Great grocery store! It is perfect size and built well. The belt moves by the handle and extremely easy for a child to use. The scanner doesn’t have a red light but when you put a product under the scanner it beeps like it has just been scanned. The calculator works well but the front for the customer is just for looks. If your child uses the credit card, it does beep as well though. My daughter is 42 inches and the height is perfect for her. Many other reviews added legs which is a great idea and I probably will in the future when she gets taller. The grocery store comes with many cardboard box grocery items but I followed another review that purchased the Melissa and Doug Fresh Mart kit. I added the grab and go favorites to the side with a command strip instead of adding the included shelf. I also added a command strip hook to the back for the bags. Over all with the food from the store, the Melissa and Doug Fresh Mart set, and what my daughter already had I felt it stocked the store enough. We already had the Melissa and Doug shopping cart and it works great with it. I got this one for about half the price of the Melissa and Doug Fresh Mart grocery store and feel it is just as great of a product. Highly recommend.
I’m very happy with this purchase. I researched so many options before buying. Most of the other options out there are either terribly ugly or expensive. This is the perfect middle ground. 50 something bucks for a super cute little store. I didn’t use the black shelf on the back, I think it looks better without it. Love it!

We like the scanner so much ! With the price we actually didn’t expect much but we just discovered that we could slide a provided credit card and it made sound too! (See video)
Only things we would like it to be improved was money bills and coins. They look cheap and very poor designed. The coins are made of card board and the bills are made of glossy paper which is noting like real money. (It may cut your little one hand if not be careful.) We know they are just for pretend play but Melissa and Doug’s money bills are much much better !
It’s little small compared to Kidkraft Farm to Table kitchen that we have (see picture) but we plan to make it taller in the future if needed with wooden couch legs.

Great sturdy little playset. I added legs and added on the Melissa and Doug set. While constructing it, I noticed the conveyor belt was very weak and didn’t move much. I stopped assembling and ran out to get some grip tape from the local hardware. This is tape that has a sandpaper texture on it. I cut 3 thin straps as long as the dowel and applied them on the dowel which has the handle to turn. After I did that, I finished assembly. The belt will now move even big objects, because the tape grips the belt. I can’t wait for the kids to see it on Christmas morning. I subtracted 1 star for the belt not working it’s best.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it! It was easy to put together and very heavy duty. I would definitely reccommend.
I am happy with this product. Wish it could of been a little larger overall but still happy and my daughter loves it.

Perfect little store front. We ended up removing the black piece (it does nothing structurally) and added some cute flags for decor. My kids age 2 and 4 love it!

What a FANTASTIC toy I purchased for my grandchildren, they can stand up to play with this is very well made, lots of things they can do, make beep, learn to share roles, calculator as well, travellator is hand operated, super cool bar code reader which beeps, credit card machine that beeps and takes your pin number, so much to learn from. I bought shopping bags from another seller and personalised with their shop name and details on them, and they have had hours of fun, and just loving it, 4 and 1 yr olds. A great toy to learn to share with siblings, as they can take turns being shopkeeper, or shopper. Thank you so much best buy this Christmas.

I am extremely pleased with this purchase for my almost 3 year old granddaughter. She knows not to put small objects in her mouth and to be honest there’s not many parts that I would worry about. Really pleased with the sturdiness of the structure after reading on other play shop reviews that they were flimsy with a tendency to fall over.
I’m sure this will give my granddaughter and friends lots and lots of fun play times.

Amazing product my little boy is going to love playing with this . Great product for role playing. The quality is really high and very sturdy, love how the scanner beeps and it even comes with pretend play food which I wasn’t expecting.
