Great performance but colour may not be for everyone if you care about such things…..
After months of putting up with an old iron that discharged brown water over my shirts, I finally lost patience and ordered this one. Wish i had got on and done it earlier! As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a relatively heavy iron for some and the colour may not be to everyone’s taste. However i have not found either of these to be an issue and the performance of it is excellent. Easy to to use and it glides across the ironing board with little effort and it has cut my ironing time down dramatically. Very happy with it.
Great Iro
Great Iron, working well so far after having 2 Bosch irons which don’t last much longer than a year / 18 months. So far so good, and the limescale filter is a great idea and so easy to clean.
Brilliant iro
Brilliant iron, this takes the gate out of ironing, it is quite heavy but maybe that’s because a had a cheap naff iron fit a few years. Definitely reduced my ironing time

Best Iron We Have Ever Owned
A really good iron. Some items that have always been difficult to iron are easy with this iron. Very nice to use. Gets through the water quite quickly but I haven’t had to top up mid iron. Maybe if you did a lot of ironing in one go you might have to re-fill the reservoir.

Bought this on the back of a Which magazine review. It has the long cable that I need, steams well and all the other usual iron features are good. What I failed to take into account was its weight. It is very heavy. So much so Im thinking of buying another iron to replace this one despite only having it a few weeks and paying 99 …. to late to return item now. I dont consider myself a weak and weedy individual but its giving me trouble wielding it around while putting the creases in my husbands boxers!!!!

Best iron I’ve ever used. I like to have it on max steam which uses a bit of water but just have a jug on standby. Cuts ironing time in half easily. And its bonny!
Quite heavy for smaller users
Everything about the iron is good, except the weight. It is OK for myself, but my wife finds it a bit much. Overall it is OK. Tefal products have always been reliable hence the purchase.

It’s not lightweight ...but thats why I bought it.
Really love this iron. Its used for crafting mainly to press fabric, so i wanted something with a bit of weight. Good functions and nice pointed front to get into corners.

Amazing iron, so worth spending extra and purchasing this iron, it flies through the toughest of creases. Seriously it’s sad getting excited about an iron but I’m arguing with the wife who’s going to do normally the most tiresome of chores to falling over who’s getting to the laundry basket first. ( we are in the 2021 lockdown though)
Fabulous iro
It’s a fabulous iron that makes short work of ironing, Other reviewers have disliked the weight of the iron but I prefer a solid iron to a lighter model – It seems to have a ‘garden roller’ effect on the ironing. It certainly isn’t too heavy. It’s a gem in a sea of very mediocre irons!

Arrived with a damaged box and a few superficial marks on the plastic of the iron but it works ok so I’ve kept it as it was a good 40 cheaper than other stores.
Nice Iron but disgraceful packaging
Iron arrived in a battered box with polystyrene all in bits.
It looked second hand with the cable all screwed up and shoved in the box.
That said, A good iron that irons well.

I bought this iron to replace my old iron. I make tweed skirts and my old iron burned a hole through one of my items !
This iron is easy to use and adjust and is very powerful, I use it every day and have had no issues and it has never stuck to my fabrics.
The iron can be quite heavy when full as its tank is large but I only ever half fill it anyway and that is plenty for my needs.
I really didnt want to spend so much money on an iron, but I am glad I did as it makes light work of the job

Excellent delivery of steam made ironing a pleasure and because lifting the iron is barely necessary because of this the fear that the iron would be too heavy was unfounded. Easy to switch between the different features and easy to fill (with just tap water) make this iron a winner.

It produces so much steam that all creases disappear in seconds. No spills of water, moves easily and is very light. It’s slightly bigger than a standard iron, has a long cable.

Quick to reach temperature and excellent cord length
This is a great iron. Simple to use, reaches temperature quickly, holds a reasonable amount of water and has a sensibly long electric cord. There’s a useful groove just above the plate so you can get around buttons easily and I’m very pleased with the overall results.
This iron has a anti calc filte
I really enjoy using this iron as it does the job perfectly in no time at all. In my opinion it is a little heavier than my previous iron, however that doesn’t bother me too much even with arthritic hands. Though expensive it is well designed and has a anti calc filter.
Lots of steam for a quick iro
A really good quality iron with plenty of steam and the sole plate is super smooth and really glides well. All helped to get the job done faster and that gets my vote. This is not the lightest of irons but it also isn’t heavy enough that it put me off it.

