I’ve been using these for 3 months now and I cannot fault them. Super sturdy with a sleek design. Great heat distribution and retention. They also have a lovely feel to them and stand up well with high heat from the hob and oven.

    Great for a home chef!

The saucepans look great and are a good weight. However they take ages to heat up on our Rayburn so I have reverted back to our ancient cast iron Le Creuset! Unfortunately our electric hob didn’t like them either for reasons I’m not sure? I have been using the small milk saucepan for beans etc. I notice the rivets on the handles are discoloured and have completely lost their shine but the pan itself is fine. Sadly the rest have been put away.

    Look very smart!

I’ve been really impressed with the pan since receiving them a few weeks ago. They are well made and heat up very quickly on the induction hob. The frying pan’s non-stick surface is excellent. My only issue with them though is the large Stellar logo on the side of the pans, which seems unnecessary.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought myself the 3 pan set last year and as our lass was looking for a new set, I suggested Stellar. 3 of the pans are exactly what I have been using for the past year, this set also includes the frying pan and milk pan. The frying pan hasn’t been used yet, but she is very happy with the quality. As per my review on the 3 pan set, the pans are a little heavy, the handles do not get hot, but the handles on the lid do. I’ve burn’t the odd thing over the past year, and I have over cooked beans and left the kitchen to find them stuck to the bottom, but most will stir off straight away, the bits that don’t, never had an issue washing off. I do find very easy to clean and the base of the pans inside of marked a little bit, but that is stainless steel and at the end of the day, these are tools to be used, so don’t buy something with the expectation they will still look pristine in 10 years time. The 3 pan set I have, I use very regular and are as good as the first usage. I’ve bought myself a smaller set, and have now recommended this larger set to my partner. I really do not have any complaints. I’ve tried cheaper pans in the past and always found I needed to replace them after a few years. I can’t see that with these.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersBest set available under the price range of Le Creuset.

Pans are heavy and have thick metal underneath meaning that heat is distributed very well. I can simmer beef ragu for 2 hours without any cooking to the bottom.

Pans have full metal handles with metal rivets, so they can go in the oven of you’re finishing the meal that way.

The lids have straining points and all pans (except the frying pan) have proper pouring points and measuring lines. Both really useful features. I like that the lids have metal handles. They heat up and require a tea towel to lift, but it’s better than plastic handles that degrade over time.

The nonstick in the frying pan is top quality. I’ve been able to fry an egg with no oil and the egg came out normally (although this was just a test).

There is only one minor complaint. The lids release steam even when you turn away from the strainer holes. This is because of the gap caused by pouring indentations. If you want to cook rice with 1 to 1 water ratio, you can’t, you’d have to seal with a towel. Still, it keeps more steam than my old Morphy Richard’s pans with holes in the lids, so still an upgrade and not a major issue.

Overall, if you’re not going to spend 500 on the equivalent set of Le Creuset, this is the best option in my opinion.

I’ve been using Stellar pans since university and only needed to purchase these because my previous pans were not induction compatible. These were a great value purchase, I was looking for something dishwasher safe and so the stainless steel was a good option for me.

Don’t cook with the lids on, or have a tea towel or oven glove ready to remove them, hot hot hot. The lids don’t sit upside down in the pans very well for stacking. Due to the deep lip on the bottom of the lids for the draining feature, they can be fiddly to put in a dishwasher. Fantastic pans apart from that.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThese pans look really good but they also have the dual pouring lip and strainer lids. It’s easy to manage steam by turning the lids to allow it to escape or keep it trapped. I haven’t taken advantage of the measuring lines inside each pan yet, but think they will be particularly useful when I am making sauces or gravy. I have only had the pans a short time, so can’t comment on durability.
The only mild drawbacks are that the biggest pan is too heavy for me to manage the strainer function without resting the pan on the edge of the sink and they don’t strain quite as well as a colander. As these have replaced a mismatched selection of pans I have had since the 80s, I am still chuffed to bits with them!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI can’t say enough good things about the Stellar 7000 range. I found them because I had a new induction hob and they are great…even without Teflon!!

