as this vacuum cleaner is what I was looking for. Really impressed.

I have owned this for 5 days, used it 3 times a day and love it. Due to lockdown, working from home and having kids at around more, the floors, especially the kitchen get dirty constantly. Because this is cordless and therefore effortless to use, because it folds into a small space and can live in the kitchen, because it has amazing manoeuvrability and great suction power, and because it has a detachable mini vacuum for stairs etc, it gets used all the time and therefore earns its place in a household that believes in form and function. The fact that there are lights on it that allow it to be used in the dark (and in dark places) and has bendy bits that mean that it’s irresistible to 10 year olds who are now keen to vacuum everywhere is just a bonus. What’s not to love.

Well, I can’t believe the difference between my new Shark and my old vacuum. What a pleasure to glide over all my floors, and using the attachments which click in effortlessly. The suction is so satisfying, and the light is especially helpful. House or car, nothing defeats it. This is my best investment ever. It gave me great pleasure to consign my old machine to the tip.

We borrowed our daughters Shark vacuum and we were amazed at the difference it made to our carpets, so we checked to see where we could purchase one but not quite as heavy as our daughters. We decided on the battery powered stick type vacuum as we live in a bungalow and too old to fiddle around on the skirting board with plugs. Our other requirement is that the filter was easy to clean and it is. So, its a joy to use and maintain and would highly recommend The Shark.

I’ve had this for 5 months now and am beyond happy. This is incomparable to a normal corded hoover! Way easier to use, lighter, maneuverable and picks up so much more dust (I had a VAX before). Great for hovering under the bed or sofa, as well as the stairs. The battery lasts for a week, maybe a bit more (I live in a one bedroom with two flights of stairs). 5 year warranty is definitely a plus too. Finally, it’s super compact and doesn’t take up much space at all.

We have used a couple of cordless vacs now. This one has good suction and run time. Easy to maneuver and folds so can be left upright. Tools fit well and build quality good. Better than previous vacuum. Because the motor is at the hand height could be heavy for people of limited mobility in their hands.

Bought to replace a Dyson V6 Animal and the difference in cleaning quality is massive.

So much more picked up with far less resort l effort, even when compared with a new version of the cordless Dyson I borrowed to test, a clean with the Shark on normal paper a couple of days on later picked up a substantial amount of missed hair and dust without the need for constant back and forth with the Dyson on turbo mode.

It is heavier than the Dyson’s but it feels like a far heavier duty and quality machine.

Only going it after a work colleagues recommendation as I had not heard of the bend before but would not go back now.

Moved into a new property recently and have got round to changing the carpets yet. They are very thick heavy deep carpets and the shark has bought them up lovely. Easy to use and clean. Can do the whole house and still have charge in it. I’m very happy with this product.