Brilliant iron. I brought it for mother’s 60th b/day at first I thought It would be too heavy for her. But over time she has grown to love using the iron.. the best features she says is the large water reservoir and the super steam function. We live where our water supply is considered as “heavy water” ..the scale filter is another added gem!…we have now been now using the iron for well over two months With no drips, water stains and scale build up.

Love this iron. It looks lovely too. It is a little heavy but removes creases with ease. Controls are easy to use. Nice long cord. I would buy again as I am delighted with this iron. I haven’t had it long so time will tell but at the moment it’s a great iron.

This is probably the best iron I’ve ever had. Easy to fill, just the right size and no buttons to get in the way when the handle is gripped – marvellous. It is on the heavy side, but I like that, I find that it makes ironing easier and faster. Some might find it too heavy, so bear that in mind.

I bought this based on previous good reviews. My old iron used to leave brown stains and so far this one doesn’t. It is heavier than my last one but it doesn’t bother me. The steam makes it very smooth and although I’ve only used it a few times, I’m happy with my purchase.

It a great iron, little effort needed to get creases out, from that perspective it’s amazing but it is a little on the heavy side compared to my last iron. I have now got used to it but you do need good hand strength. I would buy it again though as I get through my ironing in no time at all. Very pleased with this purchase.

Some people find the position of the extra steam button awkward , I don’t – you just have to hold the handle a little lower down and you quickly get used to it. All in all I’m very happy with this purchase, I don’t love ironing and it helps me get through it quickly!

Excellent Iron, I don’t normally read reviews, but in this case I did. It irons perfectly, the steam boost is exactly that a good boost. Previous reviews say it’s a heavy iron, I’ll not lie it is heavier than my previous irons and a little bigger in physical size, but personally I feel this adds to the effectiveness. Very impressed.

Very pleased with this iron. Delighted that it does everything it promised. Especially not leaving little drips of water when steaming. It is easy to fill with water and when the seal is shut it doesn’t leak. Something which plagued me when using my old iron. Ironing clothes, is easy now.

A solid iron that has easily replaced a Phillips Azure, it irons well, fairly heavy but the more you pay the better quality components (I hope). The only slight downside is as it produces more steam and therefore needs filling more frequently
Weighty, High Performance Iro
This is an excellent, high powered Steam Iron. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is pretty heavy, so I wouldn’t recommend for older or infirm people. For everyone else I think it is a great buy – we used to avoid ironing as it was a pain to get the steam generator iron out of the cupboard, but this makes it much easier. I still don’t love ironing though!

This is the best iron I’ve ever had! I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it aswell. Other reviewers said it was a little bit the heavy side but I love how it feels, I’m in control! Instructions are easy and it glides over all garments taking the creases our with ease. Just brilliant!

Easy to use – irons lovely. If in hard water area it is advised to use 50/50 water and distilled water had slight problem getting distilled but managed it OK in end.

I read reviews other had left, and have to agree, the iron is quite heavy, heavier than I anticipate so can be hard work. That said, I am getting on really well with this iron. I like an iron that makes sharpe work of the dreaded ironing pile. I also love the fact it is rose gold/copper which matches my kitchen and laundry room. I am not disappointed with this purchase.

Really happy with this iron, it is heavier than my previous iron but I prefer a heavier more substantial iron. The steam output is brilliant and makes light work of ironing. I would recommend.

This iron is quite heavy. It’s steam action is great and easy to hold, haven’t used it long enough to know if it will be effective against staining clothes. I hope so because I have been through so many irons it’s not funny.

Life may seem a little gloomy if writing about an iron is the highlight of your day but this one is a bit splendid. Ironing isn’t ever fun but this one does make it less of a chore, heats quickly, irons beautifully, It’s quite heavy but that’s a good thing if you ask me, gets the pesky wrinkles out faster.
It’s expensive but I read reviews and believe it is worth it, so far, so good.
I read other reviews before buying but the weight of this iron has not been an issue for me. It is a real improvement on the Tefal iron I had before this, as that tended to leak water from the place where you fill the water tank. This iron has a rubber seal, preventing this issue.
