Our 3 week old would not sleep in the bedside crib or the moses basket, only on us. As you can imagine, this meant one of us had to be awake in shifts and sleep was a thing of the past. We got Ewan to see if it would help and the first night was a complete success! As long as Ewan was on, he would sleep in the crib and only wake for a nappy change and feed. Let’s hope this routine continues! Definitely worth the buy.

It is perfect for soothing baby, and to be honest me and my husband loved it too.
Only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is due to the fact my baby isn’t quite 1 year old yet and the first one we had stopped working. We did get a lot of use out of it, but The cry sensor wouldn’t work and the settings changed back to default every time it turned itself off.
This beautiful little thing made life so much easier when our son was smaller. We had 3 of these on the go, one for upstairs. One for down stairs and one for when we was out. He absolutely loved the hoover and shush sounds.
The auto sence was brilliant for night time wake ups, the only down side was in the day any noise would start it which led to increase battery use.
I have brought since for family members who have had babies. I was continue to recommend because this was top 5 of must haves for me. Unfortunately we killed all 3 of our ewans after almost 2 years of consistent use. Heavy use. But we have the lovely Teddy still. Couldn’t recommend this higher. Its a game changer.
You can have it loud or quiet so the sound and noise is perfect.. quality is perfect as you can wash it if it gets dirty to love it!!!
Love this product, perfect sleep aid for newborns. If you do have a very unsettled baby however i personally would recommend something else with consistent white noise but for most babies this is a good comfort. Good value for money & lovely soft plush material. Battery life remains good, easy to use with clear instructions. Would recommend for 0-9 months but could be used for older if needed. Noise is good as you can change volume and honestly never bothers me, Has a 20 min lockout so switches off after the time so good performance. seems very safe
She’s now 14 weeks old and still had him with her, all be it she’s a little more alert now and takes a little bit more settling but if she stirs through the night he still kicks in and sends her back off! She’s been sleeping all night since 10 weeks old! Maybe we’ve been lucky on that front!

I initially wasn’t sure! The sound quality isn’t amazing and the feature where it “turns on in response to baby crying” is a load of nonsense- he will literally turn on if someone so much as sneezes or a car drives past.
Having said that, just turning him on with the heartbeat and shush sound and the soft red light seems to be really soothing for my baby and we now use it for every nap and bedtime.
I think there might be better quality sound machines out there though.
As amazing as this item is (it’s really help settle my 5month old who’s just finished his sleep regression ) I brought it on the 29th of jan it’s now the 16th of February and it’s already needed to have it’s batteries change twice!! Hence why I’ve only given it 4 stars. The shush setting is great but I think that’s what drains the battery as if it hears baby Cry it will re set the 4hrs it listens, so some days I don’t even need to reset it as it’s still listening by the time he goes to bed as it’s reset from his naps though out the day. Just bear that is mind maybe turn it off between naps/bedtime maybe that will save the battery life.
Bought as a gift for our new grandson. His parents are very pleased with Ewen. Always on guard and ready to aid a restful and peaceful sleep. The gentle red glow and wonderfully soothing sounds of the womb and heartbeat even I found calming, The gentle ‘hushing’ works wonderfully. great idea. Strong velcro on the tail allows Ewen to be fixed securely almost anywhere. He’s not exactly what you would call cuddly soft, but he is cuddly enough. lovely.
Got this as a gift for my friend’s baby. She says it is a life saver, calms the baby down and puts her to sleep. It is not cheap, but worth the money.
As first time parents, this is a must buy. Have it attached at the side of the moses basket and it settles all 3 of us on a night. Put the harp sound on and it acts as a lullaby for even parents. Best buy eve
The only thing you NEED when having a child literally Ewan stays awake to play music to your child before you even realise they need it !!! Ewan is a super hero !!! Beautiful as a gift to new parents and travels everywhere with us !! We live Ewan !!!!
Two volumes to choose from, I use on the quieter setting. Light seems perfect brightness, its meant to be like being in the womb. My son cuddles ewan to sleep and when he wakes up throughout the night Ewan is perfect with its cry sensor and my son settles back to sleep. It would make the perfect gif
This is amazing, the calming sounds settle my granddaughter back to sleep during the night. The warm red light is soothing. It also doesn’t disturb the parents. Would recommend for any parents of a newborn. Also the battery life is brilliant.
We used Ewan the sheep every night for our newborn. Selection of white noises, the noise mimicking womb sounds worked really well. Worth the money in our experience if you enjoy your own sleep!
he best present we got for our baby, it’s our go to present for our friends now too. it’s like having a third parent during the night, as soon as she makes a sound ewan kicks in. we use the womb sounds / shushing and it still works 10 months later.
I’ve now bought 4 Ewan’s over a number of years for various family births and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
They work every time without any drama, and do the job they were bought for. Providing a soothing glow and womb sounds to help small babies get off to sleep.
Have to say I’ve found the sound very relaxing too when using it to help our grandkids off to sleep!
Excellent product; I would highly recommend. Be careful when installing batteries not to damage the screws, I had to buy this twice because the first time I used an electric screwdriver and destroyed the screw heads. Instructions are straightforward and the product works perfectly; baby isn’t here yet but we have been playing it to him in the womb to get him used to some of the sounds.
