How long should I leave my rolled mattress before sleeping on it?
You should unroll your rolled mattress on a bed in a warm room 24 hours before use. By placing it in a warm room, the mattress recovery time will be faster. You should not remove the cover until it has been left 24 hours.
Will my mattress smell?
It’s quite normal for new mattresses to have a slight odour when it is unpackaged, however it is nothing to worry about and by airing the mattress, you will find that any odours will pass.
How do I clean my mattress?
We always recommend using a mattress protector. You should not use detergents or chemical cleaners on your mattress as this may damage the fabric and stitching. Please do not remove the cover to clean the mattress, the cover is not removable.
Can I roll up the mattress for storage?
We use specialist equipment to roll a mattress in our factory. Please do not attempt to bend or re-roll your mattress yourself.

Silentnight Easy Living Comfort Rolled Foam Mattress
This sort of mattress where it’s made of some type of foam and it comes rolled up in a bag seems to be the ‘in’ thing at the moment. There a lot of different types available, most of them with some friendly sounding name or another. I was looking forward to trying one out to see what they were like, so I took the chance on this one when it came along.
It arrived pretty much as expected, rolled up in plastic and inside a cardboard box, and was in good nick. When I got it out of the bag it unrolled pretty much as advertised, and I had no issues with shape or anything. There is a slight chemical smell from it, but it will fade relatively quickly, and putting a sheet on will block it out. In terms of comfort, it’s a little on the firmer side, which I like, but some people may not. I’ve been sleeping on it for several months now with no problems, and I haven’t felt the need to put a topper on it like I have with previous mattresses. There is a slight issue I’ve had where when I wake up the mattress has sunk somewhat towards the head end, but it seems to recover its shape through the day, so I’m not too bothered by it.
I’m sure that one of the memory foam ones is probably more comfy, but this one is still pretty comfy for the price.
It came rolled into quite small packet which was great as it didn’t take too much space. It was also very easy to take it down to our bedroom.
We left it for the whole day to make it get to its shape and were able to sleep on it at night.
It is nice and comfortable mattress, however I prefer thicker mattresses.

This is a leading brand of mattresses so I had prior high expectations and it didn’t disappoint this mattress is of excellent quality.
it has a memory foam layer and is extremely comfy and of medium firmness, it does arrive rolled up so you will need to unwrap and then leave for a few hours for it to inflate to its full size.
it comes with a three-year guarantee for added peace of mind I’m very happy with this and would definitely recommend it.
A very supportive and comfortable mattress for a spare single bed. Very comfortable for side-sleepers with enough hip support for a really good nights sleep. Smells “new” for a couple of nights, but certainly not overpowering. A lovely item.
This is an excellent mattress came in as rolled in a bag and was easy to set up. after few hours of relaxing in open it was easy to use and is an excellent for a good nights sleep.
Its a memory foam and also temperature is regulated so it doesn’t feel too hot inside even when you are inside a quilt , so my nights are very comfortable since I got this. and it is perfect in size for a double bed. So definitely recommended.
I was amazed at this mattress. It arrived with nice package. When I opened it, the mattress was still sealed inside the plastic bag and immediately floated back to the normal size. It fits my double bed perfectly. Soft and comfy memory support. No wonder people are into good brand. Silent night is definitely a good and trustworthy brand.
Loving this mattress so far. Silentnight memory foam mattress far exceeded my expectations. It’s my first memory foam mattress so takes getting used to, but really comfy and a lot lighter than my old sprung mattress. It’s soft enough in places where it needs to be, but firm enough, with comfortable support for both my partner and myself. For me it is very very comfortable. If you are used to foam mattress, you should love this. Mattress is very good quality.
When I was a small person, we used to have these packs of tiny little paper balls which, when you added water, would blossom into lovely paper flowers. This mattress irresistibly reminded me of those. It arrived in a small bag a bit over a meter tall (I think) and rolled up in a snail-tight spiral. It looked much too small to be a double mattress. But, once freed from its restraints, it swelled, filled and plumped itself up to perfect double-bed size.
To begin with, I found that it seemed to squash down a little overnight in the place where I slept, but looking back I wonder if that was more that I was not used to a pure memory foam mattress because it has a different feel to the more traditional kind. But if you have not slept on one before do allow yourself to find it a little different. Not at all uncomfortable, just different.
So a couple of weeks on what can I say?
The manufacture quality of this mattress is excellent. It is a very comfortable mattress and I have been sleeping really well on it. The doubts I had around it being pure memory foam with no pocket springs have not materialised and I am very happy with it indeed.

