    Great storage for small spaces
I’ve got two bikes and no garage, so storing bikes through the winter is a bit of a pain. However, a pair of these racks in the basement means I can swing them up against the wall and have them almost entirely out of the way. If you’re really hurting for space, you could even loosen the handlebars and swivel them so they’re oriented vertically.

The instructions they give for figuring out how high up to mount the rack are well-written and do work, though I’d advise really making sure you understand them – the included hardware is no joke and you’ll probably regret making massive holes in the wall if you just start drilling.

Also, the recommended sizes for the holes you’re supposed to drill seem absolutely out of whack – they recommend a 10mm bit for the big bolts which is I *think* if you’re using anchors? I’m pretty sure I ended up using something more like a 6-7mm bit for drilling into wooden wall studs because otherwise the bolts would’ve just fallen out of the wall.

The benefits outweigh my concerns here, though. As long as you take your time and actually measure out the install, the rack is pretty much the ideal user experience. Not having to fight with a hook and being able to just swing the bike wherever you need it is so convenient, and as long as they’re anchored properly the racks feel substantial. If I continue to expand my fleet I’d definitely keep buying these. They’re a little pricey for what they are, I think – I feel like $75-90 would be at least a little more reasonable – but at least you can see that there’s some engineering behind the cost.

    his rack is solid
I finally had my new shed built so it was time to get the mountain bikes moved in so to maximize space I ordered one steadyrack to test. directions were pretty easy to follow and if you’re familiar with mounting stuff to wall studs this will be a walk in the park.
it functions as advertised and I feel really comfortable having it hold my 2300 dollar Cannondale.
ordering another for my wife’s trek now!

I love the way the rack looks so sleek and nice. It is sturdy and holds our bikes that weigh 30-40 lbs. I haven't had one problem with this rack at all. It folds nicely and looks incredible on the wall. My garage looks neat and clean with the rack. I would buy this again in a heartbeat! Excellent product and well made.

So happy we bought 3 of these to hang our bikes. Our garage finally has more floor space! They installed very easy if you follow the instructions exactly -- we actually hung them an inch higher than the instructions specified and it worked out great.

Having floor racks for everything really took up the space in the garage. After getting these, (5), we have really opened up the floor allowing us to do more with our space. We wish we had gotten these sooner. Definitely recommend these.

I was on the fence about buying a SteadyRack mostly due to the price, but now I am kicking myself for not buying it earlier. I am going to order another one for my other bike. The SteadyRack is kind of pricey, but it is worth it in my opinion. If you have a small garage or lots of bikes, this is the best storage solution out there.

This bike rack is the best out there. Stop looking at those cheap hooks by other manufacturers that are flimsy, difficult to hang your bike on (especially heavy mountain bikes) and don’t collapse towards the wall the way you want it to. This thing has four giant bolts that go into your wall stud (or masonry) and is incredibly easy to hang a bike on. You just roll the bike right onto it. Honestly just buy it. You get what you pay for and this is best of the best.

This is a perfect way to store your bikes. They wont fall down and they offer a stable solution to your problem.
I would make it more easy to differentiate what rack is for my mtb. I was breaking my head only because of this. Plus, they sent me a bottom plastic for road bike instead of mtb. Still works tho… wont complicate here. As long as it works…
    Highly reccomended.

Great space saver! The only thing is that I ordered the one it said to for my tire size, which is the mountain bike version, and the rear tire holder is barely wide enough for my tire which makes it difficult to turn the bike to the side and makes a loud squeaking noise when doing so. Will change to 5 stars once contacted about seeing if they have a wider rear tire holder!

    Good simple system
This rack is very good and saves floor space in the storage of your bike. The only reason I gave 4* instead of 5 is when you but the bike into the rack the tyre holder can’t be locked. So you are just easing the tyre in and it swings away. Someone needs to hold it!

I lik the fact I can hang my e-bike from this bracket and not have to worry about it falling. At 68 and 5'6" its all I can do to lift it up to the cradle. If you drop the height of the bracket down to 1/4" over the length between the tire centers, it's easy to roll the e-bike up to the bracket and hang it. This was learned from trial and error. A normal bike would be easier to lift so you could just use the dimensions in the instruction sheet verbatim.

I was struggling to figure out a good storage solution for my heavy e-bike. I wanted something that minimized the footprint while being easy to load the bike. This rack checks both boxes perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for, and sturdy enough to be trusted with your expensive e-bikes.

While not cheap, these are excellent for wall mounting our bikes. We have two e-bikes, one with fenders. The heaviest is 55 lbs, and no issues supporting it. I like how you just “roll” the bike onto the rack. Really like how they can move from side to side. Highly recommended.

The product is great – easy to install and use.
However it’s shipped without extra shipping box, so mine was damaged.
Amazon sealed the damaged part with their tape as attached photo.
I am not going to return it as it’s functionally okay to use and it’s time consuming to repack and go to UPS store.
However, considering it’s a heavy product, it’s better to add an extra shipping box or protection inside of the product box.

    Way easier than I though
I had 81″ of wall to fit three mountain bikes and two gravel bikes.

I thought that these would be a pain to install, but I set them all at the same height and placed them 16 on center on the existing studs and didn’t have to change anything. Despite their proximity, they still swivel well enough to be moved out of the way to make it easier to get an individual bike in and out. Really well thought out and really sturdy. I didn’t bother to install the mounts for the rear tires, which seemed extraneous.

This bike storage solution is rock solid and installs fairly easily (if you know where the wall studs are). The swivel is great because I can push the bikes out of the way when they are stored, but swivel them back to a good angle to take them out of the rack when needed. Superior engineering!

