Small and compact but does everything you need!
Sometimes difficult to press the buttons but slowly getting used to it!
You get a lot of steam inside when used
You get a lot of steam inside beach time you use it so I have been drying it with kitchen towel each time as I suspect in time if you didn’t dry it it may have the potential to get rusty inside like my previous one did. Good microwave easy to use with preset options, baked potato option cooks them perfect!
Belies it's low price.
Brilliant little microwave. Just the ticket for all day to day uses. Very practical and easy to use and the spec, what with the halogen grill and quick set microwave features, make it a very satisfying purchase. Excellent choice and value for money.

Tricky touch controls, soon got the hang of it though.
The only problem I have with this microwave is the touch control – it can be very difficult at times to get touch right to activate the touch ‘buttons’. Should be easier.
Otherwise a very good (and good looking) microwave.

25l black flatbed - so far so good
I’ve been using this for a week now without any problems at all. I didn’t think I’d need the grill/convection oven aspects, but on offer it wasn’t much more than microwave-only ovens. I’ve found myself using the grill/convection as it cooks better than my main oven (electric fan). Heats up far quicker (less air/space to make hot) so cooking starts almost immediately. I’ve certainly found no need to preheat the oven as with my main oven, although preheat is programmable and it’ll keep it hot for 30m before automatically turning off (in case you fell asleep waiting for the preheat complete beeper) – a nice safety feature.
I kept the glass turntable from my old microwave thinking it’d make a good base plate and that was a great bit of forward planning. I can put any type of plastic container on the glass plate without fear it’ll sully the flatbed or stick to it. It’s become a permanent fixture until such time I need to pack more square things in.
The keypad beeps with every press but you can turn that off. It only beeps 4 times (moderately) when your meal is ready. Short beeps too – my old one did 8 long loud beeps that kept going even when I’d opened the door – drove me up the wall – felt like it was screaming at me “BEEEEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEP…”. I’ll give this 5* just for that alone! It goes into child lock mode after a few minutes of non-use. Just press mute for 3s to unlock, or open/close the door.
It looks lovely in black. The door is slightly mirrored and you can use it as such if you want. The clock is a nice clear white. You can turn it off by pressing stop for 3s – I don’t need 3 clocks in the kitchen.
Nothing to complain about regarding this oven at all – works perfectly and probably more efficiently than using my main oven for simple frozen fish/chips type easy meals.
I do find the manual lacking though. 9 pages of warnings. 2 pages for installation. 1 page for “control panel”. Just 3 pages related to cooking. The “auto cook” (program) table A01-A13 is sorely lacking. It just tells you “code=food type”. eg “A10 = oven chips”. It does not tell you if that program uses microwave, grill or convection, how long it runs for or what power levels. If you don’t know a program is going to use the grill and you put a plastic container in then you’re going to have a serious problem. I tried A10 for my first cook and it uses both grill and convection. I could only tell this by staring into the microwave and seeing the grill element turn red – just for a few minutes then it turns off while the convection oven does the rest. It would be nice if the manual stated how each program operates. I’ve drawn a table in the back of the manual to write down how each program works as I nervously venture through the programs possibly using the wrong type of container. Much better to use the manual combos/settings methinks.
However – the A10 did my frozen fish and chips really well (using the supplied “baking tray” – no idea if I was supposed to use it for that). It runs for 20 mins (not adjustable) and needed another 5 mins to get them just right. Exactly how long depends on many things including how cold your freezer actually is. Live and learn.
A thumbs up for the oven. A thumbs down for the manual if it’s the programs you specifically need. If you prefer manual operation then all that is explained well; microwave only, grill only, convection only, microwave+grill (eg lasagne), microwave+convection (eg chicken and steak). There doesn’t seem to be grill+convection so I’m still not sure how my A10 fish and chips cooked! I used the metal baking tray so it can’t be microwaved, the grill did come on so it must be grill+convection even though it’s not manually possible.
All in all a very capable oven. Flatbed rocks – you have the entire expanse of the square base available (12″ x 12″, 30cm x 30cm – a tiny bit more but that’s about right). The manual states internal dimensions of 330 x 220 x 335 mm (W x H x D). That is somewhat misleading. The base is not that size. It’s only 330mm wide if you measure from the indent on the left hand panel half way up. It’s only 335mm deep if you include the inner indent on the door – 335mm actually comes out of the oven a little. I’d not be buying any dishes based on the manuals dimensions. I’ve a 12″x12″ pizza stone that fits with just a little room to spare on each side.
Great microwave good convection ove
This is a good product, Ive used it for 2 months so far. I preferred the previous incarnation with the pull down door which meant you could access the interior from either side, but this is as good functionally. It works well as a convection oven but I suspect the temperature is lower than that indicated and takes longer to cook stuff than in a normal convection oven. The upside is that it uses much less energy and only takes 3mins to heat to temperature. I’d buy it again.

