A fun game
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son. He didn’t seem too sure at first as he loves to play car games normally. After a while of playing he seems to really like it which is a bonus and it took me a while to get him to stop playing and come off the PlayStation.

More snow than running
Plenty of snow. Game was not lying about that at all. Little less on the running side though, seems to not contain many running tracks, hurdles or relay races. But fun if you like trucks and towing stuff.

I don’t know what it is about this game my mates hate it but I love it! I loved the last one and I think snow runner is a lot better, the physics are real nice and the slow paced driving is excellent, it’s so thrilling pounding a v8 thru deep bog while pulling an extremely overweight cargo . I have already spent loads of hours + a couple days off work playing this and so so so much more still todo. Also well worth paying out for year 1 pass as added loads of extra content. I also can’t wait to finish the game to play thru with the in game modded content activated. Top buy! Better than ps store price!

Its a game you can’t stop playing, quite realistic and tough but achievable targets. You buy it and won’t be buying next game anytime soon.

Amazing game the graphics are the best ive ever seen on console. It a very slow based game hours of fun. The only problem I’ve found is that if you mess up a mission you cant reset it so that everything gets put back at the start. But don’t let that put off wanting to get it its still avery good game. If you like ice road truckers you will love this 10/10.i think the reason you can’t reset stuff is to make the game more realistic still a very good game.
Planning your route, navigating the terrain, winching your way out of a boggy mess en route to your destination where rewards allows for numerous truck upgrades. There is something very addictive and rewarding to this game but be warned, it is a real time drain. Starting out I thought it was taking me a long time to achieve very little, the game is unforgiving to a casual, unplanned jaunt while always remaining fair. Things got more productive once I only stuck to the first map until I had accumulated enough cash to buy and upgrade numerous trucks. Other tips I would recommend is to focus on repairing bridges and removing road obstacles, these missions make navigating the map much easier, providing more straight forward options to get from A to B.
Graphics are excellent, the lighting is particularly effective however it is the physics of the game, the way your truck responds to the terrain, the resistance of trees and branches you attach the winch to, that really stands out.
I love this game but fully appreciate it is not for everyone. I have limited free time and use gaming to relax, I enjoy slower paced, single player games (though online modes are available) that rewards you without too much hand holding. This game ticks all the boxes.

A good game for truck sim lovers.
A slow paced game aimed at off-road truck enthusiasts. Loads of maps and missions to complete and even more if the year pass is purchased. The game can be repetitive in some missions and some missions are long and take a bit of planning. But then again some are not and can be fun. Once you have played the game for a while you will understand better, truck selection for type of missions etc. All in all the game has good graphics and hours and hours of gameplay to keep you occupied. Be prepared for some frustration and a little repetition though. Oh and loads of mud, rain and snow.
Teenagers and husband obsessed, they just love driving trucks off road.

Superb game, very realistic simulator and great graphics. It’s a slow paced game, but strangely relaxing and good fun to play.
If you like driving sims with a more realistic adventure feel to it, then you will love this! If you enjoyed the TV show ‘Ice Road Truckers’ you will absolutely love this!
Only thing I could possible say to improve on but it doesn’t really detract from the game, is the clunky way of moving between countries and bringing your vehicles with you. Apart from that, looking forward to the next gen version of this game on PS5!

Mint when you get into it dont give up and keep going look every where for thrucks and have fun. Good to wind down aswell after a long day at work just dont watch the clock as next thing you know its 5am and you hav not slep

Very enjoyable game, but one very disturbing problem, the ps4 version at the moment dont support the wheel and pedals to play, its ok with the controller but when you spend a lot of money to play this with the wheel and when you connect everything and realize it does not work, makes you very disappointed. Dont buy wheel for this game, because it is not working with.
This is what real addiction feels like, the idea of it is so mundane, but it’s so well done. You get that ‘one more task’ feeling from the gameplay that’s so nuanced, takes a lot of skill and upgrades make a palpable difference. Playing on PS4 pro, graphics are by far the best I’ve seen in a vehicular game, mainly due to the unbelievable looking mud, water and snow. It fits well with what I’m guessing is 30fps with no frame rate issues so far. There’s enough content in here to last for ages and I’ve not even tried the multiplayer. It starts slow but if you persevere and get some online tips it will open up a brilliant experience. Only the Metro games have made me feel as isolated as this does, man vs nature at its finest. Difficult and skill-based, certainly not a casual game. Had some disappointing crashes early on but recent patch promises to improve this. Go for premium edition if you want an easier start, but if you like to build from scratch, get the standard edition and earn every penny, so good, so addictive
Got the PC version. Graphics, physics and gameplays experience has really been improved. There are some bugs though in this game, but hopefully they will be fixed in the upcoming update.
Game is amazing with addictive gameplay. The menu system has some problems and at the beginning, it is a bit hard to grasp how to move your car from one map to another, or how you get your missions but when you get used to it once, it becomes an addiction and full therapy. I’ve spent 5-6 hours just for today and If I wasn’t hit by hunger, I would definitely continue to play on!. Game’s physics is quite amazing and you can literally feel the mud and the struggle against nature. If developers can make the menu system more user friendly with some feedback for the things you can or can’t do at that time, this can easily be a classic in its genre. No brainer for people who like off-road stuff.
