This ways bought to replace my old Big Shot, which was still in great working order albeit well used after eight years.
I particularly like the fact that the base plate and shims on this new version are separate.
The big Shot is great value for money and I’m sure it will last as long as the last model.
Really good value for money especially with the extra goodies that came with it, sturdy and well packaged.

New to this craft & found the procedure a bit complicated to start with had to tune in to you tube ,still managed to damage the cutting plates slightly but still useable.
I like this machine because I can it use any die from thin ones to the big steel rimmed ones.

THIS SIZZIX MACHINE AND BUNDLE WORKS VERY WELL AND THE PRICE IS EXCELLENT.
Having wanted a die cutter for ages I finally took the plunge and I’m not disappointed. It does just what it says on the tin – cuts dies! They cut cleanly and very easily, needing little skill ! Good price- the only thing I have to do now is build up my collection of dies which can bring the cost up dramatically.
My wife is very happy with this machine, she sits for hours every day making her baubles and bows and that leaves me time for pottering about in the garde

Got this for my daughter with needs she wanted to make her own cards etc I had no idea what it was but she asked for one she loves it keeps her quiet for hours which is a bonus for me it’s fairly easy to use once youve got the hang of it and can get so many cutters to go with it. It folds up nice a tidy so doesn’t take up a lot of room either a very good purchase
The big shot arrived the next day.
I put it to work straight away, making the two little boxes from the dies that came in the package. It is such a relief to have a machine which will cut dies without the plates warping. I purchased the Big Shot after having great disappointed with the Gemini machine bought for me for Christmas. (The plates started to warping and were affecting the card being cut, leaving impressions of previous cuts!)
One thing I think could improve the Big Shot is to chamfer the edges of the cutting plates so they’ll feed in more easily.
This is definitely great value for money. I am confident that it will serve me well.

I have a very old 6″ big shot with really wore plates so when I saw this 9″ with extras I decided it was time for a upgrade as I love my old one so much. It came in time but unfortunately the packing box was damaged. Overall a great new purchase.

Excellent service delivered sooner than expected. I have 3 electric die cutting machines but wanted a manual one. This is a fantastic machine and easy to use, plates are labelled clearly so you know what order to make your cutting sandwich in.
I’ve never used one of these before and this one was priced well. It was very easy to use with excellent results. I have used frameluts snd thinlets and bigz all with good affect. No snagging or tearing. It is bulky to store, about the size of a shoe box and weighty. ( but it is essentially a weighted roller so it has to be). I would def by again. Good value, easy to use and great results.
I’ve had the regular sized cutter for a while but somehoe managed to order a die for the A4 machine. I could have returned the die but I decided to upgrade instead. The bigger dies – in this case a box template – are much more useful ratherthan just decorative so with the amount of them I’ve just cut, this machine has more than paid it’s way already. Just as simple to use as the standard, I recommend upgrading.
Easy to use, easy to set up, tried it out straight away and it cuts through card,paper and adhesive foil paper perfectly with the sissix dies that arrived in the starter kit. Looking forward to using it for all my card making needs

Lovely machine so much bigger than my previous one though, it is very heavy but I can do so much more with it. Obviously takes up more room, but quite often do my cutting on the floor now by my chair.
I like the smaller as well as the larger cutting machines. It’s handy for smaller dies and more portable. Thoroughly recommend it. No matter how you rotate the plates they still bow.
Got this for Christmas, haven’t done much with it yet, it seems to work fine, I’ve used it on card and vinyl so far, can’t wait to do more
Overall I have loved using the Sissix machine to make all my Christmas cards this year and I’m sure I shall continue to make more greetings cards and embellishments for scrapbooking etc. I have a couple of negative comments about the plates between which the cutters and paper are fed into the machine: the dies cut into these plates and they soon become very scored: the top plate bends as it goes through the machine and stays that way: the side of the thinner plate has become rough and a bit chewed as it passes through the machine.
Excellent addition to my crafting room. I can use it for numerous types of crafts and for many purposes. I initially bought it to make cut out large felt shapes for Christmas garlands but am now using it on shrink plastic to make jewelry and accessories.
It is very easy to use! All you need to do when you take it out of the box is attach the handle! And then you’re ready to cut!
This price is very VERY good as the US Amazon charges nearly twice the price for the same thing! They retail for well over $100(80) in shops here in Ireland and the UK. If you’re a crafter, it’s the best 50 you’ll ever spend!

I had an old big shot well worn over 8 years old. A gear broke on it and the only replacement gear I could source was from Russia!!! This Machine cost only a little more than the price of the gear and it was from the UK.
It is reconditioned and came with new plates and platform.
I am so pleased with this purchase and will happily use this seller again .

Well it’s simple to use; good to fold away – not sure how long the cutting pads will last as they get etched straight away! Rubbish dies that come with it tho; small heart, flower parts, twig, larger hearts, flower parts, twig and butterfly. If you’re ordering this may aswell get some dies at the same time! Have ordered plenty off various sites and will see which work with this machine. Useful for my new card range.

