The Security Kit allows you to discreetly install cables for PIR’s, contact switches,cameras etc. The kit is also useful for wireless CCTV products when installing power cables.

After half a day failing to get a wire up through a cavity for an outside light, I ordered this kit and managed to do it in 15mins!
Why oh why have I been screwing around bits of plastic and coat hangers for so long!!!!

When the product arrived the light attachment was missing. I see It was included in the description. I saw a couple of reviews stating it was also missing from their kit. I called Super Rod and they have told me that it is indeed included. They asked for my address and are sending me one out FOC. I urge anyone who hasn’t received it to do the same. Really professional and nice to deal with. Buy these rods!
Very good, just make sure you do not leave them on a site as someone will lift them. High quality rods, if you use rods these are strong and good.
As with most products you get what you pay for , these super rods are of a high quality and with the flexible rods and accessory pack make light work of threading cables to where they need to be , the most helpful accessory is the cable sock , which ends the need to tape the cables to the rods , no more struggling to remove the tape after use , so would recommend these rods to anyone, as they do not appear to splinter or snap at the threads.
I’ve sent years using other rods with great success but these are a game changer with the amazing range of tips, lights, magnets and camera a single to buy. The choice of rod rigidivity is really handy too. This is my 3rd set to add to my collection.
Best tool for electricians can fix through for anything. Also good for plumbers for flexi pipes getting them through closed ceilings
These replaced my old CK rods which had years of service, and served me well to be fair. But, these super rods are worlds apart, the accessories tube works well and had 99% of everything you might need. The differing flex of the rods works so well in many different applications, and the chain and magnet are a must fishing on your own!

I’ve used a ton of fishing tools over the years, various magnetic ones, all rubbish, obligatory coat hangers, tightly coiled plastic reels, literally all various types. This is by far the best and I will not be going back. First job allowed me to fit 11 downlights in a living room without having to cut one extra hole! The finger trap cable attachment is an absolute revelation. Mini torch and magnetic tips are amazing. I seriously suggest watching a couple of the manufacturers videos on how to get the best out of this set, but buy these and you won’t go wrong and you’ll save hours of time.

Great product, but arrived with 1 accessory missing. Due to this lack of quality control I now face a 2-3 week wait for replacement.
*Update* I’ve been unimpressed by more than one Super Rod product and I was even less impressed by their follow up when they contacted me off the back of this review, but fair’s fair and it high time I updated this to include an actual review of the product…
This set is exceptionally well made and offers the sort of flexibility that makes light of some challenging jobs. Between the varying flexibility of included rods, and the wide range of accessories included, it has pulled me out of many tricky situations. While Super Rod products aren’t cheap, I’ve found that accessories tend to be better priced (not to mention the wider range available) than those from competitors and I can not fault a single aspect of this set.
Has made life much easier when trying to lay network cables under floors or into voids.

Great product but was twice delivered with only 9, not 12 rods. Very solidly built in Wales – much more durable than my previous set and the attachments are very well thought out.

The Rods are great cant fault them. There the best out of all the rods out there just now. However the metal chain attachment broke within a month with hardly any use which is a shame as it is handy to have. I would get another one if it was a better design (by this i mean for the chain to be stronger) Bar this the rest of the attachments are brilliant.

I bought the product to install numerous cables in the new house that I had, and didn’t want to create too much disturbance to the new walls.
The magnet and chain are brilliant and have saved a lot of frustration and time. The little light is perfect for installing on a second rod to help aid with positioning and routing of the cable feed rod.
Would recommend identifying the correct set of rods prior to buying as some accessories are very bespoke for certain types of installation. But you can always buy the accessories to build up you sets.
