Steadyrack Bike Rack – Wall Mounted Bike Storage Solution for Your Home, Garage or Commercial Application. Easy Install. Swings 180 Degrees for More Floor Space
I’ve got two bikes and no garage, so storing bikes through the winter is a bit of a pain. However, a pair of these racks in the basement means I can swing them up against the wall and have them almost entirely out of the way. If you’re really hurting for space, you could even loosen the handlebars and swivel them so they’re oriented vertically.
The instructions they give for figuring out how high up to mount the rack are well-written and do work, though I’d advise really making sure you understand them – the included hardware is no joke and you’ll probably regret making massive holes in the wall if you just start drilling.
Also, the recommended sizes for the holes you’re supposed to drill seem absolutely out of whack – they recommend a 10mm bit for the big bolts which is I *think* if you’re using anchors? I’m pretty sure I ended up using something more like a 6-7mm bit for drilling into wooden wall studs because otherwise the bolts would’ve just fallen out of the wall.
The benefits outweigh my concerns here, though. As long as you take your time and actually measure out the install, the rack is pretty much the ideal user experience. Not having to fight with a hook and being able to just swing the bike wherever you need it is so convenient, and as long as they’re anchored properly the racks feel substantial. If I continue to expand my fleet I’d definitely keep buying these. They’re a little pricey for what they are, I think – I feel like $75-90 would be at least a little more reasonable – but at least you can see that there’s some engineering behind the cost.
I finally had my new shed built so it was time to get the mountain bikes moved in so to maximize space I ordered one steadyrack to test. directions were pretty easy to follow and if you’re familiar with mounting stuff to wall studs this will be a walk in the park.
it functions as advertised and I feel really comfortable having it hold my 2300 dollar Cannondale.
ordering another for my wife’s trek now!
I love the way the rack looks so sleek and nice. It is sturdy and holds our bikes that weigh 30-40 lbs. I haven’t had one problem with this rack at all. It folds nicely and looks incredible on the wall. My garage looks neat and clean with the rack. I would buy this again in a heartbeat! Excellent product and well made.
So happy we bought 3 of these to hang our bikes. Our garage finally has more floor space! They installed very easy if you follow the instructions exactly — we actually hung them an inch higher than the instructions specified and it worked out great.
Having floor racks for everything really took up the space in the garage. After getting these, (5), we have really opened up the floor allowing us to do more with our space. We wish we had gotten these sooner. Definitely recommend these.
I was on the fence about buying a SteadyRack mostly due to the price, but now I am kicking myself for not buying it earlier. I am going to order another one for my other bike. The SteadyRack is kind of pricey, but it is worth it in my opinion. If you have a small garage or lots of bikes, this is the best storage solution out there.
This bike rack is the best out there. Stop looking at those cheap hooks by other manufacturers that are flimsy, difficult to hang your bike on (especially heavy mountain bikes) and don’t collapse towards the wall the way you want it to. This thing has four giant bolts that go into your wall stud (or masonry) and is incredibly easy to hang a bike on. You just roll the bike right onto it. Honestly just buy it. You get what you pay for and this is best of the best.
I’ve got a 2022 trek rail 9.7 ebike. The ebike weighs 55 pounds and this rack handles it no problem. Specs say 85 pound limit. Just make sure to get into a stud if you are mounting a heavier bike.
This is a perfect way to store your bikes. They wont fall down and they offer a stable solution to your problem.
I would make it more easy to differentiate what rack is for my mtb. I was breaking my head only because of this. Plus, they sent me a bottom plastic for road bike instead of mtb. Still works tho… wont complicate here. As long as it works…
Highly reccomended.
I love that it folds up and out of the way. I don’t have to sweep around it or move it first then sweep. It holds the Mt bike firm. So easy to load up, and dismount too and be on my way. 100% recommend
Great space saver! The only thing is that I ordered the one it said to for my tire size, which is the mountain bike version, and the rear tire holder is barely wide enough for my tire which makes it difficult to turn the bike to the side and makes a loud squeaking noise when doing so. Will change to 5 stars once contacted about seeing if they have a wider rear tire holder!