I absolutely love this mattress. It came in a relatively small rolled-up package that was easy to hold and carry to the bedroom. I opened it up, unwrapped it and allowed it to breath for a few days so it could expand to its proper size.
When I put it on the bed I was amazed at how comfortable it is and it really felt great.
I’ve been sleeping on it for a couple of weeks now and I’m still very impressed! Excellent choice!

Silent night are a great brand for a mattress. This shows in the quality of the mattress.
It is very soft to the touch and is made well. When it is first received it is very compact and rolled so it is easy to carry up the stairs. Once opened I was worried that it wasn’t going to be big enough to be a full mattress and more of a mattress topper, how wrong I was. It plumped up nicely and provided a good support for my back.
It isn’t as thick as some mattresses but does the job perfectly without the need to be thicker.

Memory foam mattresses like this work well and provide good support. It comes rolled up which makes transporting it where you want it easier although beware, it is very heavy! I wouldn’t like to have to move it once it’s all unwrapped. My only issue with these mattresses really is that they are rather thin depth-wise and thus fitted bottom sheets don’t fit too well, instead they bunch up a bit. But this is a minor issue really..
A mixed review as although this mattress was most things advertised it purely wasnt for me and definitely didn’t do my back any good.
Quality of mattress was excellent in terms of material, double size was true and ‘memory’ function was great although it was just far too soft and spread out around edges. Would best suit a set in bedframe where mattress would be contained rather than just ontop.
A little disappointed as although i know memory foam is a softer material, this is advertised as medium firm which i feel is the selling point of this type of purchase.
Came well packaged as it was rolled up and then wrapped in durable plastic. Kept it it good condition and clean.

The mattress comes well packaged and needs 24 hours when opened to fully expand. When used on its own seems good for use on childrens bed or with someone of slim build. It felt good for me teenager but for me as a heavier person didn’t feel thick enough somehow and give good overall support. When placed on top of an existing mattress this has worked well for me providing good support (but then need deeper fitting sheets).
We ordered this Easy Living Plus memory-foam mattress by Silentnight as a replacement for one of the Company’s Miracoil 7 mattresses which was the best part of ten years old. Our old sprung mattress had given us many years of good service but was beginning to show it’s age — the foam mattress offers a different level of support which took a bit of getting used to. The mattress arrives rolled and compressed in a relatively small package making it easier to transport and manoeuvre once indoors — it can be carried upstairs easily by one person. Out of the packing the mattress expands to it’s full size making you wonder how it actually fitted in there — but it can take a couple of days to expand fully. This mattress can be used with most types of standard bedframe, and is available in three sizes on the same Amazon product page. We have the standard double, measuring 135cm by 190cm which is 20cm thick, and currently around two hundred and seventy pounds from Amazon — a single and a king size are also available. The Easy Living Plus is a decent medium-comfort mattress at the price but if you have not slept on a memory-foam mattress before you might need to allow up to thirty days to let your body adjust to the experience. The mattress is conveniently rolled up for transport and to take this upstairs and put into the bedroom where this is to be used. A high-quality mattress with a thickness of 16 cm-17 cm. The inside is a foam memory mattress. Because of its thick thickness, the entire mattress is not soft, but it is also not very hard. The outside of the mattress has a knitted shell, which is comfortable and soft to the touch, with a lattice pattern, and the mattress is wrapped with a zipper. The fine workmanship is perfect.
The mattress was rolled up when I received it, and it didn’t even take 24 hours. I lay on it to rest after 5 hours.
The mattress has no peculiar smell, or a little peculiar smell is wrapped in the sheets, but I did not smell it.
Usually, I go for a firmer mattress. But I thought I would give it a go. And I am so glad I did. soft comfortable, but still firm enough.I am sleeping much better, without tossing and turning and more importantly, my knees are supported.
What a difference this mattress makes – it’s unbelievable!! I now sleep right through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day.
Compared to similar mattresses it is also relatively cheap making it very good value for money! This mattress is definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a very comfortable, well built mattress on a low budget.I am 6 ft tall and it fits me really well without too much overhang.

