Awful mattress
This mattress is awful. You can feel every spring and it twangs every time you move. We only bought it in April but have already replaced it with a different one as it is not fit for purpose. Very uncomfortable.

I had this at 62 I think, and it’s great for my spare room.
I wanted something cheap, and when it came it was rolled up I cut the plastic and it sprung right out. I let it sit for a few days and I’ve tested it and it’s great for the price.

Brought this mattress for the spare room. For the price I can’t complain. It is a little soft so If you like a firm mattress then this ain’t for you. Apart from that it’s a bargain buy. Only critasisem is it arrived a day late. Overall happy with mattress.

Got this for my 5 year old granddaughter’s single bed when she comes to stay. From the first night she had a better sleep than she did at home. My daughter was amazed she slept right through the night for the whole week. She has since bought one for home and it seems to be working well there too.

It cam in a box, but don’t let that fool you. Take it out and leave for 24hours. Make sure you have a strong base for it as it is very soft and very comfortable.

Arrived on time yesterday It’s a rolled mattress in a box, once opened it springs back into shape easily. Let it air for a few hours as it’s does have a pre packed odour at first but this has dissipated now. I’d been on my feet moving furniture for 14 hours, so feet, back and arms were aching, Had a lovely comfy first night sleep on it and woke refreshed and ready for the day ahead.
Would buy again. Highly recommended.
Great value matress
The matress is comfy but would reccomend for the younger ages as its very soft on the back as a kid you would not feel the springs but for me its just simply to soft but still a great product and does the job.

Unpacked and left to adjust and my son loves it. It’s soft but firm, so it’s definitely worth it, it’s not flimsy at all. I’m not sure what mattress the negative reviews received but definitely not this one. For the cost and comfort it’s absolutely worth it and will be buying another.

It’s falsely advertised as having a layer of memory foam which is false. But nonetheless it’s an okay mattress, it’s not special but it’s not uncomfortable by any means, it’s a typical bouncy spring mattress and you should be able to sleep fine on it, it does the trick just fine

In the past year ( since 2020) I have bought 5 mattresses all promising comfort and support and all very expensive, I have been disappointed with all. However, this mattress is comfortable and supportive and cost very much less. I’m really pleased and a nice person for being able to sleep !!

The mattress was great value for money ! My previous mattress was about 6 years old i needed a new budget mattress until i decide on a newer one. It’s quite firm but not too hard on your back. It was packaged great and came in a box

Very comfortable, you would t want a double version i don’t think but for a first bed it’s spot on. Arrived super quick, unwrapped, left for 4 hours and lay on it, super comfy! Definitely recommend. It says its orthopedic but it’s too soft. Buy a firm thick good quality mattress protector to help with a good nights sleep. It gives added comfort. Its also good value for the money. I would not recommend this mattress for a bad back but I would recommend it for a good nights sleep with added mattress protectio

I paid for an expensive mattress recently which left me with crippling back pain and unable to move around as it is thin. This mattress on amazon was to replace that mattress, it is worth every penny. It is soft and bouncy, I always get a good nights sleep on it now with NO back problems. I love it so much. Thank you!

This review is for the Summerby Sleep No. 1 mattress. Summerby actually produced a range of mattresses, numbered from 1 to 6. At 6 is a fully memory-foam mattress (like a Tempur, or Emma), 2 to 5 are all ‘pocket springs’ with different thicknesses of memory foam. At the bottom of the range is No.1. This is a standard coil mattress with 2 thin layers of foam on top.
The big advantage of this mattress is the price – it is very cheap, so a good choice for a guest bed that will not be used very often. It looks fine, and after unrolling soon takes up its proper shape.
However, it has the know downsides of a coil mattress. Since the coils are joined together, movements will transmit across the mattress. Not so much of an issue in a single, but for a double mattress one sleeper would definitely feel the other one moving around or getting in/out. This would be much less of an issue with pocket springs or all-foam.
The layers of foam are enough for comfort, but on the No.1 they are not ‘climate control’ foam as on the higher models, so you may find it a bit less comfortable in hot weather.
At 6 inches thick, this is not the height of many modern mattresses, but on the plus side, this makes it easier to get fitted sheets to stay on (and avoids the need for expensive ‘extra deep’ sheets!). Also on the plus side, this is UK made and has a 10 year guarantee (which should be plenty – mattresses should be changed after about 10 years anyway).
If you want a simple, basic mattress with reasonable comfort at a good price, this mattress is worth considering. For the ultimate in memory foam comfort and mattress luxury – look elsewhere!

