I bought this as I recently got a new iPad which has the new type charging cable which I could no longer sync it with my MacBook. I also recently got a new android phone which was a free upgrade from my network provider and although it has the new type cable, it didn’t have a plug with it. This adapter works well for both items. I can use it to adapt a usb type plug and also sync my iPad. Very good value for money
It irritates me that now that USB c is becoming commonplace, I am having to buy and use these adaptors, but this aside, these are well made, durable and good value for money.

Value for money
I bought these to connect my OM Systems OM 1 camera to my laptop which only has a USB-A port. They work perfectly well and I managed to update the firmware on my camera without any problems.
I was actually pleasantly surprised by these. They have a premium look and feel and have worked well so far. Even the packaging was nice with the foam insert inside the box cut to fit the USB C adapters exactly.
These add little bulk to a cable and they work fine, no issues at all.

Speaking of USB C adaptors the common perception is USB C to USB A but what about when your wall charger, battery bank etc is an old USB A

When i got s22 it only had usb c to c lead. Frustrating, but the little beauties do the job at little cost. Me happy bunny

Great little USB -> USB C converters, they feel well-made and they’re pretty non-intrusive (low profile). You can’t really go wrong with these at the price!

Got these to connect Samsung watch 5 USB c puck to standard USB a charger. S22 phone & Pro 5 watch don’t come with an adapter at all….these little cuties have saved me buying two new adapters. Good quality, robust, & a 3 pack so one is now in the campervan for when we use the USB ports in there
These are ideal and work very well the only downside is as they are small it would have been nice if the come in a container or bag to keep them safe.

This little item does what it says, seems to made well and durability is good as yet, value for money is great for the fact you get 3 for the price , so all in all quite happy.
Works well to charge via a normal usb port into type c and then using the apple provided charging cable for the iwatch. However one downside is that you cannot use this for QC (quick charge) in either combination, it just picks it up as standard current and takes it own jolly good time to charge. I suspect that there must be a chip/ resistor in the adapter which is stopping it from doing QC but likewise it does charge at the standard current.
The USB C to USB A adapter is really well built with a great finish (color) and a smooth metallic feel to it. It has a great weight that I think is excellent and screams well-finished quality to me.
Would highly recommend it, completely forgot you get three in a pack which was an excellent surprise for me, so the more the merrier essentially.
With many products now changing to USBC but USB charging points are still mainly what is around, these are really handy.
As we navigate the annoying but perfectly understandable transition to USB-c from a variety of other USB formats, having a small cluster of these (and the reverse) in the top desk drawer is really helpful, and these seem to be perfectly fit for purpose. When you get new cables for your peripherals get good quality USB-c ones, then you can use adapters such as this to retrofit to older laptops/PCs or whatever. [For purists, I have no idea why the camera question comes up in the rating when typically the technical issues for image transfer are way less than for FMV, audio or comms. I’ve had no problems with playing HDR through these.]
Comes with 3 in the box, they work really well. Saved buying 3 new USB c wall plugs and certainly a damn site cheaper. This means they can still use their existing charger heads as new iPhones don’t seem to come with a wall plug anymore and are supplied with a USB c to lightning lead.
I have no usb-c female charging ports and with this, didn’t need to buy one when my Apple Watch arrived with a usb-c cable.

Bought it for charger and just tested one for usb3 work (not sure if it keeps up to speed but it’s not intended to use as data) PD works thru it and that’s amazing too.
The latest Apple iPhones are sold with a charging lead but without the appropriate mains plug. A plug ‘must’ then be purchased to accept the USB C of the lead. This Syntech adaptor avoids this unnecessary and (as supplied by our O2 store) bulky purchase. At 4.99 for three, they can be left in standard USB sockets wherever they might be needed.
Works perfectly in car usb1 port to convert to usbc. Now using Apple mag charger in the Usbc adaptor and it’s all working a treat. The other two adapters will definitely come in handy and really pleased with my purchase.

Dell Vostro purchased late 2021 has no USB-C port and needed to use an external USB-C hub that I’d bought a while ago. These Syntech adapters have done what I needed. Standard ‘old-style’ USB connection into the laptop & then the USB-C external USB hub connects into that & worked as soon as plugged in, all good.
The packaging with this product compared to previous ones I bought really stood out. It was nicely boxed in a slim box sealed with quality stickers. Inside each usb converter was inlayed into a foam pad cutout. Really well presented. Product works well with no lag. Build of the product is of good and solid material as well

Used this product for new apple phone chargers to be able to charge into a USB port, no problems with charging time, product is as shown. Great value for money and three pack is very useful.
I recently installed a number of 13amp sockets with USB charging ports however the newer devices are now all USB C. These adaptors enabled me to easily charge the newer devices without having bulky additional cables trailing everywhere.
The adaptors themselves once plugged in only stick out the sockets by a 5-6mms so dont take up too much room.
I needed some way to plug a USB-C cable into a USB-A port, and these do the job perfectly. What else can I say?
They do what they are supposed to do, when I need to take my SSD drive somewhere else that does not have a Type C port then these work a treat. Great price.

However, three of them for the price is good value. Now sitting in my drawer for those occasions when I can’t find a USB C charger. I can now plug my USB C device into a USB A plug.
For the money they aren’t bad, I just noticed that a couple of (good quality) USB C cables feel slightly loose when connected to these. Otherwise fine though

Having bough some Airpods, I needed to charge them. Apple in their infinite wisdom decided to make the connection a USB C rather than the more common USB A. these little chaps solve that problem in a heartbeat. I have one plugged in permanently now to my USB plus socket and another one in my travel bag. Great bit of kit that does exactly as you would hope

I have an increasing number of devices with USB C connections, and several older style USB chargers. These adapters are neat, and enable me to use my old chargers for a wider range of devices, saving me from additional cost. The adapters are small and neat and feel robust. Most importantly they work.
These adapters do the job as per description. The only reason I am not gining five stars is because they are not really solid and made of cheap material.
Purchased an Apple Watch 7 as a Christmas present for my wife and whilst I was aware Apple had stopped shipping chargers with their products, I was shocked to find there was no adapter or any means of actually charging a (nearly) 400 Watch! Out of the box!! – nice one Apple NOT :-/

These do the job allowing usb-c to usb only devices. However, the only downside is, inserting can be a struggle as on my laptop and tv they were quite stiff and tight.
The adapter is fine but amazon put too much packaging for a very small item.
Works well, and can charge iPad Pro (new) with this connector without issue. Not tried data transfer as mostly use WiFi these days.

I upgraded my tablet recently, and found that the charging cable supplied was very different to my previous model. The last tablet had USB A to Lightning port cables whereas the new one was supplied with USB C TO USB C cables. This meant that the good quality charging plugs I’d purchased over time for work and in the car were no longer compatible, but I still needed to hang onto them for my other devices.
Although I could have purchased new USB C charging plugs and cables and have two different charging solutions in the car and at work, this pack of four adapters has given my existing chargers a new lease of life, allowing me to continue using my existing charging plugs in the car and at work but at a fraction of the cost and I can also still use them for my other USB A devices too.
They have a great positive fit, seem well made and I’ve had no issues with them whatsoever.

Got a new iPhone and Apple Watch and both came with the USBc cable, I didn’t have a compatible plug in my house so I couldn’t use the cables.