This mattress arrived so tightly wrapped and well packaged I was wondering how good it would be once unpacked but it’s amazing, the tightly rolled and bagged packing made it easy to get upstairs and into my spare room, then once I opened it up you could watch it expand and within about an hour it was full sized and looked like any normal mattress, I gave it overnight to be sure and then decided to give it a go, it was on my spare bed so its sitting on just a basic wooden frame but it was still so soft and comfortable, its firm when you first lie down but as it moulds to your body you get a very good well supported night’s sleep.
Overall, Its amazing and I absolutely love it and will now be getting a king sized one for my main bed.
This is a foam mattress with a memory foam layer on the top. In terms of firmness, this is rated at medium. It arrived in a compressed vacuumed roll up bag. Very compact, similar to my Eve mattress experience. It took about another 6 hours to return to its factory mattress depth and for the foam to return to normal state. The recommendation was to wait for 24hours.
Things I liked:
* 20 cm depth of sheer comfort (thickness)
* good support during sleep
Things I disliked:
* strange “chemical” odour ( I did notice after 3days, the odour was no longer noticable)
* medium firmness (personally, I found it closer as medium-soft than medium-firm)
Overall, this memory foam mattress is much better than my old coil pocket sprung mattress but not as good as the Eve mattress (which is medium-firm).
So so comfy, best nights sleep I’ve had when I put this mattress on the bed.
Always been a bit skeptical of rolled up mattresses but first impression of this from Silentnight is very positive.
This was a double mattress & arrived tightly rolled and vacuum packed. The package about as big as the distance from the floor to a typical door handle.
Take it to the room you are going to use it in as once you unwrap it it does expand quickly.
Sizes immediately unwrapped on this one were 194 long x 136 wide x 14cm thick.
Leaving the mattress for about 6 hrs & it expanded already to almost 20cm.
The info that arrived with it says leave up to 24hrs to fully expand.
Just lying on it after a short time you immediately feel cossetted by the memory foam sinking in slightly.
I cannot yet comment on longevity – you only rotate these mattresses not turn them as the memory foam is only on one side.
I’d also suggest getting a mattress protector as the cover is stated as non removable (although it has a zip) – I dont think theres anyway anyone would get the insides back in…
First memory foam mattress & really looking forward to this & will try to update after a few weeks / months how well it lasts – so only 4* for now.

This mattress comes rolled in tightly is lots of plastic, this made transporting it around my house easy and also kept the mattress clean and untouched by any dirt during its transportation.
It is still heavy but I was able to manage it alone by just going slowly and carefully as I positioned it in my bed and cut away the plastic to let the mattress lie flat on the bed frame, your then advises to leave it to settle for 24hrs.
Be careful when cutting away the plastic as there is several layers and would be easy to get carried away and cut through the plastic and damage the mattress beneath.
There was a noticeable chemical smell, this is normal with these types of mattresses and the smell had disappeared by the next day.
I was immediately stuck by how thick the mattress is, with it coming rolled it wasn’t expecting it to be as big as it was but it really does puff out.
My first night in it was heaven, I’ve never slept on a memory foam before and I can see I’ve been missing out on some great quality sleep.
It’s the right balance between soft and hard, you feel supported and cushioned at the same time.
For a very long now now I’ve been waking up with aches and pains in my shoulder and back, I just assumed it was my pillow but I don’t adjust to new pillows very easily so I’ve just learnt to live with it.
After only one night on this mattress I noticed I was feeling a lot looser and less achy then normal, and a few days even further on they are entirely gone!
So it was my mattress causing me all these problems this whole time.
By far the best mattress I’ve ever slept on, I won’t look back now it’s memory foam mattresses all the way for me.
