I knocked one star off just because it was kind of a pain to set up and get going. I included a picture of the directions on this Amazon page that made a huge difference in getting in up and running. The directions in the box aren’t helpful but the one one this page worked easily. Other than fighting with it to get started it works well and prints labels clear and quickly. I have an Etsy store which is why I really wanted a thermal label printer. It only comes with a few labels to get started but buying large packs of labels isn’t too expensive and since it’s thermal you don’t need to ever buy ink. For the price I definitely think it’s worth it if you have any type of online business. It will make shipping so much easier for me and my mom who helps me out with shipping.
The label printer comes in a plain buff card box. It is very compact, barely wider than the (6″x4″) labels that it takes. It si really space efficient compared to a standard home printer ( see photo). The printer comes with a pack of 10 labels to get you started and all the plugs and cables you might need. It also comeswith a small instruction booklet nad a pen drive that contains the drivers you need to enable the printer to work with Windows PC. The drive also contains Labelife software so that you can import PDF’s and crop to print. It also conatins other information and instructional tutorials on how to use the printer.
The printer can be used over bluetooth with Android so you can print from your phone wirelessly. If you want to print from a PC/Laptop with Windows then you need to plug a cable in to connect. The printer is not wifi enabled which is it’s main downside.
The printer has large easy to push buttons and is intuitive to use. Just turn on and feed a label in the back and the printer immediately recognises it and then prints as per your instruction. It is very quick and the image produced is super sharp and clear. The printer has little rubber feet so that it won’t move about whilst it speedily goes about its business. I love how you don’t need to buy ink. Great for label printing for a small business or seller on ebay/etsy/Amazon etc.
This is great. I’ve never really seen (or worked out) how thermal printers worked. It’s always been easier to just use my old smart printer for everything. However, my partner over the past year has been selling mountains of clothing and pottery via online auctions. I have constantly been printing off labels for her on my printer which is quite slow and laborious. It’s also very wasteful. A print-off using a printer for a shipping label uses an A4 sheet of paper, but only requires about a sixth of the page. Whilst we try and keep the paper for notes or our Son’s scribbles, it still feels like a waste of paper. Also, the amount of Sellotape she has been getting through is awful.
Then this Itari PM-241-BT thermal printer came along on Vine. ~159.99 at time of this review (though I note there is a discount coupon for 24 currently) is a lot of money for a printer in my opinion. But my goodness. I cannot believe I didn’t get one sooner.
First of all, the footprint of the thermal vs regular printers is TINY. I’ve attached a photo to try and demonstrate that. This makes it really easy to put in your office, spare room or wherever with minimal effect on space. They’re also lightning quick compared to a conventional black and white print. I’ve attached the video of me sending the .pdf label through to the printer, and from sending to fully printed is under a few seconds.
This printer came with a starting supply of twenty or so 4×6″ labels, which was enough to get us going, though we’ve since paired with a nice bulky 500 label stack, which should keep us going for the foreseeable future.
It’s pretty straightforward to setup – following the instructions to load the labels etc was easy. It doesn’t require a PC to be connected. We run ours 100% from smartphones, though there is a cable to USB if you wanted to run the printer from your desktop/laptop. You will require their app “Labelife” which you can set as your phone’s default .pdf viewer, so the labels always open there and are ready for cropping, or editing for prints.
It took a few dummy runs for me to get the prints correct, the easiest thing is the following:
Open the label .pdf document in Labelife > Click ‘Process PDF’ > Switch tab to ‘Crop PDF’ > Make sure you crop to the area you need printed > Click next > Set width to ‘4’ > Set height to ‘6’ (these may switch depending on orientation you require) > Check the preview looks correct > Click ‘Confirm’ > Click ‘Print’
I’ve found doing this consistently prints off labels correctly for standard shipping labels etc, but you may need to adjust slightly depending on your specific printing needs. I found the app to be quite user friendly, and once you get the best method memorised it’s super efficient to get your labels printed.
The main issue I’ve had with this printer is for some reason both mine and my partners phones (both Android if relevant) lose Bluetooth pairing with the printer, and when this happens the Itari printer no longer appears on the search for Bluetooth devices. If this happens to you, it’s very straightforward to fix – you simply click the power button on/off on the BACK of the printer (not the button on top). It’s a little annoying that this happens, but I don’t feel enough of an issue to remove a star.
When it comes to value, you’re essentially faced with the “up front” vs “long-term” costs of conventional printing. A thermal printer is undoubtedly more expensive up front, however, you don’t need to buy ink, paper, or mountains of Sellotape to affix your labels to packaging. Making a larger saving over time. I think this is a perfectly acceptable trade-off.
You could easily use this as a small business printer. I think it could easily deal with that volume. It can print in rapid succession if you needed multiple labels. I love that you don’t need to connect to anything more than a power source and your phone. It means you could take this with you, as it’s small enough to chuck in a backpack or case. As long as you can find some power you’ll have your labels on the move too.
There are a couple of different types of label that are compatible and I need to get the “tray” for mine, which just makes sure the labels are held more securely/efficiently. I’m using the flat stack labels – the same type that came with the printer. These cost around 20 for 500. I believe you can also use a label ‘wheel’ where the labels are on a round spool.
I am massively impressed. We’ve been using it solidly at least once a day over past ~six weeks, and haven’t faced any issues yet. The sound is pretty quiet, the print quality seems good (no smudging or blurs), it’s quick to print (at least three times quicker than my printer) and I just think it’s an all round amazing piece of tech to have in the home. Obviously this is primarily geared towards people who sell things online and need shipping labels, but similarly could be used to print smaller custom labels, QR codes etc. I’m not sure how this works, but there is a video on the product page that clearly shows this printer reeling off streams of small round labels as well!
I think it’s fantastic. Other than the Bluetooth connection dropping all the time, I don’t have any complaints. I’ve left this review as long as possible to see if any teething issues arise, but nothing has gone wrong. I don’t know how long a thermal printer should last, but assuming this keeps going for a few years, I think it’s a very worthwhile investment. Especially if you’re a small business, or hobby-seller/ebayer.