Ordered through Amazon. Great item which is well made though the clear plates do get badly marked and become slightly misshapen very quickly. I was pleased I had read other reviews on Amazon otherwise this would have worried me.
So while personally have not used it, based on her comments I can confidently say it was money well spent!
love this machine, it is my second one, had the first for years + so thought I would get another just in case. I cannot fault the Big Shot Plus at all, it is a great machine, I have a electric one also but go bag to my Big Shot all the time and my friend has just bought one also. I have yet to find a die that will not cut on this machine

Bought for a friend and she is delighted with it.
This has become an invaluable part of my craft room. So easy to use for cutting my dies and embossing my cardstock. Just the right size for what i need and i cant recommend this highly enough!
Pretty good for giving effective decorations for cards scrap books etc…. but should have shopped around ….. could have saved myself 50 and had next day delivery …. buyer beware!
Only problem I have is the plate that goes on to your bottom plate and before your clear A plate is that the sides of plate (plastic)seem to curl up either side and it keeps getting stuck in the roller part so I will have to replace it very soon or the problem is just going to get worse and I wont be able to use it at all
Used it to make Valentine’s Day cards and will be using it for baby cards, birthdays and anything and everything! It cuts dies so we’ll and gives amazing impressions of embossing folders.
I’m still excited about it and it’s been almost 3 months lol

The machine is excellent… but available box dies appear not to make full use of the large platform of this particular product most appear to be suitably generic to all machines across the range (small to large) hence they tend to be on a miniature scale… larger selection of large box dies need to be available to make it worth buying this product.
I love that it is small and easy to store. It cuts through lots of material. I am just learning but I am having a good time with this little treasure. I highly recommend it.

I am so happy. Love my machine. I cannot unerstand why I didn’t buy this one in the first place. Wide mouth and long plated for those large dies A4 and even bigger, and of course deep for the Bigz dies. Believe it or not IT IS quicker than an electric. Yes it’s a big machine so takes up more counter space but so worth it.

For bigger scrap booking projects and card making, this product is great! Just get your card, get your die and sandwich them in the plastic sheets and away you go! Great product at a great price (I researched them before making the purchase, the A5 was slightly less in price)
It comes with 1 Platform, 1 Thin Die Adapter and 1 Pair of Standard Cutting Pads. The dies are widely available on Amazon etc, with lots coming from China at silly price ranging from 99p upwards but well made and as good as you can buy for 3 times the price at craft shops. Go on treat yourself!
Although I have numerous die cutting machines the Big Shot is by far the best.
Why did I not buy one of these before??? This machine is fantastic. It even cuts thin felt . . . so no more fiddly cutting out numbers for advent calendar. I am really pleased with my purchase and can highly recommend. Still experimenting and excited like a child at Christmas – the possibilities that come with this machine are endless. Very, very happy customer.

I think this is overpriced considering the simplicity of the mechanism – it’s basically just a small mechanical mangle. It would be better if there was some kind of stabiliser either side of the compressing roller to keep the plastic plates from bending so much over time and use, and it’s a shame that the plates get so spoilt by the dies, which get actually embedded in the plastic. Other than that, it does what it’s meant to do. Sissix dies are very pricey, so you need to have lots of use for each one to make this an economical way of producing shapes.
Awesome product! I love it and recommend it to all card artists. You can make baby shower items from Cards, Gift bag toppers, borders, Paper Flowers, etc. The versatility of this machine allows me to expand my creativity and increase production. With the additional size you can cut a number of dies at the same time, so it saves time and energy. Nice starter bundle.

I have only just started my crafting hobby and I must say that although I know absolutely nothing about these little gadgets I’m loving my Big shot. It’s very easy to use and seems to cut any dies. I don’t really have any criticisms. It is well worth the 55 and would definitely recommend it. A sample die included would have been nice though.
I am having so much fun with this big shot it’s an amazing bit of kit a must have for all crafters. The things you can make are endless . When I first used it I noticed a bit of a cracking sound but that’s perfectly normal just view the videos that come with the dies and it tells you all you need to know. It comes with all the plates to start but you will need some dies and card to make your craft .

Excellent. Sturdy, great reliable results. Options of what to make are endless, I look forward to experimenting! Card making is main option, but I look forward to experimenting with thin fabrics for sewing projects too. Cutting leaves marks on plates, but I guess that’s inevitable. Can’t comment on durability otherwise as haven’t had it long.

This product is ready to use straight out of the box, all of the cutting dies work perfect only for the Butterfly die which has to be rolled back and forth through the machine two or three times.
This is my first time giving card making a try and I was surprised at the size of the two plates which is used to sandwich the card and cutting dies, although it’s an ok size for a beginner like me. They are quite small. But over all a good product for a beginner.
Really great machine. Still learning how to use it in all the different ways but well worth getting the starter pack so you have something to use straight out the box.

I bought it as a present for my sister and she is so pleased with it!!! It works perfectly and its size allows her to carry out projects she couldn’t make before. The package and delivery were correct although it arrived two days after the due date.
I was given an XPRESS craft machine it only worked about 6 times, not well then broke. My. Sizzix replaced it and it has been so good.
There’s not enough hours in a day for me to play wiv this, can’t wait to get home from work to get going on it.
