Finally got some walking boots that I can keep on and not just be thinking about getting them off!

My husband has a very hard time finding Wide shoes that fit well and that he can work in all day. He was very happy with the Skechers boots, the look and the fit….with the fit being most important to him! haha

I have done lot of daily walking with my dogs over the years and gone through numerous pairs of hiking boots, some were very expensive. I need boots that are wide fitting and they are not easy to find. These boots out do all my previous boots. They are extremely comfortable, waterproof and wide fitting. I would have no hesitation in recommending these first class boots.
Good price for quality. Feels lite in the feet. Comfy to wear for long periods.
I have wide feet. These fit right away and felt good. Did not need any break in. I have had these for about a month and have added some extra cushion pad inserts to make them even more comfortable. The mid height boot gives me good ankle support. No complaints so far.

Immediately comfortable. Great shoe. Am ex military, do the hooks didn’t bother me any. To me they allow for a tighter fit on the ankle.
I use these when sawing wood with chain saw. They are comfortable and keep say dust out of boots. They were quite reasonable and work great.
Perfect fit for my wide feet. After 6 months of ‘average’ day-to-day use, these boots are none the worst for wear. Moreover, the only negative is that they are a little heavy compared to your average trainers, but then they do negotiate tough terrain so much better than your average pair of trainers, whilst offering your ankles full support. Still highly recommended though – especially for the price l paid which was 64!

I am very happy with these. I sometimes find these boots can chafe around the top of the ankle, especially when new, but these have been comfortable from day one (owned for a couple of months now) and good value for the casual walker.
Second pair of these and both as good as each other.
I am a great fan of this shoe. I bought a pair at a mall outlet 3 years ago and wore the heels down so I decided to buy another pair. I was not disappointed. The shoe fits beautifully and corresponds exactly to my size. It is well cushioned, stable, grips the ground well, is long-lasting , and waterproof. For the price it is a real bargain. I have yet to buy a Sketcher shoe that has disappointed me. There are more expensive shoes of this type but for everyday wear, walking, and outdoor activities, these perform very well.
I have only had these boots about three weeks and I used them for walking on snow and ice covered trails. I did use ice cleats, so I cannot comment on the normal grip qualities. I ordered a regular sized 10 and they fit perfectly. They are very light and offer good warmth while walking in -10 temperatures. So far so good.
Skechers ha realizzato degli ottimi scarponi per il trekking. Sono realizzati con ottimi materiali. Anche l’estetica bella. Sono in memory foam e comodi da indossare e non affaticano i piedi. Sto usando la TG 42,5, il peso di ciascuna scarpa di circa 580 gr. Un consiglio, poich la Skechers fa scarpe anche con mezzi numeri, tipo 40,5 – 42,5 etc, magari sarebbe opportuno acquistare scarponi con mezzo numero in pi rispetto alla misura usuale in quanto poi sarebbe bene indossare calze per il trekking che sono pi spesse.
Very good tread on the sole making them ideal for walking in normal or muddy conditions, but not much grip on icy surfaces.
I have taken these on two hikes so far, one 8-mile and one 5-mile, and I have to say these are worth every penny. First, comfort. These shoes are very comfortable, they have breathable insoleand provide plenty of cushion for a long trek. I typically wear a 12, 12 1/2 or 13 depending on who makes the shoe and it has to be wide to be comfortable. I ordered the 12 wide in these and my feet are singing! As far as protection from the elements, I did not slip on any surface I hiked on, my feet stayed dry and something I found really interesting, when hiking in mud, the mud did not become this giant muck that stuck to the shoe. In my experience, hiking in mud will cause it to stick to your shoe until your have to kick off giant hunks of it. Not these. It may be due to the design on the bottom but I had very little mud stuck in the grooves on the shoes. Because these are leather, they are super flexible. Some shoes use a hard plastic to protect from the elements and that will cost you comfort. I was very happy that was not the case here. I have one small gripe in that the shoelaces that came with the shoes are not long enough to secure the ankle part of the shoe and you will need to swap those out if you want the boots to be snug. It’s a small gripe and an inexpensive swap and doesn’t take away anything from these boots. I will definitely reorder once I’ve hiked the soles off!

These boots were not as comfortable as others Skechers products I’ve had but these are the first high boots I’ve tried and I hope they feel better with wear. They are a quality product that may not just suit me.

I bought these because I live in the snow belt of North east Ohio. They’re waterproof. They take a bit to break in but are comfortable.

Excellent boots, so comfy, didn’t take any braking in at all, did 3 miles as straight out the box and had were like walking on clouds. I’d go as far as saying they were more comfy as any pair trainers I own. Would recommend 100%

These were not for me so I cant really comment they are a Christmas present . However I do trust the sketchers brand.
Seems to be a half size too small, but boot looks great, don’t appear to do an 11.5 UK size so will have try another option 🙁

I maintain 67 inground pools a week 52 weeks out of a year and have been for almost a decade. I do everything from maintaining them to service and repair, drain, and cleaning, including waste vacuuming.
I have worn everything from Keens to you name it, and none of them held up longer than three months.
You only think being on concrete all day long doesn’t impact a boot; try tending to inground pools all the year round and get back to me.
Of all the boots I have ever worn in the field and camping for that matter, these were the only ones to last a full year.
They keep my feet warm and dry as advertised.
I do buy two because, and this is why I contemplated giving them a 4 Star rating; sometimes (like twice in a decade), a pair of boots is not equal to the other pair, and they will only hold up for six months, and sometimes (Once in a decade) a pair will have a defect.
Hence me giving them a 5 Star rating. That is not a bad average.
Returning them has never been an issue, and when both pairs are as they should be, I keep them both.
I know they are advertised as a hiking boot, but for what I do for a living, they are bar none hands down the best damn boot I have ever put on my feet for the money.