This rack is very good and saves floor space in the storage of your bike. The only reason I gave 4* instead of 5 is when you but the bike into the rack the tyre holder can’t be locked. So you are just easing the tyre in and it swings away. Someone needs to hold it!
I lik the fact I can hang my e-bike from this bracket and not have to worry about it falling. At 68 and 5’6″ its all I can do to lift it up to the cradle. If you drop the height of the bracket down to 1/4″ over the length between the tire centers, it’s easy to roll the e-bike up to the bracket and hang it. This was learned from trial and error. A normal bike would be easier to lift so you could just use the dimensions in the instruction sheet verbatim.
I was struggling to figure out a good storage solution for my heavy e-bike. I wanted something that minimized the footprint while being easy to load the bike. This rack checks both boxes perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for, and sturdy enough to be trusted with your expensive e-bikes.
Absolute Empfehlung! Montage kein Problem.
While not cheap, these are excellent for wall mounting our bikes. We have two e-bikes, one with fenders. The heaviest is 55 lbs, and no issues supporting it. I like how you just “roll” the bike onto the rack. Really like how they can move from side to side. Highly recommended.
The product is great – easy to install and use.
However it’s shipped without extra shipping box, so mine was damaged.
Amazon sealed the damaged part with their tape as attached photo.
I am not going to return it as it’s functionally okay to use and it’s time consuming to repack and go to UPS store.
However, considering it’s a heavy product, it’s better to add an extra shipping box or protection inside of the product box.
This was just as advertised. Directions were clear and went up in about 10 min. I would definitely go 2-3″ high vice the 1-3″. I picked 1.5 and tire is still slightly touching. Very well made and I am sure it will last forever.
This is such a well thought out product and I cannot give it enough praise. After considering to build my own bike mount I am very happy I decided to purchase this mount. It was a 30 min installation process and works so so so well.
I had 81″ of wall to fit three mountain bikes and two gravel bikes.
I thought that these would be a pain to install, but I set them all at the same height and placed them 16 on center on the existing studs and didn’t have to change anything. Despite their proximity, they still swivel well enough to be moved out of the way to make it easier to get an individual bike in and out. Really well thought out and really sturdy. I didn’t bother to install the mounts for the rear tires, which seemed extraneous.
This product was recommended to me from my father in law. I’m very happy with it ! Needed help mounting it as I’m not very savvy with mountings. It’s easy to use and in my option the best set up for bike storage 🙂 very good quality !
This bike storage solution is rock solid and installs fairly easily (if you know where the wall studs are). The swivel is great because I can push the bikes out of the way when they are stored, but swivel them back to a good angle to take them out of the rack when needed. Superior engineering!
I love having an organized garage and it’s not always easy to find products that leave you with the feeling “how could I live without this.” This is one of those products. If you have multiple bikes and desire an affective system to hold bikes and reclaim space, you need this. Everyone who comes over to our house always asks, where did you get these. I tell them, Steadyrack.
I have a 50lb ebike. I did lots of research to find the right storage solution, even returned a rack from another company because it wasn’t right. Steadyrack was a solid-built solution – and so simple – walk the bike up to the rack with the front wheel lifted and roll it right into the rack – solid, secure. Installation was straightforward if you simply watch the installation video and follow it. My issue – the front tire would get pinched in the two Vs of the rack, and due to the weight of the bike by morning my front tire was always deflated – and yes, I have the right size rack – I bought the mountain bike version.
With a little ingenuity I was able to raise the front tire in the rack so the tire didn’t sit deep in the Vs. (see the pics) Also, I put a small ball in the rear tire holder which shifted the weight of the bike slightly so the front tire wasn’t wedged so tight in the V furthest from the wall. Finally, I used one of my hiking poles to gently add a little support under the handlebars – further taking a little pressure off the front tire – and the pole doubles as support to keep the front tire locked into the vertical support bar of the rack. Might sound complicated, but its not – super easy – I roll the bike to the rack – the front tire sits comfortably in the rack, slide the pole in place, and the bike is securely mounted. If you have a heavy bike and a tire deflation issue, give this a try. I don’t recommend this if in a high traffic space, and the rack cannot be swiveled doing this. But for my heavy bike this works perfect!