The printer itself has a plastic shell and feels reasonably well made. It has quite a small footprint, taking up just 21.3cm x 7.6cm on your work surface.
The printer was relatively easy to set up and get working on both Windows and Android. Not only are there the included printed instructions, but there are also several YouTube tutorials to help get you going if you get lost.
The software on both Windows and Android worked well, but are a bit rough around the edges at times.
In use the actual printing is fast, and the labels came out nice and clear. If you have a lot of address labels to attach to packages, it sure save a lot of time compared to printing them out, cutting them down to size and sticking them on by hand.
In conclusion this is a really useful label printer, that can used to quickly print labels in a variety of sizes. The software could certainly be a little more polished, but apart from that there isn’t much to complain about the printer itself. However at the time of writing this review (May 2022) the printer costs 169.99, which I can’t help feeling is a bit over priced for what you get. There is currently a voucher that takes 34 off this price, which probably puts it closer to what I would consider a reasonable price point. That being said, time is money, and if you are someone needing to print out a lot of labels, this printer will undoubtedly save you a lot of time.

The printer arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside a plain looking box. Along with the printer you get a power adapter, UK mains cable, USB printer cable, memory stick with the driver/software files, a Type-C adapter for the memory stick, the user guide, and a pack of 4×6 sticky labels.
I’m pleased with the overall quality of the printer and it’s a smart looking, compact unit. The device feels well made, it uses good quality materials, the buttons and switch work nicely, and it’s got rubber feet on the base which grip well to most surfaces. There is a button on the rear of the unit which opens the lid up for any required maintenance.
I’m using it with Windows 11 and the device drivers are required to be installed before you can use it. Thankfully, the included memory stick includes everything you need to get up and running including the drivers for different operating systems, the label editor software, help videos and guides. I was really surprised by just how much information is on the memory stick and it’s all very well written and genuinely helpful!
Once you turn the printer on you can insert a label in the back of it and it will detect the label and pull it through ready for printing. If your using multiple joined labels the printer will stop the label exactly along the perforated edge and you can use the built-in mini teeth to easily tear it off, ready for the next one. The button on top of the printer can also be used to manually feed the label through if required.
This is my second time using a thermal printer and I just love how sharp the labels come out, they look very professional, and the barcode lines are perfect. I normally just print my labels on an A4 printer and then tape them to the box after cutting them out, this machine saves you time and money by not requiring any ink or tape to stick the labels down.
The included Labelife software is actually pretty decent and well designed. It allows you to create your own labels and import PDFs to crop the selected areas that you need ready for printing. Of course, you don’t have to use this, all my other programs that support a print function also work great, with the only exception being Windows Photos which just won’t print but strangely Photo Viewer works just fine.
The printer is incredibly fast and can chuck out a label every second. As I mentioned before, the print quality is excellent with both text and images/barcodes coming out incredibly sharp and very black. If you run a home business or just send a lot of small to medium sized parcels, then this is an excellent way of printing your own labels.
Overall, I’m exceptionally pleased with this little printer, and not only do you get everything you need to get up and running but there is plenty of information included so you can get the best out of the printer and its software. It’s quite expensive compared with other similar brands but its good quality and I haven’t come across any issues with it so far, so you are getting a decent unit and it should save you a bit of money in the long run by not needing any ink.
It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!
Ordered this to print off the postage labels for my E-commerce business. It is brilliant once you set up properly. It was little bit complicated but absolutely worth it.