I love having an organized garage and it’s not always easy to find products that leave you with the feeling “how could I live without this.” This is one of those products. If you have multiple bikes and desire an affective system to hold bikes and reclaim space, you need this. Everyone who comes over to our house always asks, where did you get these. I tell them, Steadyrack.

    With a little re-engineering...
I have a 50lb ebike. I did lots of research to find the right storage solution, even returned a rack from another company because it wasn’t right. Steadyrack was a solid-built solution – and so simple – walk the bike up to the rack with the front wheel lifted and roll it right into the rack – solid, secure. Installation was straightforward if you simply watch the installation video and follow it. My issue – the front tire would get pinched in the two Vs of the rack, and due to the weight of the bike by morning my front tire was always deflated – and yes, I have the right size rack – I bought the mountain bike version.
With a little ingenuity I was able to raise the front tire in the rack so the tire didn’t sit deep in the Vs. (see the pics) Also, I put a small ball in the rear tire holder which shifted the weight of the bike slightly so the front tire wasn’t wedged so tight in the V furthest from the wall. Finally, I used one of my hiking poles to gently add a little support under the handlebars – further taking a little pressure off the front tire – and the pole doubles as support to keep the front tire locked into the vertical support bar of the rack. Might sound complicated, but its not – super easy – I roll the bike to the rack – the front tire sits comfortably in the rack, slide the pole in place, and the bike is securely mounted. If you have a heavy bike and a tire deflation issue, give this a try. I don’t recommend this if in a high traffic space, and the rack cannot be swiveled doing this. But for my heavy bike this works perfect!

I really like this rack. Bought a couple to try in my garage before I moved to a condo. I have 5 bikes, mix of road and mountain, mounted on a wall in less than 10’ of space. Easy to get on and off and very sturdy. All five are the mountain bike one so they all look the same and I can mix up how bikes are laid out.

    Nice rack
This thing is awesome! Highly recommend. My only complaint is that the instructions tell you to use a certain bit size for installation in to drywall. Another reviewer pointed out that this is WAY to big and go size down. He’s correct, I went with the smaller bit size and it was perfect for the anchors. If I had sized up, it would NOT have worked..
Otherwise it’s great! I love it. Install took about an hour

Tip:do not lift up to remove your bike, pull it straight back towards you. Grab the bike and walk backwards! It tends to get stuck if you lift it straight up.

    Measure measure measure!!
I just got this item today and it’s worth every penny. It fits my mountain bike with wide
Tires perfectly fine. It was really easy to install I put mine directly into studs. Just make sure you measure your tire from the ceiling to the bottom bike rack. I have 29″ tires and I forgot to do that so I had to adjust and drop the rack down about 2″. But overall I’m extremely pleased with this rack. It does swing back and forth and there is no locking mechanism to hold it in one place.

Wish they would of added more screws instead of the bare minimum. If you install it correctly, it's a great help. If you don't and it take a little work to park the bike. Great idea, seems a bit high priced

    Expensive but worth it!
Yes, they’re not the cheapest but this is one of those ‘you get what you pay for’ situations. We’ve been looking for a bike storage solution and I think we have a winner. Just installed, but very pleased with how they went in and more so on how they perform. They do articulate so we can free up a little more room but the space savings isn’t significant. The real benefit is being able to move them out of the way to load / unload (this is only due to how closely I spaced them).

I think I might replace the lag screws and secure with metal inserts so I can move them higher on the wall for winter storage.

    Really Nice Rack! ;)
The Steadyrack holds the bike securely and it allows me to sweep under the tires without moving the bike. If I need more room to do something on one side of the bike/rack I simply swing it to the other side. My rack is hung at the back corner of my truck so if I need to carry something a little larger around my truck I simply swing my bike the opposite way. It works great. I always back my truck into the garage.

I was missing a lag screw in my packaging when it arrived. A quick visit to Home Depot and $0.45 later I was all fastened to the wall. The box arrived ripped open on one end and the internal cardboard was also ripped. The plastic ziploc bag was open as well. Still annoying, but I cannot fault Steadtrack 100% for it not knowing what happened during shipping.

Perfect for my storage room install!
I have this installed in a front guest bedroom. I wanted somewhere to store my e-mountain bike since I have no garage space it has to be inside the house. I hated that if just popped up, the bike would tip over, so I wanted a rack of some sorts.

What I like: bike loads perpendicular to the wall but then swings sideways so it is easy to load on the rack, yet feels more out of the way. I can now vacuum under the tires, so when dirt and debris falls off my tire I can clean it up. Construction feels very sturdy for my e bikes extra weight.

What I don’t like: nothing! At least nothing about the rack. I have an XL sized bike because of my height and while this rack helps get the bike out of the way, it’s still aBIG bike in my guest room:(

Install notes: there was just a brief one line not so clear thing in the instructions that said to add 1-3 inches to the measurement when going from ground horizontal to the vertical height. I needed the 3 inches added!!! Make sure you notice this!!!

Was looking for a solution like this with heavy ebikes with fenders. These works as advertised and the ability to swing is awesome. The other thing that's not complete clear on pictures is that these are really sturdy. I have no concerns about it holding my 60lb ebike. Also I was concerned about tight clearance between my fender and tire but when you put the weight of the bike on the rack it sucks the supports in tight and it fits perfect. Yes more expensive than others out there but it works perfect and is well made. Highly recommended.

Our garage is already pretty cramped and we needed a good way to store our families bikes… 3 adult bikes, 4 kids bikes… these racks worked out great. It is very helpful to be able to swing them around. This allows us to pull out the bike we need and leave the ones we do not with relative ease.