I really like this rack. Bought a couple to try in my garage before I moved to a condo. I have 5 bikes, mix of road and mountain, mounted on a wall in less than 10′ of space. Easy to get on and off and very sturdy. All five are the mountain bike one so they all look the same and I can mix up how bikes are laid out.
I used to be an issue to get the bikes out of our small , narrow bike area, not any more.
These racks are fabulous, easy to fit and swing 160 degress to push them up against the wall.
Really well designed product.
Great product that has saved a ton of space in my garage. Purchased four of them which is not cheap. However, you get what you pay for and I’m really pleased with them.
This thing is awesome! Highly recommend. My only complaint is that the instructions tell you to use a certain bit size for installation in to drywall. Another reviewer pointed out that this is WAY to big and go size down. He’s correct, I went with the smaller bit size and it was perfect for the anchors. If I had sized up, it would NOT have worked..
Otherwise it’s great! I love it. Install took about an hour
Tip:do not lift up to remove your bike, pull it straight back towards you. Grab the bike and walk backwards! It tends to get stuck if you lift it straight up.
I just got this item today and it’s worth every penny. It fits my mountain bike with wide
Tires perfectly fine. It was really easy to install I put mine directly into studs. Just make sure you measure your tire from the ceiling to the bottom bike rack. I have 29″ tires and I forgot to do that so I had to adjust and drop the rack down about 2″. But overall I’m extremely pleased with this rack. It does swing back and forth and there is no locking mechanism to hold it in one place.
Wish they would of added more screws instead of the bare minimum. If you install it correctly, it’s a great help. If you don’t and it take a little work to park the bike. Great idea, seems a bit high priced
Yes, they’re not the cheapest but this is one of those ‘you get what you pay for’ situations. We’ve been looking for a bike storage solution and I think we have a winner. Just installed, but very pleased with how they went in and more so on how they perform. They do articulate so we can free up a little more room but the space savings isn’t significant. The real benefit is being able to move them out of the way to load / unload (this is only due to how closely I spaced them).
I think I might replace the lag screws and secure with metal inserts so I can move them higher on the wall for winter storage.
The Steadyrack holds the bike securely and it allows me to sweep under the tires without moving the bike. If I need more room to do something on one side of the bike/rack I simply swing it to the other side. My rack is hung at the back corner of my truck so if I need to carry something a little larger around my truck I simply swing my bike the opposite way. It works great. I always back my truck into the garage.
I was missing a lag screw in my packaging when it arrived. A quick visit to Home Depot and $0.45 later I was all fastened to the wall. The box arrived ripped open on one end and the internal cardboard was also ripped. The plastic ziploc bag was open as well. Still annoying, but I cannot fault Steadtrack 100% for it not knowing what happened during shipping.
This is the best wall mounted mountain bike rack I have used. Installation was very easy. The mount is very sturdy. Lastly, the ability to swing the bike to the side is great.
I would buy this mount again and again as I collect more bikes.
I have this installed in a front guest bedroom. I wanted somewhere to store my e-mountain bike since I have no garage space it has to be inside the house. I hated that if just popped up, the bike would tip over, so I wanted a rack of some sorts.
What I like: bike loads perpendicular to the wall but then swings sideways so it is easy to load on the rack, yet feels more out of the way. I can now vacuum under the tires, so when dirt and debris falls off my tire I can clean it up. Construction feels very sturdy for my e bikes extra weight.
What I don’t like: nothing! At least nothing about the rack. I have an XL sized bike because of my height and while this rack helps get the bike out of the way, it’s still aBIG bike in my guest room:(
Install notes: there was just a brief one line not so clear thing in the instructions that said to add 1-3 inches to the measurement when going from ground horizontal to the vertical height. I needed the 3 inches added!!! Make sure you notice this!!!