Was bought to replace a Samsung Convection Microwave that had died. Have to say this is far superior in quality. Made sure it was a stainless steel interior so it has good longevity and having convection would mean that we used the normal oven less, thus helping to keep the energy bills down. This thing is awesome in that respect! It pre-heats to the desired temperature in around 4 minutes no matter what the temperature is set at! The costs savings in pre heating alone make this a worthwhile purchase. Will definitely buy Sharp again in the future! genuinely awesome bit of kit.
Really solid and powerful Microwave
This was required just before Christmas when our old unit broke down. The power is noticeable and the easy to clean ceramic inside is a real boon. The unit is quite large but that is ok as it is also larger inside and that just makes it more versatile. The touch buttons work fine and are responsive and the display is clear and bright. This is a capable Microwave and its performance has been noticeable compared to the unit it replaced which was from a leading brand. This Sharp unit is just better in every way. Impressed.
My 14 years cheap Tesco bought microwave had started to go rusty inside so time for a replacement. Bought this one as I don’t need a fancy all singing and dancing microwave. So far it has proved easy to use and keep clean.
Only downside is if you open the door halfway through cooking it cancels what’s left of the time to cook and you have to start again in effect. It also has a fan that runs on after you have finished – so the noise can be annoying.

It’s a good microwave but why have to press the microwave button every time you want to set timer. I know it has a grill but surely that is a distant second use. Other than that it’s decent for the price.

Good alternative to the big convection oven, for smaller things that you would feel guilty to turn on the big one just for that. I like it very much. Does its job!

Sharp Microwave
Staying loyal to Sharp.
Last microwave was a Sharp and lasted over 10 years.
So decided to stay loyal and buy another Sharp.
This model was on offer at a very good price and we are very pleased with it.
Looks good, very simple to use. Excellent display, very clear and easy to see.
Reassuringly very heavy and sturdy.
So far a good decision.
Simple and effective microwave
I’m very happy with this microwave, which I’ve now had for nearly 2 months.
It’s very easy to use, no fuss. I mostly use the high microwave setting, or the grill. The grill function is a great addition for some quick fixes, and to avoid heating up the full oven for something small. It’s cheaper than most combi models that I found online.
The only negative is the beeping when it finishes, which all microwaves seems to have. It beeps 5 times if you don’t open the door before it reaches the specified time. It’s not a very loud beep, but still annoying. I’d love to be able to switch this off.

Brilliant and Simple
Bought to replace my old combination microwave. I didn’t want anything over complicated and this looked perfect.
Pleased to say for my uses it is perfect. A massive improvement on my old one, nice clean button placements and easy to use.

Bought this to replace my second Russell Hobbs microwave, both of which rusted irreparably on the inside (have found RH to be inferior in all small appliances I’ve bought from them and shan’t be buying any more).
Paid a tad more for this, but needed something to fit a particularly small space, and in black. Turns out it’s actually a little shorter, has no vents on the top, heats far better than my previous microwave so heating times have been reduced, and is rather good all round.
Haven’t tried the grill option yet.
Only caveat would be if you’re not housing it in a well lit area (mine’s below the counter), you will need to memorise the relevant button positions that you use most often.

I am 77 so found it a bit complex at first (1 Day) but once I mastered its multi-functionality I was cooking on high speed my old micro seemed like something found in a medieval cave.