I like this label printer. I had some thermal paper laying around and I finally got the opportunity to make use of it with this printer. I set it up via the provided app in the App store and managed to pair it and get it running in three minutes. I then tried to crop a document, printed a copy, and it worked flawlessly. I also tried to print via my MacBook and it also worked flawlessly.
The printer is very compact and portable. It can even be transported to places easily if the nature of your work requires printing in different locations. I am very pleased and satisfied with the performance, and would definitely recommend it.

This is a excellent option if you want to print your own postage labels – or any 6×4 labels – small, compact and easy to use. The design is excellent, the printer solid and weighty, but not heavy. It’s barely wider than the 6×4 labels that go through it. Operation and functionality is good, with only one or two minor reservations.
The good thing is that it’s very easy to set up. Unfortunately, the printer instructions make it seem like harder work than it really is. Essentially, it’s only Bluetooth via Android, so that you can print directly from your smartphone. If you want to print from a Windows PC, laptop or other operating system, then you need to connect it to the printer via the cable provided. All you need is to install the driver – included on a small USB pen drive – and connect. Simple.
Being used to having all my devices on the home WiFi network, I was disappointed that this is not WiFi compatible so that I could connect to it from any device, but that’s just a minor issue for me.
In terms of actual printing it’s fantastic! When you switch it on and feed in the end of a deck of labels, it pulls one through and checks the size before realigning it. Send the print job to the queue and it prints fast and immediately. The quality is good and alignment can be adjusted, but that can be variable on the source and quality of the label to be printed (printing Amazon marketplace shipping labels doesn’t fit entirely perfectly).
One other minor niggle I had was the placement of the power input and the printer cable at the back of the printer. It’s hard to avoid this design on such a small device, but it does get in the way of the labels that also feed through from the back. It might be worth investing in a label feeder that sits above the cables.
There are 10 test labels provided, so you will need to purchase your own. Most seem to come in packs of 500. You need to make sure that they are for Thermal Label Printers, but I think most labels are suitable for this purpose. General self-adhesive labels seem to come in sheets rather than individual ones for thermal label printers.
Which brings me to the other great advantages of this thermal label printer. One – they are peel-off and sticky, removing the need to sellotape labels printed out on a regular printer – but secondly, unlike a regular printer, you never have to buy or replace expensive printer cartridges.
There are other slightly cheaper thermal label printers out there, but as far as quality of build and performance goes, this Itari model is superb and well worth the money.
This printer works great out of the box. Really easy to set up and get going within minutes. The app is also very intuitive and easy to use although the “manual label editing” feature is quite primitive and lacks features/functionality. However pdfs are a breeze to print on the standard 4″x6″ labels that come with the printer. I have tried other labels of smaller sizes (30mmx50mm white and 50mmx50mm transparent) with mixed results. The actual print always looks great but it can have difficulty detecting the edge between sticker and therefore will feed backwards endlessly, however when the printer is then opened and closed again the labels feed just fine and it get printed as intended.

