Good well made boot.
Very good tread on the sole making them ideal for walking in normal or muddy conditions, but not much grip on icy surfaces.
I have taken these on two hikes so far, one 8-mile and one 5-mile, and I have to say these are worth every penny. First, comfort. These shoes are very comfortable, they have breathable insoleand provide plenty of cushion for a long trek. I typically wear a 12, 12 1/2 or 13 depending on who makes the shoe and it has to be wide to be comfortable. I ordered the 12 wide in these and my feet are singing! As far as protection from the elements, I did not slip on any surface I hiked on, my feet stayed dry and something I found really interesting, when hiking in mud, the mud did not become this giant muck that stuck to the shoe. In my experience, hiking in mud will cause it to stick to your shoe until your have to kick off giant hunks of it. Not these. It may be due to the design on the bottom but I had very little mud stuck in the grooves on the shoes. Because these are leather, they are super flexible. Some shoes use a hard plastic to protect from the elements and that will cost you comfort. I was very happy that was not the case here. I have one small gripe in that the shoelaces that came with the shoes are not long enough to secure the ankle part of the shoe and you will need to swap those out if you want the boots to be snug. It's a small gripe and an inexpensive swap and doesn't take away anything from these boots. I will definitely reorder once I've hiked the soles off!

Seems to be a half size too small, but boot looks great, don’t appear to do an 11.5 UK size so will have try another option 🙁
Best Boot for The Money
This review is from my husband:
I maintain 67 inground pools a week 52 weeks out of a year and have been for almost a decade. I do everything from maintaining them to service and repair, drain, and cleaning, including waste vacuuming.
I have worn everything from Keens to you name it, and none of them held up longer than three months.
You only think being on concrete all day long doesn’t impact a boot; try tending to inground pools all the year round and get back to me.
Of all the boots I have ever worn in the field and camping for that matter, these were the only ones to last a full year.
They keep my feet warm and dry as advertised.
I do buy two because, and this is why I contemplated giving them a 4 Star rating; sometimes (like twice in a decade), a pair of boots is not equal to the other pair, and they will only hold up for six months, and sometimes (Once in a decade) a pair will have a defect.
Hence me giving them a 5 Star rating. That is not a bad average.
Returning them has never been an issue, and when both pairs are as they should be, I keep them both.
I know they are advertised as a hiking boot, but for what I do for a living, they are bar none hands down the best damn boot I have ever put on my feet for the money.

The shoes remained waterproof for quite a while , but once the place with the most vigorous movements -the upper material near the ball- was broken they started to leak, still much later than many other boots I was wearing in the past.

Love these boots, really wide top allows slip on easily, wide foot and tie area super comfortable, top 2 eyes are the hook type so very easy to tie up and wear, comfortable to drive in and I ware size 15!

Great waterproof boots
Great winter boots for dog walking on the beach, cliff paths, through wet grass and streams etc. warm and excellent as they’re waterproof in totally wet conditions.

No están mal....
No estn mal. Son botas ms urbanas que de montaa. La amortiguacin no se nota mucho. Quedan un poquito ms grade de lo normal. Son bonitas, eso si… Cubren muy bien la zona del tobillo, no tienen membrana de Gore-Tex, es slo waterprof. Pero ya lo saba cuando las compr. Para mi no son muy cmodas, es mi opinin, ya que las compr por un problema de rodillas. Llegaron bien.

Use them for work as an hgv driver and for walking dog at home. First broad boot I have bought and my goodness what a revelation to have instant comfort without having to break the boots in. Memory foam sole is bliss and boots are very supportive around the ankle for walking. They look good too. Interested to see how long they last, but initially it’s looking very good. Would buy again.

Comfort and weather proof
Wore these over the weekend on a trip. Fair to say they were put through the ultimate test. Weather hit big time. Monsoon weather and walking dog in muddy woods etc. Felt like walking on air. Never hurt once. Love them.

Ich hatte krzlich eine 3 Tgige Trekkingtour. Ich habe die Schuhe einige Tage eingetragen und auf einer Krzen Wanderung zuvor schonmal an. Bei der Tour ist mir dann bereits am zweiten Tag zuerst der rechte, dann der linke Schnrsenkel gerissen. Vier Sterne gibt es dennoch, weil die Schuhe trotz dauerregen und lngerer Strecken durch nasse Wiesen keinen Funken Wasser durchgelassen haben und sie vom Tragegefhl sehr gut waren und ich keine Blasen bekommen habe. Die Schnrung knnte meines Erachtens nach noch etwas weiter vorne beginnen. Die Zehen haben etwas viel spiel, weshalb sie in besonders unwegsamem Gelnde schonmal am Schuh reiben knnen.
Alles in allem aber eine top Preis/Leistung und ich hatte zum Glck Paracord dabei, weshalb das mit den Schnrsenkeln nun nicht ganz so schlimm war.

