Impressed by the sturdy quality at this price.
A good umbrella, solidly built with an easy winding handle to open and close. Collapses into 2 sections for storage. Recommend buying a short elastic rope with hooks or similar to hold it shut as has no closure to hold it shut in storage.

Bought the umbrella during hot spell. Delivery was prompt and umbrella was great during nice weather. The mechanism is robust and the umbrella is pretty sturdy even in a breeze. Good buy and good value for money

Only ” likes .” Very easily assembled and excellent technique for raising and lowering the parasol. Very pleased indeed. The other reason the parasol is necessary is still required ie. SUNSHINE . I shall raise at the first ray of sun. P. Weston.

Don't tilt if its slightly breezy
Great for an upright umbrella but try use the tilt and it transforms into a great sailing ship, ignoring the sun and swinging freely, backwards and to the left, then to the right. The base, bought separately, doesn’t help as the screw fastener hasn’t a hope in nell of keeping it in the right place – just don’t expect too much. Might try sitting under it at half mast in the wind, but then only English sit out in all weather!

Standard parasol stand doesn’t really fit (too tight) and is not heavy enough to balance it’s weight. Apart from that: great!

The main beauty of this one is the ‘wind up’ mechanism. Works a treat. It makes opening and closing the umbrella effortless and safe. My wife can open this one, she could not open the previous, unasisted, one. As an extra: at the pussh of a button the top tilts over, which is useful with a low sun. This is a really impressive product.

Good umbrella, except when I use tilt function. Back garden is breezy so doesn’t matter what I do the umbrella moves round with the wind

Excellent product, very sturdy! We ordered the cream colour and its so much better than having a darker colour as it keeps you cool underneath as a pose to the darker colours attracting the heat. Great size too!

First summer season of this parasol
I have used this new parasol on a few occasions so far having purchased it in 2021. It feels well made in every aspect. At this point the durability of the crank mechanism is open ended being the part most likely to fail. I shall be pleased if it lasts five summers. So far, so good.
Value for money
I liked the green colour and the handle to wind it with . I purchased for my 6 seater table .

Our old parasol suddenly deteriorated, after about 10 years of use, which was part of a previously purchased garden set. This parasol was 100% the same and was delivered promptly.

Very pleased with this umbrella. The first one that came, the arm for winding it up had been broken off, but they sorted it out very quickly and efficiently and within a couple of days we had the old one collected and the new one delivered.

great parasol
I bought this to replace a Homebase parasol I had bought 3 years ago ( which was still useable but the wooden pole was beginning to crack and look a bit hazardous in a breeze ). Its made of metal, so, though not as natural looking it goes well with my teak table and chairs. The colour is mid grey, the crank works well to wind up the parasol, there are 2 tilt positions and I’m delighted with it. It came the next day, despite saying it would take 2 days to arrive.

eplacing an older parasol that got blown out of the table! So I’m hoping this one is heavier and more sturdy. It’s larger too and allows a greater shaded area.

I got this to replace the one we’d had for well over 10 years. This one seems similar in weight and quality. The posts are made out of powder coated metal. The winding handle seems sturdy the tilt button works well. All very similar to my old parasol although I’m not sure the canopy is quite the same quality. The material is a little thinner as you can see the weave, so not sure if the UV protection will be as stated. Having said that, it’s not as if we’re on the beach sunbathing. We use it just for barbecues and relatively short periods of time anyway. Also, unless I’m mistaken I don’t think the diameter is 3m. More like 2.1 – 2.2m would be my estimate, which was similar to my old one. All in all it’s probably what I expected for the money I paid. It’ll spend most of the summer permanently outside come wind rain or shine until I put it away for the winter. So I guess I’ll find out whether it was worth it by September’ish.

Time will tell as just received but find the tilt button mechanism very difficult to return to upright, you have to press a button and push above the button at the same time, given the height of this button it is extremely difficult to do

Only had it a short time but seems sturdy and well made. I’m really pleased so far-had a few windy days and it’s stayed in place as I think it’s heavier than ones with the aluminium poles. Delivery was super quick too.