This is much smaller than expected and so simple to set up with full instructions included, it connected easily to phone and printed clear postage label out.I ordered this for my daughter who sells home made jewellery and crafts online be so useful to online seller, needs no ink and no having to cut labels down like do with printer.Comparing to similar items seems very fairly priced and recommended
The printer is very compct and of goo build quality. It looks neat and discreet on my desk and is easy to access. It uses thermal paper so that saves considerably rather than having to replace ink catridges. The print qulity is clear and very good.
I seldom use my desktop computer now so it is very helpful and convenient to be able to download the app to my phone and work like that. The set up was easy and quite quick. Using the printer via bluetooth is such a help. The labels can be customiserd and the font/size adjusted if you wish. It is an easy-to-use machine and I’m pleased with it. It saves me a lot of time and hassle. The labels printed are clear and clean and the printer is good value for money.
I’m so impressed with this label printer. I’m a complete technophobe but found it incredibly straight forward to set up and operate.
As I will mainly be printing directly from my phone, my review is based on that and the app.
It’s simply a case of plugging it in and making sure the labels are inserted face up.
I downloaded the Labelife app which is basic but perfect for creating address labels from my phone. I was also able to download pdf files to the app, straight to print.
Printing is instant and clear. The labels simply tear off from the front of the machine. Connection to my phone was very straightforward via Bluetooth, directly through the app.
No negatives – wish I’d of ordered one sooner.

This is a really good thermal printer for labels. Not without some setup issues on my PC, but as a full timer office tool, its’s fast, economical to use and has an excellent print quality. The printer also comes with some 4X6inch labels ready to go, although you’re going to want some extras when you start using this.
The printer works either by BlueTooth or direct from the PC printer via its own driver that you have to set up. The Bluetooth version uses an app called Labelife. I initially made the mistake of looking for labelive. Ok, they are totally different apps, so be aware of that one.
The app is very straightforward to set up. it connects effortlessly each time I open it and the printer is on. It also provides several options for label sizing, print darkness (quality) and of course sizes. The last settings you used, always stay the default ones when it’s opened so multiple usages become much quicker.
The only issues, I had were with the copious amount of instructions and details that come on the USB stick that’s in the kit. All the videos and documents were ok, but the one problem was with an included piece of software called Labelife_Setup_v1.6.1.1201 (209mb) in the Label Editor folder for Windows. I assumed that this was the PC App version of Labelife for android.
I installed this on my windows 10 PC but it refused to run, even after a successful installation. I subsequently discovered that the printer driver (for windows) would actually print directly to the printer without an application, except that there are limited options to modify or crop the print label, as I have in the app version.
Nonetheless, it prints extremely fast and efficiently, with a 4X6 inch postage label in less than1 a second. Peel the backing off, stick it on, job done! A very competent and professional label printer. Recommended
This printer was delivered quickly and in good quality packaging. As soon as it arrived, I downloaded the app on my phone and connected it, that’s pretty much all you have to do and then printing the actual label is a piece of cake.
I found it super useful for me, I print out labels a lot and having to use my big printer is a lot of work and it can be quite annoying. This one saved my life and it is so much easier to use. The print quality is good and the printer itself is a good size and works well too.
All you have to do when it’s printed is peel it off and stick it, and you’re done!
Overall, works really well, is definitely worth the price, and I highly recommend it.

There is nothing to dislike about this printer. It really is a premium device. You can tell from the weight for such a compact device. I love how fast it prints and the quality is superb too, coupled with the fact you can print on a variety of platforms, you really can’t go wrong with this thermal label printer.

A very well priced little thermal laser printer which puts, some, larger, pricier and reputation-backed label printers to shame.
It does everything I need it to and very simply. Setup is straightforward, they explains the steps very well. If you prefer an online tutorial, this is available too.
The ‘Labelife’ App (one ‘l’) is downloadable on Google Play or App Store. again simple and fuss-free functionality. It might take a couple of attempts to connect via bluetooth, which you do by inputting a short pin. We do love that we’re able to use the printer, just like our expensive Lexmark, through our smartphone via bluetooth. Though I need to be near the label printer. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to connect over a wifi signal.
Through the App, I’m an]ble to chop an cage the image, even zoom in and crop labels and logos to my exacting requirements. This is quit helpful when im printing business labels displaying my logo and contact details. I’m even able to import labels from Facebook and other social media platforms.
Printing multiple labels is quick and smooth. The unit is also quite quiet so I can continue on phone and Zoom calls with minimal disruption.
I love the smooth interface, the quick setup and the ability to connect via Bluetooth. Labels print well and the quality of the prints is excellent for the price.
Though, it is a shame it doesn’t have wifi capability, meaning I have to be near the unit to connect wirelessly over bluetooth.

This is a thermal shipping label printer with support for bluetooth/mobile app. The setup took about 10mins on a mac and I was up and ready to print 4″x6″ royal mail label from eB@y.

