Electric ShowersElectric Showers require cold water only which is heated instantly to provide a hot shower. – An electric shower only heats the water you use once the shower is switched on. Gravity fed hot water system
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is usually low. To give a higher pressure and flow rate from a mixer shower a booster pump can be installed.
Gravity fed hot water system with Booster Pump
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is increased due to the addition of a Booster Pump.
Unvented System
An unvented system has a hot water cylinder that is connected directly to the mains cold water supply and there is no need for a cold water tank in the home. The water is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater. As everything is under the pressure of mains water, the flow rates from taps and showers are much better and a pump is not needed to get a powerful shower. An unvented cylinder can be installed virtually anywhere e.g. in an airing cupboard or garage.
Combination Boiler
A combi – boiler can be located anywhere within the home. More often wall mounted but some are floor mounted. It heats water ‘on demand’ when a hot tap or mixer shower is turned on. Connected directly to the mains cold water supply at high pressure there is no need for a hot water cylinder, cold water tank or shower pump in the home.

Excellent. Really good quality shower. Fitted onto existing electrics to replace old one. No problems at all.
Bought as a replacement for same unit that failed after 5 years use.
When first installed there was a water leak but when came to replace the shower the leak had disappeared.

Can not get bette
The model sent was the most up to-date. unfortunately the diagram shows an earlier type and the new one allows no provision to change the wire loop. ie) casing is a different shape.
Does the job.
Flow isnt great but im limited by electrical cable size. Its not this showers fault its the fact that its 8.5kw
I bought this product to replace my old shower unit which stopped working after 17yrs!!!!! The original shower was a redring zeta digital but was expensive to replace. My plumber recommended a Triton and for the price I am happy with it.
Brilliant shower plenty of water comes out of shower head very hot too.
The delivery of the shower came in two days very good, the plumber said it was best shower he had fitted, so thanks Ozzy

Bought to replace a Triton Forte. This T80 is a big improvement. More pressure, despite both being 8.5kw.
This item arrived very quickly was in excellent condition and works exactly as described in the advert. Very good value for money..
Looks good and all appears to be in good working order. Easy enough to replace older micra but had to drill additional screw holes
Not quite as good a pressure as I’d hoped, but better then my old Gainsborough 9.5KW
Triton in my view always do what it says on the tin. I have 4 now (diffrerent models) and all work well, thus only buy Triton these days
Triton easy fit shower. I only use Triton as I have never had a problem with them.
After reading all the reviews I decided on this one, so far it’s been a good showe
Seems a good bit of kit, it would have got 5 stars but this was supposed to be interchangeable with my previous Triton, however there were different fixing screw positions so a bit of drilling was needed.
A short shower hose seems to be the norm which to my mind is a crazy, so get a longer one from ebay and have a comfortable shower without having to be a contortionist.