I’ve used non stick pans my whole life until now and apart from the frying pan I can’t see me going back.

These pans come out of the dishwasher like new and are simply a pleasure to use.

First time for new set of pans after buying an induction hob, decided on these and after a month this is my review, great looking pans, pans seem to heat one side faster but i turn the pan so no great problem, handles are too narrow and because the pans are tall they are cumbersome when draining, would stick to M&S in future.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI bought these to replace a very old set of Stellar saucepans when I switched to an induction hob. They do work beautifully on the induction hob, and the draining lids are excellent – also good that you can see the food cooking through the glass lid. Handles are good looking and stay cool.
But, overall I don’t think the quality is as good as my ancient Stellar pans. They are easy to get clean, they don’t come up really shiny inside like my old ones did – sort of ‘water marks’ are left. They are also really heavy – which is understandable and mark of quality, but not so good if you have problems lifting.

Probably as good as (if not better than) my Mother’s 40+-year-old set of original Prestige Lifetime pans! Simply cannot fault these – the drainer lids are incredibly useful and (since it’s not shown) have two different sizes of draining holes. Handles stay cool and are wonderfully solid. Lids are fantastic. Non-stick coating on the frying pan seems to be one of the best. Anyone not used to decent stainless pans might have issues with discolouration etc BUT if they’re properly seasoned and treated with respect, I would expect them to last and look superb for a VERY long time.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought these because our last set were coated in something or other which obviously starting flaking off after some time. The huge huge advantage of these I’d that they have no coating but are still pretty non stick. That means your can scrub them to your hearts content and the only thing that would happen is that they might get scratch marks (though they haven’t and I’ve used wire wool! ) the frying pan is coated but has been very reliable so far (have had this set for about year and a half).
Other advantages have included that they do great in the dishwasher and of course those lids that mean you often don’t need a colander to strain. This feature really works! Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersVery nice set of pans, but some idiot in the factory stuck a label on each pan that has super sticky glue on it. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRecieved this Stellar pan set yesterday (2 days ahead of schedule) and was instantly impressed with the look and feel of it. It comes with a lifetime guarantee and I can see no reason why I’ll be claiming a refund! The quality is instantly apparent from the finish and the weight (not too heavy – these pans are replacing a Le Creuset set which are a nightmare to lift when there’s anything in them unless you’ve got Garth-like forearms!). It’s not apparent from the photos, but there are draining lips on both sides of the pans so they’ll suit right and left handers – nice touch. The price is quite expensive but you really do get what you pay for and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I was used to gas cooking with my faithful prestige pans, which I brought back in the 80s and have used them nearly every day since, I was uncertain of the change to these pans. I was wrong. These are excellent quality and as our new bungalow has an induction hob the prestige pans did not work and hence purchased these. The pans are fantastic. The frying pan is the only none stick but as its all metal handle so you can do Spanish omelettes in it and grill the top. ( just remember to use oven gloves once its been under the grill! )
The saucepans have the measure marks on the inside and have handy strainer lids. All work very well with the induction hob. They clean easily and look very smart. For the price and quality we are very happy. I hope to use these for the next 40 years. Only time will tell if they are as good as the prestige but for now they do the trick and appear to work very well with the i hob. I have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 2000s. However after a big slice of humble pie I have to admit these are as good as my old pans if not better. They are well worth the investment. Now I just have to find a smaller steamer to match.

I needed a new pan set as we have just had an induction hob. The stellar pans work well on the hob are of a nice weight and quality manufacture. The only thing that i would have liked in this set is a non stick milk pan, minor quibble really. Had stellar pans for before for gas hob for 35 years (still going strong Daughter has them now) hence sticking with the Stellar brand now. Would certainly recommend.

I wanted a decent set of pans and after looking around settled on these due to the glass draining lids.

I wasn’t sure though if the handles on the lids would get hot, and they do – so it’s a star knocked off, but quality is 1st class.

My wife wasn’t too happy about keeping them due to this issue, but I like them so they have stayed – you just have to get used to having a towel around for the lid handles, but it’s an issue which could easily have been designed out.