Overall, if you are a part time seller on popular selling platform like eB@y, then will be a real time saver when it comes to printing online postage labels. No more printing on laser A4 paper, then cutting as gluing on package. For me, it’s a game changer.
This little thermal label printer is brilliant, it will save me so much time not having to repeatedly write out address labels, I can’t believe how small it actually is, I have included a photo with a standard sized pen for comparison.
This compact size not only makes this super cute but also incredibly practical, it takes up so little space you can fit it almost anywhere, you could also transport this much easier than the standard old printers should you need to.
It’s practically foolproof to install & use, there a couple of power cables supplied & clear instructions included, the label app is free to download & very easy to use, you can also watch a YouTube tutorial video for additional support if you’re having any technical issues during this process.
It’s incredibly easy to operate, there is a large switch located at the back which opens the top part for easy access in the event that your labels run out, become lodged or misaligned during printing.
I believe you can also use alternative platforms such as Canva should you choose, though they now charge a monthly fee so I have stuck to the free “Labelife” app which has been created for this machine.
The “Labellife” app is available to download on both phone & tablet devices, I have tried both to see if one performed better than the other & found that they worked equally well on both.
You can easily edit & add text, fonts & pictures to your labels or adjust the size & alignment of your text using the app, a small pack of labels come supplied with the printer.
I love that this will last much longer than the previous standard ink based printers as there’s much less to go wrong with it, it also does not constantly consume ink cartridges, belts etc, the only thing you have to add is the labels.
The labels look much more professional than my previous handwritten envelopes, the text is also much clearer to read which hopefully should result in less items going array in the post, all in all this is a cracking bit of kit that I can’t wait to use again.
I got this to print postage address labels and it does it very well, no ink required, I print from my tablet over bluetooth and it works like a charm, very neat little unit, sharp clear printing, it comes with everything you need to get going out of the box, its very easy to get started and it prints quickly and precisely, no more ink problems or waiting for printer etc, it is rather expensive but it does do the job very well, pleased with it so far and would recommend if you do a lot of label printing as it saves time and money as it just needs labels.
f like many people you’ve started a small business from home during lockdown or you find yourself printing return labels more than ever, it might be time to start thinking about investing in a label printer such as this one. I checked it out to see how it would do.
First impressions were reasonable – the printer itself is relatively easy to set up and looks reasonably but not totally as well built as it perhaps could be. The software is fine, it’s a little unpolished around the edges which can make things tricky but I managed to get my phone connected and set up with the printer quickly nonetheless.
Once set up you have the option from a computer of using it as a normal printer, using the software provided or connecting to one of many different online shopping platforms that are supported. From your phone you can use the labelife app to create labels or as I found most useful to crop elements of a PDF to be printed. The quality of the labels that come out is reasonable and the printing process is pretty quick.
Overall then this is a decent thermal label printer despite the fact it could be a bit more polished in places.
This device is amazing, I love the design which is really slim and compact than I’d have expected. The printer is well made and dead easy to set up. 1) download the app on your phone 2) plug the printer 3) you’re ready to go! I was able to connect it from my iPhone using Bluetooth in just a minute. I also love the fact that you can use different size of labels to print pretty much anything. Completely impressed by the rapidity of it processing multiple prints (check out the video). Can only recommend this product thank you!
I regularly use a label printer which requires being connected to my computer using a USB cable – what I like about the Itari printer is that it can be printer on using only bluetooth, making label printer a lot more convenient and easy.
The labels feed really smoothly through the printer – even printing multiple labels in one go, it prints really fast/quickly.
Set up was fast, simple and really easy to do – I was able to start printing labels in a matter of minutes. The LabelLife app allows you set up the printer, but also allows you to customise different print options and settings. The app is available on both the Android Play Store and Apple App Store.
The overall quality of the printer is great, I like the fact that it uses thermal printing which means you do not have to keep buying ink/tape. Therefore, this printer can most certainly save you money – making it more cost effective to print in the long run.
The printer itself is very compact, it can sit on my desk without taking up too much space – it’s rectangular design is simple and very smart looking.
I have only tried printing with 4X6 thermal labels, and I highly rate the print quality – address labels and barcodes print really well, they’re clear and barcodes are scanner friendly.
It just feels like a quality piece of kit – great build quality and feels like it will stand up to daily use.