Was looking for a solution like this with heavy ebikes with fenders. These works as advertised and the ability to swing is awesome. The other thing that’s not complete clear on pictures is that these are really sturdy. I have no concerns about it holding my 60lb ebike. Also I was concerned about tight clearance between my fender and tire but when you put the weight of the bike on the rack it sucks the supports in tight and it fits perfect. Yes more expensive than others out there but it works perfect and is well made. Highly recommended.
Our garage is already pretty cramped and we needed a good way to store our families bikes 3 adult bikes, 4 kids bikes these racks worked out great. It is very helpful to be able to swing them around. This allows us to pull out the bike we need and leave the ones we do not with relative ease.
Good product. Easy to install in stud, and took lefty mountain bike perfectly. I had a tight fit due to water heater and cabinet, but it fit perfectly. Installed at 70″ of floor for top screw, and has about 1-2″ clearance on bottom.
The rack is small and collapsible. With proper technique a very little effort is needed to put the bike on it. The bike can swing sideways to the most convenient position. Excellent concept.
Brilliant vertical bike rack. Very sturdy, robust and feel high quality. They are attached to the wall via large screws and rawlplugs and once secured, allow the bike to either sit vertical and move/ pivot either side. The front wheel sits in the rack and an additional guide sits separate to the main rack lower down the wall to secure the rear wheel. A very good idea and although a little pricier than other racks, this rack is very sturdy and gives the confidence your bike is secure when hanging vertically. Easy to slot the bike in and out of the rack using your knee.
This rack is so good, I bought 4 in total to store our road and mountain bikes.
Super!
Schrauben und Dbel mMn vllig ausreichend bemessen. Nicht wie hufig viel zu klein.
Montage kein Problem.
These are the best bike racks available IMO. I wish they weren’t so expensive, but I have no regrets. I was skeptical, but they can indeed hang 16″ apart. I installed all of them into studs and they are very sturdy. The only reason for the wide spacing you see in the photo is the location of the electrical outlet.
I used one mountain rack for a wider tire MTB, one fender rack for a TT, and four classic racks for the road bike and a MTB with non-knobby tires.
The varying heights helps accommodates 4 road bikes and two mountain bikes, one of which has bar ends. This makes it possible to pivot the bikes farther without parts of one bike hitting the next. We don’t have any trouble parking two cars and having the bikes at 90 degrees, but we typically keep them at an angle of around 50 degrees. They are easy to pivot.
I mounted the racks higher on the wall because our road bikes are lightweight, and I wanted the heaviest mountain bike (far right rack) to be a couple of inches off the floor for any necessary sweeping. Plus it’s not really that heavy.
I’ve not yet had a chance to mount the rear wheel rests on the two racks on the left due to bike maintenance.
They are an excellent storage solution to get your bikes off the floor. The design cradles the wheels. Other storage solutions use hooks that can warp your wheels. The rack design also allows you to fold the bikes into the wall to minimize the storage space it takes up.
The drawbacks are:
The instructions are very general regarding how to calculate the height to mount the racks, and I had to play with the height to get it correct (but I guess that is what drywall spackle is for).
They don’t fold all the way into the wall, but good enough.
The endcaps they give you to cover up the bolts are a joke. Putting the caps on is harder than mounting the racks to your wall.
Fr leichte Rder ohne Schutzblech gute Lsung.
Install was quick. Being able to swing the bikes on the wall makes for a. easier process to mount the bikes up and take the bikes down. I have them installed in a pretty small storage space. I expect I will buy a few more in the future.
Installation went ok. The second bike’s handle bars didn’t come down as low as I thought but it works fine with both bikes being able to swing together and rest at an angle. Exactly what we were looking for given the space we had.
Love these racks. It is amazing how much space they create when folded in, and it is easy to open them up and get the bikes out. We have everything from commuters to mountain bikes to balance bikes hanging in these. My only gripe is that we hung some racks too low to accommodate full-size mountain bikes, so some adjustment might be needed in the future. It would be cool if they offered a couple of mounting ideas for arraying a whole bunch of racks.