Good all round and simple
So happy with this Microwave, has all that I needed and so simple to use none of those buttons that i’ll never use.
Also on thing i find good is the display is bigger to see than past microwaves we have had.
One thing i was not too sure about when we ordered was there is no turntable but this has suited me a lot better than one with as you can just insert any plate suited for microwave and its a doddle to clean.
Very happy all round and would purchase again.
Not having an internal light let’s it down.
Great microwave but not being able to see how your food is cooking is a disappointment. Not that I like to watch my the microwave for entertainment, but more so to check if food is overcooking/burning/overflowing etc.
Bought as a stand in and OMG I LOVE it!
We have had to move into a rental property, whilst we are having work done at home, only after we moved in we realised no microwave as ours is built in at home. As we are not going to need this item forever, it seems a good price and multi function. I am amazed how quick this little beauty is! It knocks spots off our built in one at home, I found the operation of the microwave a little tricky at first, but just keep the instructions next to the oven, love the grill function. A excellent priced item with excellent functionality!

The flat bed design makes a lot more sense than a turntable.

Bought to use as a small one person oven in a small kitchen. It’s a BEAST. Most one person portions of stuff of any type usually is 200c for half an hour… This is 190 for 25 mins…
Best of all: no turntable to go wrong.
Worst of all: no square grill pan or shelf and whatnot.
WARNING: as with all new cooking appliances, each individual needs to learn how the appliance fits in with the user’s cooking styles and lifestyle, ergo YOUR experience may differ.
So far, though, I say it’s a great value piece of kit.
Edited, November 2021. I found if used on higher heat settings for over more than about 25 mins, it overheats and goes a bit dolally tap or shuts down… So although it DOES go up to 230C and 90mins, don’t do it!
Good functionality small microwave
I had my last Panasonic microwave for 17 years, sadly it started playing up, so chose this one as it similarly has a lot of the same functions, it is small compared to my last one, but so far it’s performed well.
How far so bloody fantastic
Best microwave grill ever great size so so easy to use. The grill function is so good. I like how neat the grill is hidden away ( not like other my grills where we just hangs and can burn). It cooks ash browns lovely

Smaller than a lot of other microwaves but does what we need it to do. Big enough for normal sized plates.

Loud beep! Which you can not stop once it is doing the finishing beeps. Also button pushes have loud beeps too.
Very light so need to consider what surface it will be placed on so it does not slide when using the buttons
or get some pads to stop it from sliding.
Arrived in perfect time and condition.
A bit long winded compared to my last one, but once you know what you’re doing, it’s very easy.
Mostly just use the microwave option, as the grill works, but the microwave gets splattered.
Done cheese on toast in it, and it did work.
The Start button on the keypad is starting to bubble already though.

Thus far this has been really good. I have reused the grill function but everything works fine. It’s easy to use and looks good too. It could do with being a centimetre talker inside to accommodate some of my ready meals. But apart from that I’m really pleased with it.

Good little microwave.
To get a “cook” for under 7 minutes you have to turn it all the way around and back again. If you dont all you are doing is defrosting. Isnt clear from looking.
There are different heat levels and can be used to grill / half and half etc I havent tried those functions yet.
But for what I require its the business.

This microwave is the best one i have ever bought, everything works, the grill is great and the microwave itself cooks very fast being a 900w so everything cooks faster for you. Would recommend this microwave based on it`s performance and looks.

So far been a good microwave I took away a star because it’s not that easy to use right out the box it doesn’t have a 0-9 numerical pad… Instead it has 3 annoying buttons to set how long you need and the beeping while setting the timer is more annoying than having to go see my mother inlaw

Nice roomy microwave, good power, simple to use.
Technically it also has the ability to grill, like a huge toaster-oven. But we just use it as a good-sized microwave. The wattage is good, so it cooks things a lot faster than our previous microwave.
We aren’t demanding microwave users, but it does everything we want.
This is good value for money but there is a drawback. The control system Abel is not illuminated although the photos look as though it is. You need a bright light in the kitchen to be able to see it.
Other than that, recommended.

Although it works well it would be better if Sharp had included a cookery book. My only complaint is that the plastic film which covers the panel on the front is torn already and is coming off. I think that Sharp should make some adjustment to this model.

No precise timing.
My previous Microwave had digital buttons and initially I found this microwave difficult to set for precise timings.
However, I have now got used to it. I do feel that I maybe have to wipe up condensation too frequently.
However, I realize that this is probably due to excellent sealing of the unit.

