If you want a small loud hi fi then this is for you good clear sound best system I have bought in a long time
Really good for the money
Better than imagine for small unit cant fault for price
A potentially good DAB receiver which would be excellent if, as others have mentioned, an aerial F socket had been fitted rather than a short length of wire. In my case I stripped the end and soldered a TV Coax IEC plug to that wire by wrapping black tape around the outside of the wire to grip the plug. That is fed via a coax female to female adapter (see photo) to a length of coax cable with an F connector on the other end. This then connects to a “Labgear Omni Dab” radio aerial which needs to be mounted vertically inside or outside. In my case I get a good signal by suspending it discretely near the unit (see photo). It now pulls in 64 stations with signal error counts under 20 for each – IE near perfect reception. That was not the case using just the supplied black wire. Once it is out of warranty I will see if I can add a proper aerial F connector to the back of the case for a neater result.
Nice sound and look for the money. Was really happy with it until we later noticed that the time and date wouldn’t stay correct for very long. Tried entering it both ways as the manual suggests but always sets its self back to 00.00 and counts the seconds for the time and 1-1-2020 for the date. Recycled the box before we noticed this so couldn’t return it. Guess it’s not a big deal so not too worried. I would suggest checking this first.
It is superb but other remote controls from other devices interfere with it , I was pressing the volume up on my sound bar and the hi fi started opening and closing the cd tray, also the fire stick remote interferes with it aswell . but apart from that its superb sound and easy to use with its own remote.Its like that kid in the play ground it does not play well with others.
Great little system, I have in my bedroom and looks good on unit and sound quality is great.
Easy to master, nice features the bluetooth is very handy, it allows you to stream all your music from phone for example.
My only gripe is the aerial which is a short length of flimsy wire, and doesn’t always pick up a good signal. There is no aerial socket provided, so it’s not possible to plug in a better aerial.
Overall, it’s a really good budget sounds system. Two things to improve: sound modes (equaliser) not good enough and Bluetooth (lower volume when using it).
Very easy to setup. Great sound and functionality. The bluetooth function works very well to play my Spotify playlists.
Small compact and worth the money.
Great reception on the DAB Radio, not so good on the FM.
Obviously this is purely down to where you live and signal strengths.
Very glad to see such quality items still available at a fair price. I am extremely deaf from a young age and I need this quality of sound and the flexible balance of sound. Not got my head around setting up the radio channels yet hence one less star. I only use it to listen to classics and folk music and the bass is really rich and deep. Totally great!

An “idiot proof” plug and play hi fi system – I am so impressed!
Connected straight into my existing BIG Wharfdale speakers and powered them up – no problem.
A standard 13amp plug was provided along with a “euro” style plug (anybody want 2 small speakers and a “euro” plug?)

Sound quality does not match it’s power specifications, whole thing is light, including the speakers, which perhaps accounts for the at best average sound quality.
A few niggles I also had include very short speaker cables, poor radio reception and no sleep function.
Connectivity is good, useful having USB and aux inputs at the front.
I suppose for the money OK but I think its worth spending more for better quality sound.

My only dislike is the mp3 has no track / album names for the price it’s not a problem.

Don’t buy the DAB aerial offered with this system as there is no connection for it. The system comes with a wire that is pre-fitted to the rear of the unit.
Note that the 3m long speaker leads are not 3m per speaker but a ridiculously short 1.5m on each speaker.
Consegna perfetta, arriva tutto il necessario per partire subito. Audio buono, un po di confusione tra equalizzazione e loudness. comunque facile ottenere un buon suono. Casse in dotazione discrete, adeguate all”ascolto a basso volume. Con casse pi “robuste” la resa sonora migliora, alzando il volume la qualit del suono diventa pi equilibrata e naturale. Ricezione DAB ottima.
The sound is quite loud so have your remote in your hand to turn the volume down upon first power up. The quality is very good and so is the price. Being a Sharp well known brand, you can not go wrong.
My only criticism is that the digital screen display is rather small and would of been great had it been larger.

Managed to get 95% of all functionality without recourse to the manual.
Very happy with sound output from all posible sources.
The supplied antenna, which is not removable, is a short thin wire. My expectation for DAB reception was low. Amazed to find the reception was excellent.
Don’t purchase the addittional DAB antenna, its not needed, and even if it is was, there is no facility to plug it in. Its being falsely advertised.
Very pleased with the item. Great sound and choices on the remote control. The only thing missing on the unit is the lack of headphone jack, hence 4* Instead of 5*

Super easy to use fits almost anywhere and automatically tunes dab when turned on remote is super clear the only problem it has is it does not support headphones