I needed a reliable way to bring my new bike inside because space is very limited in my apartment. The installation was very smooth and I’m really happy with the look and the ability to swivel the bike. I can mount it and turn the bike towards my door to get it out of the way, and then turn it back when I need to leave.
I didn’t trust the drywall plugs so I found a stud, but the only well-placed stud was on an electrical outlet so I couldn’t place the bottom holder exactly where the wheel contacted the wall. Luckily, that part doesn’t need to be very precise, and the mount works perfectly as is.

I have a two car garage and two cars that need to park in it. With precious little space, we had resorted to hanging our bikes on the ceiling, but when it’s that hard to get them down, we found we weren’t riding as much. So I shopped around and discovered the Steadyrack. The best part: the ability to angle my bike (versus other methods that only allowed my bike to be straight vertical) to preserve space! I hung my steadyrack so that my bike could be swung underneath some shelving, and I bought a second steadyrack for my husband’s bike, and it’s right up next to mine, both taking up minimal space but still being easily accessible. It’s one of my favorite garage purchases ever.
I was able to install this rack in my garage and I am impressed with the quality as well as how easy it was to install. The rack holds my enduro bike rock steady and being able to rotate it 180 degrees helps free up much needed space as well. I would definitely recommend this product. The only downside is the cost. It’s expensive, but in this case you really do get what you pay for.
I was put off buying this because of the price compared to other items and I still feel over priced, however we have six bikes and some of the cheapest ones only suitable for kids or thin tyre bikes. So I invested in one of these for my heaviest bike and I have to say it’s a fantastic item, I bought another for my wife who has a thick Tyred bike, as and when I need to replace the others I will get these for all bikes. It’s easy to mount bike and swivel option is useful, very sturdy
Easy to load bike for kids 12 and over. On the rack the bike swivels left to right for storage efficiency and taking up less space in garage. High quality and easy to install. After years of searching for a good solution for us and our kids in a small space for bike storage, this rack ticks all of the boxes. The price is insane, but after you get over that you will never regret buying this rack.
1a Produkt! Absolut wertig und sehr stabil. Wrde sogar mein EBike darauf aufhngen.

I am not going to return it as it’s functionally okay to use and it’s time consuming to repack and go to UPS store.
However, considering it’s a heavy product, it’s better to add an extra shipping box or protection inside of the product box.
I’ve tried hooks and other less expensive options, finally but the bullet and wish I had done it sooner. Just get them, they are awesome.
Easy to install. Works great. Can turn bikes to save space.
Sehr gute Qualitt und einfacher Anbau,
Top, habe noch einen bestell
Super easy to put up and very steady and sturdy! Game changer in the garage
Really well made. Solid bars. Like the fact they are foldable. 2.8imch tyre will fit but it is tight.
This is the best wall mounted mountain bike rack I have used. Installation was very easy. The mount is very sturdy. Lastly, the ability to swing the bike to the side is great.
I would buy this mount again and again as I collect more bikes.
5 out of 5 stars!
Brilliant bike rack. Easy to install. Would work in a garage or an apartment/house.
Started with two and ordered a third.
This is an excellent storage solution, easy to fit and clears so much space. Wish we’d discovered these sooner. Highly recommended.
TOP!
These are the only bike racks to get. They pivot, they are easy to use and it’s the ultimate space saving solution.
Well packaged, solid product and easy to use. Highly recommended this rack!

I love this mechanisms not hard to set up, just do it slowly and measure carefully. Really solid and was exactly what I needed.
E Bikes
Einfach Supe
High quality, what I expectes and it comes with huge sturdy bolts/screws.
Easy to install and allowed us to maximize our garage space.
Einfache Montage. Jetzt viel mehr Platz in der Garage. Werden noch mehr kaufen.
Great rack. Did a mountain bike with 2.5 29er tires. Side lugs do get stuck in the rack
1a Produkt! Absolut wertig und sehr stabil. Wrde sogar mein EBike darauf aufhngen.