Compact and User friendly
This microwave replaced our old one which was getting rusty under the plate. The dimensions were perfect for the small space we have available. It’s extremely easy to use for defrosting and everyday cooking. The only slight negative is that the quick start button has to be pressed exactly in the middle which sometimes means having to have 2 or 3 go’s at getting it started. Perhaps if it was bigger it would solve the problem. Otherwise EXCELLENT! Also having a push button door opener is great so it can be opened one handed.

Needed a small microwave and this fitted the bill. A little too small as it doesn’t fit a standard size dinner plate. It does do a great job though. The plastic wheels under the glass tray move around more than I would like and I’m always having to adjust them.

It works! Strange I know but we bought an integrated one of a different brand and it was nothing but trouble.
This little Sharp microwave is excellent, it has several different functions and surprisingly our plates fit in it.
It looks quite compact but is really spacious, we didn’t think our plates would fit but they do Would recommend to anyone wanting a microwave. Thank you

Perfectly good microwave, looks good in the kitchen I’ve not used any feature or program it may have but for simple heating of food couldn’t ask for more.
Not a lot to say about a microwave, it heats up food well and also has a grill option.
Bought this after having a 700W cheap microwave. It’s good value for the price, this 900W microwave heats up food a lot quicker than my old microwave. There is also a metal rack for grilling, and although I’ve only used it once, the grill does heat up food quite quickly. The controls are touchpad and easy to clean and doesn’t take up much more space than my old microwave, so it’s ideal for a small kitchen worktop. It also has presets for heating coffee, pizza and making popcorn.

I got this item because it looks great and it is huge for the money. I used it against my old 750-800 Watts microwave and it is not as good as my old one. I did try different settings and type of food or beverage and it was always colder than the old microwave.
I am looking for something more powerfully than our old one and therefore i am going to return it back. I do recommended it if you are looking for a budget big 28l microwave.

Whoever decided to put the clock adjustment buttons next to the timer buttons needs to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror as it’s quite easy to press the clock adjustment button when adding cooking time, leading to all sorts of drama.

Whoever decided to put the clock adjustment buttons next to the timer buttons needs to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror as it’s quite easy to press the clock adjustment button when adding cooking time, leading to all sorts of drama.
This microwave performs well as expected. I haven’t used the grill function yet so can’t comment on that. Easy to clean. Build quality seems good. One small issue is with the button design. Easy to use
All my microwave ovens have been Sharps (although this is my first with a grill, which I have not yet used) and they just get better. Delivery was quick, it was well packaged and a pleasure to use.
Good Purchase
Does what it says on the tin. Had it for around 5 months now and no issues. Seems to evenly heat food and the quick start and increment of seconds and minutes is handy.
Can be a bit awkward on pressing the start button but may just be the position i have the oven placed.

Speed of delivery was excellent and I would recommend this item (with caveats).
Being a ‘family’ of two (SWMBO and “him”), and with our ‘old’ microwave ceasing to function three says ago, ordered this – and it arrived yesterday.
The manual was easy to follow – I (and “him”) now have another timer available in the kitchen :).
My only regrets are that the microwave rice pack we used today was too tall, so I had to ‘flatten’ it slightly (and will be the same with any other micro rice packs) and the splash guard we had for our old microwave is too big.
Otherwise (so far) wonderful.

Great value for the money
Bought this to replace previous SHARP model, that started rusting and flaking off. It lasted about 6 years so very good score, hoping this one can achieve the same level. I’ll update the review if that’s not the case but as it stands totally recommend SHARP microwaves 🙂
Does the job
The inside plate was the same size as my old microwave, so I was hopeful the inside would be the same size. It’s a bit smaller, but all my plates and dishes fit, so that’s good. As it is a 900w and my old one was 800w, it’s a bit different but it’s easy to work out the different times.
It Works
Bought to replace an aging microwave and for the occassional grilled cheese sandwich. I would nor recommend the grill for a fry up but for the odd toast it works nicely and the microwave is powerful an effective. Would recommend
Like the dimension, perfectly fit to our shelf. The setting is easy and simple. Three different functions (microwave, grill and combi ( grill and microwave). Cheaper price compare others with similar features.