Mattress good, dispatch & delivery from Amazon rubbish.
Seems good quality, nice thickness & comfy. Value for money. Delivery was terrible though, had 3 estimated dates on premium delivery last one was 10th August & after complaining several times bring given 2 lots of “good will gestures” to be used on other Amazon supply & delivered goods it finally came the next day. 8 days after order when should of been 3 days but it was quicker than the final estimation!

Very Soft Mattress
This is a very good priced Coil Spring Mattress, the only slight problem it is very very soft, you sit on the bed and you go right through, the spring do not hold you up. It would be great for a child, but for an Adult advancing in years and weight, I think not.
The Mattress looks good and would do the job if firmer.

Comfy and well made
This mattress arrives vacuum packed in a relatively small box, it was very convenient as I didn’t have to deal with bringing a huge mattress in the door. It inflates with air rapidly after you open the seal and it increases to full size in no time.
The mattress is well made and the quilted sections have reinforced stitching with a good quality feel and look. It fits perfectly on a single bed, the height and weight are fine.
I haven’t noticed the memory foam much, it feels like a regular coiled mattress but a little softer and lighter.
I have no trouble sleeping on it, it’s an upgrade from my last one so it’s welcome.
This mattress arrived vacuum packed and looking surprisingly small – it was actually quite a visual treat to watch it grow and grow as it came out of the packet! The instructions warned of a potential smell at first, but I didnt notice anything. The advice is to leave the mattress a little while to settle before sleeping on it.
Having waited a couple of days I then tested the mattress for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort levels given the price and the advice that this was best suited to a guest room.
The mattress is pretty firm and gives you necessary support. The memory foam layer adds some comfort but without being overly hot or smothering. It’s certainly not the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever had and the tip that it is perfect for a guest room is good advice!

The mattress arrived safe and well packed in box. Parcel was a bit heavy, size 1m tall and about 40cm wide and 40 deep (not sure exactly). After opening and placing mattress in my daughter’s bed frame, mattress quickly got its shape.
First feelings after sitting on new mattress was – mattress feels very bouncy (when 1 person was sitting on one end, second person could feel mattress bounce on the other end); mattress feels pretty firm when laying down flat; the fabric feels soft, good quality.
All new mattresses feel harder when new but after 5 months or 1 year the tension changes which is understandable. Springs in this product are very bouncy indeed. I think the sponge topper of the mattress could be a little thicker to make this mattress feel comfortable for longer. This type of mattresses is better in single size (for one person sleeping on it). If this mattress comes in bigger sizes and more than person will sleep on it, when one person will move, the other will feel the bounces.. But if this mattress is purchased for child, it definitely worth the price. Child doesnt weight like an adult and wouldn’t wear off this mattress as quickly as an adult (unless jumps on it).
This is the single bed mattress.
The mattress gets delivered, curled up in a box, in a semi vacuum plastic wrap. When you cut into the wrap the mattress will slowly begin to straighten out and expand. I left it laid on another bed for a few hours to fully settle into its full shape. Once opened, you’ll not be able to get the mattress back in the box – unless you have vacuum packing gear at home.
This is a single-sided mattress, i.e. the memory foam is on one side. If you periodically turn your mattress, in this case, it is just top to tail.
If you just sit on the edge of your bed, this mattress may feel a bit springy. Once you lie down on it, the support becomes obvious. The springs are responsive to your weight, but the mattress is not too soft nor too firm.
I’ve been sleeping on this for a couple of weeks or so now. I’ve had good nights’ sleep and feel refreshed and ache free in the morning. What more could you ask?