Caught my ankles slightly at first but got more comfortable the more I walked
his is my second pair of the same type of shoes the first pair lasted for ca 8 months or 4000 km (2500mi) and 3 pair of shoelaces. The comfortable fit makes up with the relatively short lifetime. The shoes remained waterproof for quite a while , but once the place with the most vigorous movements -the upper material near the ball- was broken they started to leak, still much later than many other boots I was wearing in the past.

Love these boots, really wide top allows slip on easily, wide foot and tie area super comfortable, top 2 eyes are the hook type so very easy to tie up and wear, comfortable to drive in and I ware size 15!

My husband wanted a new pair of walking boots. He saw these sketchers boots and decided to buy them as sketchers is so comfy as he has a pair of summer canvas shoes. He took the dog out for a long walk when they came and really likes them as they are so comfy for walking in. Would highly recommend these boots.
Great winter boots for dog walking on the beach, cliff paths, through wet grass and streams etc. warm and excellent as they’re waterproof in totally wet conditions.
These are very good boots and very comfortable. Still waiting to test the waterproofing. I have had other sketcher shoes but haven’t been impressed. If you like walking you will like these.
No estn mal. Son botas ms urbanas que de montaa. La amortiguacin no se nota mucho. Quedan un poquito ms grade de lo normal. Son bonitas, eso si… Cubren muy bien la zona del tobillo, no tienen membrana de Gore-Tex, es slo waterprof. Pero ya lo saba cuando las compr. Para mi no son muy cmodas, es mi opinin, ya que las compr por un problema de rodillas. Llegaron bien.
I’m a lady with wide feet, had to return dozens of shoes, as too small. However I find these very roomy, and with thermal socks feel like they’re sliding slighty. However thicker socks sort this. Feet feel warmer with memory foam soles. Very comfortable when walking all day.

Really comfortable. I am female and take a 7 and have wide feet thats why I purchased a mens boot. They are slightly too big but two pairs of socks sorts it out.
Wore these over the weekend on a trip. Fair to say they were put through the ultimate test. Weather hit big time. Monsoon weather and walking dog in muddy woods etc. Felt like walking on air. Never hurt once. Love them.

When you purchase on line it is always difficult, in this case the week before I purchased some Sketches training shoes (very happy) so I purchased these boots, from out of the box they fit like a glove, highly recommend.

Became uncomfortable after a period when walking around the house, mainly around the ankles .
Son algo rgidas al intentar doblar la puntera. Las he podido comparar con otras dos de otros fabricantes. El peso est similar a otros modelos y fabricantes. 585 grs por bota.
Queda probar la durabilidad de la suela, porque en este fabricante a m me han durado poco y estas no son Vibram.
Son waterprof, pero no Goretex, con lo que no traspiran demasiado.
Son cmodas por la horma y por su plantilla Memory foam, pero esta est pegada y eso no permite su lavado independiente.
El apretado de la bota no permite ajustar demasiado bien la parte delantera, cediendo poco. Ya sabis se pueden hacer dos aprietes, uno para la parte del ancho de la bota y otro para la caa. En algunas botas la trabilla de ajuste es “bloqueadora”, lo que permite un ajuste distinto de la zona del empeine y de la caa. En esta bota hay que usar el sencillo truco de pasar el cordn por ella desde arriba, desde la trabilla que se quiere dar otro apriete.
El 43 que(USA 10, UK 9) fue el nmero pedido, me queda bien pero sobra algo menos que en otros fabricantes, para unas dimensin de pie de 264 mm.
Si no hubiese obtenido el precio de oferta, sin duda no las habra comprado. Mejor otras marcas.
he padding around the ankle bone is great, other boots rub on my protruding ankle bone.
Good, sturdy and spacious boot. Perfect for wider feet. A 20k hike resulted in a bit of blistering.
Good memory foam footbed. Generally comfortable. Sizes run about 1/2 large (I generally wear a 9, the 8-1/2 in this boot fit me). Good for winter walks, not really a sturdy hiking boot. Good value for low price.
These boots feel sturdy but are still comfortable & light to wear. I’ve had them on through the recent snow & felt very safe on the slippery surfaces. I had seen them in a store at a much higher price even in the sale, so thanks Amazon.

Excellent fit and quality and so far no signs of them being anything but reasonably waterproof – at least after the first 20+ miles. Replaced some much more expensive Berghaus boots and much happier with these.

These boots were for my son..hes very fussy and at first wanted combat boots which were 180.00 !. I persuaded him to try them and recieved a text saying they were so comfortable and well made.i knew skechers were great cos theyre the only boots i will wear..i hope the quality continues..amazing price competes and betters with brands costing twice as much.

Gekauft habe ich sie fr die tglichen Gassirunden mit dem Hund, wo es auch schon mal querfeldein geht (Wie man am Bild erkennen kann) und ich muss sagen, ich habe warme und keine nassen Fe. Selbst bei einer tieferen Pftze muss ich mir keine Gedanken machen.
Ich habe sie vor dem tragen nochmals imprgniert. Wenn ich mal durch ne Pftze laufe sieht man richtig wie sich dicke Wasserperlen bilden.
Ich bin begeistert, Qualitt und Preis stimmt.