Son algo rgidas al intentar doblar la puntera. Las he podido comparar con otras dos de otros fabricantes. El peso est similar a otros modelos y fabricantes. 585 grs por bota.
Queda probar la durabilidad de la suela, porque en este fabricante a m me han durado poco y estas no son Vibram.
Son waterprof, pero no Goretex, con lo que no traspiran demasiado.
Son cmodas por la horma y por su plantilla Memory foam, pero esta est pegada y eso no permite su lavado independiente.
El apretado de la bota no permite ajustar demasiado bien la parte delantera, cediendo poco. Ya sabis se pueden hacer dos aprietes, uno para la parte del ancho de la bota y otro para la caa. En algunas botas la trabilla de ajuste es “bloqueadora”, lo que permite un ajuste distinto de la zona del empeine y de la caa. En esta bota hay que usar el sencillo truco de pasar el cordn por ella desde arriba, desde la trabilla que se quiere dar otro apriete.
El 43 que(USA 10, UK 9) fue el nmero pedido, me queda bien pero sobra algo menos que en otros fabricantes, para unas dimensin de pie de 264 mm.
Si no hubiese obtenido el precio de oferta, sin duda no las habra comprado. Mejor otras marcas.

Love the look of these, was going to take them trekking to South America but just not comfortable enough (my mountain warehouse hiking boots win hands down. However still love them. Did buy too large and as a female buying men’s boots this could be the reason. Will still wear them, but for best, rather than hiking Machu Pichu!

I love these. I love Skechers full stop and as I have plate and screws in right foot they enabled me to go back to work. So when I needed walking boots..there was only one choice. However …these are men’s. I am a woman !!! Not a lot of choice for ladies walking boots. So I bought these. And they are perfect. Soft, comfortable and they look good.

Good, sturdy and spacious boot. Perfect for wider feet. A 20k hike resulted in a bit of blistering.

Strong & lightweigh
These boots feel sturdy but are still comfortable & light to wear. I’ve had them on through the recent snow & felt very safe on the slippery surfaces. I had seen them in a store at a much higher price even in the sale, so thanks Amazon.

I could have walked miles in them straight out of the box. A couple of months on and they just get more and more comfortable. They seem well made so hopefully will last a while but when they finally wear out, i will have no hesitation in buying another pair.

Der Skechers Herren Relment-Pelmo Stiefel hat von der Gre her genau gepasst. Er ist sehr leicht und super bequem zu tragen. Auch in der jetzigen, kalten Jahreszeit hlt er die Fe angenehm warm. Ich habe den Schuh, vor meiner ersten Trekkingtour, kurz imprgniert und konnte noch keinen Wassereintritt feststellen. Also ein Top-Schuh zu einem gnstigen Preis.

Bei Skechers habe ich mit den Synergy Instant Reaction einen sehr guten und endlich mal breiten Schuh gefunden. Da ich Sehr viel Wandern gehe bentige ich natrlich Wanderschuhe und da passende fr meinen sehr breiten Fu zu bekommen ist sehr schwer. Zz bin ich mit einen Lowa Berg Stiefel in 1 1/2 Nummern grer unterwegs. Nun strt mich im Sommer die Wrme im Schuh und natrlich das Gewicht von ber einen Kg pro Fu. Also ein bequemer leichter Trekking Stiefel muss her. Da der Skechers Synergy Instant Reaction der bequemste Sommerschuh ist den ich je hatte, dachte ich probiere es mal mit den Wanderstiefel von Skechers. Was soll ich sagen… nein geht nicht. Die Breite bei den Stiefeln ist nicht gegeben. Die Mae der Sohle sind bei gleicher Gre sogar geringer als beim Sommer Halbschuh. Alleine in der Breite fehlen 5mm und das ist ziemlich viel meine ich. Sehr schade muss die Wanderschuhe zurck schicken.

I persuaded him to try them and recieved a text saying they were so comfortable and well made.i knew skechers were great cos theyre the only boots i will wear..i hope the quality continues..amazing price competes and betters with brands costing twice as much.

Ich kann diese Schuhe nur empfehlen.
Gekauft habe ich sie fr die tglichen Gassirunden mit dem Hund, wo es auch schon mal querfeldein geht (Wie man am Bild erkennen kann) und ich muss sagen, ich habe warme und keine nassen Fe. Selbst bei einer tieferen Pftze muss ich mir keine Gedanken machen.
Ich habe sie vor dem tragen nochmals imprgniert. Wenn ich mal durch ne Pftze laufe sieht man richtig wie sich dicke Wasserperlen bilden.
Ich bin begeistert, Qualitt und Preis stimmt.
