Our family of detectorists is growing, i started off on my own, had my boys join in and now their grandfather has joined is, we don’t find a lot but we don’t spend hours walking around chatting whilst detectoring.

This is probably one of the top end detectors we have, it may have a short range but we’ve pulled a fair few finds out of the ground even if most of those have been rubbish. It has an arm rest support that allows you to relax your hand whilst walking and let the weight push up on the back of your arm meaning you don’t get tired very quickly, although this is a very lightweight unit so that helps too.

The controls are self explanatory and allow us to adapt based on the terrain and what we seem to be pulling up and the depth gauge makes it easier to see if it should be done by hand or how feasible it is to get something out.

No gold as of yet, but plenty of old coins and nails.

SunPower is a very good company. The first metal detector arrived and didnt work, possibly damaged in transit? I contacted the company and within 24 hours I had a replacement. Great service. The detector works really well, the instructions are clear and its easy to use. I would recommend this product.

This is good metal detector. It is so easy project to assemble. The quality of this detector is well built. Metal detector is lightweight with adjustable handle. Display is easy to understand and is quite responsive to different metals. Metal detector comes with folding shovel headset and strudy case. It would be great for hobbier of any skill level.

This was very easy to use and I had a great day out.
Found it easy ya assemble . There were quite a lot of instructions though that I worked my way through.

First time buyer and user of a metal detector. Went for this model due to the completeness of the package , the reviews and the tempting price. Assembly was simple involving no more than 3 thumbscrews, 2 slot ins and the winding of the cable around the handle before plugging in said cable. Oh, and the batteries. The manual was comprehensive but in Chinese-English, so a little bit wonky. Needed a touch of patience to match the words against the diagrams. This took us two adults a good 15 minutes but we were both learning new system words. Eventually the machine beeped and we were away on our test circuit of coins! My wife found all 5 quite quickly and tried an all metal mode and a more discerning specialist metal mode. Both worked well. The carry bag and spade appear well made. You do need your own batteries remember, 8 AA. Comfort wise the elbow support works. The weight was noticeable but the balance was good. No faults found but we have the security of the Amazon name.

Me my wife and my children all now have metal detectors! We love it we are now a metal detectorist family! This one is mine it is easy to put together really lightweight and as for accuracy well I’m not rich yet but I found a few bottles tops and cans!

The metal detector is very lightweight, it is fantastic to use, the sound is great, the head phones that come with it are great. It’s very easy to set up and the instructions.

My grandson, 21, loves this metal detector and here’s why: well-engineered, precision-honed, easily assembled and used, durably-built, good battery life, and very accurate in pinpointing targets for exploration. Also, a sturdy metal folding shovel, not flimsy plastic. Highly recommended.

Delivery was very quick, easy to assemble, it took a while to read the instructions however, once set up, it does exactly what you want it to!
Good value with the extras too….carry bag, headphones and digging spade!

My partner has wanted one of these for ages, he doesn’t like buying himself things so thought I’d buy it for him as a pressy.
Came with everything needed including headphones and shovel that I thought was handy.
Pics taken on unboxing, but we found it easy to put together and it didn’t take long at all.
Very lightweight, even our son has had a go and managed to hold it.
My partner works all week so we only really have 1 day a week we can go out and explore. It took us a little time to get used to how it works and we managed to find a couple of coins, looking forward to more explorations and finding more items

Easy to assemble. Lightweight and comes in a handy case.

We are still learning as we go along but we only have good words for it and its accessories. It was fairly easy to assemble. The shovel is small, lightweight and sturdy. The headphones are not heavy and pick up signals easily. They are quite comfortable to wear. The included backpack is perfect for carrying everything.

We use the all metal feature which detects all metal regardless but you if you adjust it with the wheel it tells you exactly where the metal is. I also like the sense mode. I highly recommend it if you are not professionals. I am not an expert but we have lots of fun finding cool stuff. We are happy with the accuracy and it’s light enough to use for reasonable periods. A very good inexpensive thing. Good value.

This is a great product for the money, easy to setup, accurate once you have dialled in the correct settings, take the time to read the manual, it will save you time in the long run.
We’ve had cheaper more toy like detectors before, but this is the next level for us, took it to the beach this weekend and found lots of little items, still waiting to find the gold bullion though !!!
All in all it does what it says on the box, good product for the price range.

Brilliant bit of kit, my nephew has a metal detector and never got out with it so I decided to get one myself. I haven’t had the chance to use all the settings yet but detecting all metal was goo fun. I am looking forward to lock down ending so we can hit Brighton beach and maybe become rich?
Very easy to put together and easy to use with a carry bag. I haven’t used the spade thing that it comes with but I have played with it a bit and it seems great. My brother has just purchased one too as he really liked it! Just need the pin pointer device now as that would make the set complete

Got this more professional metal detector which came nice carry case and shovel. Easy to carry around.
Nice well balanced handle which easy to hold. Detector with fully charged together with batteries is still light and not heavy , even after long use hand not getting tired.
It’s detects well different metals , noice level changes depending the material, size and depth of the object.
Having good fun so far, something as a hobby to use. Much better than my beginning model.
Large display screen , clear visibility and quite easy to use. Overall much better than beginner model.

very easy to assemble. clear user manual good lcd display recommend buying. Metal detector good for children and adults. I also recommend buying a smaller metal detector, also of the SUNPOW brand. both metal detectors are very sensitive, I like the discrimination of other metals and ground balance. very good goods for a very low price. Along with the court detector, the headset does not have aa battery. the smaller detector comes with a case and a battery.

I bought this to replace my old detector that decided it was no longer playing ball… i was unsure at 1st as its not a brand that I was familiar with however I after reading the reviews on the various models across the range I deciddd to give the sunpow a go a what a good choice it was.

I chose this one as it has the upgraded chipset enabling it to power a massive 10 inch search coil. Not only that but as its ip 65 rated it can also be used in shallow water.

The sensitivity is a lot higher that my previous detector and can easily be adjusted so that once you know the machine you can soon figure out how far below the surface you need to dig.

There’s several settings to consider for selecting what type of materials either trigger the alarm or are ignored by the device. A quick read of the included instructions made thiese very ease to set and its a god send that you can tell it to ignore the junk as no one wants to spend time digging for ring pulls and bottle tops.

Also inuded in the box is handy fold away spade that also doubles as a pick axe for digging up your treasure.
Headphones are also included with inline volume controll that connect to the main unit via 3.5mm jack, as with the rest of the equipment they seem well made and robust however I have not used them as the in built speaker was more than sufficient.

Finally there is a carrybag that houses the detector, headphones and spade keeping them all secured in one place. Its very well made and with the choice of using either shoulder strap or carry handles its clear that a lot of thought has been put into this product from start to finnish

Firstly I would like to say how well this came packaged, this is my first ever metal detector. And all I can say its amazing. So easy to put together, also so easy to set up. I have never used one before. Went out and found stuff straight away. Practiced firstly finding stuff I put down and then went for it. Found this brotch in the picture. Its a great peice off kit I would highly recommended this to anyone.