works fine but the main thing I dislike is every time you use it you have to press the microwave select button. This should be the default button after all its a microwave not a toaster.
Basic but reliable
I bought this to replace another Sharp microwave which had begun to rust inside, but that was after 10 years at least. This has a grill element which I thought I would try. I mostly use a microwave for warming up, rather than cooking, and it doesn’t require a degree to work out how to programme it. It sits neatly on my work top without dominating it.
Overall the product is what I needed. Just a couple of issues that have taken away a star. The door opening button is so stiff and causes the microwave to move every time I open the door which is also loud on closing too. But the biggest issue I have is the display panel is so hard to see at night it would be better either illuminated or in a more reflective paint.

Really good microwave, very pleased with it.
Only minor downside is the door doesn’t sound very solid when it’s being closed, just a bit tinny.
Big Capacity and easy to use.
I wanted a big capacity microwave with a high energy. Didn’t really want the grill function but the price was good compared to other large capacity microwaves, so the grill is a useful bonus. However it does reduce the useable capacity in terms of height. once you twig that you have to press the “Microwave” button multiple times to get the lower energy settings it’s very easy to use. If you want to use multiple periods at different energy settings you have to open the door to change settings each time. Once you have finished, removed the food and closed the door, open and close the door again or, for some strange reason it will “ding” again after a few minutes. Disconcerting but not a problem.
It is very easy to use: It does jacket potatoes ,pizza in the microwave call up menus. It has a microwave timer; also a cook timer if you want to cook a range of items. Also grill & microwave combinations. I didn’t personally think that the grill was very effective ; ie a metal stand which you cannot put in a microwave! The grill stand should have been ceramic or heat resistant plastic ; able to withstand combined cooking.65 :- it was a good buy for the money ! The previous one was rusting around the door sill; might leak microwaves, so I got rid of it.

Really happy with the purchase, easy to clean, the grill is fast and the combi programs makes everything easier and faster.

A good looking microwave with timer and grill options which I have yet to use. Power strength is fine cooking most vegetables in 2 to 3 minutes. Easy to use with a good instruction booklet.
My 3rd Sharp microwave. The 1st was a big combination job, brilliant and long-lasting; 2nd was also a combination, but didn’t last very long. This time I decided I only needed a very simple one, but it had to be big enough to take my 30cm dinner plates. Bizarrely, this combination one was 20 cheaper than the simple one, so I went for it. I haven’t used most of its features, but it works fine for simple heating up, that being all I need it for, but it beeps excessively! The door button is easy to use, and it opens gently enough. One has to press the ‘microwave’ button before entering a time, which is pretty annoying – it should default to microwave – but the start button does default to 30 seconds microwave, and one can add to that with the time buttons, so not too difficult once one gets used to it.
It beeps every time I press any button, and five times at the end of the programme – and it won’t shut up if I immediately open the door, nor will it let me activate the Stop/Clear button while it’s beeping. If I neglect to take my food/drink out of the microwave, it beeps (twice) again five minutes later, which can be helpful, but it also beeps (twice) five minutes after I have taken it out! Why? What is the point of that? Mobile phones can be set for silent operation of keys, so why can’t we have a silent option on a microwave? (It should still beep at the end of the programme, but that’s the only beep I ever really need to hear from my microwave!) It is very annoying that I can’t use it quietly while husband is still asleep.
An extra press of the Stop/Clear button removes the time display, to save energy, but it would be better if this were handled by a ‘no time display’ setting, rather than having to press the key again after every use.

With other microwaves it’s easy to just blast and go and you have to be very cautious not to leave things too long whereas this one seems so steady and reliable, for example I defrosted 10 sausages and within 20 all were evenly and completely done without scalding and mushiness which is great.
The digital display is really easy to use – simply press the times you want in increments of 10 minutes or 1 minute, or in 10 seconds. I think the size may actually help with the cooking as there’s plenty of space inside. I’m really happy with this and glad I went with the reviews that make this the top selle

We decided to go for a 25 ltr and so bought this model, which also has a grill. it arrived sooner than expected and it didn’t take long before we were trying it out. It is worth reading the instructions before using it. We have not tried the grill out yet. It is bigger in size than our previous one but we are very happy with it.
