Good iron to get through a mountain of laundry
Purchase this as a warehouse deal. Excellent iron fully automatic. Good steam production when u need. Simple to operate and not too heavy to use. I tend to do all my ironing for the week together in one go and this can get through it all on one tank full of water. No need to repeated full the water tank. Enough steam generated and gets through the workload quickly. Happy with my purchase so far. It’s stored in the cupboard and is easy enough to lift and store.

A REPLACEMENT FOR MY 8 YR OLD TEFAL
I have had a Tefal steam generator for years now – the last one I bought 8 yrs ago is still working but the steam lead is frayed so I decided to treat myself! That might sound sad but if, like me, you’re not a lover of ironing, at least with this machine it’s easy peasy and gets done in half the time with great results.

I’ve been using Steam Generators for years and usually have to replace every 18-24 months due to heavy usage and really hard water in my area.
Thought I’d pay a little more for this one and having had it a few months now, I am really impressed.
The easy glide and constant steam is great and it’s proving to be one of the best steam generators I’ve had over the years.

Mine lasted 9 years!
After 9 years, having moved it around the country and using in and out of hard water areas, it’s held up well. Occasionally, it did leak brown water, but I must admit that it was due to my own lack to removing the limescale catcher regularly and using 50/50 tap and iron water. I’m sure had I done, it would have lasted longer. Now I’m stuck with having to purchase a new steam generator and there’s too much choice and good ones are sooo expensive. When I originally bought this one, I got it on sale for 50. Definitely, was a steal. Would highly recommend buying as it will last a long time and probably longer than mine if used properly.

Bought this to replace my previous slightly older model. Was disappointed to see that the description says on board cord storage but unlike my previous one there’s no button to pull in the cord. Very difficult with online shopping to notice this difference with many models available.

Good quality and pressing resul
Had one before and it packed up after 8 years and a lot of use. Be one seems fine so far and a bit heavier but that’s good for the pressing. Did a lot of research and it’s a minefield so I went for brand I knew and the almost top price version as I didn’t need the extra bar pressure.

I owned a Tefal steam generator for years and when it finally failed I bought this latest model. I am delighted with it and it’s simplicity of use. The only possible weakness I can see is the water tank. the old one was fixed and the new one is removable for ease of filling. I can foresee problems with the seals with the constant removal and refitting. Only time will tell
good Iro
Ive had about 4 of these irons now and although they dont last much more than 4 years( i live in a very hard water area) I still go back to it because i like it better than any other ive tried.

I had the earlier version of this model for the past 7 years, until last month it suddenly died. I was devastated as it has to be the best iron i’ve ever used and we have a lot of ironing!!
This model seems as good as its predecessor. The cord doesn’t automatically wind in which is a shame as that was a useful feature. Tucking the power cord in, isn’t as effective. The calc collector etc are the same and the amount of water held in the tank is the same. I only use deionised water in mine as it prevents the sludge that can occur with steam irons. So far, so good. I hoping this one lasts the same length of time as my previous iron and i’ll be very happy!

Great iron. After 7 months of using it (on average once per week I would say), it’s working fine and makes ironing an easy chore. Good idea to allow 3 settings of heating.
