linking ipads to compute
When our new ipads arrived with cables that only linked to electric plugs we had no way of linking them to computers which we already had. These little devices have enabled us to upload images more easily to our website.

I bought this as I recently got a new iPad which has the new type charging cable which I could no longer sync it with my MacBook. I also recently got a new android phone which was a free upgrade from my network provider and although it has the new type cable, it didn’t have a plug with it. This adapter works well for both items. I can use it to adapt a usb type plug and also sync my iPad. Very good value for money
Just what I was looking for at good price
Recently had to buy a new iPhone, irritating that Apple no longer provide a charging plug with new phones, just the USB C cable. These adapters come in a pack of 3 in a handy storage box. Just what I need to charge my phone in my USB power sockets at home or connect my phone to the USB socket in my car. So far so good
Cheap, but good quality. Not a lot else to say.
It irritates me that now that USB c is becoming commonplace, I am having to buy and use these adaptors, but this aside, these are well made, durable and good value for money.

Premium look and feel

Got these to connect Samsung watch 5 USB c puck to standard USB a charger. S22 phone & Pro 5 watch don’t come with an adapter at all….these little cuties have saved me buying two new adapters. Good quality, robust, & a 3 pack so one is now in the campervan for when we use the USB ports in there

Does what they say they will do. Only used them for charging adapter for an Apple Watch, but so so far so good.
Works well for charging the iwatch from a standard USB po
Works well to charge via a normal usb port into type c and then using the apple provided charging cable for the iwatch. However one downside is that you cannot use this for QC (quick charge) in either combination, it just picks it up as standard current and takes it own jolly good time to charge. I suspect that there must be a chip/ resistor in the adapter which is stopping it from doing QC but likewise it does charge at the standard current.

Sturdy, secure and stable
The USB C to USB A adapter is really well built with a great finish (color) and a smooth metallic feel to it. It has a great weight that I think is excellent and screams well-finished quality to me.
Would highly recommend it, completely forgot you get three in a pack which was an excellent surprise for me, so the more the merrier essentially.

With many products now changing to USBC but USB charging points are still mainly what is around, these are really handy.

As we navigate the annoying but perfectly understandable transition to USB-c from a variety of other USB formats, having a small cluster of these (and the reverse) in the top desk drawer is really helpful, and these seem to be perfectly fit for purpose. When you get new cables for your peripherals get good quality USB-c ones, then you can use adapters such as this to retrofit to older laptops/PCs or whatever. [For purists, I have no idea why the camera question comes up in the rating when typically the technical issues for image transfer are way less than for FMV, audio or comms. I’ve had no problems with playing HDR through these.]
Saved buying 3 new USB c plugs
Comes with 3 in the box, they work really well. Saved buying 3 new USB c wall plugs and certainly a damn site cheaper. This means they can still use their existing charger heads as new iPhones don’t seem to come with a wall plug anymore and are supplied with a USB c to lightning lead.

Bought it for charger and just tested one for usb3 work (not sure if it keeps up to speed but it’s not intended to use as data) PD works thru it and that’s amazing too.
No need to waste money on iPhone accessories.
The latest Apple iPhones are sold with a charging lead but without the appropriate mains plug. A plug ‘must’ then be purchased to accept the USB C of the lead. This Syntech adaptor avoids this unnecessary and (as supplied by our O2 store) bulky purchase. At 4.99 for three, they can be left in standard USB sockets wherever they might be needed.

Works perfectly in car usb1 port to convert to usbc. Now using Apple mag charger in the Usbc adaptor and it’s all working a treat. The other two adapters will definitely come in handy and really pleased with my purchase.

Bought 3 as good for the money.
I’ve only been using 1 so far, with the others still in the box.
However I don’t regret buying them as I want to keep them in place if I do use them, rather than move them from car to home etc.
I have not had and messages on my iPhone when I connect using it. It just charged like normal.
Thought i would mention that as I remember with my previous iPhone, it would sometimes pop up with an error if you try a ‘cheap’ non-Apple charging accessory.
